Whenever I think of J.Lo’s song Jenny from the Block, the refrain gets stuck in my head and I see Ben Affleck rubbing her ass in a loop. He’s always biting his lip and looking like he’s concentrating really hard on it. I just re-watched that part of the video (at 3:20 here) and it’s not as bad as I remember, although he does kiss it. So that’s why I was reluctant to report this story that Jennifer Lopez denies that the rock she’s been wearing on her left hand is an engagement ring from Casper Smart-enough to get a $10k a week allowance. She denied it with the line “don’t be fooled by the rocks that I got,” which means I have to keep seeing Ben Affleck touching her ass, but worse than that I have to hear the song.
We’ve heard all sorts of stories that Lopez is just about to marry Smart. It’s her M.O., and US Weekly even ran a story in late April that she was about to marry Casper, was “certain she wants to be with Casper forever” and was anxious to expand her family with him. Well Jennifer says she’s not engaged, and we shouldn’t be fooled by the diamond she’s got on her left ring finger inviting speculation.
Jenny from the Block won’t be walking down the aisle any time soon.
“Rumors!!! Don’t be fooled by the rocks that I got,” Jennifer Lopez wrote on her website Friday in response to buzz boyfriend Casper Smart popped the question. “No engagement!”
After quoting her 2002 R&B hit (and posting a white-hot self-portrait without any bling on her ring finger), Lopez asked fans, “What’s the best way to stop a false rumor?”
Chatter that Lopez, 42, and Smart, 25 ? who’ve been romantically linked since last November ? were taking the next step first heated up in March, when a fake Tweet from fashion designer Roberto Cavalli seemed to suggest the two were engaged. (A source close to Lopez then confirmed to PEOPLE that the reports were false.)
Since then, Lopez has been photographed stepping out with a questionable ring on her finger.
But rumors aside, it appears to be a lasting sweet romance for the couple, who shared candy (and some cozy moments) last weekend in Las Vegas.

So she’s not engaged, but she is letting Casper sabotage her career by sitting in on really important business meetings he should have no access to as her boy toy. Maybe this means her people are starting to get through to her, and are telling her she better not make herself a laughing stock by making Casper any more legitimate than she already has. Or maybe she’s starting to wake up to the reality that this is a fling with a much younger guy, and that it would be supremely stupid to marry him, although I doubt it. Hell she might just be engaged and the people running her website are doing damage control. It’s not like she even retweeted this.

Taking a break from shooting her latest video, Jennifer Lopez was spotted on a Los Angeles, CA set on Friday afternoon (June 1).
The gorgeous Latina looked beautiful in sporty attire that included high top sneakers and sparkling silver pants as she was seen walking around set and enjoying time with her two important visitors, her daughter Emme and boyfriend Casper Smart.
Keeping busy with her ever-hectic schedule, the 42-year-old star is also preparing for her new world tour and it seems that its no easy task as she took to her Twitter page writing, "Hey LOVE!RS...countdown to #DANCEAGAINtour Rehearsals everyday!!! Its #GoTime."
The highly anticipated tour will feature the "American Idol" judge as well as Enrique Iglesias headlining the second act along with Wisin & Yandel as an opening performance.
The tour kicks off on its South American leg on June 14 in Panama and will also include Jennifer's first time performance in the middle east in Dubai, India.

It’s kind of insane how Jennifer Lopez, one of the richest and most powerful women in show business (thanks in no small part to Idol) is jeopardizing her career with her new relationship. Her longterm manager, Benny Medina, even called her out on it publicly. Medina told Vogue a few weeks ago, in part, that she lets “obsessive guys pursue her” and that “The ease with which that obsession becomes a relationship I think sometimes works against her ability to have a real meaningful relationship.”
We’ve already heard that Lopez has pitched and sold a reality show for Casper to the Oxygen Network. We’ve also heard that Casper is giving Jennifer business advice, against the wishes of Medina and her other advisers, including telling her to ditch her plum Idol gig and focus on other endeavors. The National Enquirer, which has run several insider stories on this relationship, claims that Lopez went so far as to let Casper attend a meeting with Idol executives, which he f’ed up for her royally. It’s not a done deal that Lopez is off Idol, it still seems to be up in the air officially, although we’ve heard rumors for weeks about it. Lots of new photos of Jennifer Lopez over the weekend! She performed in Las Vegas at the Mandalay, and she also had a launch party for her latest single, ?Goin? In? at the Bellagio. She brought Casper to the single launch, and shockingly, Casper did not wear some kind of eyeglasses to detract from his face. Usually, that boy doesn?t go anywhere without glasses. Meanwhile, Jennifer wore this tight little minidress that I don?t hate. I like the design a lot, actually. My only problem is that it?s WAY too mini. How was Jennifer not flashing her biscuits all over Vegas in this dress?
As for Jennifer?s Saturday concert – her ex-husband showed up. On stage!
Who says exes can’t stay friends? Though they’ve split, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony stood hand in hand as the crowd cheered for their Q’Viva! The Chosen show in Las Vegas Saturday. The cheers were even louder as they embraced on stage to finish off their live show.
The duo has, for the most part, shown solidarity during Q’Viva!, which began as a reality series in which the pair traveled the Latin world alongside executive producer and co-host Jamie King, searching for talent. The resulting live variety show seemed to delight the roaring crowd of 8,400 Saturday.
The loudest cheers, of course, came for Lopez and Anthony, who performed separately on stage.
Lopez’s evening, however, didn’t end there as she headed to Hyde Nightclub following the show. Joined by boyfriend Casper Smart, Lopez danced on an elevated catwalk in a VIP area as the deejay played her songs.
The couple kept their affections at bay, dancing near each other, but not necessarily together, in front of clubgoers. As Smart danced seductively, Lopez could be seen watching her man, as well as waving to fans who were excited to see her.
Dressed in an off-white form fitting dress, Lopez finally left the club around 3 a.m. after dancing the night away.

