Last November, we became obsessed with the fact that Keanu Reeves has an age-appropriate, silver-haired artist girlfriend named Alexandra Grant. It was one of the my favorite stories of 2019, honestly. Alexandra and Keanu walked a red carpet together and I called it their ?official debut? as a couple at that point. But it wasn?t true Keanu and Alexandra had been attending events together in a lowkey way for the better part of a year, and some sources claimed that they had actually been dating since the summer of 2017. Now their friend Jennifer Tilly says that it?s true, Grant and Reeves have been together for a couple of years at least.
Jennifer Tilly was shocked when the Internet went crazy over pal Alexandra Grant and Keanue Reeves? relationship, because the actress tells Page Six the couple have actually been dating ?for years.?
?I remember a couple years ago, about a year and a half ago, [Alexandra] said, ?Keanu Reeves is my boyfriend? and I?m like, ?Wait. What? What? What??? Tilly, 61, said the American Heart Association?s Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection on Wednesday night. ?She was so cool I thought she was a lesbian.?
In November, Reeves, 55, and Grant, 46, were seen holding hands at the Lacma Art + Film Gala, and instantly sparked romance rumors. ?It?s really astonishing to me how in the last five months, all of a sudden, she goes to an event with him and everybody goes insane, like, ?It?s his new girlfriend,? because she had gone to a lot of events with him,? Tilly said. ?It?s just suddenly surfaced that he?s been dating her for several years.?
The ?Child?s Play? star, who met Grant at a dinner party years ago, raved that the ?brilliant artist? is perfect for Reeves because they are both ?low key.?
?I saw him at her last art opening, and he?s not, like, wanting the spotlight, because he?s a really low-key guy, too, and I think why everybody went crazy is that they?re sort of the perfect couple,? Tilly said. ?I think everybody wishes that they had something like that. It?s not a razzle, dazzle Hollywood romance.?
The actress shared that Grant ? who is still a bit of a mystery to the public ? is a ?cool, elegant woman ? very quiet, very low-key. [Keanu] is a really great guy, too, but he?s really lucky.? When asked whether she thinks her pals will tie the knot someday, Tilly responded, ?I don?t know that doesn?t seem very hip and bohemian, does it? They?re artists. They?re just going to do what they do.?

I think that?s really cool too it?s kind of clear to me that SO many people in the industry respect the hell out of Keanu and they aren?t trying to gossip about him to Us Weekly or whatever. Alexandra must inspire a similar kind of discretion, although she?s friends with Jennifer Tilly who just spilled her guts to Page Six, but whatever! The point is that Alexandra and Keanu have been happening for a while and people only recently found out about it and it?s fine. And I don?t think they?ll get married either. They?ll just live together and create ART.

I?m here for the obsession with Keanu Reeves and his age-appropriate girlfriend Alexandra Grant. Keanu and Alexandra made an appearance last weekend at the LACMA Art + Film gala. I called it their ?official debut? as a couple. I was wrong. Alexandra and Keanu have been seen on red carpets for years. So why didn?t we know? Or why didn?t the gossip catch up to the evidence that they?ve been dating for a while? I think it?s just because Keanu is so private and he really does shut down questions about his love life and personal life. We had the photos, but no one really knew what the ?story? was. Anyway, sources already told People Magazine that Keanu and Alexandra have basically been friends for years but they only started dating this year. But? Us Weekly says something different, and the photos show something else entirely:

Life & Style broke the news of the relationship on Monday, November 4, two days after Reeves, 55, and Grant, 46, attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala Presented by Gucci in Los Angeles.
?It wasn?t a secret,? the source continues. ?They have been dating since at least summer of 2017.?
The couple ? who collaborated on the books Ode to Happiness and Shadows ? stayed close during the LACMA event on Monday, according to an eyewitness. ?They were standing next to each other and laughing by themselves towards the beginning of the cocktail hour, and then even when they were standing talking to others, they still stood next to each other,? the eyewitness tells Us.

The photos of Alexandra in the silver gown are from May of this year, when they attended a MOCA event. Just going from the archived photos? I would say that they?ve definitely ?come out? as a couple this year, but there?s evidence that they?ve been dating for several years, actually. They kept attending events together. Maybe it wasjust ?friends who attend each other?s events.? But maybe Keanu truly had a lowkey girlfriend for years and people are only finding out now.

