Oh, THIS is interesting. The October issue of Glamour Magazine features Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore and Alicia Keys. The point of getting these three women into a photo shoot together is so that they can raise awareness about breast cancer, and promote their Lifetime project, Five. Five is a two-hour movie which is really five short films directed by these women on the theme of breast cancer.
But the idea of these three women in a room together? it?s fascinating. You know that both Aniston and Keys are homewreckers, right? And Demi? well, she?s just in a sucky marriage to a sucky person. Demi also looks very uncomfortable that she?s sharing the same lighting as Aniston and Keys, two younger women with much less ?work?. I wonder what Alicia and Jennifer have to say to each other? Well, both of them are pretty New Age-y and ?the spirit of the goddess compels me to Speak the Universal Truth?-like. The full Glamour piece is here, and here are some highlights:
Aniston is ?interviewed? by Kristin Hahn, one of her closest friends, and executive producer on Five. Aniston talks about how she and Hahn got involved: ?Well, about a year ago, Susan G. Komen for the Cure approached you and me with the idea. We were intrigued by the challenge of creating short stories that would defy audiences? expectation of the subject. We wanted to balance the drama with humor and irreverence because that?s what?s helped our friends who?ve faced this get through their treatment?we wanted stories that were informative without being heavy-handed. Oh, and they needed to be brilliantly written. Other than that, our goals were small.?
Aniston on raising awareness: ?Because we don?t yet have a cure, and cancer has grown 30,000 snakes out of its head. We need to go at this Medusa with all the firepower we?ve got, from research and legislation, to awareness and early detection, to support groups and compassion for everyone who walks through this. We need to show up for them, to talk to them, to not be afraid. We want people to walk away with hope and information but feel incredibly entertained. Cancer affects all of us, whether you?re a daughter, mother, sister, friend, coworker, doctor, patient. These films touch on that reality. The film I directed is called Mia, and it?s about a woman who takes her diagnosis as a death sentence and gives up?only to discover she?s gone into remission. We want people to know it is very possible to conquer breast cancer.?
The last time Aniston was ?giddy?: ?Putting my feet and handprints in cement in front of Grauman?s Chinese Theatre [on the historic Hollywood Walk of Fame]. That got me giddy! It was a milestone in my career, which was surreal because I still think I?m at the beginning of it. I remember when they told me about the honor, I thought, Really? I mean, I just did Ferris Bueller [the TV show]. I just did Leprechaun! I don?t understand! I thought, I just had a year of failures. [Laughs.] I?ve never lost that feeling of ?Oh God, I hope I get this job!? I don?t want to get too used to any of this because then entitlement sets in, and that?s the kiss of death.?
Aniston on being 40, and remembering her 20s: ?Being this side of 40 feels like what I should have felt being this side of 25: in my body, in my heart, happy with my life, and OK with whatever bumps in the road present themselves. Honestly, whatever angst-y times I?ve had came after fame, which we both know was after 22. When I was 22, I was having a ball! I would have nothing to say to myself. [Laughs. ] I was living in Laurel Canyon with my best friends, including you, and we were dreaming of creating things like Five.
Aniston on wearing the same bikinis year after year: ??and I?ll wear it for as many years as the strings still tie! Bathing suits now have so much hardware on them that they singe your skin. When you take your bikini off, it looks like you?ve been branded with crop circles and lightning bolts and words like Gucci!?
Aniston: ?I couldn?t be in a relationship without ? A human being! OK, in all seriousness, I would say I couldn?t be in a relationship without equality, generosity, integrity, spirit, kindness and humor. And awesomeness.?
Aniston on setting the record straight: ?There?s not enough space in this article. Not even enough pages in this magazine! The truth is, most celebrities are doing the same things most other people are doing every day?work, have dinner, hang out with your friends when you can, try and keep up with the crazy world we?re living in and squeeze in some zzz?s. There?s not nearly as much stealing and obsessing and middle-of-the-night secret calls to ex-boyfriends and scheming and cheating [as they lead you to believe]. Most of it?s just bulls?t, however entertaining.?
Demi Moore on how she started on Twitter: ?Originally, Ash and I were just playing, seeing what it did and what it meant. I?m intensely private, and I?ve openly shown annoyance at the paparazzi. That?s served in the past to create an image of me where I?m always frowning or looking angry. I saw Twitter as this opportunity to connect with people and actually show a side of myself that is much lighter. And all of a sudden people were getting to know me, and I was connecting with people. At its core Twitter is about sharing, and I think that in life we never feel better or more energized than when we?re giving to someone else.?
Demi on what makes her ?giddy?: ?I?m an old-school romantic, so I get giddy when Ashton shows me another way of saying ?I love you??any little thought or gesture that?s playful or sweet. We leave Post-it notes for each other; some have been sticking up for five or six years! For me, it?s the small things. The first day of filming Charlotte, Ashton sent this bouquet of soft blue flowers with a card that said, ?I believe in you.? I put them in this little room that I parked myself in while we were shooting in the rest of the house, and that was the room that we shot my movie?s final scene in. ?
Alicia Keys on reality singing competitions: ?I used to watch American Idol a little bit. My grandmother sucked me into it, and I was like, ?Why am I watching this, Nana?? Initially, I felt like it was showing people that to be an artist you?re just supposed to get on TV. But as time passed, and the industry changed, I started thinking of it as an outlet for people who otherwise wouldn?t have any opportunity to be heard. Now I think it?s a good thing. When you?re talented, you?re talented.?
Alicia calls her relationship a ?blessing?: ?Yes. It?s beautiful because rarely, I think, do you find a relationship where you can experience things equally. In fact, I think that?s my favorite word and the most important word when it comes to relationships: equality. And that?s what we?ve been able to find. We encourage each other equally. We?re excited for each other.?
Alicia remembers the exact moment she fell in love with Swizz: ?I do remember the exact moment. If I told you, I would have to kill you, but it was something that he planned, and he planned it so beautifully and thoughtfully that in that moment I remember thinking to myself, Oh my God, I?m so in love with him.?
On baby Egypt: ?My son, Egypt, makes me super giddy, especially when he laughs. His laugh makes me laugh like a maniac! I do think about [what kind of man I want him to be] a lot. He?s going to be a man in this world. It?s a beautiful blessing that I get to help raise a man. And I want to show him as much as possible.?
Why she named her kid Egypt: ? It was a time of transition. There were certain people [I was working with] who weren?t right. I had friends who weren?t right anymore. I was tired and I had overworked myself and burnt myself out. So I went to Egypt by myself. When I saw what was built there, it made me understand how powerful we are, that we can create anything. And I felt like I needed to create things that were timeless too.?
[From Glamour]
There are lots of interesting parts to the interviews (which were conducted separately, because I guess Aniston, Moore and Keys didn?t want to spend that much time together) that I didn?t get to, but you can read the whole piece if you?re interested.
My favorite moment, the part that made me LOL? It was Demi! When she was talking about Twitter and she said, ?I?m intensely private, and I?ve openly shown annoyance at the paparazzi. That?s served in the past to create an image of me where I?m always frowning or looking angry. I saw Twitter as this opportunity to connect with people and actually show a side of myself that is much lighter.? Intensely private? The paparazzi took some photos of her frowning? Poor, poor baby. And now look at her - a famewhore who tweets bikini photos of herself after her husband bones randoms.

