According to Gatecrasher, ever since Jay Cutler dumped Kristin Cavallari, she’s been scrambling for money. Apparently marrying rich was her way out of the world of middling celebrity. Now she’s stuck in D-list purgatory.
According to a source familiar with the situation, Cavallari has been aggressively searching for new revenue streams in the form of endorsements, events and party hosting. After leaving the reality-TV game a few years ago, she’s also working on a new show ? “all things she thought she never had to do again had Jay Cutler not dumped her,” says our source.
Strange considering the reason Jay dumped her was because she wouldn’t leave her career in LA. Turns out she never had one and was hoping her marriage to a guy who could net $50 million with the Chicago Bears would give her enough money to dick around in LA.

She's back on the hunt for Mr. Right after her engagement fell apart, and Kristin Cavallari was busy keeping up on her fit frame with a trip to the gym in West Hollywood on Wednesday (August 3).
The "Laguna Beach" babe donned a white t-shirt and black tights while offering up a big smile for paparazzi following her each and every move.
A few days earlier, Miss Cavallari looked lovely in a sexy summer maxi dress as she sipped some Vita CoCo Tropical Fruit water and picked up some freshly-cut flowers.
As for Kristin?s recently ended relationship with Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, ESPN pundit Skip Bayless says it?s for the best.
?I like the fact that he jettisoned his Hollywood starlet relationship. It wasn?t a good idea and wouldn?t have lasted,? he stated.

Two days after her wedding dress shoot for Life & Style, Kristin Cavallari was dumped by Jay Cutler. How embarrassing.
Just two days before Kristin Cavallari?s fianc, Jay Cutler, broke off their engagement, she was glowing with excitement while trying on a series of wedding dresses at her exclusive Life & Style photo shoot. The reality star looked dazzling in gowns by Anne Bowen and Mon Cheri Bridals as she gushed about her plans for a traditional wedding and her vision of walking down the aisle in a strapless gown. ?I want a romantic, mystical wedding, with lots of flowers,? she shared with Life & Style during the shoot at LA?s Mondrian Hotel on July 21
Now, an insider close to Kristin reveals that the real trouble began the very next day?on July 22?when Jay asked her to fly back to Chicago with him the following morning.
?Kristin said she didn?t want to because she?s working on a new TV project and had a full day of shooting scheduled for Tuesday [July 26],? the insider explains. But Jay was angry about it and the argument escalated. ?He told her that she needed to commit to him, and to move to Chicago,? the insider continues. When it became clear that Kristin had no intention of giving up her career in entertainment, Jay broke up with her ? returning to Chicago alone on July 23.
A romantic, mystical wedding? So smoke machine and candles? No wonder Jay dumped this girl. She sounds like an idiot. The only thing that could make this even more embarrassing is if the TV project was a reality show centered around her upcoming wedding. That is to say, I hope it was. *Crosses fingers*

Looking to be doing quite well as she moves on after her sudden split with Jay Cutler, Kristin Cavallari treated herself to a little retail therapy in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday (July 28).
The newly single reality star kept cool in the summertime heat in a sleeveless black top and denim short-shorts as she browsed the offerings at Planet Blue before emerging with a bagful of purchases.
The sighting comes as Miss Cavallari's name has landed in plenty of tabloid rumors following her called-off wedding with Bears QB Cutler - with one of the more recent concocted stories coming from HollywoodLife.
The often off-based site alleged that the split stemmed from Kristin accusing Jay of faking his football injury, of which Kristin tweeted, ?I never said ANYTHING about Jay?s knee injury. I?ve always backed him 100%. Stop trying to start s**t. I know he was seriously hurt.?

She even flips off the photographer in one of the shots, because she?s so classy and important and she can afford to be a bitch to the lone paparazzo who gives a crap. And before everyone starts yelling ?WHO?!!??, chill out. Kristin is a ?reality star? and ?professional bitch? who starred on Laguna Beach and The Hills.
Yesterday, many of us had a chuckle about Kristin Cavallari?s engagement getting canceled, likely because her fianc, Bears QB Jay Cutler, dumped her ass. That was the first version of the break up story - that Cutler had dumped her all of a sudden and that Kristin was ?devastated?. Perhaps Kristin realized that a lot of people were giggling with the schadenfreude of the situation, because just a few hours later, People Magazine published a new report claiming that Jay was ?beyond controlling? and he made her ?choose between spending time with him and with her girlfriends.? It read as damage control by a chick who had been dumped.
But! Jay Cutler is now defending Kristin. He took to Facebook and wrote, ?Thanks for the support, but if you talk bad about Kristin I will delete and block you. It’s unnecessary and heartless. Also, don’t say now I can play football, I could play football when I had her compared to when I don’t. Football is the least of my worries, so have some respect.? And then he shut down his page this morning.
Meanwhile, Radar has a source who claims the breakup is about the difference in their families: ?Jay comes from a really good, wholesome family, and Kristin is a reality TV star who comes from a broken home. His family also wasn?t overly fond of Kristin?s dad and they played a part in having Jay re-think taking the leap with Kristin.? So, once again, Kristin got dumped. Just FYI.