We stan a respectful male-female friendship and artistic partnership which blossoms into romantic love over time. We also have to stan the fact that Keanu is willing to put himself out there with Alexandra and with his fans too I?m sure there were some broken hearts, but Keanu?s truest fans just want him to be happy. I completely missed this when I was covering the fashion photos from the LACMA Art + Film gala, which was held on Saturday. The fashion mostly Gucci kind of sucked. But something else happened at this gala: Keanu Reeves made his official couple-debut with his lowkey girlfriend, Alexandra Grant. We stan a man who dates women close to his age. We stan a man who dates silver-haired Helen Mirren-looking ladies. We stan the appropriateness of this relationship!! Most sites have Grant?s age around 46. Keanu Reeves is 55. So she?s still ?younger? but the reality of the world is that we?ve got men in their 60s engaged to 21-year-old college students, so let me have this one. There are a lot of 55 year old men who wouldn?t dream of dating a silver-haired 46-year-old woman.
People Magazine did a nice write-up about Grant go here to read it. She?s an artist and she?s very involved in the artist community in LA. She and Keanu met around 2011, when they worked together on his book Ode to Happiness. She did the illustrations for that book, as well as his 2016 book Shadows. In 2017, they founded X Artists? Books, a publishing house. They?ve been low-key seen and photographed before, mostly on dates around LA.
Anyway, they make a really lovely couple. Am I wrong for wondering if Keanu and Alexandra have been low-key dating for many years?

She told The Huffington Post [via MSN] ?This interview did not happen. This was pieced together from several interviews and the majority of these questions were not asked nor answered. They are fabricated.? He still needs a girlfriend though, right?
Doesn?t it feel like we?re in the midst of a Keanu Renaissance? A Keanaissance, if you will. He?s always been well-liked and appreciated, but more and more, we?re seeing that Keanu Reeves is the only unproblematic dude from his generation of actors. He?s like the Dude from The Big Lebowski Keanu abides, he doesn?t mean any harm, he just works and finds simple joys and doesn?t disrespect or hate anyone or anything. And it turns out that our beloved Keanu is a Lonely Boy.
Keanu Reeves, wise, handsome, gentle man and onscreen spree killer, is lonely. Reeves made this devastating revelation in an interview with Malaysia?s Star2.com. I had this car with these speakers in the back; she turned me on to bands like Joy Division, the Violent Femmes. We would get in the car, drink a little, do this or that, and I?d put the speakers on top of the car, and we?d go to a park and we?d dance.?

Over the past few weeks, we?ve seen a lot of Keanu Reeves, and that?s a good thing. He?s currently filming John Wick 3 (and showing off his horsemanship) in New York and he and Winona Ryder have all of us shipping them IRL as they promote their upcoming rom-com Destination Wedding. I?m with Kaiser on this, they really need to be together. They are completely adorable.
It seems that Keanu is all about weddings, thanks to his involvement in the new comedy. And taking a page from celebs like Bill Murray and Tom Hanks, who shared his best wishes and delivered a pretty sweet photobomb with a couple getting married in New York City?s Central Park back in 2016, Keanu has taken to making some couples? special day even more special.
On Saturday, Keanu struck a pose that was inspired by his Bill and Ted?s Excellent Adventure character, flashing the ol? rock horns alongside newlyweds Jarrod Camara and Leslie Walker before their ceremony in Santa Cruz, California. Speaking with the Huffington Post, the groom?s brother, Jordan, recalled the couple?s interaction with the actor, who graciously obliged when asked to pose with the bride and groom.
?My brother went over and Keanu got right up and shook everyone?s hands and then did that awesome pose for the picture,? Camara said. ?He was just as calm and cool as you would think he?d be and he was happy to take a picture with them.?
?It was really just a couple minutes right before the wedding but it made the bride and groom super happy right before they tied the knot,? he added.
Last week, Keanu posed with another couple in New York. I love a man in a kilt and thought nothing could top that for a wedding picture. Keanu proved me wrong.

Halle Berry signed on for John Wick 3 a few months back. Considering I haven?t seen all of John Wick or John Wick 2, I have nothing to say about the casting choices or the plot. I would assume that everyone knows what they?re doing and judging solely from these set photos, Halle seemed to get along very well with John Wick himself, Keanu Reeves. Halle and Keanu are close in age, in human years as opposed to whatever metric of time is used on the vampire planet they both come from. Keanu is 53 (and fine) and Halle is 51 (and fine). Can two fine-ass 50-somethings find love in all the wrong places?

Halle Berry might be the nicest, most humble person in real life, but I strongly believe she?s an absolute mess in romantic relationships. As soon as she falls in love, all bets are off, you know? So just based on that, I really hope Keanu and Halle are not happening. It?s my hope that Keanu does have love in his life, and that love is low-key and Zen. Now, all that being said? I wouldn?t be mad if Halle and Keanu had a no-strings-attached fling. That would be fun and age-appropriate.

Here are some photos from last night?s premiere of John Wick: Chapter 2 in Hollywood. We need some Keanu Reeves right now, don?t we? Keanu is such a vampire. While his eyes look a bit tired, you wouldn?t really guess that this mofo is 52 years old, right? He is. Anyway, I don?t really have much to say about Keanu. He hasn?t given a bunch of interviews and that suit is not the best, but I still love him. He?s going to appear on the Graham Norton Show to promote this film, so that?s something to look forward to. They also dropped these two videos about the film:
I would give anything to see Keanu Reeves get suited up to punch some Nazis, in a movie or in real life.
Keegan Michael Key – who recently starred in Keanu, a film about a cat – was also at the premiere. As was Ruby Rose, who forgot her blouse, and Keanu?s buddy Laurence Fishburne.
