46-year-old Demi Moore posted pictures of herself in a dentist’s chair with a missing front tooth on Twitter, saying
?Happy to share and always appreciate the opportunity to find humility!!! Or at least be able to laugh at myself!?
If you think she looks weird without the veneers, try imagining what she’d look like without the breast implants, the botox, the knee lifts, the armpit tucks, the liposuction, the brow lift and all the collagen injections. I’m pretty sure it’s the same thing you’d see if you said “Bloody Mary” into a mirror three times in the dark.

Twitter, the 140 character limit social networking site, is teaming with a production company to try and create a new reality show that features people interacting with celebrities though their service. It would involve some kind of competition over celebrities, probably to see who can get a response from a celebrity the fastest:
Twitter, the Web site that asks what everybody’s doing, says it wants to be doing a TV series.
The social-networking service said Monday it has teamed with Reveille productions and Brillstein Entertainment Partners to develop an unscripted series based on the site, which invites 140-character postings from members around the world.
The show would harness Twitter to put players on the trail of celebrities in an interactive, competitive format.
The producers call their proposed series the first to bring the immediacy of Twitter to the TV screen.
”Twitter is transforming the way people communicate, especially celebrities and their fans,” said Reveille managing director Howard T. Owens, who expects the new project to ”unlock Twitter’s potential on TV.”
No further details were made available on the show’s format or when it might hit the air.
[From The NY Times]
I’ve been using Twitter more lately and it can be a lot of fun. I think that it gives the illusion of letting us get in contact with celebrities, without really offering that. I’ll explain - once in a while, a celebrity will respond to a particular person. If you look to see how many responses a celebrity gets on Twitter, though, there are thousands. Some of the celebrities seem to skim through them, but the chances that they’ll remember or actually respond to you are very low.
If you’re not familiar with Twitter, here’s a quick explanation of how it works - you can send a “direct message,” which is like an internal e-mail, to someone only if they’re also your friend, which in a celebrity’s case won’t happen. They have tens of thousands of followers and have only “friended” a few hundred people in the best cases, probably so they can actually read through the tweets. You can send an @response to anyone on Twitter, but if you look at @responses a celebrity gets there are way too many, and they come in too fast, for the celebrities to go through them all - especially when they’re online and tweeting. Again, they might read the responses if they’re on, but they probably won’t respond to you - they just don’t have the time.
Here are some examples
Responses to Kirstie Alley
Responses to Samantha Ronson
Responses to Ashton Kutcher
Responses to Demi Moore
It does happen, though. One guy posted a sarcastic story calling out Ashton Kutcher for not responding to his tweet, and Ashton left him a voicemail message apologizing. The blogger just happened to be the co-founder of the popular website Buzzfeed, which is likely why Ashton was so apologetic. Kirstie Alley also once called out Geno of Geno’s World for saying something rude to her. Many celebrities respond to some fans on Twitter but it’s understandably hard to get their attention.
The two most influential and prolific celebrity Twitterers, married couple Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, both say that they are against this planned reality show and won’t participate in it. If it goes through, they plan to quit the service. They’re responding to a now-deleted article, though, that seemed to misinterpret the planned show. Here are some of their tweets on the matter, in which they link to that story which is no longer available. Ashton Kutcher is on Twitter as “aplusk” while Demi Moore is “mrskutcher.” These tweets are in reverse order:

The Twitter people should have contacted Ashton, Demi and some of the other Twittering celebrities before making the announcement for this show. Ashton and Demi were both linking to a story on the Examiner’s website by author Liz Barrett which has been taken down. The Examiner accepts submissions from anyone and the title of the now-removed story was “Look Out, Ashton Kutcher wants to track celebrities on new reality TV show.” That’s not the case as Ashton isn’t involved with the show. It also sounds like this one author took it a step further and decided to call whatever competitions the show was planning “stalking.” Maybe Ashton and Demi will get on board with some reassurance from Twitter that there will be no exploitation or stalking involved. Hopefully the Twitter people are friends of Ashton and Demi on the service, because they have little chance of getting in touch with them through Twitter.

