Megan Fox did something surprisingly nice for Veteran?s Day, which was Friday - she actually went out of her way to spend time with veterans. Seriously! Megan and her husband Brian Austin Green went to The Veterans’ Home of California - these are some photos from the visit. Considering that I can?t see that any major female celebrity actually did a something nice for veterans on Veteran?s Day, I have to say? good for Megan! That?s really nice of her.
It?s pretty smart too, if you want me to look beyond the face-value ?that?s nice? sentiment. Megan and her team are trying to ensure that she mixes up her image from surly, petty, foot-in-mouth chick to ?supporting actress with a solid career who does good works?. Oh, and there was a rumor going around that Megan and Brian were splitting up too, so two birds with one stone (or photo op).
Regardless of any ulterior motives, however, it was just really nice to visit with the retired soldiers. Well done, Megan. Also, well done on her appearance too - meaning her 2011 Face, which doesn?t look tweaked into oblivion in these candid shots. She?s also put on a little weight, which looks great on her. I feel like? she?s trying to win me over? Maybe at some point. Here?s hoping!

Keeping it cute and casual for her visit, the "Friends with Kids" beauty dressed in a black jacket, skinny jeans and maroon high heels for the memorable holiday meeting.
Surely not the only one to honor war heroes yesterday, Megan joined a slew of other A-listers speaking out to thank our troops.

Megan Fox is to make her Broadway debut following the announcement that the 25 year-old actress will be taking part in this year’s ’24 Hour Plays’, in which cast and crew meet and create and produce six short plays in the space of one day.
Fox has had an ascendant career since starring in action film ‘Transformers’ in 2007, going on to star in the follow up ‘Revenge Of The Fallen’ and is now currently filming the Sacha Baren Cohen directed, ‘The DiCtator’.
However this will be her first turn on the theatre stage, reports Bbc News, joining actors such as ‘American Pie’ actor Jason Biggs, Jesse Eisenberg, ‘Save The Last Dance’ star Julia Stiles, renowned comedian Sarah Silverman and the stalwart Woody Harrelson on November 14th 2011.
The project is in its 10th year and all proceeds from the plays are registered go to charity, which this year will be the Urban Arts Partnership – an organisation that promotes art-integrated education programmes in under-privileged communities.
The UK is taking part in the concept as well, and has announced the likes of Mackenzie Crook, Lily Cole, Sanjeev Bhaskar and Matthew Horne among those who’ll be involved. In the UK the money will go to The Old Vic Theatre’s development strand Old Vic New Voices, which is a mentoring service for up and coming actors.

Venturing out for a bite to eat, Megan Fox hit up Los Angeles hot spot Larchmont Bungalow for a late lunch on Tuesday afternoon (November 8).
Going ultra-casual while dining on her midday fare, the bare-faced "Transformers" beauty dressed in a blue ball cap, light blue hoodie, gray sweat bottoms and beige fur booties, with her flashy wedding ring bauble notably missing from her ensemble.
In career news, Megan is all set to make her break in Broadway, having recently securing a role in the "Great White Way," according to CNN.
Scheduled to begin next month, the production is a 24 Hour Plays project - an event held each year in effort to raise money for the Urban Arts Partnership.

She?s conquered the world of film, and now Megan Fox has her sights set on the live stage genre.
Spotted out running errands on Wednesday (November 2) in skin-tight black leggings and a black top accented with ruby red platform heels, the ?Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen? babe will make her debut on November 14th in the ?24 Hour Plays? project.
Fox will join fellow celebrities like Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, Tracy MOrgan, Jesse Eisenberg, and Gabourey Sidibe in the annual fundraiser to benefit the Urban Arts Partnership.
And depending on how things go, Ms. Fox may even snag a role in an established Broadway production.

In a recent interview, Megan explained her aversion to social media and why she?s elected not to have a Twitter account.
?I feel like it has a purpose because there are fans around the world that want to have some sort of interaction with you. But I feel like it is important to still keep some space and some distance. I honestly don?t think that I am cool enough or important enough that anyone would care about what I am doing at all hours of the day, like, ?I just had a latte from Starbucks and now I am going to Barneys. It’s probably just as well. Enough concealer to cover the bags under your eyes, the cold sore on your mouth and the rugburn on your forehead is all the “holiday makeup” I’ve ever needed.

Closing out the week with a couple's shopping excursion, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green were spotted loading up on groceries in Los Angeles on Friday (October 7).
The "Jennifer's Body" babe and her actor hubby strolled the aisles at a local Whole Foods supermarket as they grabbed up all of their household needs before continuing along with the day's agenda.
The outing comes as Megan recently spoke out in defense of Hollywood hotties who get criticized for their skin-baring roles.
She told, "In reality, there are a lot of guys whose initial attraction to a girl is mostly sexual so I don?t feel that?s an outrageous thing to portray in a movie."
The 25-year-old added, ?Personally, I don?t feel strongly about those kinds of roles either way. I take each on it?s own merits as a character.?
