Embracing all the controversy surrounding her performances and personal life, Miley Cyrus tested boundaries with a scandalous outfit at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Saturday (September 21).
The "We Can't Stop" singer arrived in a short mesh dress with furry sleeves, revealing teeny bottoms and just black dots over her nipples.
Later, for her performance, she changed into a slightly less revealing cropped white tank top and matching hotpants.
Introduced by Britney Spears at the event, the 20-year-old songstress got very emotional after singing her new hit "Wrecking Ball," later saying she knows "things I'm doing that's getting me into trouble and it's just me doing what my heart and soul is telling me what to do." Since Liam Hemsworth has been making out with the very hot Mexican actress/singer Eiza Gonzalez, Miley Cyrus needs her own rebound. One that will make Liam jealous because she loves him still. Hey, how about her “We Can’t Stop” producer with the unfortunate name, Mike WiLL Made It? This photo clearly makes their relationship official.
?Everyone knows they?re hooking up,? our insider says. ?Mike is very protective of Miley. It?s just understood that she?s off-limits.?

It didn’t take Liam Hemsworth’s new piece any time at all to receive attention from Us Weekly. Eiza Gonzalez has received a 5 Things to Know feature, which confirms what many of you noticed from yesterday’s before-and-after pics — girl has had some work done. Ah well.
Miley Cyrus is laying low since the breakup announcement and hasn’t been papped at all. Her Twitter page reveals she’s been rehearsing with backup singers. Miley also noted that “Wrecking Ball” is #1 all over the place. The naked video worked wonders.

Well this is anticlimactic. Miley Cyrus covers the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar just as the sh-t finally hits the fan in her personal life. Yesterday afternoon, People announced that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth finally called it quits. Both of their reps confirmed the split. The engagement is off. They’re no longer together. No more ring watch. No more Liam mooching out of Miley’s fridge.
I don’t really have much to say about this breakup other than they seemed like they grew apart. He craves privacy. She loves the spotlight. He might have been banging January Jones. She twerked all over Robin Thicke’s crotch. Now Miley’s Twitter account is surprisingly quiet. Liam is already chatting up random brunettes in Vegas. I feel better now. Don’t you?
Hopefully Miley will be okay. I don’t think she’ll handle this breakup well even though it’s been a long time coming. Let’s move on, shall we? Miley’s Bazaar cover was shot by Terry Richardson. They’re BFFs now after he shot her “Wrecking Ball” video and had her pose in his studio. Uncle Terry also crafted Miley’s a try-hard couture spread for September’s Bazaar. She’s now a Harper’s cover star. The cover and preview are okay, but the interview is disastrous:
Miley brings her own accessories “kit” to shoots: “I never know when I’m going to be like, ‘Photo shoot!’ And need some weird stuff to whip out.” What if there’s a sudden swarm of paparazzi? Or worse: “What if I get to a photo shoot and the stylist just sucks? So I bring my own sh-t.”
Her long road to the top: It’s been a year since “I started trying to take over the world,” she says, unknowingly paraphrasing a comment that Madonna made on American Bandstand nearly three decades ago. (In 1984, asked by Dick Clark what her future plans were, Madonna responded, “To rule the world.”)
Her post-”Hannah Montana” years: “I took off and I just wanted to party. I worked so hard, and I wanted to buy a house and just chill. I was an adult when I was supposed to be a kid. So now I’m an adult and I’m acting like a kid,” she says. There are times when I’m sitting in my big ole house and I’m like, ‘I can’t believe I’m allowed to be here alone.’ I want my house to be the party house!”
A telltale remark about her relationship: “I definitely don’t have time to deal with a wedding right now. But I will at some point.”
More advice for Justin Bieber: “I’m not saying you need to take a break because you’re crazy. I’m saying you need to take a break so you can be crazy, and people aren’t going to judge you. You’re going to do dumb stuff from here on out. But do it in your own time. Do it safely. You can afford to protect yourself and still have fun.”
She’s a twerking country girl: “There is no girl out there speaking on behalf of the country girls who are turnt up.”
Her feet are on the ground: “My parents always had money, and I’ve always been around this industry, so I didn’t have my mind blown or become obsessed with being famous. When I was growing up, I didn’t even notice that I started making all this money. There’s something about new money that makes people change. But I never did not have [money]. So when I got it, I didn’t become obsessed with having it.”
On wearing white: “I feel like every girl is trying to have a beauty shot and prove that they’re ‘fashion.’ But I can be in white leggings and a white sports bra and I’m on a whole other level of sh-t that those girls don’t even get yet because they don’t know how to do it.”
She’s not into acting: “I don’t really care to do anything acting-wise. I want to make all of my music videos so epic that it feels like I’m still involved with acting.”
She hated her Walmart line: “I went in there and saw, like, a puppy on a T-shirt. I was like, ‘This is not what I wanted.’ I wanted skinny jeans, I wanted to bless Walmart with jeggings! Making real stuff with high quality. Not quantity. But not until I know I can give it 120 percent. I don’t want to just slap my name on something.”
The music is what matters: “I’m someone who cares about the real things in life. There are things that are personal that stress me out, but my career? That doesn’t affect me. I know I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing. I’m not scared of anything.”