| Demi Moore's Fall 2011 Ann Taylor ads: ridiculous or gorgeous' | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Demi Moore is the latest ?model? for Ann Taylor - she?s the face of the Fall/Winter Ann Taylor line, in these new ads shot by Patrick Demarchelier. Demi comes just months after Katie Holmes?s less-than-great ad campaign for the clothing line, in which Katie looked like she was mid-stroke in the ads. As for Demi? well, you?ve got to chuckle. I?ve noticed something about Demi Moore?s pictorials as of late - the older she gets, and the more she tweaks her face, the less likely she is to be voluntarily photographed close-up. It seems like more and more of Demi?s formal portraits and fashion shots are taken from even greater distances. Add to that the excessive Photoshop and airbrushing, and Demi tends to look like an alien Barbie-faced Fem-bot in most photo shoots. It?s pretty bad in these Ann Taylor ads, that?s what I?m saying.
And if her face isn?t a big enough problem (and clearly, the Ann Taylor people think it?s a huge problem or else they wouldn?t have ?Shopped her to this degree), there?s a new problem. It?s the way Demi wears pants. It?s a recent thing, and I pointed it out several months ago - Demi is starting to look like a Golden Girl when she wears pants. It?s something about her hips, or they way she walks or stands, but whatever it is, it?s happening again in these Ann Taylor ads - Golden Girls-esque.
As for what Demi thinks of her new gig, she told reporters, ?I am delighted to collaborate with Ann Taylor. It is the quintessential American brand for modern working women, and is a company of women, for women. They really understand what women need today to be confident and successful. I feel like I’ve known Ann Taylor since I was a kid. I’ve watched the clothes move into support for the working woman. It used to be a lot of suiting. I’ve seen as we’ve changed, that they’ve changed, reflecting on how we live as modern women, which is wearing things that take us from day to night, from workout to work to weekend.” If you?d like to read more of Demi?s thoughts on Ann Taylor and fashion, go here.

