Celebrating her successful world tour, Jennifer Lopez arrived at the Wet Republic Pool Party in Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon (August 18).
The 43-year-old performer donned a lacy, all-white ensemble with snake print heels as she lounged by the MGM Grand?s pool with her beau Casper Smart.
The Latina performer was later spotted at Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace for her world tour post party with Maria Menounos.
The ?Extra? host was excited to attend the prep-party show and tweeted, ?At the @jlo concert-she's amazing!?

Call me crazy, but I don?t have a total hate-on for this look. What can I say? It?s August, it?s an event in Las Vegas, and if you?re ever going to wear a crop top, booty shorts, reptile heels and a Birkin, it might as well be in Las Vegas in the middle of August. Do I wish Jennifer would stop with the crop tops and the whole ?Look at my abs!? thing? Sure. But she?s still going to do it, shade or no shade. As for the booty shorts? I?m sure we?ll debate this. The debate will be ?Are these really booty shorts, or are they short shorts and you?re dumb for calling them booty shorts?? My verdict is still ?Booty shorts, especially considering J.Lo?s booty.? Once again, there?s a time and a place. Studio 54 in 1978? Sure. Wear booty shorts. Las Vegas in August 2012? Sure, wear booty shorts. I really think J.Lo might be wearing me down. Also: I really love her crystal drop-earrings. This isn?t the best outfit overall, but I give her props for a great execution on a weird outfit.
I also had a moment (a wonderful moment) when I thought Casper wasn?t on this red carpet (it?s a carpet for Jennifer?s ?World Tour celebration? and she made a ?special appearance? at the Wet Republic Pool Party at the MGM Grand). But that moment passed when I saw that Casper also got photographed at the event, just not WITH Jennifer. She walked the carpet alone, and he was off doing his own thing. So? they?re still together, despite all of the rumors and speculation to the contrary. Just this week, OK! Mag claimed that Jennifer?s family had done a ?Casper intervention? and convinced her to ?take some space? away from Casper.
Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are about to go through a cooling-down period following an intervention by Jennifer’s family, an insider tells OK!.
Says the insider: “Jen’s family is very protective of her, and they’re really concerned that she’s moving way too fast with Casper. It’s not that they have anything against Casper personally, but they’re concerned about the age gap [J.Lo is 43; Casper is 25], and are worried that Jen maybe getting in over her head.
“They just focused on the fact that Jennifer has a long history of moving too quickly when it comes to her relationships ? which she can’t deny.”
Although Jennifer has been aware of her family’s concersn, she was shocked when her mom, a sister and others sat her down to have a talk.”
“It wasn’t an attack on Jennifer or even Casper ? it was more like her family stepping in and trying to talk sense into her,” says the insider.
“They know her history. She always goes from one serious relationship to the next, and they really want her to take her time with Casper.?
At first, says the insider, Jennifer was upset and defended her relationship with Casper tooth and nail. But she eventually admitted that she has a history of moving too quickly, and agreed to put a little space between Casper and herself.

Wishful thinking. While I think we?ll have a better idea of where J.Lo and Casper are as a couple after her tour, my guess is still that Casper is going to be around for a while longer. I do think Jennifer is wondering why he hasn?t proposed to her yet. I mean, they?ll have been together a year come November. It?s past time! J.Lo must always be in a state of engagement, marriage or divorce. There is no ?dating? or ?keeping things casual and low-key.?
Also ? I don?t mind tattoos on a dude (or a lady), but there?s something about Casper?s ink that grosses me out. It?s not even that it looks low-quality ? some of tattoos actually look kind of expensive and well-done. But the overall effect is just kind of gross? to me.

Jennifer Lopez covers the September issue of InStyle Mag, which just further proves my theory that this year?s trend for September issues is ?Meh, who cares?? I remember when the all magazines really tried to get interesting or unusual cover girls for their September issues. But this year has seen women like Penelope Cruz, Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga and now J.Lo take big September covers ? and no disrespect to all of those ladies, but none of them are big ?gets? for any magazine. They are ALWAYS on magazine covers. Remember when Linda Evangelista made her triumphant return on the cover of the September Vogue, after she had been MIA for years? That was more than a decade ago, and I still remember it, that?s how powerful it was. And these days, it?s just like, ?Meh, get J.Lo.? Anyway, enough bitching and moaning. Here are some excerpts from InStyle?s interview:
Jennifer on how she survives: ?I live by the mantra that God doesn’t give you anything you can’t handle. You realize that those difficult moments, the times when you feel pain, are when you do a lot of your growing. You realize: There?s no reason to be terrified of things. Either way I?m going to be OK. At this point in my life. I’ve learned I can really survive things.”
She?s going to give love another shot, always: ?The hard part is that you never stop believing in love. But that?s also the best part. You never stop believing, and you never, ever give up.?
Mom pressures: ?I feel the pressures of wanting to be a great parent and of wanting to do right by my children. Being a mom, or a dad, is the most important job there is. It doesn?t matter who you are. You have to embrace it for everything that it is.?
Her secret to success: “Finding balance … You have to know what makes you happy ? so your life is what you always dreamed it could be.”
She doesn?t give any quotes about Casper but ?he is described in the article as sitting out one of her concerts at a soundboard.?
On men: “The most important quality the man in my life should have is that he is sweet. I like the good guys.?

