Looking as happy as can be, Britney Spears emerged from seclusion while being spotted out in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday (January 24).
The ?Gimme More? mama smiled from ear-to-ear upon picking up her boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James, from a birthday party at a local playhouse.
And now that the super starlet is engaged to be married to Jason Trawick, recent reports are saying that Brit?s father Jamie Spears is ready to end his conservatorship - which would give Britney complete control of her finances and business decisions, once again.
Although nothing has been confirmed, rumors are suggesting that Spears and Trawick will tie the knot on Valentine?s Day in Maui, Hawaii and, according to a source, ?Jamie wants to go to court in early February so Britney will be a free woman in every sense when she marries.?

Regardless of the continuing tales of Britney Spears’ former bodyguard (and who knows how much of that stuff is really true), it looks like her life is finally coming together full circle. Britney’s now engaged to Jason Trawick, her former agent and (by all reports) good guy, and is looking towards the future. Certainly, she’s still got a long road ahead of her and is not “cured” of her mental illness by any stretch. However, Brit’s father is feeling good enough about his daughter’s well being that he’s asked the court to put an end to the conservatorship that has controlled both Britney’s personal affairs. Great news, right?
She’s well and truly back on the straight and narrow, with a stable relationship and her life back on track. And now it looks like Britney Spears is to finally regain her life and finances officially.
Her father Jamie has been conservator of her affairs for almost four years after her life spiralled out of control in 2007. But as a special gift to mark her upcoming wedding to fiance Jason Trawick, Britney’s father is asking a judge to halt the conservatorship.
[T]he now 30-year-old has put her two failed marriages behind her, regained custody of her sons and moved on in her love life with her former agent Jason.
Now her father is reportedly demanding a judge rescind on the order to mark the pop star’s complete turnaround. A source tells the Sunday Express: “Jamie wants to go to court in early February so Britney will be a free woman in every sense when she marries.” And he’s hoping the order will be dropped in time for her nuptials, which are reportedly due to take place on Valentine’s Day on the Hawaiian island of Maui.
[T]he star is adamant she has managed to overcome her personal struggles thanks to her father and the conservatorship being forced upon her. Last year a source told RadarOnline: “Britney now recognizes that if her father hadn’t stepped in and taken the action that he had, well…. Britney is now crediting Jamie for saving her life. Britney’s relationship with her dad is in a very, very good place now. She was extremely emotional backstage before leaving for the VMAs and kept telling her daddy how much she loves him.”
And back in August those in Britney’s camp were hoping for 2012 to be the year she regained control.
The source added: “After Britney’s tour concludes, which will be at the end of this year, her doctors and advisers are going to meet and confer about how much longer the conservatorship should go on for. There is a very good chance that a decision could be made to pull the plug in early 2012. It’s likely that Britney’s business affairs will still remain under control of the conservatorship though, even if they determine that she no longer needs it for herself personally. The idea is that this will be a gradual transition for Britney to return to her life, on her own.”

Doesn’t it feel like a very long four years since Britney’s dad was given reign by a judge to pull her under control? Most of us have bemoaned the lifeless eyes of medicated Britney throughout the duration of her conservatorship, but I really do believe that she’s happier now than she was while roaming the streets of Los Angeles all hyped up on that sketchy paparazzi boyfriend and whatever drugs that Sam Lufti was popping into her drinks.
Perhaps life will never really be “normal” for Britney. How could it be? But I think things are moving in the right direction for her, and this is a definite step in the right direction.

Continuing along as a newly engaged couple, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick were spotted arriving at JFK Airport in New York City on Friday (December 30).
The ?I Wanna Go? songstress and her former agent beau looked to be in good spirits as they sauntered past paparazzi while hitting the shops almost immediately after leaving the metro terminal.
Just a few days ago, Spears took to Twitter to spread some Christmas joy, writing, ?I had a wonderful Christmas I can't wait for the New Year. Love u all! Xxoo.?
As for the couple?s upcoming nuptials, it is being reported that they will be opting for a ?traditional Southern-style wedding? surrounded by a close group of friends and family as opposed to a glamorous Hollywood wedding.

