Stepping out to tend to the day's errands, Halle Berry was spotted shopping in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (July 1).
Sporting a bright red t-shirt reading "You Are Here," the Oscar winning actress glanced at paparazzi after grabbing up a few items at a local Petco.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Miss Berry is readying to travel to South Africa in the near future to work on a new movie called "Dark Tide".
Taking ex-beau Gabriel Aubry along so that daughter Nahla is able to make the trip, a source tells that the pair are handling their separation with the utmost civility.
The insider dishes, "Halle and Gabriel are being civil and making it work purely for the sake of Nahla. Gabriel is moving to South Africa because they couldn't work out who should have custody of Nahla while Halle was working there."
The source adds, "In the end they decided it would work best if Gabriel went with her and then they could both be with Nahla. There's no chance of them getting back together though, it is definitely over between them. All they are concerned about now is the welfare of their daughter. They both love her more than anything and will do all they can to keep her happy."

Accompanied by a bodyguard, the Oscar winning actress looked cute and casual in torn jeans, flip flops and a black shirt as she made her way in a family service center.
On Friday, Ms Berry made a stop at Aahs! Gift Store in West Hollywood and even took the time to happily pose with an adoring fan.
Meanwhile, Halle?s ex-flame and baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry, and their adorable daughter Nahla spent some time at a playground in Beverly Hills.

The ?Perfect Stranger? actress looked cute in gray workout pants and a Pink tank and happily posed for a picture with one lucky fan outside the shop.
Meanwhile, Ms Berry?s ex, Gabriel Aubry, and their little girl Nahla were spotted doing some father daughter bonding at a playground in Beverly Hills, CA.
On the career front for Halle, she?s got over a handful of films in the making with the closest one called ?Dark Tide? coming out in 2011.

In career news, Halle is being pursued by ?Run Lola Run? director Tom Tykwer for a role in his new adaption of David Mitchell?s novel ?Cloud Atlas.?
Tom Hanks is also on the wish list, as are Natalie Portman, Ian McKellen, and James McAvoy. Shooting could start as early as Spring 2011.

Halle and Gabriel took Nahla to the Disneyland Parade where tons of fans and paparazzi were excited to see them together as a family.
They also enjoyed the amusement park?s kiddie rides before taking a break and munching on some tasty snacks.

Decked out in sporty fitness gear, the Oscar-winning actress meandered about to visit Malibu Colony Company as she tended to her retail needs.
The outing comes just one day after Miss Berry was awarded Fragrance of the Year honors at the FiFi Awards for her Halle by Halle Berry scent from Coty.
Meanwhile, Miss Berry is also rumored to be gracing the cover of Vogue?s coveted September issue - which would make her the first African-American woman to land the issue?s cover since Naomi Campbell in 1989.
