These are photos of Keanu Reeves with four of his custom superbikes, built by the company he co-founded, the Arch Motorcycle Company. Keanu was displaying the high end bikes at a Malibu classic car and bike show called “Cars and Coffee”. The Daily Mail has some details about the KRGT-1 bike, which starts at $78,000 and is described as a mix of classic design and the latest technology. It has an impressive 121 maximum horsepower and can go up to 138 mph. (Here’s a link to the specs for the bike. In comparison, the Harley Davidson V-Rod, manufactured in a partnership with Porsche, is one of the highest horsepower Harleys at 122 HP and a top speed of 140.)
Keanu started the company last year with bike mechanic and builder Gard Hollinger of LA County Choprods. The two developed a friendship after Keanu went in to customize a bike. The LA Times has an overview of the business, which has five employees who take hundreds of hours to hand make each bike. They plan to build up to 100 bikes a year and to eventually offer more models. It takes about 90 days from order to delivery. Keanu’s partner has said that while the bikes are expensive, there’s a call for them. “There’s a general attitude that no motorcycle should ever cost $78,000, but that’s the kind of person who’s never going to buy a Roll Royce. We never set out to make something affordable.” I guess that’s why Keanu is showing them off, he’s got to get the word out.
You can tell that Keanu loves to ride and that his new business is a passion project. I love these pictures of him talking to fellow enthusiasts. He looks so good on that bike too, although I think he needs more gear. I always think that when I see people with those half helmets.
Keanu has three movies coming out this year, including thriller Knock Knock, by director Eli Roth, and The Whole Truth, with Rene Zellweger and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

| Keanu Reeves quietly waited in the rain to get into his wrap party: amazing? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I would never say that Keanu Reeves is average. I would say that he?s a 50-year-old vampire who manages to be both humble and cool. He?s a low-key guy and he always has been. But if you saw Keanu Reeves walking down the street or standing in line outside a party, you would recognize him. You would notice him. You would say, ?OMG, I love you, Keanu!? So how is it that Keanu Reeves literally waited outside in the rain for 20 minutes, patiently trying to get into a wrap party for HIS film, and no one noticed that it was Keanu?
Keanu Reeves was more like his chill character from ?Bill & Ted?s Excellent Adventure? than any pampered movie star Friday when he waited patiently in the rain for 20 minutes to get into his own wrap party for ?Daughter of God.?
Chauffeur Ronny Sunshine ? once known as the ?Mad Limo Czar? for driving bands including The Beatles, he claims ? was also on the scene outside Chelsea lounge the Leonora.
?Keanu was really patiently waiting,? the driver told us. ?I don?t think he said anything to the bouncer, like, ?I?m Keanu.? No one recognized him.?
Sunshine added: ?Keanu looks very ordinary. It was raining, but he just waited for his two friends to come. He didn?t act like he had money. I just thought he was a rock ?n? roller.?
The club?s owner Noel Ashman told us: ?I didn?t know he was kept waiting, and he didn?t say anything to me.?
He added, ?He?s a very relaxed person.?
Once inside, Reeves even announced from the DJ booth he?d found another guest?s credit card on the ground and wanted to return it. Totally excellent!

How rare is this? In an era of childish tantrums, diva demands and ego run amok, there?s Keanu Reeves, just chilling out and waiting patiently. That?s probably why he?s a vampire ? he never gets stressed out. He never gets angry. He?s just quiet and cool.

