Jessica Simpson (new name: Jessica Johnson) and Eric Johnson are back from their honeymoon. It was a pretty short one ? I think they only went away for a week and I?m pretty sure they left Ace and Maxi with Jessica?s mom (or maybe her dad). Because unlike Kim Kardashian and Kanye, I think Jessica and Eric actually enjoy being parents and don?t like to leave their kids for lengthy periods of time. That being said, Jessica is pretty firm on not wanting another baby. At least not right away.
Jessica was posting pics on her Instagram and she regrammed a photo of one of her friend?s babies, writing: ?I love you Jack, but I do not want another!!? This is just the latest hint that she?s dropped that she?s probably done with the whole baby thing, at least for now. I don?t blame her at all ? Maxi and Ace are Irish Twins, and they look like they?re nearly the same age anyway. Her body needs a ?rest? before she even thinks about having another kid. That being said, she?s only 34 years old. She has some time if she wants to have another kid. Plus, I think that Jessica is probably a Fertile Myrtle (do people still say that?).
Jessica did write for one of these IG pics: “I love this man, our marriage, and everything in between.? Well? I hope she?s happy. Really, I do. I think Eric is a bit of a K-Fed, but he seems like a hands-on father and they do seem to enjoy each other. Let?s hope it lasts, people.

Clearly enjoying her newly married status, Jessica Simpson shared a sweet snap shot with her husband Eric Johnson over the weekend.
The 34-year-old posted pictures to her Instagram account from the pair's honeymoon at the Four Seasons Punta Mita Resort in Mexico. Jess followed up the photos with the caption, "I love this man, our marriage, and everything in between."
Jess and Eric shared their vows in a ?Great Expectations? themed gathering on July 5 at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California with 275 guests.
This is the second marriage for both. They share two children together, son Ace Knute and daughter Maxwell Drew.

This week?s Star Mag has a story about Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson?s wedding, some of which we?ve already heard before. But there were some new details that I thought were interesting. A little backstory: yesterday I wrote about Joe Simpson and his young boy-toy, who was pretty much Joe?s ?date? to the wedding. The boy-toy is 21-years-old and this is not the same young hustler that Joe (allegedly!) had an affair with a few years ago. This is a newish kid. And Joe is his ?manager.? Yeah. Anyway, as it turns out, Jessica asked Joe to organize a lot of the wedding plans, and it totally upset Tina. Poor Tina.
Jessica Simpson?s wedding may have seemed like a harmonious family affair, with Joe officiating, mom Tina walking her down the aisle, son Ace as ring-bearer and daughter Maxwell as a flower girl and her sister Ashlee as one of her 14 [editor?s note: 14!!!!!] bridesmaids, but it was anything but. In the days before the ceremony, it looked fights between Tina and Joe ? as well as a dispute between Jessica and Eric ? came close to unraveling the event.
?Jessica had warned her parents that they had to get along and not embarrass her at the wedding. But Tina made it clear to everyone, she was furious that Jessica chose her father to organize the three-day event.?
The source says Tina complained about everything from the food to the venue. ?Jessica had finally had it and told her mother that it was her wedding and to stop moaning,? the friend said. And Joe added to the drama when he seemed to be enjoying that his ex was causing problems.
?Joe knows full well that Jessica favors him over her mom and he plays that up a little to get back at Tina for how he feels she treated him after the divorce.?
In addition to her parents? fights, Jessica and Eric fought over the prenup, says an insider. They threw out two previous prenups after canceled wedding plans following both of Jessica?s pregnancies.
?This time, Eric wanted a more favorable agreement because he takes care of their kids and has given up his career. But Jessica has seen what a disaster her parents? marriage turned into and really wanted to protect herself. They finally agreed shortly before the wedding.?

