Treating herself to some pampering, Kate Beckinsale was spotted hitting up the Byron and Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills yesterday (March 2).
The “Serendipity” actress emerged with a new shorter hairdo in preparation for the upcoming spring season.
Meanwhile, Kate’s babydaddy Michael Sheen says he’s excited for their daughter Lily to see his new flick “Alice in Wonderland,” in which he provides the voice for the White Rabbit.
“When (Lily) first saw the Alice trailer in a theatre with her friends, she told them, ‘That’s my daddy.’ And they were like, ‘How many films is he in? How much longer do we have to put up with this for?’”

Out and about on what was a lovely day, Kate Beckinsale was spotted making her way around West Hollywood on Friday afternoon (February 26).
The “Everybody’s Fine” actress looked cute in jeans and heels and a cardigan as she and a female friend finished up some shopping at the John Varvatos store.
In other news, Beckinsale recently revealed that she was “paralyzed with terror” when her daughter made her big screen debut in “Everybody’s Fine.”
Of 11-year-old Lily Mo’s first role, Kate said, “I was paralyzed with terror for her really - but she was perfectly fine and at the end of it she said, ‘That was great, I just wish it was with somebody famous like George Clooney’.”

Getting in some quality family time, Kate Beckinsale was spotted hanging out with her daughter Lily Mo Sheen in Hollywood yesterday (February 24).
The “Serendipity” actress looked lovely as she showed her little girl the ins and outs of retail therapy at the 1969 Boutique.
In career news, it seems Kate may be reprising her role in the “Underworld” film franchise as the producers are planning a fourth installment.
So far, the “Underworld” films have garnered $300 million worldwide, and Kate’s husband Len Wiseman is already working on the new project.

The happy family strolled along past paparazzi, heading to the Culver City Ice Rink ahead of Lily’s on-ice performance.
The sighting comes amidst speculation as to whether on not Miss Beckinsale will be on board for the new “Underworld” 3-D movie.
According to insiders, Kate is “trying to find a way out of the film - or at least have a smaller role in order to pass the torch.”
Meanwhile, producers desperately want her to continue as the top name, with a decision having to be made soon to meet the projected release date of January 21, 2011.
