I?m not completely heartless, you know. I am cynical, but there are moments when I look at celebrity couples on the verge of splitting and think, ?Oh, come on. You could make it work! TRY HARDER.? Like, I was actually sort of happy for Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas when they seemed to work through their rough patch/separation, and they seem to have reconciled for the most part. Theirs was a marriage worth saving, for their children, for their shared history, for themselves.
But I don?t understand Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart ? how is their relationship ?worth saving?? What is keeping them together other than ?she has money and he gets an allowance?? For Jennifer, I think she?s just sticking with the relationship to save face. Like, she doesn?t want to admit to herself or the world that she?s been dating a huge loser for more than two years. But following the revelations about Casper?s ongoing affairs/sexting relationships with two transsexuals, Jennifer might have to finally (at long f?king last) pull the plug on this huge mistake.
A few months ago, Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart “hit a rough patch,” a friend says, but the singer has been trying to be supportive of him and work through their issues.
“Now,” notes the friend, “all this stuff comes out about sexting. They’re still together, technically, but no idea for how long.”
Internet reports claim that Smart, 27, a former backup dancer for Lopez and now a choreographer, has sent Instagram photos and steamy messages to somebody else. (Reps for both have not commented.)
“There were issues that pre-date these new reports,” says another source, who adds that Lopez’s mind is currently on things that go beyond rumors over her and Smart’s romance.
“She has a really busy three weeks and doesn’t have time to deal with this,” the source adds. “And she’s on the East Coast and he’s working on the West Coast.”
Indeed, Lopez, 44, is trying to stay positive and focus on work. She’s in New York for her State Farm Neighborhood Sessions concert on June 4 in the Bronx.
“She is excited about where her life is right now,” says the friend. “Her new single (“First Love”) is on fire, and her album is about to drop, and she has movies, and hit TV shows (The Fosters) that she?s producing. She couldn’t be in better shape professionally. Personally, it?s a bit more tricky.
How tricky? A second source says, “Put it this way, they were having problems before the sexting. You do the math.”

Why all the drama? Why all the build-up? Why is Jennifer?s manager (this sounds like her manager Benny Medina) dropping these quotes to People Mag? Why not just do a clean and efficient break up, for the love of God? Dear Jennifer: this relationship is not worth saving. It?s just not. Stop with the drama and just dump him.
Oh, and here?s a funny-timing story ? yesterday The Daily Mail published these photos, taken one week ago, of J.Lo and Casper on the beach together. She was sunbathing. He was? texting. Cough.

Her presence in the pop music realm is undeniable and Jennifer Lopez was honored with the Icon Award last night (May 18) at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Beginning with a video montage, the presentation included a statement from Rihanna- "You continue to break down barriers and inspire girls.? Also included were stars like Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Pitbull and Ricky Martin.
From there, Mr. Martin and Iggy Azalea handed J. Lo her trophy and she couldn?t have been more grateful.
Jennifer shared, "Oh my God! What the heck? Music has always been my first love. And I think God and I thank my fans and I thank my friends, my family, that I?ve been able to do this over these years and through ten albums.?

The Billboard Music Awards were held last night. Surprisingly, a lot of people came out. It?s weird in music these days ? the music landscape now is the complete opposite of what it was when I grew up. When I grew up, everyone came out to the MTV Music Awards because they were seen as ?more legitimate? and ?closer to what the kidz really listened to.? Nowadays, hardly anyone comes out for the MTV awards shows and everyone comes out to the standard-bearers, the corporate music awards shows, like the Grammys and the Billboard Awards. It?s weird. Anyway, Jennifer Lopez showed up in what amounted to a bathing suit and a fancy robe. This is Donna Karan. Something nice: it?s a gorgeous, rich red. And I like her hair. Something mean: I?m not saying women in their 40s need to wear burkas or anything, but Jennifer is 44 years old ? surely she?s past the ?showing up to events in my underwear? stage of life/career, right?
It?s kind of weird to me that Iggy Azalea is wearing the ?classy? version of J.Lo?s dress. Iggy wore this similar-colored Zuhair Murad gown which? it?s very old-ladyish to me. I think it?s the lace sleeves. I like Iggy a lot and I think she?s got a really great ?look? ? I kind of wish she would stop trying to be ?Fancy? (get it?) and just be herself. Also: I am obsessed with her body. Seriously. That little waist and those crazy hips and butt? She?s got a great shape.
Carrie Underwood in Oriett Domenech. WHOA. I have to give her some credit for mixing it up ? Carrie?s ?princess dress? problem is much worse than Taylor Swift?s, and I never would have thought Carrie would go for a metallic-and-acid-lime gown. I think this might be my favorite look? She?s really pulling it off.
Y?all know I love Nicki Minaj?s makeover/makeunder, which she?s been doing for the past few months. So, while I love that she?s still going for a simpler look, I don?t think this particular style is her best. The hair is too ?done? (still a vast improvement from the wiglets though) and while this Alexander McQueen gown was a god idea, it doesn?t fit her properly. We shouldn?t be seeing underboob.
No one has an ID on Kelly Rowland?s dress? she just got married, so I guess she?s showing off her newlywed glow. I can?t sign on to this dress ? it?s just a bra and a fancy skirt. Ugh.
Kesha walked her first red carpet since all of the eating disorder/rehab drama months ago. She looks good! She looks healthy. I?m not wild about the dress, but sure. I?m glad she?s getting better.
Cher Lloyd in Mikael D ? eh. This was not her stylist?s best idea. But I?m biased ? Cher?s voice gets on my last nerve.

