She?s been on a long road to recovery since contracting malaria last month, and yesterday (July 28) Cheryl Cole was spotted out in Surrey, England.
The ?X Factor? babe looked to be in good spirits as she hit up her local Starbucks coffeehouse for a gourmet beverage.
Cheryl?s cohort Simon Cowell told press he?s hopeful for her recovery and has been enjoying text messages from her.
?I've had a few text messages from her over the last few days. It was serious and she was ill - we didn't realize how ill. But judging by the text messages I've had, she is definitely looking forward to getting back to work.?
?I think our job is to make sure she doesn't come back too quick because I think she's bored out of her mind and going crazy. The texts are getting increasingly feisty so she's on the mend!?

Continuing to be nursed back to health after being rushed to the hospital last Sunday, Cheryl Cole has moved from intensive care to a private clinic.
The ?X-Factor? judge was struck with malaria and was reportedly suffering from fluid on her lungs among other complications.
Fortunately, it sounds as if she is on the mend as the 27-year-old was dismissed from the Tropical Diseases specialist unit at University College Hospital in central London.
Although she is in recovery, it remains extremely unlikely Ms Cole will be able to return as an ?X Factor? judge in time for the boot camp section of the ITV talent show which takes place later this month.

She?s been laid up in the hospital with malaria, and now it seems Cheryl Cole is dealing with an even more serious medical condition.
The Girls Aloud babe is reportedly suffering from fluid on her lungs, and along with her malaria complications that could spell trouble.
A hospital source told press, ?I?ve seen Cheryl?s mum and Derek [Hough] in there. They stayed overnight last night. I overheard Derek on his phone saying she's got fluid on her lungs.?
And a friend of Cole added, ?She has got fluid on the lungs. She's not good, no. She's still in intensive care so it doesn't look like she'll be out of hospital for a while yet.?
Hough is said to be really upset about the whole ordeal. A pal shared, ?Derek feels it's all his fault. He organized the holiday [to Tanzania where Cheryl contracted malaria] as something wonderful. For it to end up like this is terrible. He feels dreadful.?

She recently contracted malaria during her trip to Tanzania, and Cheryl Cole is currently hospitalized as she recovers from the disease.
The ?X Factor? babe traveled to the African country with her good friend Derek Hough of ?Dancing with the Stars,? however when she collapsed during a photo shoot on Saturday, Ms. Cole was rushed to the emergency room.
Cheryl was first thought to be suffering from exhaustion, but her fever and other symptoms led doctors to discover she had malaria.
Cole?s rep told press, ?Cheryl Cole is currently in hospital, being treated for malaria. Following doctors? advice she will be cancelling all work commitments for the next week.???

Back out for another day of work obligations, Cheryl Cole made her grand arrival at the "X Factor" auditions at Croke Park in Ireland on Monday (June 28).
The former Girls Aloud singer received quite the warm ovation as she greeted fans and posed for pictures before heading inside to listen to the latest round of "X Factor" hopefuls.
Meanwhile, it sounds as if Cheryl will soon be trying her hand in Hollywood - as she's getting help with a meetup with Robert DeNiro via rap star turned actor 50 cent.
Of his hopes that she gets a fair shakje in Tinseltown, Fifty told press, ?I would love to get Cheryl involved in the movies. She is the queen of the music world at the moment and she can be the queen of Hollywood if that?s what she wants."

Fresh from an air-lift in, Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh were spotted arriving at the ExCel Center in London, England on Wednesday (June 23).
The ?X Factor? judges were all smiles as they graciously waved to their fans before heading inside to watch the auditions. At one point, however, Simon tripped over some equipment and almost fell face first to the ground. Luckily, he caught himself just in time.
