Miranda Kerr covers the October/November issue of RUSSH, which is the “homegrown issue” of the Australian magazine. As such, the Victoria’s Secret model is proudly acknowledging her roots with this slightly intriguing photoshoot. The cover shot itself is quite bizarre though — a corset underneath an AC/DC top seems rather odd at best. In most of the editorial within the magazine, Miranda is showing off an enviable figure including some serious abs that would rival the likes of Gwen Stefani.
Overall, I think Miranda is a well-intentioned young woman even if she seems a wee bit too judgy about epidurals and other holistic health issues. However, she is an excellent and rather versatile model who was chosen (hilariously enough) by this magazine as “a shining example of what we breed in the antipodes” and “a celebration of our world beyond Vegemite and other such clichs.” Certainly, Miranda is one of the most famous models ever bred in Australia, so she seems a fitting choice for this issue. The photos are lovely even if her face is at least partially hidden in most of the shots.
Miranda also covers the October issue of Cosmopolitan South Africa, and I’m including the cover at the bottom of this post, but here are some excerpts from her interview:
On body image: “I have a good relationship with my body and I think that comes down to the fact that I listen to what it’s telling me. I’d say the only thing I can sometimes deprive my body of is sleep, and it’s in those moments of being tired I can feel a little overwhelmed.”
On beauty tips: “My all time best beauty tip is to dry-brush your body daily. It improves the functioning of the lymphatic system, improves circulation and leaves skin smoother. It also keeps cellulite at bay.”
On goals: “I have pictures of places I’d love to go, people I hope to meet, things I’d like to do, and even pictures of friends and family I pray will remain in my life. I find it uplifting to look over the images and focus on them as part of my future.”
Orly is so romantic: “One time in Paris, we went to The Hemingway Bar beneath the Ritz. Sitting there, we were inspired to write love notes to each other. I didn’t know he’d kept these until a few years later – at Christmas – he presented me with a frame containing all those notes. [It's] my favorite gift!”

That part about Orlando is so sweet, but I have to wonder whether or not she gave their relationship lip service because of recent rumors that they were on the verge of a split. Yeah, I’m cynical like that.

Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Miranda Kerr was busy gearing up for Fashion?s Night Out in Sydney, Australia today (September 6).
The David Jones supermodel smiled for the cameras, sporting an Erdem dress and Louis Vuitton necklace outside her Kora Organics pop-up store, located in the trendy Martin Place shopping district.
Along with Miranda, fellow hottie Nicole Trunfio also showed up at the shop to help garner attention and sell lots of product.

Showing off her stunning looks to promote some of the latest products in hair care, Miranda Kerr was on hand for the launch of Unilever?s new range on Wednesday (September 5) in Sydney, Australia.
The gorgeous Victoria?s Secret model looked stunning in a knee length floral print dress and nude heels as she posed for the awaiting photographers before heading into The Palmhouse venue at The Royal Botanic Gardens.
As for the trip back to her homeland - where she has been situated over the past few weeks - Miranda has been busy trying to split her time up between work and play.
The 29 year-old's Land Down Under doings include shooting a swimsuit campaign, working on her KORA organics line and even making other public appearances including a stop at Australian retailer David Jones.

Surprisingly making her first cover appearance for the Down Under publication, Miranda Kerr brought her hotness to the October 2012 issue of Marie Claire Australia magazine.
The 29-year-old Sydney born supermodel struck a range of titillating poses for the front page effort while dishing about everything from life with baby Flynn to her top-notch culinary skills.

On shooting a magazine cover:
"When you shoot a cover it's more about engaging with the audience. You need to be a little bit more friendly and approachable. It depends on what you're wearing, as well, and the feeling that you want to portray and what the editor wants. We all work together and you try and give a few variations and then they can get what they want."
On what's changed since the arrival of her son, Flynn:
"Everything, I'd say. I'm not traveling as much now because I prefer to spend my time with him. It put it in a new perspective, like, he's the most important thing. It's amazing and I love it."
On cooking for husband Orlando Bloom:
"His favorite thing at the moment is when I slow-roast the chicken. So, I'll put the chicken in the oven for like eight hours and just slow roast it in coconut oil with garlic and onion and, yeah, it's delicious."

The Victoria's Secret stunner strapped on a range of too-hot two-piece swimsuits as she frolicked along the shoreline as the camera crew compiled their sure-to-be fabulous spread.
Recently having bared all for the September 2012 issue of Harper's Bazaar, Miss Kerr dished to the mag about her formula for success when it comes to looking good.
Of this, the 29-year-old told, "For me it?s all about keeping things simple and feeling comfortable in what I am wearing. I prefer investing in classic well tailored pieces.
Also chatting about dressing to feel sexy, Miranda revealed, "I really love over-the-knee boots. I think they?re super sexy and they?re fun." She added, "And they?re also very strong and empowering."