She?s never one to miss out on a star-studded shindig, and Jennifer Lopez was the center of attention as she made her way to the 2014 Billboard Music Awards this evening (May 18).
Sporting a flattering getup, the ?On the Floor? stunner rubbed shoulders with fellow celebrities and posed up a storm with her beau Casper Smart for the paparazzi staked out around the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
With so many worthy contenders this year, it?s going to be a toss-up to see who ends up going home with the victory.
In the Top Artist category, the finalists include Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Imagine Dragons and the Queen of Twerk herself Miley Cyrus.

Jennifer Lopez has been on the publicity warpath to promote her return to American Idol as part of the “dream team” judging panel. The other members of the panel are Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr. Don’t ask me how Harry became part of the dream team. I know Keith has the personality and the Idol cred for multiple seasons, but Harry confuses me. He’s adorable, but he’s past his pop-culture prime. Correct me if I’m wrong.
JLo has gone on a tangent to talk about her brand new diet. She’s decided to go vegan, which is shocking. The vegan stance is really hardcore and rules out all animal products and byproducts from one’s diet. Most vegans even refuse to wear leather, but the emphasis with JLo is on her diet. She says she feels so much better these days, but she misses butter like crazy:

The 44-year-old singer, who was a vegetarian for a brief period some years ago, has completely changed her diet by removing all animal products in an effort to stay in shape but admits she’s missing butter.
Earlier this year Beyonce and Jay Z also decided to go vegan for 22 days, although Jennifer seems to be sticking to her diet longterm.
The star told New York radio station Z100: “Being vegan, it’s basically no diary, no meat, everything is plant based and from the ground. Butter is the one thing I miss!”
The I “Luh Ya Papi” hitmaker claims she would encourage others to go vegan and cut out meat, eggs, dairy products and other animal-derived ingredients all together, because it makes her feel good.
She said: “You do feel better. I do recommend the vegan diet because you wake up and feel great!”

There’s always that “one thing” that anyone on a special diet misses. Vegans are so restrictive, so it’s amazing that Jennifer only has one big void (butter) in her diet. Most of us would miss the eggs, the cheese, and the ice cream. I’m a vegetarian, and my “one thing” is bacon. That’s mostly because bacon was the last thing I gave up, and the world is so busy telling me how amazing bacon is. Meat eaters love to tell vegetarians what they’re missing, so I can only imagine what omnivores say to vegans. I wonder how Casper Smart feels about JLo’s new diet? We haven’t seen photos of them together in a few months.

Taking care of a media appearance, Jennifer Lopez headed to the Fox Upfronts on Monday (May 12) in New York City.
Chic in an all-white ensemble, the "American Idol" judge greeted fans as she headed inside the Edison Ballroom for the event.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Fox announced its 2014-2015 line up over the weekend.
While the network will keep favorites such as "New Girl" and "The Mindy Project," they will add new content, such as the reality experiment "Utopia."

Honored for her support of the LGBT community, Jennifer Lopez attended the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday (April 12).
The "American Idol" judge wore a knee-length sparkling blue dress as she accepted her Vanguard award from Rita Moreno.
During her acceptance speech, the 44-year-old star thanked the LGBT community for their support and opened up about her late aunt Marisa, who was gay.
Recognizing her struggles, JLo shared, "Marisa was my cool aunt. She was my mom's older sister and she lived in New York City. I lived in the Bronx and she lived in Manhattan, it was like worlds away! She wanted to be an actress and I always wanted to be like her. Marisa grew up gay in a time when it meant life could be very difficult and that her struggles were mostly kept to herself."
