Much like George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio suffers for his art. Clooney famously injured his back nearly a decade ago while filming Syriana, and Clooney has said in interviews that even after multiple surgeries, he still lives in pain. Now the tabloids are trying to make it sound like Leonardo is going through the same thing. I still haven?t seen Wolf of Wall Street, so I don?t know if this is a SPOILER or not, but apparently in one scene, Leo falls down a flight of stone steps. Marty Scorsese made Leo film the scene ? with Leo doing his own stunt work ? multiple times. And now Leo?s back is in such bad shape, he can?t bang supermodels! OH NOES.
The Wolf of Wall Street has been a boon for Leonardo DiCaprio?s career but bad news for his body and sex life! Leo spent a week shooting a scene in which his character tumbles down stone steps while high on Quaaludes and is now suffering severe back pain.
?He says he?s in nonstop pain and has gained weight because he can?t exercise,? reveals a source.
Even worse, the injury is affecting Leo?s favorite hobby: bedding supermodels!
?It hurts to lie down for too long, and it?s agony to twist his body into any crazy positions.?
But the spy says Leo has no regrets. ?He considers it the role of a lifetime. Of course, it would ease the pain if he won an Oscar!?
[From Star Magazine, print edition]
I?m including photos of Leo from the past month? he doesn?t look like he?s gained much weight to me? I mean, we all have to reconcile ourselves to this new not-youthfully-pretty Leo, but I?ve actually thought he?s been looking pretty good at various awards shows. Not so puffy, rather suave, not grumpy at all. Not to say I don?t believe it?s possible he did sustain injuries while filming ? it definitely happens, and maybe some days are better than others or maybe the injuries just weren?t that major. Or maybe Leo?s bedroom excuse is, ?Baby, I can?t right now. Girl, I?ve got a bad back.? Is that what he tells Jonah Hill?
Speaking of Jonah, Leo crashed Jonah’s SNL monologue last Saturday. Here you go:

Doubling his chances of winning an Oscar this year, Leonardo DiCaprio has earned a second nomination for his blockbuster performance in ?The Wolf of Walstreet.?
The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has stated the 39-year-old is one of four producers who will win the iconic trophy, provided the Martin Scorsese film wins Best Picture.
This nomination marks Leo?s fifth, which is quite the feat, given that Martin Scorsese himself has obtained twelve throughout his career!
Also up for nominations are fellow producers of the film, Joey McFarland and Emma Tillinger Koskoff and Scorsese himself. We?ll see who wins it all on March 2nd!

This morning (January 16), the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences unveiled this year?s Oscar nominees, and some of our favorite stars have weighed in on the news.
Leonardo DiCaprio gushed over his nod for Best Actor (Wolf of Wall Street), noting, "I am deeply humbled by this honor and even happier to share today with Marty [Scorsese], Jonah [Hill], Terry [Winter], as well as this entire cast and crew. The Wolf of Wall Street has been a passion project of mine, and I found the role to be one of the most challenging and rewarding of my career. Congratulations to all of my fellow nominees and thank you to the Academy for this extraordinary recognition."
Additionally, Leo?s cohort Jonah Hill got excited about his Best Supporting Actor mention. "I am in complete and total shock. I honestly was not expecting this, on a level you can't even imagine. Again, I'm clearly in shock. I didn't have a plan for celebrating today because I truly did not expect any of this! But I am going to the Critics' Choice Awards and it will be great to see everyone from the film there tonight. Truly, this is shocking."
Best Supporting Actress nominee Julia Roberts (August: Osage County) shared, "This was certainly a once in a lifetime experience and the recognition from it is an absolutely thrilling bonus. I simply could not be more excited right now."
Looking to score her very first Oscar, Amy Adams was overjoyed to hear that she made the cut for Best Actress (American Hustle). "It's a very good thing to wake up to; we were all asleep! Making Hustle was very challenging, so it's really nice that people not only recognized the film but all the actors as well. And I?m so proud to have been in Her too, which has been recognized with a best picture nomination. As for celebrating today, maybe we should go out for a family hike? Then again, everyone looks pretty tired around here right now!"
Best Actress hopeful Judi Dench (Philomena) declared, "This is just the loveliest news. I'm so happy for everybody involved, and so proud to have been part of the wonderful experience that Philomena has been."
?Gravity? helmsman Alfonso Cuaron was tapped for the Best Director category- "Thank you, Academy, for this incredible recognition. These nominations are not just about single achievements, but rather the collective effort of hundreds of dedicated artists who made this dream a reality. On behalf of everyone involved with Gravity, I want to express our deepest gratitude to the industry, the exhibitors, and the public for embracing this film so passionately. A special thank you to our friends and collaborators at Warner Bros. for staying on board this journey for more than four years. I am particularly moved by Sandy's nomination. She is the heartbeat of our film. She immersed herself in the part. And I thank her for her grace, her trust and her dedication to finding the truth of this character."
And Chiwetel Ejiofor can?t wait to see if he scores the Best Actor trophy- "At no point during filming, in the sweltering heat of New Orleans, did any of us ever foresee the journey this film would take us all on. Steve McQueen created an entire family to tell one man's tale and I am delighted that so many of this family have also been recognized today. I am hugely grateful to the Academy for this great honor, and, of course, to Solomon Northup for sharing his story through his breathtaking book."

