Megan Fox covers the August issue of Cosmo to promote Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. For real. She’s in a “tips to please your man in bed” magazine as part of the publicity for a kids’ movie. Cosmo is a regular tour stop for Megan though. I think this is her fifth US cover, and she’s had a handful of international covers too. Back in 2009, Megan used Cosmo to talk about the all powerful vadge. By 2012, she was really into discussions of soulmates. Megan has changed even more since then and has appared in Parents magazine. So far, these new Cosmo excerpts reflect her new outlook. That is, being sexy isn’t everything:
On women being in charge of their sexuality:
“Women don?t have to be desperate and try so hard. Allow yourself to be strong and powerful and men will be crawling on their hands and knees.”
On finding the perfect mate: “You have to be with someone who loves you at your absolute worst, because you can’t be an actress every moment of the day forever.”
On someone she finds sexy: “I think Ellen [DeGeneres] is sexy. Maybe it?s the way she gives off the impression that she?s anti-’the business’ even though she?s engaging in it. And humor is always sexy.”
On reading Cosmo: “I remember I used to think it was a big deal, when I was like 15, 16, and I knew that Cosmo was something my mom probably didn?t want me to read, and so it was exciting to get a hold of it because you felt like you were getting a glimpse behind what it was to be a woman; they?re letting you in on womanly secrets.”

The interview isn’t anything special, but we usually don’t see mind-blowing revelations in Cosmo. The whole “don’t try so hard” is kind of funny because Megan used to try so hard to sound like a sexy rebel in her interviews. Remember all those Maxim shoots where she shot water out of her mouth and pushed her girls together? Yeah. I’m glad she’s not trying so hard anymore. She looks much better in a shoot like this. I’m not crazy about the cover outfit at all, but Megan looks lovely in the rest of the editorial.

During promotions for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," the lovely Megan Fox graced the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine's August 2014 issue.
After posing for a few sexy snaps with photographer Eric Ray Davidson, the "Transformers" babe opened up about a sexy celebrity host and her memories reading the fashion mag as a teen.

She's the proud mommy of two beautiful boys, but Megan Fox is the first to admit that it's tough sharing the love at times.
In the July 2014 issue of Parenting magazine, the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" actress opened up about the joys and struggles of raising two, young children.

What is it like having two kids under 2? What?s the most enjoyable part and most challenging part?
"It?s total chaos obviously. Before you have kids you really do not understand how much work it is and how consuming it is. And then you have one and you?re like, 'Oh my God my baby is my whole world.' Every moment of the day is dedicated to this one baby and then all of a sudden you have two babies! Their needs are so different because Noah is nearing 2 and then my newborn is 4 months. It?s really hard to manage because I also don?t let them watch TV. It?s not like I?m going to sit Noah in front of the television so I can take care of Bodhi. I have to figure out how to incorporate Noah into the process and have him help me take care of Bodhi and make sure he doesn?t get jealous and make sure nobody?s neglected and everybody?s needs are being met. As a mom it?s hard because I don?t feel like I?m ever giving either one of them 100% of my attention or 100% of myself, so I carry a lot of guilt. Do they each understand how special they are and how much I love them? And are they understanding that they?re unique? It?s hard to make each one feel like an individual when you have to raise them together and manage them together all of the time. So that?s the most difficult part."
When did you first have that ?I?m a mom? feeling?
"I was really connected during my first pregnancy. But even during my pregnancy I had no idea how worried I was going to be for the rest of my life. From the moment I gave birth to Noah, that was the first time I was like, 'I love something so much that I will never be the same again.' I will never be relaxed again because I will always be worried about him and hoping that he is ok and safe and happy."