| Demi Moore worries that Ashton Kutcher will dump her now that he's employed | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

In September, we?re coming up on the one-year anniversary of Star Magazine breaking the story that Ashton Kutcher bones random club girls on his wife?s sofa. I can?t believe I actually thought that Demi Moore would be strong enough to kick her philandering boy toy to the curb. Instead, they made shows of support, traveled to Israel, and never got around to suing Star for printing those multiple cover stories about Ashton?s wandering dong. So what does their marriage look like these days? From what I can see, they?ve been especially quiet (for them). No bikini photos on Twitter lately, no big public displays of affection, not much of anything. Since Ashton was named as Charlie Sheen?s successor on Two and a Half Men, the only non-story we had was about Ashton walking in the same group as an attractive blonde. I mean, obviously he was boning her, but it?s not like ?ZOMG SCANDAL?. Still, Demi is worried, according to In Touch Weekly. Demi fears that the boy toy who was barely employed for the first six years of their marriage will now turn into a workaholic. A [philandering] workaholic.
Theirs was the ultimate May-December romance, but it looks like the bloom is fading for Demi Moore and her 15-years-younger spouse, Ashton Kutcher. As Ashton works 24/7 to prepare for his starring role on television?s No. 1 comedy, Two and a Half Men, the couple?s delicate dynamic has been upended, a friend says.
?Demi has always been the bigger star in the marriage, and she liked it that way,? the friend tells In Touch of Demi, who?s feeling especially threatened now that she?s stuck at home writing her tell-all book, due out next year.
?Demi is worried that the show will not only take time away from her, but it might even cause Ashton to lose interest in her.?
Though Demi desperately wants a baby with Ashton, 33, the friend says he has taken it ?totally off the table? while he focuses on the show. That time apart could spell big trouble for the couple?s love life.
?Ashton is working long hours and meeting new people,? adds the friend of Demi, who stood by her man when he was forced to deny accusations that he strayed last year. ?She?s really worried.?
[From In Touch Weekly, print edition]
Still with the baby dramz. At this point, I kind of doubt Demi even wants to be a mom again. But whatever? I think the real story is still unknown - how many young, attractive girls are going to be on the Two and a Half Men set? Will Ashton partake in some casting couch decisions? Or will Demi make sure that she?s always ?around? the set?

