A word to the wise: when fashion mags talk about wearing oxblood, they’re talking about wearing the color, not actual blood from an ox. That’s really more of a “going commando in the jungles of Vietnam while wearing a necklace of human tongues” kind of look. Not to mention what it does to your car’s upholstery.

Here are some photos from last night?s LA premiere of This Is 40, Judd Apatow?s latest offering, and some kind of sequel to knocked up, I guess, only the story is just about Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann?s characters. Megan Fox is in it, I guess because she?s trying to salvage her Hollywood career by becoming a supporting actress in decent films, as opposed to a lead actress in terrible films. Of all of her potential career moves, this is probably the wisest choice, quite honestly. Megan is wearing Roland Mouret. Thoughts? I don?t hate it. I usually like burgundy and wine colors, but this feels too muted to be interesting. The design is cute, and once again, I want to encourage Megan to stay at this weight. Her body looks great. I want to wipe off some of her makeup though. Too drag-queeny.

Stepping out to show off her latest work, Megan Fox attended the Hollywood premiere of "This is 40" on Wednesday (December 12).
Stunning in a deep red, curve-hugging dress, the brunette beauty was joined on the red carpet by her co-star, Paul Rudd, before heading in to Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
The film - which also stars Leslie Mann and Jason Segal - follows the lives of Pete and Debbie a few years after the events in "Knocked Up."
Spearheaded by Judd Apatow, the movie will hit theaters nationwide on December 21st.

Megan Fox was doing the press circuit for This is 40 when the topic of her birth experience with her son, Noah, came up. Megan gave birth on September 27 and she was pretty candid about the fact that it was not the easiest experience for her. Megan told Access Hollywood that after her water broke, in the car on the way to the hospital, she was in so much pain she was “screaming for an epidural.” Megan, you need to wait until you’re at the hospital for that, it’s not like an epi-pen shot you can self-inject. Megan Fox describing her birthing process will be the closest we’ll ever get to Megan Fox describing her vagina and you know what? That’s good enough for me. Megan spoke toAccess Hollywood about it saying,I was screaming for an epidural when [husband Brian Austin Green] was driving me to the hospital because my water broke on its own and I was immediately ? it was level orange alert pain. It was so intense. And I thought I was gonna be really tough and make it, I was gonna labor to like 8 cm? but the first contraction that I got was horrific!It?s exhausting, but it?s amazing and you can?t, until you have kids, you can?t imagine how much you could possibly love a human being. It?s really intense and really overwhelming and amazing. He?s super cute.Oh, man. I totally know what she’s talking about. Like this one time, I got really drunk and ate two whole California burritos lathered in hot sauce. My butthole must have dilated to 8cm the next day. Exactly like giving birth, right? First of all, Megan Fox looks beautiful. Plastic, yes. But beautiful too. I thought her original face was gorgeous, and there have been various points over the past four years (especially) when she went overboard on the plastic surgery and it gave her an alien-face, but nowadays, post-pregnancy? she looks beautiful. She claims she?s only 10 pounds heavier now than she was before she got pregnant, and I think she should keep the extra weight, because it looks fantastic on her.
Anyway, these are new pics of Megan and her husband and baby-daddy Brian Austin Green at the March of Dimes? Celebration of Babies on Friday night. I don?t know who designed the dress. It looks really cheap to me, mostly because it?s giving me flashbacks to a lace tunic I had in the 1990s exactly like this. My tunic was really cheap too. In an interview last week, Megan claimed that she wasn?t going to be ?overly sexual? in films anymore, but I guess anything goes on a red carpet? Because she?s still doing the p0rn star kissy-face, hair-toss poses.
As for BAG, Megan says he?s a big help with the baby, but her stepson Kassius is kind of over it:
Megan Fox is over the moon about becoming a mom to baby Noah, 2 months — but not everyone in the family is quite so enthusiastic about the little bundle of joy.
The actress, 26, tells the U.K.’s Daily Mirror that hubby Brian Austin Green’s 10-year-old son, Kassius, is somewhat underwhelmed by the new arrival. (Kassius is Green’s child with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil, from whom he split in 2003, one year before meeting Fox on the set of Hope & Faith.)
“Kash is a little indifferent,” the This Is 40 star says of Noah’s stepbrother. “He’s not experiencing any sort of jealousy or competitiveness, but he’s not excited because he just wants to go play video games.”
Green, on the other hand, is every bit the doting dad.
“My husband is amazing,” Fox tells the Daily Mirror of her spouse, 39, adding that he’s taken on the majority of the household chores since Noah was born. “He does more work than I do and he’s just a champ…He’s so helpful and nurturing and amazing…He’s my soul mate.”
In fact, a lot of things in the brunette beauty’s life seem “meant to be” at the moment.
“I love [motherhood],” she says. “It’s what I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl.”