Fresh off of her BIG engagement news, Britney Spears made the short trip from Los Angeles, CA to Las Vegas, NV to celebrate with her loved ones on Friday evening (December 16).
The "Hold It Against Me" singer and fiance Jason Trawick touched down in Sin City on a private jet before loading into a chauffeured ride and heading over to Planet Hollywood - where the couple was greeted with an array of balloons lining the hotel club's VIP entrance.
After changing into fancier attire, Miss Spears and her hubby-to-be joined family members for a ring unveiling soiree - at which Britney proudly showed off her 3-plus carat round stone ring surrounded by pave-set diamonds, which was designed by Neil Lane.
With the Vegas trip help to toast the couple upon their engagement, the group also happened to be celebrating Trawick's 40th birthday - as the night also included a stop at Chocolate Lounge in the Paris Hotel along with a visit to Chateau nightclub.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Britney happily announced her engagement to Jason earlier in the day, as she joyously tweeted, "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo"
The pop star added a few hours later, "Still glowing! About to jump on a plane to Planet Hollywood in Vegas. Throwing a Bday Party for Jason at Chateau Night Club. So fun. Xxoo"

Fresh off of her BIG engagement news, Britney Spears was spotted deboarding her private jet after touching down in Las Vegas, NV on Friday evening (December 16).
The "Hold It Against Me" singer was helped off the small aircraft while covering up her rock by pulling the sleeves of her black sweater over her hands.
After loading into a chauffeured ride, Miss Spears was shuffled over to Planet Hollywood along with her dad, Jamie Spears, with the group being greeted with an array of balloons lining the hotel club's VIP entrance.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Britney happily announced her engagement to fiance Jason Trawick earlier in the day, as she wrote, "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo"

The ?Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are getting engaged? story has been around for months – it?s equivalent to ?Kirstie Alley lies about her weight? stories and ?Leonardo DiCaprio is boning some random? stories. Everybody knows what?s going on and it?s not really noteworthy to print some random rumor. That being said, I think this engagement story might actually be on. Britney tweeted some stuff last night that made it seem like Jason proposed, and Jason was spotted picking out an engagement ring a short while ago. So? maybe?
Britney Spears is ready to live happily ever after with Jason Trawick! The pop superstar, 30, is now engaged to her former agent, a source confirms to Us Weekly. Trawick popped the question on Thursday night, his 40th birthday, when he and the “I Wanna Go” singer shared a romantic private dinner.
“This is something they’ve both wanted for a long time,” the source explains to Us. “It’s a way to cement their family. They’re both extremely happy and can’t wait to become man and wife.” The spouses-to-be plan to celebrate their engagement Friday night at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
Spears coyly hinted at the big news on Twitter Friday morning, writing: “OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo”
(After wrapping her Femme Fatale world tour in Puerto Rico last weekend, Spears and Trawick — along with Sean Preston, 6, and Jayden, 5, her sons with ex Kevin Federline — moved to a 10,000 square-foot estate outside of L.A.)
The duo first met in 2006 in a professional capacity. Then at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, Trawick began representing the “Hold It Against Me” singer while she was still wed to Federline, 33.
(Spears, who dated Justin Timberlake for three years until 2002, also famously wed childhood pal Jason Alexander in 2004 in a Las Vegas marriage that was annulled within 55 hours.)
Following her late 2006 split from Federline and tough personal struggles in 2007 and 2008, Trawick proved himself to be a true friend to Spears during some of her darkest hours.
Indeed, a source told Us earlier this year, Trawick “was one of the only people who stuck by her through everything.”
By 2009, an on-the-mend Spears was ready to take their friendship to the next level. “Britney has liked Jason for a long time,” a source explained in April. “The fact that they were great friends gave them a foundation for a solid relationship.”
The former teen queen “made the first move,” she told Us — and he quickly took a shine to her adorable little boys. “Jason is just amazing with the boys,” the multi-platinum singer raved to Us. “They look up to him so much — they adore him. He’s their hero.”
“We have such a great time together!” Spears added back in April. (Trawick, who underwent an impressive body makeover and lost 50 pounds in the past two years, even made his acting debut alongside his world-famous girlfriend in her sexy “Criminal” video earlier this year.)