Where to start? I find it hilarious that Miley thinks she’s on a whole new level because she likes to wear a white sports bra and leggings. She really acts like this outfit is hugely significant, which is the same attitude she holds about all of her actions. All I can think when I see her in that outfit is “period nightmare.”
Good for Miley for getting this Bazaar cover. She won’t be on Vogue’s cover anytime soon, but Bazaar adores her grills. I do have a feeling Elton John is correct — a meltdown is coming, but it might have more to do with her losing the Vogue cover than losing Liam.

Everyone knew it was coming and could pretty much see it coming when Liam Hemsworth started hanging out with the Hollywood succubus known as January Jones and being seen with Mexican singer Eiza Gonzalez in Vegas, but now it’s official. Miley Cyrus and Liam have called off their engagement.
A source tells E! the decision was Miley’s after Liam’s “less than faithful” behavior. Though this is actually terrible news for Liam. Now that he’s not in a committed relationship, January Jones is going to lose all interest in him. Now who will give her another baby to pass off to the nanny?!

I think most of us can agree that there’s nothing even remotely remarkable about Miley Cyrus’ new music. It’s all just an attention grab, but it’s working at least for that purpose. As far as longevity and ticket sales go, we’ll see. I don’t think there are many people who would pay to watch Miley grind her ass against teddy bears on a world tour. There are many millions who will watch her deep and cerebral music videos as long as they contain nudity. “Wrecking Ball” is the fastest video to receive 100 million VEVO views:

These are photos of Miley Cyrus’ various outfits during her latest stay in London. This black tanktop and pants combo is rather nice until one realizes that one side is sheer. Miley is showing off her booty yet again, and it seems so unhygienic to sit on public surfaces with no protection. Yuck.
Yesterday, we talked about how Miley’s “Wrecking Ball” video (directed by the revolting Terry Richardson) broke the VEVO record with 19 million views in the first 24 hours. I am now shaking my head in disbelief because the video has now climbed to 59 million views. Of course people are watching because she’s naked. I had to laugh this morning at Shirley Manson’s subtle callout on Facebook: “If as a young woman you want to rebel and you want to be free, try doing what it is the system that you are imprisoned by, doesn’t want you to do. It is not remotely clever, subversive, outrageous or even that interesting to be naked. I do it all the time. What else you got?” Well Miley sat down with the Elvis Duran radio show to say the video is so much more than nudity:
“Wrecking Ball” vid is about vulnerability: “I think the video is much more [than that]. If people get past the point I make, and you actually look at me, you can tell I look more broken than even the song sounds. The song is a pop ballad that everyone can relate to; everyone has felt that feeling at some point. If people can take their minds off the obvious and go into their imagination and see what the video really means, it is so vulnerable. If you look at my eyes, I look more sad than actually my voice sounds on the record. It was a lot harder to do the video than it was to record the song. It was much more of an emotional experience.”
Oh, the pressure: “I was actually panicking last night because I felt like for me, with ?We Can’t Stop,’ there was all this anticipation and all this time to build up this one single. I have been so busy right now with ?We Can’t Stop’ still doing what it’s doing…so I feel like I have so much going on.”
Is she the queen of twerking? “For me, anything I do becomes it becomes such a big deal. I’m just having fun. Whatever people label it as it doesn’t really matter. I always want to switch it up.”

