Singer Christina Milian was married to music producer The Dream all of 10 months and had a 5 month-old daughter with him back when he was photographed ass grabbing his female assistant this July. The two then announced their separation, with Dream’s rep claiming they split up in late 2009.Divorce papers filed in February tend to support that, but whatever happened it looked like Milian was the wronged party. The Dream later issued a self-pitying statement in which he said that he and Christina were having problems or something and he was only human. He didn’t deny cheating or say that they were split up at the time.
Judging from Christina’s latest interview, she was just as surprised by the photos as everyone else.
29-year-old singer/actress Christina Milian sat down to talk to us exclusively about the cheating scandal that ended her marriage to The-Dream (aka Terius Nash), and how she made it through ?hell and back? to relish her new life as a single mom.
On her failed marriage: ?No matter what, you can?t change who you are. I know that now. I tried to be someone I wasn?t because I wanted my marriage to work. But ultimately, if it?s not working, it?s not working.?
On the cheating scandal: ?I didn?t know anything. But looking back, my gut was telling me something was off. But I thought I could fix it.?
On lessons learned: ?I learned a lot about myself this year. I learned what I can handle. I learned how much I can take. I learned who I am and what I will accept for myself and my daughter.?
On becoming a mom: ?Being a new mother definitely makes me feel so much sexier than ever before. There?s a certain responsibility that I carry being a mom that makes me feel very confident and so blessed. Being a mom is the best thing that?s ever happened to me.?
On what?s next: ?I feel brand new. I?ve been to hell and back, but I survived. I?m stronger for it and now I?m ready for the next phase of my life.?

You see a lot of photos of Christina out with her adorable daughter, Violet, and she looks like such a loving mom. It had to hurt so much to see those photos of her husband with his personal assistant, but at least her suspicions were confirmed. If the guy wasn’t so thoroughly busted he surely would have lied to her about it, continued to treat her like sh*t and then justify his behavior because they were having “problems.” Now she can move on with her life and hopefully make better choices in men.

Showing up for one of the biggest night's in the music world, Christina Milian was on-hand for the 2010 American Music Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (November 21).
Turning up at the Nokia Theatre LA Live venue, the "Dip It Low" singer looked dashing as she worked her way down the red carpet and inside for the night's ceremony which airs live on ABC at 8/7c.
During the course of the show, performers at the 2010 AMAs include the likes of Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha and Christina Aguilera, among others.
Meanwhile, Miss Milian is among the ceremony's scheduled presenters, joining fellow celebs set to dish out trophies including Mandy Moore, Jessica Alba, Nicki Minaj and Willow Smith.

The split up shortly after getting married, and now Christina Milian and Terius Nash (aka The Dream) have come to an agreement on their divorce.
And according to a report, both parties are choosing to settle things without going to court and airing their dirty laundry for all to see.
Miss Milian?s attorney told TMZ, ?Ms. Milian strongly believes that peaceful resolution is better for their child and she is very pleased with the settlement and that it was accomplished out of court.?
Of course, the terms of their divorce are being kept confidential, with the paperwork to be filed with a Georgia court in the weeks to come.

Making for ever the delightful duo, Christina Milian spent her Saturday (October 30) out shopping with daughter Violet in Los Angeles, California.
Clearly in the holiday spirit, the 29-year-old singer and her adorable daughter sported matching purple, violet and Pink outfits with Miss Milian also donning a wig for the Halloween weekend outing.
The mother/daughter excursion comes shortly after Christina took the stage during Los Angeles Fashion Week to offer up a performances of her new song "Zipper" and hit single "Dip It Low".
Miss Milian's stage efforts come as she's putting the finishing touches on her new album, Elope, which will be ready for release next year.

Looking to be snapping back to pre-pregnancy form quite nicely, Christina Milian was spotted refueling at Jamba Juice in Sherman Oaks, California on Tuesday morning (October 12).
Downing a healthily nutritious smoothie beverage, the 29-year-old sported a Gucci fanny pack as she was fresh off of a one-hour hike at a nearby park.
As for dropping the pounds after the arrival of her adorable daughter Violet back in February, Milian recently told Us magazine, "The first month, I lost weight drastically. On top of that, she cooked me a lot of raw vegetables and raw salads and proteins - and it worked! I also drank a lot of water."
Christina also received support from her mom after splitting with babydaddy The Dram, as she said, "I have a very supportive family, so between my mother and my sisters, they are helpful."

Stepping out for some fresh air, Christina Milian was spotted out in Los Angeles, California over the weekend (September 18).
The ?Ghosts of Girlfriends Past? actress and her precious daughter, Violet, stopped in a local Subway to grab something to drink after taking a walk on a nearby trail.
Meanwhile, ever since Milian?s former husband The Dream was caught cheating on her, she has stepped up her workout routine and sex appeal.
The R&B singer, who recently posted seductive pictures of herself on Twitter, is supposedly in the process of putting a portrait calendar together.

The Tennis pro and the singing star looked to be having a great time as they made their exit from the swanky Madeo restaurant.
Serena has been helping Christina in her healing process after splitting up with her husband The-Dream earlier this year.
Prior to her dinner date with Christina, Selena was spotted employing the help of crutches as she lunched at the Ivy restaurant.

Singer Christina Milian’s marriage to producer The Dream has gone the way of Le Conte’s peccary, namely because the ass he’s squeezing in the above picture doesn’t belong to his wife. Married women sorta have a “thing” about that. The Daily Mail says:
It comes just six months after the pair welcomed their first child, Violet Madison Nash.
The split was announced after photos surfaced of The Dream – real name, Terius Hagert Youngdell Nash – holidaying with another woman, believed to be his assistant, Melissa Santiago.
It has also been claimed that the pair’s marriage actually ended late last year, but they decided to keep it private to protect their daughter.
The first question that came to my mind was, “Who and who again?” And then I thought, “Why is today so goddamn boring?” and “Where did I put that bottle of Jack?” and then, “Seriously, are you guys still reading this?” And then I laughed at you, and then I drank some more; and then I felt sorry for you, and then I drank some more; and at that point, I started screaming at the top of my lungs that I loved you and hated you all at once, and by God, you weren’t gonna threaten me, because I would blow your stupid Russian head clean off your fucking shoulders you stupid ungrateful cunt who has… no…. sooooouuul!! AAAAAAUUUGGHHHH!
On second thought, that might have been Mel Gibson. My mistake.

Welcoming a new member to the family, Christina Milian has given birth to a healthy baby girl.
The 28-year-old singer and husband The Dream are the proud parents of daughter Violet, who was born on Friday, February 26th.
According to a People magazine report, a friend of Miss Milian said that everyone was doing well and that little Violet already has “a full head of hair.”
While this happens to be Christina’s first child, her 31-year-old record producer hubby has three children with his ex-wife, Nivea.