As much as I?d like to think that Jennifer?s refusal to discuss Casper Smart is some kind of harbinger of a potential breakup, I doubt it. Jennifer probably did this interview a few months ago, before all of the recent reports about Casper?s peep show/massage/gay cruising incident. Although the tabloids keep insisting that Casper and Jennifer will split soon, I just don?t think it will happen. Yet. Maybe I?m just trying to prepare myself for the worst. The worst = marriage.
Also: is it just me or does Jennifer sound particularly out of touch in this interview? I don?t have any problem believing she?s generally ?out of touch? with the way regular people live, but she seemed particularly ?Woe is me, my struggles are SO EPIC? in this interview. Get off the cross, J.Lo. People need the wood.

In the midst of rocky relationship reports, Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart put forth a show of solidarity with a family trip to a Calabasas, CA park on Sunday (August 5).
The former "American Idol" judge and her backup dancer beau ventured to the outdoor gathering place with Jennifer's twins, Max and Emme, with a helping hand also along for the playground playdate.
Tweeting about the fun-filled family doings, 43-year-old Miss Lopez wrote, "Enjoying the beautiful day with my coconuts at the park!! #dayoff#familia#LOVE".
The united front comes as rumors of troubled waters have surfaced following reports claiming that 25-year-old Smart recently was spied visiting an exotic massage parlor.
While Smart addressed the allegations by stating he simply got lost and walked into the wrong doorway, an E! insider tells, "They have not split yet, but it's fair to say they are cooling off a bit. The pictures have created a distance between them. Even if Casper is telling the truth, and he didn't mean to walk into the doorway, it just proves how young and immature he is."
The E! source added, "He should have been more careful. he knows he is often being followed by paparazzi."
Meanwhile, J Lo and Casper's attorneys, Howard Weitzman and Shawn Holley, blasted the tabloid tales, telling, "These statements are false, malicious and defamatory. Ms. Lopez and Mr. Smart will pursue all remedies available to them under the law."

Pushing forth with her post-Idol career, Jennifer Lopez has debuted a teaser to her newest music video, "Goin' In."
The Latino beauty dropped the clip on Monday (July 23), finding time to tweet about the short video offering in between a full day of shopping and dinner with her beau, Casper Smart.
As for J. Lo's teaser, the 43-year-old is trying to get her fans pumped ahead of the full video's mid-week release, writing, "My #GoinIn video premieres this Wednesday! Check out a sneak peek: http://bit.ly/NrLBc1 It's on my greatest hits album, out tomorrow!"

Happy birthday to Jennifer Lopez! She turns 43 years old today. Does she look 43? I don?t think she does. I think she could easily pass for mid-30s. Of course, I also think she might have gotten some slight plastic surgery a few years ago, nothing too drastic, but noticeable if you look through photos of J.Lo throughout the past decade. Anyway, these are photos of Jennifer and Casper Smart out to dinner last night in NYC. I?m guessing it was Jennifer?s pre-birthday dinner, and she made Casper put on his big-boy clothes and take her out (although she paid). Can I just say? I?m pretty much in love with Jennifer?s outfit. Those leather pants are amazing and that blouse is really cool.
Yesterday, we discussed whether Casper would propose to Jennifer on her birthday. I?m seeing a lot of beautiful rings on Jennifer?s fingers, but nothing is screaming ?engagement ring!? to me. Maybe he?ll propose tonight? I really do think she?s expecting it. An engagement would be right on schedule for her. It’s actually past due.

Treating themselves to a delicious meal, Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart hit up Pastis restaurant in New York City last night (July 22).
The ?Waiting for Tonight? songstress and her much-younger boyfriend dined together before heading over to Scoop boutique for some retail therapy.
And J. Lo had the shutterbugs? undivided attention thanks to her semi-see-through black top that gave a great view of her white bra underneath.
Coming up on Wednesday (July 25th) Jennifer will debut her brand new video ?Goin In? on MTV at 7:50pm ET followed by an exclusive 30-minute interview.

These are photos of Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart ?out to dinner? yesterday in NYC. This is how Jennifer dresses casually ? and it?s not horrible, in my opinion. I like when she does head-scarves, and I like the white jeans and flip-flops (I?m a sucker for celebrities in flip-flops). The piece that I don?t like is the t-shirt? with some kind of metal embellishments on the shoulders. It would have been cuter is she had just done a simple white t-shirt, I think. People are making a big deal about how we can see Jennifer?s bra through the t-shirt, but it happens. I don?t know if the t-shirt is really thin or if it?s just the lighting or whatever. All I know is that the ?bra? part of this doesn?t offend me. What does offend me? Yeah. Casper. As for Casper and his FACE (ugh) and his Timbs? does this boy even know how to tie his own shoes? How does he even walk without falling down?
Apparently, this outing was Jennifer and Casper enjoying their ?night off? from her tour ? in which Casper has been made the ?lead choreographer?. Jennifer and Casper spent the day shopping, then eating at Pastis, then they spent the night on a private yacht.
By the way, Jennifer?s birthday is tomorrow. Will Casper propose on her birthday? I kind of think she?s expecting it, don?t you? She probably already picked out the ring, paid for it and gave it to Casper to give back to her. I wonder how she asked to be proposed to? Privately (say, on a yacht?), or in front of a huge audience, like on stage in the middle of her show? Yes, I?m kind of expecting some news from J.Lo this week. You should prepare yourselves ? he?s going to propose at some point and she?ll say yes. Because she believes in fairy tales. For real.