Miley’s about 10 degrees away from claiming to be an “artist” like Gaga, right? At least Gaga writes her own songs. Miley is a puppet who thinks she’s expressing herself. Other outlets are finally starting to ask whether Larry Rudolph is masterminding Miley’s abrupt transformation. I don’t think that Larry is pulling all the strings. These attention-grabs are 100% desired by Miley, but Larry is an expert at timing.
Oh here’s some Liam Hemsworth “news”: The latest issue of Us Weekly (via Radar Online) claims Liam is still sexting with January Jones. He’s texting clever things such as “I want to f— you.” Further, “Liam and Miley haven?t officially split, but it’s over. It’s just that neither wants to pull the trigger.”

She's the talk of the town lately and Miley Cyrus headed out to do some gabbing of her own with Alan Carr in London on Wednesday (September 11).
The "We Can't Stop" singer sported an airbrushed denim jacket with "Beverly Hills" on the back, denim cutoffs, and thigh-high black boots as she waved to fans before heading inside.
In an interview with Elvis Duran on Z100 earlier that day, the 20-year-old former Disney darling downplayed the controversy over her "Wrecking Ball" music video.
Directed by photographer Terry Richardson, the images include a naked Ms. Cyrus riding a wrecking ball and seductively licking a sledgehammer.
However, Miley insists that it's so much more, telling the host about the song about a troubled relationship, "If people get past the point I make, and you actually look at me, you can tell I look more broken than even the song sounds."
Hoping her fans can put aside the shock value, she continued, " If people can take their minds off the obvious and go into their imagination and see what the video really means, it is so vulnerable. If you look at my eyes, I look more sad than actually my voice sounds on the record. It was a lot harder to do the video than it was to record the song. It was much more of an emotional experience."

Here are some photos of Miley Cyrus yesterday in London. She’s wearing ridiculously tall, thigh-high Louboutin boots and a tartan “dress” that’s probably just a long shirt. We all know Miley enjoys going pantless whenever possible. I think she’s in Europe to promote her gross “Wrecking Ball” video. Sorry, Europe.
There are a bunch of Miley stories out there, so I’m going to borrow Kaiser’s bullet point method:
* Miley’s formula: Beg for attention and go from there. Her new naked video has now officially shattered the VEVO record (previously held by One Direction). Miley’s tan lines were gawked at over 19 million times in 24 hours. Is that really so surprising? The sad thing is few people were there for the song. They just wanted to see Miley make a fool of herself by grinding on a chain. Miley got the views, but people will tire of the “Look at me!” stuff very soon. What else can she do to top getting naked? Nothing. She doesn’t write her own songs, and she’ll make little to no money for her RCA record deal. For singers, the money is in touring. I’m not convinced attention will translate into ticket sales whenever she goes on tour to support Bangerz.
* The media is in a frenzy over this dumb video. The Guardian has already published an editorial about how Miley is setting back the battle of the sexes. They criticize how she’s clearly begging for attention with the nudity. Actress Shanae Grimes (“90210?) told E! Online Miley needs to wear some clothes, but I don’t think that’s the real problem. Nudity itself is not the issue here. The problem is Miley is only getting naked for attention. Miley can claim she did it to look “vulnerable,” but that’s a lie. Nudity also isn’t empowering when the revolting Terry Richardson is directing the video.
* Courtney Love (who also talked about Goop) approves of Miley’s antics: “You know, that hillbilly Miley Cyrus is sort of punk in a weird sex way.” Miley must be so pleased.
* Miley revealed the Bangerz tracklist. The songs listed include a duet with Britney Spears. Poor Brit.
* Hollywood Life is going batsh-t crazy with their stories about how Liam Hemsworth feels about the video. A mysterious source (Larry Rudolph? Tish?) keeps feeding them info. It is hilarious. Supposedly, Liam is cool with the