I want to believe that BAG is really like this. I?ll admit to liking him when I read that one interview, but I still wonder if BAG is really this ?nurturing and amazing? dude that Megan seems to think he is. Well? they?ve been together for years and years, so I guess she knows him better than I do. I do think it?s funny that out of all of the 90210 dudes, BAG is probably aging the best. He?s really come into his own, handsome-wise.

Before Megan Fox got pregnant, her body and general health was often discussed, often by Megan herself. When she first broke into Hollywood, many said that Michael Bay and producers asked her to gain weight for the Transformers movies, and Megan has said in interviews that she didn?t always have the best diet, and that she would often go without eating. A few years ago, she went vegan and she really started looking super-crazy-thin, and then she went off veganism and gained some weight back. That was last year, and I said it was probably the best she ever looked ? she?s a small, petite girl, and you can really tell when she gains or loses five pounds, and when in doubt, gain the five pounds.
Anyway, Megan got pregnant around the end of 2011/beginning of this year, and she hid her bump for the most part, except for some notable (paid and highly organized) photo-ops. Megan gave birth to Noah Shannon in September, and now that she?s promoting This is 40, Megan is talking about body image and weight gain again. Apparently, she only gained 23 pounds while pregnant and she?s still carrying around 10 extra pounds.
Megan Fox isn’t in any hurry to get her pre-baby body back after the Sept. 27 birth of her first son, Noah.
“I only gained 23 pounds when I was pregnant and I’m still 10 pounds heavier, but I don’t want to kill myself trying to get back into shape because it’s not a priority right now,” she says in the Dec. 7 issue of the U.K.’s Daily Mirror. “I’m too in love with Noah and I don’t want to be away from him. I just want to be home.”
Fox, 26, also explains why she and husband Brian Austin Green, 39, recently decided to hire a nanny.
“Having an infant is difficult. It’s a lot of work and I didn’t hire any help because I overestimated my own abilities. I had no idea how difficult babies could be, so Brian and I were exhausted,” the star of This Is 40 says. “You never sleep and you’re awake all night and your entire life is devoted to this little thing that needs you constantly. And I love it. It’s what I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl.”
The new mom continues, “I always wanted to mother things and I constantly had a doll I was taking care of. I don’t receive the same satisfaction from my career as I do from being a mother so I’m really happy. But two weeks ago I said to Brian, ‘We have to get a night nurse or we’re going to get a divorce because someone’s got to sleep in this house or we’re going to kill each other.’”
Fox — stepmom to Green’s son Kassius, 10 — tells the Daily Mirror that she’ll be shying away from sexier roles now that Noah is in her life. “It changes your perspective about being overly sexual in a film when you have a baby. I’m going to be more cautious about choosing films because I’m already thinking about when he’s in school and his friends are going to be showing him my photo shoots with me in a bikini and he’s going to be horrified,” the actress says. “So that will deter me from making some of the choices I made before.”
Of course, Fox’s wild days are far behind her. “I went through a stage in my early 20s when I was very rebellious against how I was raised and I wasn’t worried about faith or religion,” the Jennifer’s Body star admits. “But now, maybe because of getting married and wanting to have a family, I’ve come back full circle.”

For the ?23 pounds? thing? it seems like too little to me, but I guess every woman?s body is different and if we?re taught not judge when a woman gains a lot of weight during her pregnancy, we shouldn?t judge when she gains too little. It might just be because ? as I said before ? Megan is really, really small already. She?s tiny. So, 23 pounds is a lot for her, I guess.
As for the nanny stuff? I?m not judging. I actually like how honest she is about not being able to handle it completely and needing some sleep.
