Miley Cyrus covers the November issue Canada’s Fashion magazine. This cover and preview are not promising, but the interview is interesting. Miley has busied herself this week by hiding from the paps in the backseats of cars after her latest crotchgate and bizarre Rolling Stone cover feature. She wants the attention, but she doesn’t.
Liam Hemsworth just walked the red carpet alone in NYC for a Hugo Boss event. Miley talks about Liam in this interview. She never mentions him by name, but Miley wrote one song on the Bangerz album about him. It’s a sad song about wanting “to leave someone.” She wrote on Valentine’s Day — a few weeks before Liam Hemsworth got in a car with January Jones. Hmm:
Her discerning taste in fashion: “I can go through so many clothes say ‘no, that’s not me’ right away. I’m so adamant and controlling and OCD about my work that I can scare some people–especially when it comes to clothes. I have a very specific style of my own and I think it is better to be stylish than trendy. I find vintage Celine or Chanel and mix it with athletic or vintage pieces makes a look modern and fresh. Vintage makes everything look punk.”
More on MTV’s VMA censorship: “I was trying to slap Robin’s ass but no one saw it! Believe me! MTV edited so much. They cut almost everything I did. I’m proud of that performance. I feel like music is really stale right now. I could have guessed what a lot of artists would have done that night. The reaction to what I did has been insane. I think it was a breath of fresh air! For the people that don’t get it, you weren’t meant to.”
On “Drive,” which is about Liam Hemsworth: “I wrote it while I was working on Valentine’s Day–emotionally it was such a hard time. It is about needing to leave someone but not really wanting to completely cut yourself off from the relationship. It’s a time when you want to leave but you can’t. It’s also about moving on.”
Uncle Terry is the best: “Terry Richardson shot my video for ‘Wrecking Ball’ and he’s about capturing strength versus beauty. His women look so strong in his images.”
On critics and competition:: “I feel like I’m in a different lane now. When it comes to critics, I have my blinders on and I don’t really feel like I have to compete with other pop artists. I never think, ‘oh this performance is going to make her look bad or out-shadow her’ either but if there is no competition, there would be no reason for any of us to show up to work. At an office, everyone is trying to be boss. Pop music is the same. What I wear adds a factor that other girls can’t compete with.”
Her VMA red-carpet outfit: “I found what I wore on the red carpet to the VMAs with Pharrell. It was a Dolce and Gabbana piece from 1992–the year I was born. He saw it and said, ‘you have to buy it.’ I think that outfit added a factor that the other girls couldn’t compete with. Pharrell says it’s not about what you’re wearing; it’s the way you wear it. That was a lesson I took to heart. I think it is important that I execute a look better than other people. Fashion is what separates me from everyone else.?

Do you notice how Miley keeps telling herself that her style “adds a factor that other girls can’t compete with“? It’s like when she says wearing white means she’s “on a whole other level of sh-t.” Oh and she always brings her own bag of accessories to shoots because stylists usually suck. The level of delusion here is amazing. She’s forgotten about the music and is only thinking about her style. I feel like she realizes her image is her only way of getting attention, so she keeps talking it up like she’s doing something truly valuable for society.
The stuff she says about Uncle Terry is ridiculous too. Of course Terry makes women look strong! Incredibly strong blow-up dolls.

After performing at the iHeartRadio festival, Miley Cyrus went out and twerked with a monkey on her back. Not a metaphorical monkey. A live one dressed like a cowboy. She also gave a lap dance to a plushie and cuddled a baby kangaroo. This seems like it was part of some elaborate scavenger hunt for rich people. Which could explain why the last thing she did that night was do a line off a stripper’s butthole.

Miley Cyrus performed at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas over the weekend and, unlike her appearance at the MTV VMA Awards, she kept it a lot more elegant. She arrived wearing a conservative outfit made of netting and pasties. She then changed into a corset type outfit during her performance and showed everyone her camel toe. It was an all-around classy affair.

Miley Cyrus kept herself hidden most of last week after her breakup from Liam Hemsworth. In contrast, he stepped out right away with a new lady before flying out of LAX midweek. Now he’s on the Mockingjay set where he’ll have to memorize more than two lines for the last two Hunger Games movies.
Miley made her first post-breakup appearance at the iHeartRadio festival on Saturday. She wore all while again because she’s “ on a whole other level of sh-t” than we are with fashion. She also cried at the end of “Wrecking Ball” (you can see that video here). Some outlets are calling it a “breakdown.” The speculation is that Miley was weeping about Liam. Maybe she was, but the song isn’t about Liam because Miley didn’t even write it. I think Miley’s a better actress than anyone gives her credit for being. Maybe she figured everyone else was thinking about Liam. Hence the tears. I hope she’s not really crying about him.
During her four-song set, Miley danced with little people, mushrooms, and flowers. She said her videos are “getting me in trouble,” but “it’s just me doing what my heart and soul is telling me to do. Everything is inspired by the music.” Here her heart and soul told her to give herself a massive front wedgie. Miley later changed into an even more risqu second outfit. I’ve included those photos at the bottom of this post.
Several new stories are popping up about Liam’s new “girlfriend,” Eiza Gonzales. They only met about a week ago in Vegas, and he left LA on Wednesday for work. That hasn’t stopped Eiza from telling friends “they are in love.” A source in Miley’s camp says she’s insulted at the Liam-Eiza PDA because Liam was always on “this soapbox about keeping things private, now he?s breaking his own rules.” There’s an undercurrent of outlets digging into Eiza’s sketchy past. Many sites are also pointing out her (radical?) plastic surgery. Over the weekend, a reporter asked Eiza about Liam, and she left the room during a press conference. Eiza then locked her Twitter account. Huh.
Speaking of jumpoffs, some unfounded rumors are circling about Miley and her producer, Mike WiLL Made it. The Mail thinks that Miley has “confirmed” a relationship with Mike (or is it WiLL?) because she hugged him after her iHR performance. They also posed together months ago at Terry Richardson’s house of horrors. I don’t see it, but I could be wrong. Miley also hugged Justin Timberlake at the festival. I guess they’re doing it too. Someone tell Jessica Biel.
Miley’s second outfit of the evening was a disaster. She basically wore a black-and-white thong and black pasties covered in a mesh dress with furry arms. Look at Miley, everyone! That’s all she wants in life.

I’ve never been a huge fan of Miley Cyrus‘ weird wardrobe choices before, but this one I can definitely get behind. Because here’s Miley at another I Heart Radio event wearing nothing but a see-through dress and pasties, and it’s exactly what I was talking about earlier, how she needs to keep pushing her limits.

Here is Miley Cyrus performing onstage during the iHeart Radio Music Festival Village in Las Vegas, Nevada. Before she hit the stage, the crowd of a few hundred chanted: “Miley! Miley! Miley!”. She emerged onstage in all white, wearing a tight corset and high wasted shorts that revealed some of her backside.
Cyrus was fresh off the stage where she twerked and slapped the backside of a little person before singing an overly emotional rendition of her new ballad ?Wrecking Ball.?

Embracing all the controversy surrounding her performances and personal life, Miley Cyrus tested boundaries with a scandalous outfit at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Saturday (September 21).
The "We Can't Stop" singer arrived in a short mesh dress with furry sleeves, revealing teeny bottoms and just black dots over her nipples.
Later, for her performance, she changed into a slightly less revealing cropped white tank top and matching hotpants.
Introduced by Britney Spears at the event, the 20-year-old songstress got very emotional after singing her new hit "Wrecking Ball," later saying she knows "things I'm doing that's getting me into trouble and it's just me doing what my heart and soul is telling me what to do."