Demi Moore is a lot ballsier than I realized. Thanks to her Twitter we now have photos of Moore missing one of her front teeth. And due to the brevity of Twitter, we have no idea why. Yesterday morning Moore posted a re-Tweet (a link to a post someone else made) of a photo of an ad for sedation dentistry. So far her Twitters have referenced the tooth a little ? noting that she didn?t get an implant ? but haven?t explained what happened or what she did have done.
Haha @charwils65 I personally thought this look went out after you were 8 didn’t know I would be rocking it again!
Thanks @sugarhigh77 was happy to share and always appreciate the opportunity to find humilty!!! Or at least be able to laugh at myself!
Haha @questionoflife are you a dentist? No implant but thank god for modern dentistry!
That means alot coming from you thx for the love HS! RT @hotstewart Gurrrrrl!!! Own that gap in your teeth! OWN IT GURRRRL!! HOT!
lol RT @panina: @mrskutcher i bet that u’ll be the guest star in the new sequel of “LOST ” (MY TOOTH) ;)))
[From Demi Moore?s Twitter]
Moore?s comment on the tooth photo was ?Keeping it real.? She also mentioned that husband Ashton Kutcher wouldn?t re-Tweet the pictures. Apparently he doesn?t find it as funny as Demi does. And considering it?s her smile, it?s great that she can find the humor in the situation. I?m really curious about what happened, and find it a little strange that Demi?s willing to post photos but not at least a vague explanation of how she ended up without a front tooth. Presumably it wasn?t a sudden accident since she posted the dental advertisement photo yesterday morning. Though I suppose something could have happened to her and she just laid low for 24 hours. It?s seriously bugging me though. I want an explanation. And x-rays. I think if she?s willing to post photos, she should go all access.

Twitter isn’t just for 140 characters of useless updates anymore. A suicidal woman’s life was saved by Demi Moore on Friday with the help of Twitter. The woman messaged Moore saying “getting a knife, a big one that is sharp. Going to cut arm down the whole arm so it doesn’t waste time.”
Demi didn’t stop to debate why the woman needed to specify the knife be sharp and burst into action re-Tweeting the message. She wrote, “Hope you are joking” and “Everyone I was very torn about responding or retweeting that woman’s post but felt uncomfortable just letting it go.”
Demi’s 380,000 or so followers jumped into action and phoned the San Jose Police Department about the attention whore. The SJPD confirmed they had received phone calls at around 3 AM and had taken the woman in for evaluation. Moore wrote,
?Thanks everyone for reaching out to the San Jose PD i am told they are aware and no need to call anymore. I do not know this woman,? the actress wrote. ?I am inspired by the enormous response of humanity here and thank you? It is my understanding that the situation was not a joke and that through the collective efforts here action was taken to provide help!?
There you have it. Not only is Demi Moore sexy, rich and famous, but she’s also a national hero. Meanwhile, I’m sitting here pantsless deciding between a hot pocket and Popsicle for lunch.

| Demi Moore's daughters mortified by Ashton Kutcher's online antics | Added 15 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Demi Moore’s teenage daughters are said to be fed up with the foolish, immature way their mom and her young husband are carrying on online. Moore and Kutcher sometimes twitter back and forth, giving fans a stream of texts on their privileged lives, gripes and intimate chat. This is said to be embarrassing for Moore’s three daughters, and the tipping point came when Kutcher twittered a cellphone pic of Moore’s butt in a bikini when she was bending over ironing for him. Rumer, 20, Scout, 17, and Tallulah, 15, had a talk with their mom and step dad and told them to cool it.
Demi’s girls… staged a family intervention after their stepdad posted a picture on the social networking site Twitter of their 46-year-old mom bending over in a bikini…
And an insider revealed: “Seeing their mom and stepdad act like teenagers makes the girls cringe! They think their online exchanges are embarrassing and uncool…”
The last straw for Demi’s daughters - Rumer, Scout and Tallulah - was Ashton’s candid snap of the “Striptease” star’s bottom.
“The girls freaked out when they saw Demi’s butt in the air,” revealed the insider. “They sat Demi and Ashton down and told them they needed to curb their immature behavior.
“Demi said it was just innocent fun, but Rumer shook her head in frustration and said, ‘Grow up, Mom!’”
[From The National Enquirer, print edition, April 16, 2009]
This could be true because I checked out Moore and Kutcher’s Twitter accounts and they seem to be focusing on other things rather than each other at this point. That may be because they’re both in France while Kutcher is filming Five Killers and don’t have the need to keep in touch online when they’re together. If anything their Twitter texts show that they don’t have issues in their relationship and are madly in love with each other. You can see how that kind of modern PDA by their parents would embarrass any teenager.

| Demi Moore calls paparazzi photos 'stealing' | Added 15 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Demi Moore and her adolescent-minded husband Ashton Kutcher are near the top of the “annoying self-obsessed celebrity Twitterers” pyramid, which also counts John Mayer among its members. (There’s a separate category for “celebrities who are fun to watch on Twitter,” and The Real Shaq and Will Wheaton are there.)
Moore tweeted (or twatted, pick your verb) yesterday that she was being accosted by a photographer who she tried to retaliate against by snapping her own photo. She likened the fact that someone was taking pictures of her and one of her daughters in public to “stealing,” clarifying that “If someone takes something without consent for profit it is theft!”

