She?s no stranger to modeling bling, and Miranda Kerr is a vision of Aussie beauty in the new campaign for Swarovski.
The lovely 31-year-old poser worked with photographer Steven Meisel for the spread, showcasing the brand?s new mixed metals collection.
Creative director Nathalie Colin explained, ?Miranda was an obvious choice for Swarovski. She represents a very contemporary idea of women, which illustrates the brand perfectly.?
And it sounds like Miranda was excited to front the ads- ?I love the versatility that Swarovski infuses into its collections. Its pieces are always in step with the times, fashionable yet timeless, so you can wear them from morning to evening, with casual and formal styles.?

Miranda Kerr covers the July issue of Net-A-Porter’s The Edit as “a woman with drive.” That’s very accurate. No one can accuse Miranda of not having hustle. She’s turned herself into a brand and works hard at setting up side projects like her latest, a collaboration with Swarovski. She’ll probably be designing jewelry, right? Or maybe thongs. I can’t even deal with wearing a regular thong. The thought of a Swarovski thong is something I probably shouldn’t have mentioned.
This interview with the Edit is mostly uneventful. There is one part where she starts to complain about the paparazzi. Miranda poses so hard for the paps, but she does have a point here when it comes to her son:
Miranda’s personal style: “I like what Stella McCartney stands for and she’s good at what she does. Alexander Wang, too — I?m a very tactile person so I like fabrics that feel good. Especially now, with my son; I like it when [fabrics] are soft so I can cuddle up to him and they don’t get creased.”
Her healthy eating: “I grew up learning the benefits first-hand from my grandmother. She had a vegetable patch at the back of her house and she would teach me how to cook — all very simple but wholesome. Learning the benefits of eating organic food and the nutrient value was ingrained into me, then it was something that I wanted to learn more about because for my job I need to feel my best so that I can give my best.”
On happiness: “We all have bad days and negative emotions. But I?ve realized it’s important to sit with it and let it pass, and if it doesn’t pass, choose a thought that will help it pass. Focus on what it is that you’re grateful for. Having perspective is key.I feel happiest when I?m with my son at the beach or the park, and we get to enjoy ourselves without paparazzi. Privacy is the most important thing, especially being a mother; when I have an off-duty day, it?s challenging if there are photographers around. It becomes a circus and I don’t want that for Flynn. If I?m on my way to work and they get a photo, it?s fine. But if somebody wants to have a day off … Can you imagine being a builder and having to build on your day off? I get my photo taken for a living, and when I have a day off, they?re still taking photos. I have perspective about it, but it’s just nice to have little moments when they don’t intrude.”

Miranda seems very concerned about Flynn’s privacy. She can’t help it that Flynn gets papped when he’s out with her (or with Orlando). No judgment there at all. Here’s where things get a little odd — Miranda also covers the July issue of Vogue Australia. Guess who appears alongside her in the shoot? Flynn. He’s as adorable as can be, and he seems to be a little ham. Editor Edwina McCann spoke to E! Online and said Flynn had a blast, and that it was Miranda’s idea for him to appear in the shoot. Is that inconsistent with Miranda’s desire to shield Flynn from the circus of fame?

Promoting her darling teaware collection, Miranda Kerr stepped out in Sydney, Australia on Friday afternoon (May 16).
The 31-year-old model was clad in a bright Pink ensemble as she chatted to press about her brand new Royal Albert pop-up store in the Aussie town.
During the event, Miranda shared a photo of her designers with the brand, which feature bright floral and pale pastel backgrounds.
In addition to the photo, Miss Kerr wrote, ?So proud to launch my designs for @royalalbertaus?

Ew, this hairstyle is not the best on Miranda Kerr. She?s trying to do a high-ponytail with some volume at the top, and it just doesn?t work with the shape of her face. These are photos of Miranda at the Swarovski Gala Dinner at the Sydney Opera House yesterday. So? she was in Sydney a few days ago, when James Packer and his friend got into a fistfight in the street over Miranda?s alleged homewrecking ways.
Anyway, Miranda has a newish (it?s a few days old) interview with The Telegraph, and I found it really enjoyable. Her granola shtick grinds away and it?s clear that The Telegraph interview is committed to finding the woman behind the cutesy, wholesome faade. Which leads to some interesting revelations, and Miranda even gets terse about religion. Some highlights:
The religion part: Although she has only positive things to say about Bloom, one of the few times I see a glimmer of real personality during our interview is when I ask her about her religion and spirituality. It’s been previously reported dozens of times that Kerr is a practising Nichiren Buddhist, which she now denies. “No, I’m not Buddhist. Orlando is,” she says, a little sharply. When I ask her if that’s been misreported, she will only say, “I’m not Buddhist. I’m Christian. I pray every day. I meditate every day and I do yoga. I’m not religious, I’m spiritual. And praying is something my grandmother taught me as well. To pray and be grateful, have gratitude, is a big thing for me.”
Putting the first photo of Flynn on her social media: “There was so much pressure at the time on us as a family for that first picture. And you know, the paparazzi were very aggressive and waiting outside our door every single day. And so Orlando and I decided – he took the photo – to post it on my social media. That way, that first photo wouldn’t be worth nearly as much, because I’d already posted it.” She says it takes a lot of effort and time to avoid the paparazzi, but she’s sanguine about them. “It’s all part of the process. And I accept that. You can’t begrudge it because it’s helped me get to where I am today. But there are times when [I wish] I didn’t have to worry about it so much.”
Who she?s closest to: Kerr says that she has a “variety of friends, and I like people from different walks of life”. She mentions one friend from home, and her make-up artist, Rosemary, who looks after her dog, Frankie, when she’s away. She says she speaks to her grandmother and her father. She does not mention her mother, Therese, who made headlines in February when she complained on an Australian reality show that the family barely sees Kerr anymore.
The James Packer rumors: All Kerr will say about her current romantic life is that she’s “single and focused on work”.
She?s not just a model: “I’m not limited by modelling. It’s not the be all and end all. I’m very appreciative of it, but if it stops tomorrow, that’s not the end of the world, because there’s so much more that I’m passionate about as well.”