| Leo DiCaprio vs Jean Dujardin at 'Wolf of Wall St' premiere: who would you rather' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are Leonardo DiCaprio and Jean Dujardin at the world premiere of The Wolf of Wall Street (i.e., “the height of debauchery“) in Paris. These two were the only stars to walk the red carpet with director Martin Scorsese. No Margot Robbie, no Matthew McConaughey, and no Jonah Hill. This seems like a strange tactic for a world premiere, and I am genuinely surprised they didn’t bring Margot along to be the fashion girl of the red carpet.
So we are left to ogle only Leo and Jean and to decide which one we’d rather hit. From a physical standpoint, I’d definitely go with Jean. Leo is and will always be the grumpy chihuahua to me. Jean looks so smooth and suave, and his accent is to swoon for. Yet if I have to consider personality and what each guy has to offer, things get tough. Jean is recently single but probably cheated on his wife, so all of the adorable enthusiasm during his Oscar acceptance speech goes out the door. Leo is also known for his womanizing ways, but maybe I’d get a Prius out of the deal. That might be worth the trouble of bleaching my hair blonde and wearing VS lingerie to get Leo’s attention. Of course Jean doesn’t seem like he has a type other than women, so maybe he’d be worth it for one good roll in the hay. Of course, Marty Scorsese looks awfully cute in these photos too. Hmm.
On a slightly more serious note, Leo just jumped into the electric race-car business. He’s teaming up with Venturi Automobiles to enter a team in the FIA Formula E Championship for electric cars. Leo says, “The future of our planet depends on our ability to embrace fuel-efficient, clean-energy vehicles.” The cars can only run on a charge for 25 minutes, so I guess drivers have to switch cars during the race. God, that sounds complicated, and Leo is so selective with his environmental principles that it’s hard to take him seriously.
In short, I’m going with Jean. You ladies can have Leo all to yourselves.

Helping to ensure international box office success of his new movie, Leonardo DiCaprio attended the "Wolf of Wall Street" premiere in Paris, France on Monday (December 9).
The "Great Gatsby" star spruced up in a shiny black suit and matching tie as he posed for photos with costars and director Martin Scorsese on the red carpet.
In the drama based on a true story, Jordan Belfort begins his meteoric rise as a stockbroker only to fall into a world of crime and corruption.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the film is already generating a lot of buzz ahead of its Christmas Day release, earning a spot in the 2013 AFI Awards list.