First of all, I hope Tina got good and drunk. Like, I hope she got completely hammered at the reception because chica deserves all the mojitos. It?s not enough that she and Joe had a bad divorce, but he gets to officiate their daughter?s wedding like he?s still Mr. High and Mighty? And he gets to bring his 21-year-old boy-toy? Yes, bring Tina all of the cocktails. Poor Tina.
As for the prenup stuff? I don?t know. It?s interesting. Bless her heart, I?d be willing to believe that Jessica didn?t even care about the prenup. She thinks Eric is The One. And maybe he is, I don?t know. But the prenup sounds more like Joe than Jessica.

We?ve been inundated with details from Jessica Simpson?s weekend wedding, and no surprise, she got this week?s People Magazine cover. People bought her exclusive wedding photos, God knows for how much. My guess? Somewhere in the $300,000 area. And for that price, People got the photos and an exclusive interview. How old-school. Also: thoughts on the dress, now that we?re getting a better look at it? It?s pretty, but it doesn?t seem very wedding-y to me. It?s more of an Oscar dress.
For their romantic July 5 nuptials, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson focused on one thing.
“It’s all about family for us,” Simpson tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story, in which the newlyweds talk about their favorite wedding memories for the first time ? and share 27 exclusive photos.
So for the big day, the bride asked her mom, Tina, and her sister, Ashlee, to be her maids of honor. Johnson’s father, Stephen, stepped in as best man, while Ashlee’s fianc, Evan Ross, was one of 11 groomsmen. (Simpson had 12 bridesmaids!)
Plus, the pair exchanged traditional vows during a nondenominational ceremony officiated by Simpson’s dad, Joe. But it was their kids ? 2-year-old flower girl Maxwell and 1-year-old ring bearer Ace ? who stole the show.
“Before I walked out, I kept hearing all the applause, so my kids got standing ovations!” says the proud mom, 33.
By the time Simpson made her entrance, however, a hush fell over the 275 guests gathered at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, and there were audible gasps as people caught a glimpse of the bride in her stunning Carolina Herrera wedding gown.
“I saw my gorgeous wife coming towards me and she was crying,” says Johnson, 34, who wore a custom charcoal gray John Varvatos tuxedo. “I think my heart was exploding a little bit.”
Simpson felt the same way throughout her wedding day: “It’s so surreal. This has been something we’ve wanted ever since we met.”

That?s cute about the kids. I?ve read that Ashlee?s son was also part of the wedding party, like he walked with Maxi or something. My least favorite part about this whole thing? That Eric didn’t shave his scruffy beard. It looks gross to me. And you know I love a good beard!
Additional Jessica stories? Us Weekly says that Jessica ?did a vegan diet for about two weeks leading up to the wedding? so she could fit into the dress. She also ?got quite a few B12 shots? and had ?sugar dermabrasion on her face.? We?re a long way from Texas, aren?t we? Meanwhile, Page Six tried to tally up the costs of the wedding and the pre-wedding BBQ, all of which easily came in around $2 million it sounds like. As far as celebrity weddings go, I think Jessica?s wedding was probably pretty nice and not all that uptight. Like, I would have loved to be a guest at Jessica?s wedding just for the food alone.

As I said yesterday, People Magazine already made a deal with Jessica Simpson for her wedding photos. They got an exclusive statement from her as soon as she and Eric Johnson got married, and they also got exclusive details and slow leak of wedding photos. This is the first released photo, courtesy of People?s Instagram. You can see more of the photo on People?s site here. Her Carolina Herrera wedding gown is strapless and maybe off-white, or a yellow-y cream with beading on the bust and probably on the rest of the bodice too. I like the simplicity of her veil and her earrings, but I hate her hair!
When Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson exchanged I Dos in front of their friends and family on July 5, the couple told PEOPLE it was “the happiest moment of our lives.” For Simpson, who turns 34 on July 10, it proved be one of the most beautiful moments as well. As seen in PEOPLE’s photo exclusive, the bride chose a wedding day look that was “sexy, easy and ethereal,” says Simpson’s hair stylist Roque Jimenez. “Nothing too contrived.”
To complement her stunning custom Carolina Herrera gown and veil, Simpson’s makeup artist Karan Mitchell chose a romantic palette for her makeup. And to add some simple sparkle, Simpson’s longtime friend and stylist Nicole Chavez added Neil Lane diamond earrings.
“It was a labor of love,” says Chavez of putting together Simpson’s wedding day look.
Same could be said for the event itself. “The whole weekend was magical for us,” Simpson tells PEOPLE. “We feel complete.”