Here are some photos of Keanu Reeves at last night?s Hollywood screening of his new film, John Wick. I have to say? I think the photographers on the red carpet were in love with him. There are about a million close-up shots of just Keanu?s 50-year-old vampire face. Enjoy! Keanu is looking particularly great these days, so much so that any ?would you hit it?? type of question is answered with a resounding ?YES!? from every corner of the globe. But for whatever reason, Keanu isn?t getting major studio love these days. And I don?t know why? He has a stellar reputation for being a lovely guy to cast and crew alike. He works hard. He?s constantly underestimated. Keanu talked a little bit about studio films versus indies in a new interview with Indie Wire:
Indie Wire: You aren’t doing many studio movies these days. “John Wick” was produced independently and acquired later by Lionsgate. Do you have a preference for indies over studio projects?
Keanu: Not really. The last studio movie I did was “47 Ronin,” but before that it had been a long time ? probably “The Day the Earth Stood Still.” So I haven’t been getting many offers from the studios.
IW: Are you OK with that?
Keanu: No, it sucks, but it’s just the way it is. You can have positive and negative experiences, but what I like about studios are the resources and the worlds that they can create. Obviously, a lot of good filmmakers work on studio movies. Even when I was working on studio movies more often, I was always doing independent movies. So for me, that was just not happening, but I want to keep going, making things, and telling stories. I want to be able to do that ? to be an actor, a director, to produce, you know? If we’re going to do a delineation between studio and independent [films], I was always hoping to do both.
[From Indie Wire]
Part of me thinks that it?s interesting sociologically that Keanu is facing the same dilemma that many over-40 actresses face: he?s a movie star from a different era of Hollywood filmmaking and studios don?t want to pay a 50-year-old to be the lead anymore. He?s aged out of the current teenage-boy-audience-driven filmmaking. And unlike the other aging action stars ? Bruce Willis, Arnold, Jason Statham, Vin Diesel, etc ? Keanu doesn?t have a major franchise to endlessly milk with neverending sequels. Huh. Keanu has more in common with Diane Lane than Bruce Willis.

We’re always getting requests for more of him, so here are some photos of Keanu Reeves at a New York screening of his new film, John Wick, two nights ago (Monday night). He looks good, doesn?t he? This man is such a vampire. He just turned 50 years old last month, and I have to say? it looks like he?s lost some weight or de-bloated or something, but this is the best he?s looked in a while. Damn, bro.
Anyway, to promote John Wick, Keanu did a Reddit AMA and it was charming. Keanu?s critics will always say that he?s not the best actor and that his verbal delivery is permanently set to ?stoner.? But he actually is a genuinely nice guy and he really doesn?t do drama. His AMA was funny and chill and very upbeat. He says ?uh? a lot. You can read the full AMA here and here are some highlights:
His biggest movie star friend: ?Uh, let’s see. The biggest movie star I’m friends with would be… uh… Sandra Bullock! Yeah, through the years we kinda get together, have a dinner, catch up, see how it’s going.?
The two stalkers that broke into his house: ?Yeah, I guess my security wasn’t good enough… it’s better now! And, uh, it was really scary. The first time was at like 4 in the morning on a Saturday, and it was scary.?
His favorite childhood comic book hero: ?Growing up as a kid, my favorite superhero was… WOLVERINE!?
His favorite guilty pleasure: ?Hmmm, GUILTY PLEASURE. Guilty pleasure is good, and then bad. But good. Today I will pick (I don’t know if it’s a guilty pleasure, though)… what would be a guilty pleasure? The second Caramel-Pecan chocolate. Deliciousness. Or is it the THIRD??
The Doctor Strange casting rumors: ?You know, I just *cough* …I just recently started to hear about that. I didn’t grow up reading the character of Dr. Strange, but the past few days, the people have been telling me about the character, and I have to call my Agent!?
[From Reddit]
I?ve been shipping Keanu and Sandra Bullock for years. What?s it going to take to get them together?! They would be lovely together. Do you think they just have the kind of friendship where they can flirt and catch-up and maybe hook up every now and then? I want them to hook up. I want it to be real!
As for the Doctor Strange rumors? Marvel really needs to cast that part, for the love of God. We?ve been hearing casting rumors for MONTHS! I don?t really think Keanu should play Doctor Strange, but I wouldn?t be mad if he was cast either.