She does not take a lot of time and effort avoiding the paparazzi. Bollocks. For a while there, she was doing daily paparazzi-friendly outings, and she still gets pap?d on the reg, especially in NYC. As for her religion, oh, excuse me, her spiritual talk? I understand what she was trying to say, she just said it in a really weird way. I guess she?s saying that she was raised a Christian, she still identifies as Christian, but she does yoga and meditates and tries to find the spiritual side of banging billionaires. Namaste, girl.

She is used to turning heads wherever she goes, so it was no surprise that Miranda Kerr did just that at the Swarovski Gala Dinner on Wednesday (May 14) in Sydney.
Dazzling in a midriff baring, lacy black ensemble by Lover, the Aussie model obliged the legions of shutterbugs outside Bennelong Restaurantas she made her way to the event.
Meanwhile, the former Victoria's Secret Angel opened up to the Telegraph about her split from Orlando Bloom last year.
"We've been really good about it," says Kerr of their co-parenting arrangement. "He's a great dad, we're great friends and we both really love and respect each other. It works out really well, because when I go away for a couple days [Flynn] stays with his dad."
In addition, Miranda talked about her VS gig and explained, It was "a really wonderful experience and one that I'm so grateful for, because it opened up so many doors and really gave me a voice in the industry.Although various tabloids reported that Kerr was let go from her $1 million, three-year contract last year, she says that it was her choice to walk away: "I'm very close with the team. I just felt like I couldn't commit to the amount of days that they needed and that was required."

Celebrating the opening of a brand new store, Miranda Kerr arrived in Shanghai, China on Thursday (May 8).
The 31-year-old supermodel helped Michael Kors open his Kerry Centre Flagship shop in the center of the city?s downtown. The storefront brightens up the street with a gorgeous glass facade that gives shoppers an appealing reason to come inside.
Meanwhile, Miranda celebrated the famous designer via Twitter and shared her support with her 2.79 followers.
?Congratulations @michaelkors on your first flagship store opening in China! #MKshanghai,? Kerr wrote.

Miranda Kerr covers the new issues of Vogue Taiwan and Harper?s Bazaar UK. I kind of like the Bazaar shoot ? it?s not as p0rny as some of her recent pictorials have been. That being said, I really do believe that Miranda got some post-Orlando breast implants and she?s determined to show them off on red carpets and in magazines. I guess she?s getting her money?s worth. As for the Bazaar interview? it?s same old/same old. Some highlights:
She?s bossy: ?There?s nothing in my way once I make up my mind. Bossy? I can be. I like to be direct. My son?s bossy, too.?
Walking away from her Victoria?s Secret contract: ?I used to be in two different countries every single week. I made a conscious decision to shift gears. I?m very much a people-pleaser at heart ? I feel that if everyone else is happy, then I?m happy ? but I?m learning the power of saying no and putting my foot down.?
Her divorce: ?Everyone goes through challenging periods in their life. That?s inevitable and it?s part of being human. I feel like it?s a daily process of being positive. It’s something that’s a choice and I have different tools, like meditation, even prayer – my grandmother taught me to pray when I was young – and just finding that inner peace All these experiences make me into the person I am. The tough days make the positive days even more beautiful. The challenging days add more depth and strength of character.?
On Orlando: ?Well, we are very good. We speak every day. We’re really close, we’re going to be a family for ever and we really do love one each other. We have genuine love and respect for each other. We’re very connected and I feel grateful for that. We created something beautiful together and we both remind ourselves how lucky we are to have that. And yeah, it’s good. He’s a great dad. I’m lucky.?
There?s always room for improvement: ?The older I get, the more of a perfectionist I become. I feel like I can do better, you know? There’s always room for improvement. I like to get constructive criticism and I love when people are honest.?
On son Flynn: ?He has so much love around him. That’s why he feels he can express himself and be free. All he knows in the world is love. So cheeky and charming already. You notice his little British accent? Like his dad.?

I feel like there?s a split between women who wear the ?bossy? tag as a statement of pride, like, ?Yes, I?m bossy. I own that.? And then there are women ? like Beyonce and Sheryl Sandberg ? who think that bossy is a misogynistic, weighted word, that we don?t call men ?bossy? and so we should eliminate from conversations about women. But in Miranda?s case, I?m not sure it really matters. I don?t really think of her as bossy or the boss. As for the ?constructive criticism? thing ? Miranda has already said that she likes when people critique her love-making skills. Ugh.