Over the weekend, Leonardo DiCaprio made a special appearance at the LACMA Film + Art gala honoring Martin Scorsese. Marty and Leo are super-tight. They?ve spent the last decade collaborating together on film after film. Their latest collab is The Wolf of Wall Street, the true story of Jordan Belfort, a stockbroker in the early 1990s, played by Leo.
The Wolf of Wall Street was originally supposed to have a splashy Oscar campaign starting right about now, with a mid-November release date and all the fixings. Then Marty (or someone, maybe Harvey Weinstein) got cold feet, and pushed the release date until next year. It looked like Leo?s Oscar campaign was supposed to wait. But like so many movies this year, everything is still in flux.
Now it?s looking like The Wolf of Wall Street will be released this year, this time with a Christmas release date. They?ll probably do special screenings for the Hollywood Foreign Press (gotta get those Golden Globe nominations), and maybe some fast and dirty promotion in early January with an eye on sealing a Best Actor nomination for Leo? Interestingly enough, from what I?ve seen of the early reviews for the film, the shoo-in for a nomination is NOT Leo, it?s Jonah Hill. Everyone is saying Jonah is wonderful and he?ll definitely get a Supporting Actor nomination (another one!).
Do you think Leo will actually campaign for another Oscar this year? When was the last time he was nominated? Let me look? oh, the last time was 2007! Yikes. So, it?s been a while. The Best Actor race is an embarrassment of riches this year though. Likely contenders: Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael B. Jordan, Idris Elba, Robert Redford, Matthew McConaughey, Tom Hanks, Bruce Dern, Christian Bale, Oscar Isaac, Joaquin Phoenix? and so many more. It?s crazy-crowded this year. So maybe Leo will get shafted again?
Here are some photos of Leonardo at LAX two days ago. We get it, Leo. You don?t want the paparazzi to get a shot of your face. You?re super-private. We know.

| Leonardo DiCaprio's newest girlfriend is Kat Torres, a 24-year-old Brazilian model | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Leonardo DiCaprio is at it again. We never covered these photos of Leo at the a Chinese film festival last month. Leo does clean up well but is looking extra “grumpy chihuahua” in these pictures. Perhaps that’s because Leo quietly broke up with Toni Garrn if a new lady’s claims are to be believed. It is true that Leo and Toni looked incredibly bored while taking in the US Open together. Leo was ready to trade in for a new model.
Of course Leo has a new model already! Of course she’s tall and thin with long blonde hair. That’s Leo’s only type of woman. The latest lady in Leo’s life is Kat Torres, and she is very young (24) and hails from Brazil. Strangely enough, she does not (yet) model for Victoria’s Secret. As Kaiser noted recently, Leo’s girlfriends usually enjoy the exposure of hanging with Leo for a few months. Who knows, this coupling could actually score Kat a VS gig. Don’t write this girl off is what I’m saying.
Kat is very, very pretty and very, very young looking. Here are some photos from her Facebook, where you can find other NSFW images.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest love interest has been identified as 24-year-old international model Kat Torres, who works for Elite Model management in Paris.
Blonde Torres, a former 2012 Miss Caieiras beauty queen, a small city in Sao Paulo, spoke to Brazilian newspaper Extra confirming that she is dating The Great Gatsby star.
She said: “I met Leo in Cannes. We were staying in the same house at the festival.” The pair were photographed together, dressed casually and surrounded by security as their pushed their way through crowds.
However, it appears that the model whose real name is Katiuscia Torres Soares, who was born in Belem in the northern state of Para, is a bit of a novice to the paparazzi as she claims surprise at being photographed with the Hollywood superstar.
While confirming that she is seeing DiCaprio, the model shied clear of saying too much about the romance. She said: “Leo is amazing, but I worry about what he will think about me talking to you. We have a pact that nothing can ever be said about our relationship. In Europe it is different. People see us together in many places so they do not need to ask us about anything.”
Torres who is 1’57m tall also revealed that DiCaprio is protective of his privacy, adding: “He doesn?t like being photographed and barely goes out walking once people have realized it’s him.”
[From Daily Mail]
Who knows how long Kat will be around now that she’s talked about Leo in the press. He’s not gonna like that one bit. Did you notice that Kat is probably one of Leo’s seven Cannes hookups? Cara Delevigne, look at what you gave up. You could have been a contender.
Here’s some pics that I thought were funny — Leo showing off his excellent tennis form on vacay with Toni in August.