I don’t normally have women this old on my site, unless they’re with their hot daughters, but I thought I should make an exception for Demi Moore because even at her advanced ages she’s still looking amazingly hot. I wish we had a full shot of Demi Moore?s pants, because I have a feeling that they are more hilarious in full-length than at these current thigh-cut-offs. Look at them! Shiny, orange, cheap-looking material, and oddly baggy. You know what these pants are, right? They?re nouveau Golden Girls pants. Comfort for the over-50 lady who wants to be fashionable and trendy, but who thinks that baggy orange parachute pants are ?in style? and ?hip with the kids.? For some reason, the whole waist-hip situation is making me think of Don Knotts.
GAH. I just saw a clear shot of the pants - go here to The Mail. Yes, they really are HIDEOUS.
As for Demi?s ?ageless? face? sure. I guess. It?s so smooth and unmoving, it?s like she?s wearing a mask. Is that the point? I know we’re supposed to look at her and think about how great she looks/how great her work is, but looking at Demi makes me sad. Does she think we won’t care about her if she ages naturally, or did that option pass her by a long time ago?

Stepping out for a good cause, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore attended the launch party for the "Real Men Don't Buy Girls" campaign in New York City yesterday (April 14).
Held at the Steven Alan Annex, the Hollywood lovebirds were arm-in-arm as they kicked off their crusade against sex slavery.
During a recent interview with Piers Morgan (April 14), the pair revealed how they keep their love alive, as Demi told, "If you go to our house I have Post-it notes that are placed in various locations, all with messages of encouragement or love, or just thought."
On a serious note, Demi added, "You have to make your relationship a priority, and that's a difficult balance when you have work, the combination of career and family. I think we spend very little time apart."

These are new photos of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher ?celebrating? their ?Real Men Don?t Buy Girls? campaign, the one with the weird, random commercials. For the event, Demi was freshly plucked, sucked, tucked and ?Toxed, looking put together in leather pants and a striped sweater, while Ashton looked like he just rolled out of bed and put on whatever he found on the floor because his mom was yelling at him. I wonder what it says about Ashton?s devotion to this cause if he looks so rough while Demi likely spent hours and hours getting ready?
Whenever I haven?t seen Demi for a while, I always take the time to really examine her face, trying to detect the tweaking. She gets stuff done gradually, so it?s never some huge overhaul that will shock people, like ?OMG, She has a completely new face!? She gets little stuff done over time, but still? bitch has a new face. And as time goes on, it feels like Ashton keeps looking younger and younger, right? That must kill her soul a little.
In other Demi & Ashton news, this popped up on Page Six today:
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher popped by a bridal shower at The Lion on Wednesday night for Prince Albert of Monaco’s fiance, Charlene Wittstock. The Hollywood power couple arrived at the celebration after seeing Moore’s daughter, Rumer Willis, in “Love, Loss and What I Wore” on Broadway. A spy reports Moore couldn’t stop gushing about her daughter’s acting chops to guests including Yehuda Berg, the son of Kabbalah Centre founder Philip Berg and Karolina Kurkova.
[From Page Six]
Ugh. There were like four different eye-rolls in there. Seriously, Demi is tight with Prince Albert? Sure. And ?Hollywood power couple?? Um, really? And Rumer is on Broadway. Eye-roll. And Demi couldn?t stop gushing to Kabbalah people. Ugh!!!

Stepping out for their newest initiative, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were arm-in-arm at the launch party for "Real Men Don't Buy Girls" in New York City on Thursday night (April 14).
Held at Steven Alan Annex, the former "That 70's Show" star described the effort as ?a social media campaign to reduce the demand for child sex labor.?
Ashton added, ?There are more slaves in the world today than ever before in history. Sex trafficking is a $32 billion business with the average age of entry into the forced sex trade as 13 years old.?
Having released a short video clip featuring Justin Timberlake earlier in the week, Kutcher?s campaign gives people the opportunity to ?pledge themselves against it by putting themselves in a video and pledge to the idea and share the idea that real men don?t buy girls.?