Megan Fox has gone through a lot of changes in the past few years. She no longer covets the Maxim babe image. She’s no longer trashing Michael Bay and even begged him to hire her to play April in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Megan’s promoting this movie with an interview in Parents magazine. This is a wise move because Megan’s talking to the people who will bring their kids to see this dumb movie. She’s also now a mother of two boys, Noah (2 years) and Bodhi (4 months).
Megan talks about the challenges of being a working mother. She describes the struggle of meeting both boys’ needs at once, especially since she doesn’t let them watch television. This stance is unexpected since Megan’s husband, Brian Austen Green, has made most of his money from television gigs. Megan describes tv as too “overwhelming” and “too stimulating” and “bombarding” for kids. Which is fine, it’s her choice. I do wish her luck in keeping her boys off the internet until 8th grade. That sounds like a hefty task considering how many elementary schools have kids researching on the internet. Take it away, Megan:
Becoming a working mom: “The main thing it does is it affects how much I?m willing to work. I?ve never been an extraordinarily ambitious girl or career-oriented, but especially once I got pregnant with my first son and now [having] my second, it?s so hard to be a working mom especially when your heart is not in your work, when your heart is with your family. I have to make one movie a year because I have to invest in their future and I have to be able to pay their way through college and be able to provide for them. I?m looking for movies that will shoot in Los Angeles, for projects where I?m part of an ensemble so I can shoot in and out in 10-20 days. It?s all about trying to spend as little time away from my kids as possible.”

More on the “no TV” issue: “I do let them watch movies, I just don?t let them watch TV. With movies I feel like there?s a beginning, a middle and an end. It?s linear. There?s a clear story. I think that it?s different than just putting a kid in front of the television, because it?s just nonstop. They?re just being bombarded with all of this sort of live media and it?s very overwhelming and it?s too stimulating I think for anyone. I don?t watch television because it?s just too much it overwhelms me. I just can?t deal with it. But I do let them watch movies. I remember going to the theater to see movies with my dad or my mom and those are special moments for me. One day they?re gonna watch television. I can?t keep it from them forever. My intention is to keep it away as long as possible or to introduce it through Apple TV so they’re not being exposed to the commercials constantly. My goal is no computers, no cell phones until at least 8th grade.”
Filming TMNT during pregnancy: “I constantly had a big box of saltine crackers with me wherever I went. So in between takes I would scurry away and shove a bunch of saltines in my mouth to keep me from being nauseous.”

Well … I can identify with Megan’s saltine necessity during pregnancy. That was the only way I could keep the acid reflux at bay. Not even Tums helped that issue. Megan also seems much softer and less like a complainer after becoming a mom. Her PR person must have talked some sense into her.
What do you think about Megan’s no-television stance for her kids? Some of the commercials are way too frenetic for kids, but they have to get used to seeing advertising. That’s a part of modern life.

She?s one of the hottest moms in Tinseltown, and Megan Fox seems to think her proximity to Ellen DeGeneres has something to do with it.
During her interview on ?The Ellen DeGeneres Show? today (May 5) the ?Jennifer?s Body? babe chatted about getting knocked up while filming ?Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,? and noted that both of her pregnancies occurred around the same time as her visits to the program.
Megan called DeGeneres ?a fertility good luck charm,? adding, ?If you want to get pregnant, come see Ellen.?
Of course, DeGeneres was glad to help and affirmed that her popular daytime talk show is indeed ?an aphrodisiac.?

Making the most of a kiddo-free evening, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green went on a dinner date in Los Angeles last night (April 27).
The ?This is 40? actress showed off her impressive post-baby body as she strolled inside a local eatery to meet up with her handsome husband.
And while Megan had some serious beef with producer Michael Bay back in 2009 while working on ?Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,? it seems they?ve made nice while shooting ?Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.?
Fox told press, ?He was one of the most lovely people that I dealt with in making this movie. I've always loved Michael. We?ve had our battles in the past but even when I?ve been really outspoken about difficulties we?ve had, I?ve always followed up by saying that I have a particular affinity to him. He can be very vulnerable, and he?s very likeable and loveable. I?ve always been very vocal about that as well. But, sometimes we clash because we both have very willful, powerful personalities.?
Previously, Megan likened Bay to Hitler and Napoleon- "He's like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he's not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it's endearing to watch him."