Leonardo DiCaprio covers the latest issue of NY Mag to promote The Wolf of Wall Street. This movie is the one where Leo dances and throws money to play his stockbroker character, Jordan Belfort, whose memoir forms the basis of the movie. The trailer gave off strong Goodfellas vibes, but in this piece Scorsese steps in and insists that he does not draw parallels between stockbrokers and the mafia. Scorsese sees Jordan merely as an old-fashioned scam artist who managed to skim about $100 million off the top end. The good times did not last.
Leo talks a lot in this interview about his process with Scorsese. These two are no ordinary actor-director combo. Leo has pretty much been Scorsese’s muse ever since Robert De Niro decided to stop making good movies (with the exception of Silver Linings Playbook last year). Here are some details from Leo himself on the debauchery in Wolf of Wall Street:
Leo talked Scorsese into Wolf: “I told Marty, ‘I don?t think we?ll be able to do a movie like this too many times in the futur.[ Larger-scale, R-rated dramas, like Blood Diamond or The Departed, don?t really get financed anymore."
The author wanted Scorsese too: "Marty directing was Jordan?s dream scenario, absolutely. When Marty couldn't do it the first time, I set it up with a few other directors, but I never felt comfortable pulling the trigger. I was fixated on him. There wasn't anybody else who could bring the rawness and toughness, the music, and particularly the humor required to convey the excitement of these young punks--these robber barons--taking on the Wall Street system."
On Leo's character: "The book personified America?s addiction to obtaining wealth at all costs, and that hasn?t changed. He was a small fish in a gigantic pond, and he'd motivate his guys by telling them they were heroes for taking on the big houses. Un-regulated Wall Street was like the Wild West. There was nothing Jordan wouldn?t divulge, no matter how intimate or embarrassing. That was the attraction for Marty as well--it's the kind of brutal honesty that got Marty into making movies like Mean Streets."
Leo and Scorsese are one: "Marty said to me early on, 'No matter the genre, no matter what kind of movie, people respond to the honesty in the characters.' We weren't interested in sentimentalizing Jordan. We aren?t painting a portrait of someone we want people to feel sorry for. Later in the film, when his life starts breaking apart, people are going to think he?s making the wrong decisions constantly. That?s not to say that people won?t be rooting for him, because he?s a likable guy."
Leo got to know Jordan: "I wanted a close relationship with him so that I could weave intimate details into the movie. Things that weren?t in the book. I was kind of the middleman between him and Marty, and I would bring pages of notes from my meetings with Jordan--things like this insane orgy on a 747 going to Vegas, chimpanzees in diapers that would skate through the Stratton offices, very intimate stuff about his relationships with women--and Marty was game to try everything. His approach was essentially to put everything onscreen and see what we responded to. It was old-school, really independent filmmaking on a larger scale."
Leo on dry-humping a stewardess for the movie: "It?s a modern-day Caligula. The height of debauchery."
[From Vulture]
Hmm. Is it just me, or does Leo’s horndog character sort of remind you of Leo himself? Leo has quite the reputation for debauchery and suppposedly bedded 7 women during Cannes this year. I’m just saying, there are similarities to be had. I’m guessing Scorsese may have picked up on this vibe too, but I’m sure he won’t tell on his muse.

Finally emerging from his blanket fort, Leonardo DiCaprio tried his hand at flyboarding while wearing a dorky life vest and helmet.
As if his life wasn’t fantastic enough, DiCaprio can now fly AND he has a hot model friend watching him in amazement. They’re probably going to do it later. Meanwhile, I’m sitting here in my underwear searching for the Cheeto I dropped under my bed. Hey, maybe there’s a hot model under there! Hm, nope. Just a rat eating my Cheeto. *Sighs*

Here are just a handful of photos from Leonardo DiCaprio?s wild and crazy Ibiza vacation. I?m sure you?ve seen some of the other photos too ? Leo got pap?d making out with his summer girlfriend Toni Garrn, and I guess the paparazzi have just completely decamped to Ibiza, waiting out more photos of Leo and his friends. I see Ethan Suplee in these photos ? he?s an old-school member of the P-ssy Posse. Vladimir Doronin also seems to be on the yacht in these photos ? this is possibly Doronin?s yacht. Vlad and Leo became bros years ago, back when Vlad only got invited to Hollywood events because of Naomi Campbell. I don?t see Vlad?s girlfriend Luo Zilin in these photos, but maybe I?m not looking hard enough? oh, wait!! I see her.
When Leo wants to ?hide? from the paps, he puts a towel over his head and wanders around. But other times, it seems like he doesn?t care and he?s just living his life. I guess he?s taking precautions not to get pap?d making out with Toni again though. And I have to say? the photos of Leo in the white t-shirt? that?s the most attractive he?s looked in a while.
Apparently, the activity with the weird boot things is called ?flyboarding?. It looks crazy-dangerous.