Radar?s sources are confirming this, as if that makes a huge difference. Their sources claims that Jason proposed last night, as he and Britney were celebrating his 40th birthday. The sources also say that the ring Jason picked out is ?classy and under 4 carats.?
So, is there a problem? Kind of. Britney is still under her conservatorship, which means that she?s not legally allowed to make any of the big decisions herself, at least not without her father?s and a judge?s approval. Britney?s conservatorship was used as the ?reason? why Britney can?t give testimony in two pending lawsuits (one with Sam Lufti and one with Elizabeth Arden? and isn?t there something with that former bodyguard too?). Radar?s source says: ?She could get married under the conservatorship, but the judge would have to sign off on it. If that were to happen, lawyers repping Lutfi would absolutely go into court and argue that if Britney were able to get married, she should be able to be deposed. There is no way Team Spears is going to let that happen. It will likely be a long engagement, which is fine with Britney and Jason. They are 100% solid and very much in love.” Meaning that Jason and Britney may be engaged, but they won?t get married for a while, y?all. Not until Britney?s legal issues are disposed of.

According to multiple sources, Britney Spears is getting engaged to Jason Trawick tonight. In Las Vegas. And Britney already knows. Wait, wouldn’t that mean they’re already engaged if Britney knows? Being a celebrity with a conservatorship is so confusing.
Sources say Britney’s conservators have given their stamp of approval. The matter will go before the judge in the conservatorship case but it’s virtually certain Brit will get the judge’s sign off.
And we’re told … Jason did it the old fashioned way … by asking Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears, for permission to marry his daughter.
And they’re also doing it the new-fashioned way … we’ve learned there WILL be a prenup. TMZ
If I didn’t know who Britney was and didn’t know she bastes turkeys with $100 bills, this would be a red flag. It’s almost never a good sign when you ask a girl to marry you and she says she first has to make sure the courts deem her mentally fit to say yes.

Finally back home to get some much-deserved rest, Britney Spears touched down at LAX airport in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday afternoon (December 11).
Clad in an all-white ensemble, the "Hold It Against Me" singer was accompanied by boyfriend Jason Trawick and her two sons, Sean and Jayden, after a long flight from Puerto Rico.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Spears is fresh off of closing out her 79 concert Femme Fatale world tour - with the final show taking place in San Juan.
After the gig's end, Britney thanked all those who bought tickets and helped make the lengthy string of performances happen.
She kicked off her gratitude-filled tweets by saying, "That's a wrap! The Femme Fatale tour is officially over :( Gotta give some end of tour shout outs?"
"To all my dancers - u all are basically family. Thx so much for an unforgettable year!," Britney gushed, adding, "To every single INCREDIBLE person on my crew - none of this would of been possible without you. I'm gonna miss u!"
To close out her appreciative tweets, Spears thanked all those who came out to her many shows, writing, "And last but DEFINITELY not least - to all of the amazing fans who I saw on this journey around the world. <3 u all."

I don?t begrudge Britney Spears anything at this point. I?m just thankful that she seems to have found some good medication, and that she?s in a good place mentally. Sure, I?ll gently tease some aspects of her appearance – like her Busted Weave, or her clothes. But as for Britney?s body? well, I think a lot of it isn?t her fault. I think she?s being medicated, and that affects how much energy she has, and I think her conservator and father?s idea of a ?healthy diet? involves lots of processed foods and lots and lots of grits. Plus, Britney?s had two kids. So she?s a little bit thicker these days – it?s fine. But! This story is still kind of funny – Britney just fired her trainer after he tried to ?restrict? her diet of funions and hot dergs.
Britney Spears? infamous trainer Derek DeGrazio has gotten the boot for restricting her diet too much.
?It was amicable,? says an insider to In Touch. Britney, 30, doesn?t want to worry about every single thing that goes into her mouth anymore. ?She knows Jason loves her no matter what and he has encouraged her not to stress about it.?