| Keanu Reeves at the Champs Elysees Film Festival in Paris: would you hit it? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I believe that being into Keanu Reeves is a binary state. You can?t be just a little bit into Keanu, nor can you only hate him a little. It?s either/or. You either love him or you hate him. And over the years, it seems like more and more people love him. He?s not a famewhore. He doesn?t need people to pay attention to him in any kind of compulsive way. He?s still pretty hot. And he?s made several really good movies.
Anyway, these are some new photos of Keanu at the Paris premiere of The Man of Tai Chi. He premiered it during the Champs Elysees Film Festival. The Man of Tai Chi got some decent reviews and it?s at 70% on Rotten Tomatoes. It was also Keanu?s feature film directorial debut. Good for him. So? would you hit it? I still would. Something about the beard that still won?t grow in properly. Plus, he just looks like a nice guy. I kind of want to take care of him a little bit.
Meanwhile, there?s been an interesting development in that situation back in April, where Daniel Craig abruptly pulled out of the film The Whole Truth just days before it started production. It was a weird situation and we still don?t know what the hell was going on with Daniel. But now Deadline reports that Keanu has been cast in the role Daniel vacated. The role is ?a defense attorney who fights to get his teenage client acquitted of murdering his wealthy father.? They?ve also moved the production from Boston to New Orleans after being ?on hold? for the past two months. Huh.
It’s like he’s staring into my soul…

Apparently Sad Keanu has been replaced with Fat Keanu. Keanu Reeves has been stepping out at Cannes looking less like his slender self and more like he’s packed on a few pounds. At a recent photocall for his new filmMan of Tai Chi, he was like “whoa” but more muffled because he probably still had a muffin in his mouth or something.

Here are some photos of Keanu Reeves in Cannes over the weekend (the light grey blazer) and at the Monday photocall for Man of Tai Chi (the dark blazer). I glanced through these photos yesterday and I thought to myself, ?Huh, I wonder why he looks so different??? It?s because Keanu has had a scruffy beard for most of the year! The beard hid whatever is happening to his chin(s). The beard covered up his weight gain, sort of.
So? Keanu gained weight. Which I feel fine about noting since we (as a society) always note when a woman gains weight and my personal motto is ?what?s good for goose is good for the gander.? Keanu is 48 years old and he?s finally getting some of the middle-age spread, either that or he just stopped working out and began a love affair with donuts. In an interview last year with GQ, Keanu was asked about aging and he said: ?My knees are well aware of it. Mortality is very different when you’re 20 to when you’re 50. It creeps in here and there, doesn’t it? You look out the f–king window and then you think about your eyes closing.” He?s so? Zen. I really mean that.
So, would you hit it? Are there enough people out there who look at these photos of Keanu and think, ?STFU, he just needs a few Pilates classes and of course I would hit it?? Because honestly, this isn?t as bad as it could be. Despite the recent weight gain (which I personally think is just ?more to love?), Keanu still looks really good and well-preserved. It?s his crazy gene mix, I think. And his Zen-like existence. I imagine him meditating on the donuts.
PS? The shaggy Mick Jagger hair isn?t helping either, right? He needs a real haircut.

I tend to forget that Keanu Reeves is a ?Forever Dong? for many of you. I like Keanu a great deal, but he?s a genuinely private celebrity, which means that there?s rarely good gossip about him these days, and there usually isn?t an opportunity to write about him. But Keanu was out last night to support his Matrix buddies, Andy & Lana (formerly Larry) Wachowski at their LA premiere of Cloud Atlas. Keanu looked great! Even with his mild alopecia barbae (scruffy beard). So, enjoy your Forever Dong. PS? Keanu is not IN Cloud Atlas, he just came to the premiere to support his friends.
Here?s Tom Hanks (who is in the film) and his wife Rita Wilson. I don?t love Tom with a mustache, but I love Tom in general, so I?ll take this version of him. I don?t like Rita?s hairstyle.
Speaking of unconvincing mustaches, um? here?s Jim Sturgess. I?ve never been into him, but I have had moments where I thought, ?Wow, he looks like a too-pretty pillow-weeper.? This is not one of those times. (?Pillow-Weeper? = the kind of dude who cries after sex.) This mustache is totally 1970s. He looks like a sleazy 1970s pimp in a Dirty Harry movie. PS? Why does he actually look like he?s been crying? PILLOW WEEPER 4 EVA.
And here?s one of my forever dongs, British actor James D?Arcy. This guy? I love him. He?s right up there with Benedict Cumberbatch for me, and I relish the chance to talk about him or post photos of him. He has a major role in Cloud Atlas, and I hope to see more of him in years to come. THIS is my type ? tall, English, dark hair and light eyes, lanky frame. This is my Dong Kryptonite.