For my money, the Jennifer-Marc thing is like the gender-reversed Demi Moore-Ashton Kutcher thing. While I think Demi would be all over a reconciliation and Ashton is all ?Ah, NO,? on the other side I think Marc would be all over reconciling with J.Lo and Jennifer is the one pulling back. So? does it seem kind of like Jennifer is leading Marc on? Or do they just get along, and they?re fine supporting each other?s careers and all of that stuff? I don?t know. I tend to think Marc is trying to figure out a way to get Casper Smart out of the picture.
As for Jennifer?s concert costumes? well, let?s just be thankful that she?s done with those awful pleather catsuits.

Doing her best to draw attention to her newly-released music, Jennifer Lopez held a party in honor of the launch of her latest single in Las Vegas on Saturday night (May 26).
The 42-year-old superstar looked fetching in a long-sleeved, white mini dress with golden floral designs as she was joined at the Hyde Bellagio Resort and Casino "Goin' In" soiree by her backup dancer beau, Casper Smart.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Lopez worked with producer GoonRock on the track, resulting in a song that's certainly to be heavily mixed into the rotation at dance clubs around the globe.
With audio of the track found below, a sample of the lyrics finds J. Lo singing out, ?Tonight feels like we can do anything we like / Tonight feels like the best night of my life / I?m goin? in.?
As for her always-busy career, the "On The Floor" hitmaker just wrapped up another season of "American Idol" while now set to embark on an ambitious tour beginning in Panama City on June 14th.
One month later, Jennifer will be starting up her North American dates in Montreal, Canada on July 14th - for which she's joining up with co-headliner Enrique Iglesias through the closing night in Miami, Florida on August 31st.

A week ago, everyone was all up in arms because it looked like Jennifer Lopez was going to leave American Idol high and dry after two successful seasons. Idol relaunched J.Lo?s career, and my interpretation of the situation was A) J.Lo was rude to leave Idol especially if producers really wanted her back and B) Casper Smart was probably involved in Jennifer?s decision. Well, Jennifer ended up pulling back a little publicly, and saying that she hadn?t really made up her mind as to whether she would return. But In Touch Weekly now says it?s a done deal – Jennifer is leaving, and Casper is behind it. And Jennifer?s advisors are pissed off.
In Touch Weekly has learned that in an effort to keep 25-year-old Casper Smart happy, Jennifer Lopez is about to undo the smartest career decision she ever made – and give up her job as an American Idol judge.
Jealous of all the time she was spending away from home – and with cute Idols like Phillip Phillips – Casper urged her to quit the plum gig and focus on their relationship instead. And remarkably, J.Lo is listening. Although Jennifer tweeted on may 17 that she hadn?t ?decided what I am doing next year,? sources tell In Touch that the star has already informed Idol brass that she won?t be coming back next season.
?Casper would love it she would just chill out and travel with him,? explains a friend, adding that as ambitious as she is, J.Lo has also been overwhelmed – and he picked up on that. ?She had her relationsip, music, movies, Idol and being a good mom,? the friend shares. ?She loved being on Idol, but something had to give, so she took Casper?s advice.?
J.Lo?s closest advisers wish she hadn?t. most recall her career was in a lull before her Idol-inspired comeback.
?If anything should go, it should be Casper,? huffs the friend, who marvels at the increasingly important role Smart is playing in Jennifer?s life. ?Everyone is annoyed that Jennifer is taking business advice from Casper.?
Jennifer?s friends worry that Jennifer has fallen too hard, too fast for Casper, and she barely knows him. An insider observes, ?She?s a fool for love.?

I love ?If anything should go, it should be Casper.? If only. If only Jennifer would do a cold, hard appraisal of her life, professional and personal, and decide to cut out the dead weight. Unfortunately, as I?m beginning to realize, Jennifer is kind of an idiot. She?s not just dumb in love – her love idiocy extends to her professional world because she keeps promoting her boy-toy and making him part of her industry. And now they?re going to do a reality show together too – so Jennifer totally has time to do a reality show with Casper, but not enough time for Idol, which pays her millions of dollars a year and relaunched her career.
The Enquirer also has a Jennifer story – this one all about how Jennifer and her mother Guadalupe are fighting over how to raise J.Lo?s twins. Lupe wants the twins to stay home in LA while Jennifer tours over the summer, but Jennifer wants to bring the twins (plus nannies) on tour with her. Marc Anthony agrees with Lupe, and it?s raising a lot of custodial issues (because Jennifer will have to take the kids out of state). Blah – it?s a boring story. Suffice to say, sources claim ?Jennifer always wins out in the end? so the babies are going on tour, I?m sure.