Papa Joe Simpson officiated the wedding, although there?s no word if Joe brought a young boy-toy boyfriend as a date. About 250 people came to the wedding, including Topher Grace (???), Donald Faison, Jessica Alba and more. Ace was the ring-bearer and Maxi was the flower girl. Eric cried when he recited his vows and Jessica got so flustered that she mixed up her name during her vows, so she had to start again. Jessica also gave all of her guests special wedding gifts ? rose totes filled with items she designed, plus food (which is awesome).

Trying to spice things up, Jessica Simpson snapped a sexy photo and posted it onto her Instagram account over the weekend.
In addition to the sultry photo, the blonde beauty shared a caption revealing that she was posing for fianc Eric Johnson. The betrothed couple started dating four years ago and share two children together.
Eric and Jessica will most likely tie the knot in Santa Barbara at the Bacara Resort & Spa. According to sources, the ?Dukes of Hazard? actress will throw a BBQ rehearsal dinner for wedding guests and tie the knot 4th of July weekend.
Meanwhile, Jess shared a second social media post showing off her newly toned frame. In the image, Miss Simpson rocks a little black dress, revealing her toned tummy, legs and arms.

First of all, is it wrong to love Jessica Simpson?s fancy sweatpants and matching sweat-blouse? If it?s wrong, I don?t want to be right. I think that looks so comfortable. I would totally wear that to ?work? (work for me = stumbling to the computer to write about sweatpants and bangs). Second of all, is it wrong to think that Jessica Simpson is looking a little bit Kate Bosworth-esque in the face? It?s something about the lips, the pout, the newly rediscovered cheekbones. Very Bos.
Anyway, these are some newish photos of Jessica from earlier this week. Jessica just celebrated her bachelorette party a few days ago. Apparently, she and Eric Johnson did a co-ed, joint bachelorette-bachelor party with all of their friends and family, which just sounds like a plain old engagement party, but sure. Last I heard, Jessica and Eric were planning on marrying over the Fourth of July, somewhere in there. In LA.
Meanwhile, Star Mag has a story this week about how Jessica might be knocked up again. Sources say:
?Jessica has been working so hard to get her body back, but she loves the idea of a big family. Another baby wouldn?t be a shock?. Now that she knows getting back to her pre-baby weight is possible, she thinks she?ll be able to handle pregnancy pounds better. And now that Ace is getting bigger, she?s starting to miss holding a little baby. She and Eric are definitely not done expanding their family.?

It wouldn?t surprise me either, but that?s because I remember clearly how Jessica got knocked up a second time two seconds after she gave birth to Maxwell, possibly as a way to avoid going on a diet. That being said, I feel like Jessica and Kim Kardashian are sort of in the same boat nowadays: they?ve done all of this work to take off the baby weight and they?re in no rush to undue all of the work by getting knocked up right away. That being said, in Jessica?s case, she probably will have another kid. I bet she gets pregnant again before Kim.

Jetting back into SoCal, Jessica Simpson showed up at LAX International Airport on Wednesday evening (June 11).
The ?Fashion Star? hottie was joined by a female friend and looked comfortable chic in an off-the-shoulder grey sweatshirt with matching sweatpants and white heels.
Meanwhile, Jessica?s sister Ashlee told Us Weekly that she?s thrilled about her big sister?s forthcoming wedding, said to be over the July 4th weekend.
Ashlee gushed, "I don't know when it is! I'm really excited about it. My dress is really beautiful! It's really, really stunning.?