| Keanu Reeves in Berlin: is he messing with his face, or is he a vampire? | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here’s Keanu Reeves at the Berlinale film festival promoting a film he produced, Side By Side, which is a documentary on film production – really! It’s described on IMDB as investigating “the history, process and workflow of both digital and photochemical film creation.” I’ve been watching more documentaries lately, particularly documentary television like Current.tv’s Vanguard. Although this movie sounds dry in concept it could actually be interesting. I love Keanu and want him to do well. Here’s a little more on the film and the fact that it’s been picked up for distribution.
Keanu Reeves has been given a big boost as a movie producer – his latest project has been picked up for U.S. distribution days before its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival in Germany.
Side By Side, a documentary about the digital revolution and its impact on traditional filmmaking, features interviews with pioneering directors with James Cameron, David Fincher, George Lucas, David Lynch, Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorsese and Steven Soderbergh.
Tribeca Film bosses have announced they have acquired the North American rights to the film, which they call “a provocative and illuminating journey through the technical and aesthetic implications of the transition from traditional film to digital technology”.
Produced and narrated by Reeves, who also conducted the bulk of the interviews, the film is directed by Chris Kenneally.
It is expected to hit U.S. cinemas this summer (12).
[From Contact Music]
The Hollywood Reporter has a quote from the director, Chris Kenneally, describing the film. “Cinema is at a tipping point. Digital has challenged, and in some ways completely overturned, a process of making movies on photochemical film that has been a tradition for over one hundred years. Side by Side is an intimate conversation between Keanu and the top professionals in the industry about this revolution and its impact.”
I would see it just for Keanu, especially to see him interview people in the industry. He’s such a thoughtful, decent guy and we don’t get enough of him.
Let’s talk about how amazingly young Keanu looks here at 47. It might just be the fact that he’s borderline clean shaven for once, but he looks like he’s botoxed to me in that he’s so smooth and young looking still! Kaiser tells me he’s just a vampire with good genes, though, and she might be right. I guess he’s looked preternaturally young for a while and all the scruff and hair he used to have was disguising it. In the one photo (below) of him looking down while smiling you can see that he has lines and a little puffiness around his eyes. Still, he’s in Hollywood and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s doing a little something to achieve that “15 years younger” look. Maybe some laser resurfacing or something minor.
Here’s my favorite part of these photos, Keanu’s beat to hell sneakers! Look at those things, it’s like he has one pair and refuses to wear any other shoes. My kid is like that, but I try to talk him into changing them up well before the shoes get to that stage.
Here’s Keanu in June of last year for comparison. He sort-of looks the same, just with a beard. There’s something different about his eyes, but that could be due to the fact that he’s smiling.

Keanu Reeves is currently promoting his new film, Henry?s Crime. I thought it sounded like an artsy-fartsy independent film about, like, the ?crime? of an insouciant butterfly named Henry or something. You know the kind of film I mean - bad and pretentious. Although I would love to see Hollywood try to make a movie about an insouciant butterfly named Henry. Anyway, as it turns out, the film actually looks kind of good. Keanu costars with Vera Farmiga and James Caan. It?s part romantic comedy and part heist film, it seems:
Not bad, right? I would rent that. So while Keanu has been promoting the film, he?s obviously given some interviews. When Us Weekly asked Keanu what the ?craziest thing? a fan had ever done to him, Keanu answered honestly: ?Accuse me of being a father. I had to go to court. It was horrible. I didn’t do it. I’m not the dad.” Keanu is referring to the years-long debacle in which a mentally unstable woman named Karen Sala claimed Keanu had hypnotized her into thinking he was her ex-husband, and then seduced and impregnated her. Keanu really did have to give DNA to prove that he wasn?t the father. It was truly crazy.
Keanu also gave clues to a long-rumored project that he might be making in the next year: the third Bill & Ted?s Excellent Adventure! It?s been 20 years, but Keanu announced a few days ago that two screenwriters (Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon) are currently working on the script. Keanu even revealed some plot details (SPOILER!!!): ?I know a little bit? When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn?t happened. [?] So they?ve now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there?s an element of time and they have to go back.? I kind of love the idea of Keanu and Alex Winters going back and making another one. It?s so absurd. Dude.
