As we discussed yesterday, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are over. Considering their breakup and makeup history, many of you think that they could possibly get back together at some point. I agree they seem to go in cycles depending on what persona Miley is trying on in any given month. She did the country-girl/hippie-wife thing for a couple of years but as we?ve seen from her interviews this year, she seemed to be feeling confined by that persona. All of which means that no one was really ?surprised? by Miley and Liam?s split.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth?s decision to split after less than a year of marriage may have caught fans off guard, but those close to the couple weren?t taken aback.
?This split isn?t shocking to people who are actually with them every day,? a source tells PEOPLE. ?After they reunited, everyone thought they were this ?perfect? couple, but they still had a lot of issues. They?re not on the same page when it comes to a lot of fundamental things that make a relationship work,? the source adds. ?It?s not surprising at all.?
Hours before Cyrus, 26, and Hemsworth, 29, confirmed their split, the singer was photographed kissing Brody Jenner?s ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter in Italy, where the pair are vacationing together alongside the singer?s older sister Brandi. Cyrus cuddles and kisses 30-year-old Carter ? who recently announced her split from Jenner ? while the pair lounge poolside in photos obtained by Entertainment Tonight. A source told PEOPLE exclusively that Cyrus and Carter have mutual friends in common and are ?just having fun? together.

I suggested yesterday that it sort of feels like Miley dumped Liam and ran off with Kaitlynn, and that maybe Miley and Kaitlynn are together now. I don?t know if that?s true, but it certainly seems like that?s what they want us to think. As for the split not being a surprise for people who know them? yeah. I wonder if Liam was getting tired of all of Miley?s bold pronouncements in interviews, some of which might have taken him by surprise.

I actually DID believe that Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus found happiness with each other after so many years. The Malibu fire brought them closer together, and after all their breakups and makeups, they found stability and a more mature kind of love. And? it didn?t even last a year. They got married last December. And now they?ve separated.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called it quits less than a year after tying the knot.
?Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,? a rep for Cyrus tells PEOPLE in a statement. ?Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what?s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.?
Rumors of a split between Cyrus, 26, and Hemsworth, 29, began on Saturday, after the ?Mother?s Daughter? singer posted a photo of herself on Instagram in which she was not wearing her wedding ring.
?Mute me if you don?t want SPAMMED,? she captioned the post, which featured Cyrus sitting in a chair while wearing a black bustier top with a matching pair of black pants. Although Cyrus is not wearing her wedding ring in the image, she is wearing multiple bracelets and necklaces. The photo was taken while Cyrus vacationed with Brody Jenner?s ex Kaitlynn Carter in Italy ? a trip which took place just one week after PEOPLE confirmed Carter?s split from Jenner after a year of marriage.

In the wake of the split, people are saying that two issues contributed: one, Miley recently talking about how she didn?t want to have kids because she didn?t want to contribute to the negative impact on the environment and secondly, Miley?s utter uniqueness at being the ONLY pansexual/bisexual woman to ever be in a heterosexual marriage. While I think the childfree issue was probably a slow-burning one which would have contributed long-term to the end of their marriage, I kind of think Miley might have cheated on Liam with Kaitlynn Carter. I think that?s what she?s telling people with these Instagrams Miley left Liam for Kaitlynn. Kaitlynn left Brody Jenner for Miley. And I can?t wait for Miley to talk about how she?s the first woman in history to ever leave her husband for another woman.

This post is a follow up to almost everything I brought up in Monday?s post about Miley Cyrus? new EP, She is Coming. First off, I mentioned that the phone number she listed on the condom cut off when called and that I thought there was a missed opportunity for Miley to promote one of her many charities, like Planned Parenthood. Fortunately, Miley was one step ahead of me and her next merchandise partnership does, in fact, serve double duty as promotion and charity. On Tuesday, Miley announced her collaboration with Marc Jacobs on a hoodie, the proceeds of which will support Planned Parenthood:

Someone on E! News said that Miley Cyrus was a million times more ?camp? during her Bangerz period than she was last night at the Met Gala. They made a good point back then, she was a buffet of kitchy excess and pop culture madness. For the Met Gala, she went pure ?80s in this Saint Laurent ensemble. I sort of understand what she was attempting: campy ?80s villain in a teen movie, right?
Zoe Kravitz in Saint. Laurent. I mean? I get what she was going for, but I think she could have done way better.
Demi Moore in Saint Laurent. Not camp at all. Not really trying to be.
Shawn Mendes in Saint Laurent. Just think of how he really could have camped it up, instead we get this sort of boring faux-Elvis look.
Sienna Miller in Paco Rabanne. I don?t really get it, is the look supposed to be ?cokehead camp??

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth made it to the Vanity Fair post-Oscar party. Miley wore this beautifully constructed Saint Laurent. I love how the different directions of the sequins give the illusion of different fabrics. I also like the draping around the faux knot at the waist. I?m not a fan of plunging necklines, especially when the dress has a dramatic slit up the thigh, but her awesome Bvlgari necklace is so beautifully showcased. I love the rest of her styling as well. Shes got a ?70s Halston vibe with the loose waves. Liam looks good. Hes been sick so I?m glad he?s back on his feet.
Lily Collins wore this floral Marchesa to the VF party. Its controversial to wear Marchesa and women know that theyre silently supporting Harvey Weinsteins ex, whose label was built through Weinsteins threats and abuses. That said, this is still a pretty dress. I especially love the bodice with the drape and mismatched sleeves. Lily made a big splash last night by hanging on the Internet?s Favorite Boyfriend and new Calvin Klein undie model, Noah Centineo.

Last night was the big LA premiere of Isn?t It Romantic, the Rebel Wilson film where she finds herself in the middle of a very twee romantic comedy full of all the standard and assinine romantic comedy tropes, only Rebel plays a normal, caustic, cynical woman. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra and Liam Hemsworth. Unfortunately, Liam was hospitalized a few days ago and he?s still recovering, so he?s missed some of the junket, and he had to miss the big premiere. Luckily for him, his wife Miley Cyrus stepped up in his place, and Miley actually turned out to be the biggest fashion moment from the premiere.
Miley wore this giant Valentino gown with big, dramatic ruffles and what looks like a mostly sheer bodice. I would expect this at the Oscars or the Met Gala it feels like it?s way too big for someone?s premiere, especially since Miley isn?t the star of the film! I mean, she looks good and I appreciate the drama of it. But in general, I find this annoying. Miley also tweeted about how Liam is home sick.
It could have been Priyanka Chopra?s night! She tried to go big too, just not as big as Miley. Priyanka wore this absolutely terrible Vivienne Westwood gown the problem here isn?t the design, it?s the fabric choices and colors. YIKES. And of course Nick Jonas was there too.
It should have been Rebel Wilson?s night, she?s the friggin? star of the movie! But no, Miley and Priyanka had to do their things. Rebel looked great too, she wore this Paolo Sebastian gown which looks amazing on her.
Constance Wu looked great too!

This is a major disappointment. Youd think out of all people celebrating New Years Evev Miley Cyrus would be sexing it up, tongue out, tits out and wearing very little clothing. Nope! This is Miley on New Years! Such a fail. 2019 doesnt look good for her!
