He sure has been raking in the sky miles as of late, and Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted making a stop at ?Live With Regis and Kelly? in New York City on Wednesday (May 26).
The 29-year-old actor looked rather suave in a suit and sunglasses as he happily smiled for on-hand media before heading inside to the studio.
Explaining how he was able to master a British accent for the highly-anticipated upcoming film, ?Prince of Persia,? Jake told USA Today, "I decided to speak with a British accent from the moment I got out of the car in the morning throughout the entire day until the moment I got back in the car."
"It felt weird," he added. "But the thing with anything is getting over the embarrassment of it. Probably if you walked around naked enough, it wouldn't be embarrassing. That's what it felt like for a while."

Hot on the promotional trail, Jake Gyllenhaal was keeping busy in in Toronto, Canada on Tuesday afternoon (May 25).
The hunky actor smiled and waved as he arrived at MTV Canada to promote his new film, "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time".
The press outing comes amidst tabloid rumors that Jake got hot and heavy with actress Isabel Lucas in Montreal earlier this month.
Enjoying a night out at GoGo Lounge, a National Enquirer source tells, ?Talk about a close encounter of the hottest kind ? Jake and Isabel were all over each other!?
The insider adds, ?And she was definitely the aggressor. Jake actually looked a little uneasy when Isabel did a mock lap dance ? then suddenly shoved him off his chair and under their table, obviously wanting a little privacy while she worked her magic. They cooled for a bit, but you could see the heat rising. After a while, Jake helped Isabel to her feet and they left, looking like they needed a little more privacy than their table could provide.?

Continuing to fulfill his promotional duties, Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted heading in to sit down with David Letterman in New York City on Monday (May 24).
The hunky actor looked super hot in a suit paired with some Ray Ban aviators as he posed for pictures ahead of his appearance on the late show at the Ed Sullivan Theater.
Mr Gyllenhaal has been busy promoting his upcoming film, ?Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time? in which Jake stars an orphan boy rescued off the streets by a king and becomes a great warrior.
Earlier this morning, Jake made an appearance on ?Good Morning America? and revealed a few thoughts on the role. He told, ?I am an active person in my daily life and so naturally I loved training for this movie and I loved doing the stunts.?
?Prince of Persia? hits theaters on this Friday, May 28th.

The ?Brothers? stud looked handsome in a grey suit as he waved to fans before heading inside for his interview.
Jake has been hot on the promotional trail ahead of this Friday?s release of his new action adventure flick ?Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.?
Co-star Gemma Arterton told press, ?We took the p**s out of each other. I used to say, ?Stop wearing sunglasses indoors,? and he?d say, ?You little commoner.? I like that. I don?t like it when it?s serious. Often you go on film sets and you just meet the person that day in make-up, then you have to kiss them and it?s weird.?

Continuing their worldwide press tour, Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton teamed up on the red carpet in Moscow, Russia on Tuesday (May 11).
The lovely co-stars walked along arm-in-arm as they did their best to drum up interest in their new movie, "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time".
Being quite the action packed film, Miss Arterton recently spoke of the rigors of readying for such an intense role.
The brunette beauty tells, ?I was in the gym six days a week. I really did have to work hard to look like I do in the film. It doesn?t come naturally. Then it also took me three hours in make-up to look like that.?
"Prince of Persia: The Snads of Time" hits theaters in Russia on May 27th, with the film being released in the States the following day.

Doing some overseas promotion, Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton were spotted at the London premiere of ?Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time? yesterday (May 9).
Joined by executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer, the ?Donnie Darko? stud and the ?Clash of the Titans? chick looked hot as they posed outside the Vue Westfield.
Following the big premiere, Jake headed over to the Home House nearby for a swanky after party with industry bigwigs.
?Prince of Persia? is about a street urchin in Persia who is adopted by the king as his heir following a courageous battle.

Last night was the big London premiere of The Prince of Persia, so Jake Gyllenhaal had to spend his Mother?s Day abroad. Since he?s so close to his parents, I?d imagine that killed him a little. Anyway, Jake looked very nice and not too orange, as opposed to his recent tan-tastic appearance on GQ. The British girls were all over him, too, especially his British costar Gemma Arterton. Arterton was wearing a big, beautiful ball gown that I like, but I would like better for an awards ceremony rather than a premiere. Still, pretty.
Jake gave a bunch of self-deprecating statements on the red carpet, so read into these what you will. Regarding his bulked-up body, Jake said: “My shoulders got so big that sometimes I couldn’t reach to grab things.” Regarding his shoulder-length hair for the film - which wasn?t a wig or a weave - Jake said: ?It took me six months to grow it, which was the hardest part of it all. It was harder to grow the hair than do the accent or to swordfight. It’s almost harder than acting! It was shampoo and conditioner - not a two-in-one - because the physique was developed by vigorous scrubbing and rubbing of the scalp with shampoo. That really worked the bicep area and if you really focus on the core while you are doing it, your abs get totally ripped up.?
Gemma Arterton, meanwhile, outed Jake as a man afraid of ostriches, which are in the film: ?Jake is scared of ostriches. He ran away and the look on his face is not acting, it’s real!”
By the way, I saw this dude?s photo at the premiere, and I just had to put it up. His name is David Gandy and isn?t he just the prettiest thing you?ve ever seen? According to Wikipedia, he?s a British model, not an actor. Sigh?

The ?Day After Tomorrow? actor looked dapper in a pale blue suit as he hopped into a chauffeured car and was driven to the Dorchester Hotel to promote ?Prince of Persia.?
In a recent interview, Jake said he hopes ?Prince of Persia? helps him attain a less serious persona in the entertainment industry.
"I think about kids saying 'you're the Prince of Persia!' That I wouldn't mind being locked into. I wanted to fulfill the dreams of those movies I loved watching, like Robin Hood with Errol Flynn. Who knows in two or three years time what other weird thing I'll do?"