Riding Jennifer Lopez’s coattails has really paid off. Not only did Casper Smart get promoted to lead choreographer on Lopez’s tour, but J.Lo just sold a reality show based on him to Oxygen. All he had to do is have sex with her which isn’t the worst thing in the world. The nagging afterward probably is though.
The show will follow Smart as he trains his backup dancers for their upcoming tour and will focus only on Smart and Lopez’s professional relationship. Which is probably just like their personal one anyway. Do this, do that, wear this while I parade you around the red carpet in front of Marc Anthony, stop talking, you’re not attractive when you talk and so on and so forth.

Here is an honest-to-God question: how dumb is Jennifer Lopez? Honestly, I always thought she was probably pretty smart, at least with her business interests and with how she presents herself to the public. But I think Jennifer is really dumb in other ways – she surrounds herself with sycophants and yes men (exception: Benny Medina) and God knows, she has HORRIBLE taste in men. So at what point can we actually say ?Wow, Jennifer Lopez is not all that bright??
As you probably know, Jennifer is currently loved up with Facial Challenge (Casper Smart). Casper is 25 – Jennifer will be 43 in July. It?s actually not the disparity in ages that bothers me. It?s the disparity in the careers, their life stories, their goals, their ambitions, their money-making prospects. Casper is a backup dancer who just hit the jackpot – Jennifer gives him an allowance just for being with her, and Jennifer has allowed Casper to ?choreograph? and ?direct? some of videos, performances, etc for her latest singles. With Jennifer?s new tour this summer, Casper has been telling people that he?s been promoted to ?lead choreographer? of the tour (although most of the professionals working on the tour say that he?s only one of several choreographers). Well, what did J.Lo buy her boy-toy this week? What new job title does Casper-Wasper get? Who?s a good boy? WHO?S A GOOD BOY?
Casper Smart is capitalizing on his relationship with Jennifer Lopez. After he was promoted to be one of the choreographers on Lopez?s tour, we hear J.Lo just sold a reality show to Oxygen based on Smart.
Sources say it will follow Smart as he whips her other backup dancers into shape for the tour. The show is expected to focus solely on Smart and Lopez?s professional relationship.
It has already been picked up as a series. An Oxygen rep had no comment.

My first thought was ?Wow, that will be so embarrassing if they break up before the show even airs. Classic J.Lo.? But really, I?m not even saying that they?ll break up any time soon. First comes the allowance, then comes the job title, then comes the reality show. And then comes marriage. Because Jennifer really is that dumb.

Looking to spruce up their wardrobes, Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart were spotted doing some retail therapy at The Grove in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (May 20).
The ?Waiting for Tonight? songstress and her hunky boyfriend hit up the Zara boutique and emerged with several full shopping bags a short time later.
Over the weekend, J. Lo?s new movie ?What To Expect When You?re Expecting? hit theaters to a disappointing $10.5 million in sales.
Still, Lopez was in good spirits Saturday night, tweeting, ?Goodnight LOVE!RS!!!!! Hope you have sweet dreams and a beautiful Sunday. xxoo?

These are some new photos of Jennifer Lopez and Facial Challenge shopping at The Grove in LA over the weekend. I?m not going to get all bitchy about Jennifer?s outfit, mostly because I think she and Casper were enjoying a low-key moment and I absolutely believe that celebrities do not have to be ?ON? all the time. That being said, Jennifer knew she and Casper would be photographed, and she chose this ?casual? outfit specifically with that in mind – look at the way she put together her whole ?look?. The jumpsuit is just terrible, isn?t it? Hammer-pants are not flattering on anyone, but they?re especially awful on a woman with a curvier figure. Think about this – how much cuter would this have been if Jennifer had worn a maxi dress?
Another (minor) irritation – I don?t like Jennifer and Casper Smart?s body language. It feels like she walks behind him a lot, like he?s leading her around. Part of it chivalry, sure – he holds the door for her, he opens her car door, he puts her purchases in the trunk and he drives them away in her car. I would make a joke about how he acts like her assistant, but honestly, it feels more like ?This is my lady, I?m going to take care of her.? It bugs me because? well, Jennifer is a huge star and Facial Challenge is just some dumb kid. They?re not equals in any sense.
By the way, I still don?t know for sure if Jennifer is leaving American Idol. Last week, it was widely reported that she was seriously considering leaving of her own volition because she?s just too busy now. There were also rumors that she was being pushed out by producers, and there were other rumors that this was all a big ploy by Camp Lopez to get even more money. I do know that it?s looking more and more like producers really want to keep her, so they?ll probably offer her a crazy amount of money? and then we?ll see.
