The rumor mill is a turnin'! It is being reported that Paris Hilton was detained by police after they busted her with cannabis on the island of Corsica on Friday (July 16).
According to Gossip Cop, the hotel heiress? private jet landed in Figari, where authorities supposedly found a small bag of marijuana in her handbag.
According to sources in the know, Ms Hilton was released after a short while without being charged.
Not one to stay mum about rumors, Paris recently wrote on her Twitter wall, ?So sick of people making up rumors about me. The latest one about me is completely false too. Don't believe what you read. Silly nonsense.?

Making an effort to go unnoticed, Paris Hilton was spotted sporting a brunette wig while out in Paris, France yesterday (July 15).
The ?House of Wax? actress tried to hide from the paparazzi as she enjoyed some retail therapy in the City of Lights, but ended up ditching the wig when she met up with sister Nicky.
Earlier in the day, Paris was hard at work on a photo shoot aboard a luxury yacht, sporting a beautiful merlot dress and black heels.
Miss Hilton has been greatly contributing to the French economy during her time there, spending up all kinds of dough in the various boutiques.

Dolled up and looking her best, Paris Hilton was spotted aboard a boat for a photo shoot in Paris, France on Thursday (July 15).
With the Eiffel Tower in the background, the hotel heiress worked it for the cameras as she posed in various positions while sporting a beautiful wine-colored dress and black heels.
During the outing, Ms Hilton and sister, Nicky, along with Malaysian millionaire, Taek Jho Low, spent the day on the water soaking up rays and enjoying each other?s company.
Aside from boating, Paris has been doing quite a bit of shopping during her stay in France. She made stops at some of her favorite stores such as Louis Vuitton, Balmain, YSL and Christian Dior.

She?s well-known for her penchant for retail therapy, and earlier today (July 14) Paris Hilton was spotted spending it up in Paris, France.
The ?Simple Life? cutie was accompanied by several bodyguards as she single-handedly boosted the French economy with some serious spending.
And it sounds like Miss Hilton had a great time in Paris yesterday as well, as she took to her Twitter page to share her fun.
She tweeted, ?Such an amazing day today! Had a photo shoot then went on a major shopping spree at al my favorites stores in Paris. Went to Herve Leger, Louis Vuitton, Balmain, YSL and Christian Dior. Got so many amazing pieces. I love the fashion in Paris, absolutely stunning! Loves it!?

The ?Simple Life? babe tweeted pictures of herself in a lavish private plane as she flew to Paris, France, including shots of her swanky airborne bedroom.
Prior to her departure, Miss Hilton also showed off some pictures of her massive collection of Louis Vuitton luggage, proving that she?s definitely not about packing light.
According to a report, Hilton?s fabulous transportation overseas is a $270 million 1979 Boeing 747 owned by Sheldon Andelson, CEO of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation.

With her trip taking an unfortunate turn for the worse, Paris Hilton was detained by police on marijuana charges in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on Friday (July 2).
In town for the World Cup festivities, the hotel heiress was said to have been spotted puffing on a joint during the quarterfinal match between the Netherlands and Brazil at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
According to Dispatch Online, Miss Hilton was escorted by officers from the grounds to a police station in St Croix just before 8PM local time.
After spending a brief amount of time in custody, it was realized that one of Paris's entourage members was the guilty party - with police immediately releasing Miss Hilton.
Her rep tells TMZ, "Paris was detained and questioned by police, after someone in her entourage allegedly was caught smoking marijuana at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, where the World Cup is being held."
The report adds that the drug offender has since entered a guilty plea and was released upon paying a small fine.

Getting all prettied up for a big interview, Paris Hilton was spotted making her way to KIIS FM studios in Burbank, California on Tuesday afternoon (June 29).
The former "Simple Life" star sipped on her bottled water before getting down to business - as she partook in an interview with celebrity-friendly host, Ryan Seacrest.
Heading straight home following the Seacrest chat, Miss Hilton had a full evening ahead of her - as she busily packed for her trip to South Africa for the World Cup.
She tweeted of the efforts, ?Had a great day. Had a bunch of meetings and am now packing for South Africa. So excited to go to The World Cup!?
Up bright and early the following morning, Paris boarded a swanky aircraft bound for Johannesburg, as she wrote to her loyal fans and followers, "This Private Jet takes Huge to Another Level. Loves it!"

The famous heiress sisters both looked summertime sexy as they hit up multiple boutiques on Robertson Boulevard to buy new clothes and accessories for their upcoming trip to South Africa for the World Cup.
Paris took to her Twitter page, saying, ?Went shopping with @NickyHilton at Chanel, Mac and Intermix. Bought so many beautiful things for my trip.?

Miss Hilton happened to be venturing out for work duties, as she's currently gearing up for the August 6th release of a movie in which she has a role called "The Other Guys".
With the action/comedy flick starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, the hotel heiress tweeted of her agenda, "At the studio recording voice overs for this new movie."
Once finished up, it was off to dinner, as Paris wrote to her many fans and followers, "Just got home from a lovely dinner at The Polo Lounge and am now in bed with my puppy Stewie watching Family Guy. I love this show! So Funny"