Speaking to EW last week to promoteTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Fox said about the turtles, “I was really in love with them.” She explained, “I have an older sister that?s 12 years older than me, so part of it initially was because I wanted to be like my big sister. But, it?s a really cool project for me because it was a huge part of my childhood, and it?s always been.”
When asked about other cartoon remakes she’d like to do, Fox had some ideas.
?Gundam Wing,?responds Fox, adding she?d love to see aJurassic Parkremake in the works. ?Pacific Rimwas sort of aGundam Wingsituation, but they should do it. What aboutThundercats??
Or maybe, she says,Sailor Moon.?That could feasibly be made into a live action movie,? mulls Fox. ?I don?t know how many Americans were into that. I was into that, but I don?t know how huge it was here.?

Before we get to the actual new quotes from Megan Fox ? her first interview in a while, actually ? I think we lay down the base for WHY Megan is speaking right now. She stars in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the movie executive produced by Michael Bay. The trailer came out a few weeks ago and it is one of the sketchiest, most terrifying, most horrifying things I?ve ever seen. Prepare yourselves:
Okay. Are you okay? So, that?s where Megan Fox?s career is these days. She?s had two babies very quickly, she?s bad-mouthed a lot of powerful people in Hollywood and she?s basically lucky (yes, I said it) to get work on this movie. Many were surprised that Michael Bay hired her because, well, Bay was one of the biggest targets Megan had when she went dangerously off-message during the promotion of Transformers 2. Reportedly Megan sent Bay a ?heartfelt apology? after she went off, complaining about the quality of the Transformers films and saying Bay was ?like Hitler? and ?like Napoleon.? Well, Megan has a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, and my how the worm has turned:

It?s more representative of a modern woman?I?m completely clothed for the entire movie. There?s no gratuitous skin or sexual anything. Jonathan was really insistent on not wanting her to be sexualized or to take that sort of typical role we?ve seen women take in movies thus far, and that I?ve taken in particular.?
But she?s fine with the pin-up thing: ?I don?t really mind. It?s actually a large part of my personality. I think you can be that and you can also be intelligent and strong. I don?t think they?re in opposition to one another ? at least in my life.?
Motherhood: ?I had just had Noah when I started taking meetings to see if this would work out for me. How cool is it to have a mom that plays either a superhero or plays the part of this iconic franchise that spans so many generations? I mean, hopefully they?ll both think I?m cool.?

Well, she sounds? subdued. Someone got with the program, didn?t they? Megan is a prime example of the fickleness (I almost spelled that with a ?U?) of the young American male, the prime demographic that all of Hollywood wants to appeal to. In 2008-09, Megan was the hottest girl around. Every dude loved her. Every dude thought she was the hottest thing. Megan thought she was the hottest thing too, which is why she started bad-mouthing everyone and everything. And so the attention went away, she got fired from a big job and not that many people wanted to work with her. So she had to rebuild, slowly, and come back with a new attitude. But will the fickle male fanbase still be there? I really don?t know.

Showing her dedication to her craft, Megan Fox showed up on the set of ?Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? in Los Angeles in the wee hours last night (April 8).
Staying warm in a large black parka, the ?Jennifer?s Body? actress enjoyed a visit from husband Brian Austin Green during a break in the shoot.
The much-anticipated flick also stars Will Arnett, Johnny Knoxville and Whoopi Goldberg and is slated to hit theaters on August 8th.
Per the synopsis, ?From their home in the storm sewers of Manhattan, four Ninjitsu-trained turtles, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello and their sensei, Master Splinter, battle evil.?

Here is Megan Fox returning to the set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for re-shoots in Los Angeles.
Megan is already mom to Noah, born in September of 2012. The brunette babe was spotted in tight jeans and a low-cut top for the re-shoots with costar Will Arnett
“She’s a kick-ass April,” Arnett told IGN. “Megan did such a great job. There are some great sequences that she has and that we both have together that are really high octane where we’re fighting all sorts of bad dudes.”