I guess we know now why Demi Moore is always covering her face when she’s confronted with photographers. She has a point that she shouldn’t have her photo taken if she doesn’t consent to it, but on the other hand if she’s so into her privacy why is she broadcasting her day to day activities and intimate text exchanges with her husband online? She’s using three different programs to tweet/twat, because she wants us to have a minute by minute account of her activities and thoughts.
Twitter is fun and can be a nice way for celebrities to connect with fans, but some of these people are taking it too far and they don’t even realize how they’re compromising their own privacy. These celebrities may be choosing to put this information out there, but if they ever regret it they can’t take any of it back. Once a tweet is made it can never be removed either. A while ago I made a stupid tweet criticizing a company I was working with. I deleted it within 10 minutes, but it got indexed by a Twitter search engine and the company found it over a week later. You can never delete a tweet/twat and that’s why I’m not really using it much at this point.
Kutcher bragged on Twitter last week that he enjoys controlling the television remotely from his computer and switching the channel to pr0n while his wife is watching it. He also posted a photo of Demi’s ass as she bent over in a bikini and made it seem like he did it without her knowledge. She doesn’t like her face photographed by strangers but she apparently has no problem with her husband putting her upturned butt online or bragging that they have adult channels on their home TV that he likes to make her watch.
If these people want privacy and they don’t want the additional attention from paparazzi they need to shut up already and stop broadcasting the minutia of their lives online.

| Demi Moore begs dying woman not to have surgery to look like her | Added 15 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here?s a really bizarre story for you. There is a woman in London named Lisa Connell. She?s 29 and found out three years ago that she has an inoperable brain tumor. What?s the one thing she wants to do before she dies? Have all sorts of plastic surgery so she looks like Demi Moore. And can die beautiful.
Demi Moore has urged a terminally ill fan not to have plastic surgery to look like her. The ‘Ghost’ actress doesn’t want 29-year-old Lisa Connell to go under the knife before she dies, insisting she is already beautiful. She wrote on social networking website Twitter: “Wish I could contact this woman Lisa Connell who wants to have surgery to look like me and encourage her to not to! She is a beautiful girl!”
Lisa has terminal cancer and had announced plans she was going to spend $60,000 on surgery in a bid to resemble her idol. Lisa decided to have liposuction, a breast enhancement, an eyebrow lift and work on her skin and teeth shortly after she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in 2006.
She said: “People think I’m crazy for doing this, but I know it will make my last months or years happier? When I was young I used to watch Demi Moore in films like ‘Ghost’ and I longed to look like her? I want to die beautiful, so this is my way of taking back control of my body.”
[From Yahoo! Canada]
That?s all kinds of craziness. I don?t even know where to start, since I obviously don?t want to be harsh towards a woman dying of a brain tumor.
Connell used to run a website called ?Lisa Connell Brain Tumour Fundraising Official Site.? Which sounds normal and sensible enough. But now when you go to the website, you get a message that it?s closed, and you?re redirected to Lisa?s new site, ?Rent a Date for Charity.? It features minor British celebrities that are former reality TV contestant, WAGs (you know, that obnoxious British acronym for the Wives And Girlfriends of footballers), models, TV presenters, and a few models. None of whom I?ve ever heard of, though they?re obviously significantly more famous in the U.K.
The site runs periodic auctions where you can bid on a date with the celeb up for bid. Its goal “is to raise money and awareness for brain tumour charities but not exclusively.” Hmm. Here?s what Lisa says in her own bio on the site (and yes, you can bid on a date with her, too).
Lisa Connell 29 from North London. Diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour two years ago has since made it her goal to raise over 1million for charity through Rent A Date For Charity.
Born in Camden Town 1979 moved to Bath to live with her dad and step mum in 1993 where she spent her teenage years moving back to North London in 1997. Working within property management for the best part of 10 years Lisa was very successful in her job. Moving to Thailand in 2005 having to come back 9 months later due to her illness Lisa now lives and works from her bungalow in North London.
[From Rent A Date for Charity]
There are pictures of Lisa on the site, and when Demi Moore Twittered that she?s a beautiful girl, she wasn?t bullshitting. Lisa really is gorgeous. She also already has a decent resemblance to Demi, which means she?s either already had some surgery, or perhaps she wants to enhance the similarity.
I would think having an inoperable brain tumor at such a young age would make a person really evaluate what they want out of the rest of their life. Actually? I guess in this case it did, and this is what Lisa wants. I was going to say it would likely lead a person to want to travel, or deepen their relationships, find religion? something. Going under the knife to change (I wouldn?t even say ?improve?) your appearance seems an unusual choice. Especially for someone with limited time, who is already so beautiful.
Here?s Demi with husband Ashton Kutcher at the premiere of “Happy Tears” at the Berlin International Film Festival on February 11th. Images thanks to BauerGriffinOnline.

Are Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher no longer practacing Kabbalah? Actually just the opposite, the two were celebrating Purim which is like the Jewish version of Halloween. Seriously how much fun do the Mr & Mrs look like they are having dressed as a priest and nun?
BTW I wonder if Demi used that ruler on Ashton later on?
