Enjoying a little mother/daughter bonding, Sarah Michelle Gellar shared a laugh with her adorable daughter Charlotte as they ventured out in Los Angels over the weekend (December 10).
The "Ringer" star carried her little angel in her arms as she played with a teddy bear en route to a local cafe and ballet class.

Meanwhile, Miss Gellar's new show is currently on hiatus over the holiday season - though it's been a success and has gotten renewed for another batch of episodes.
New installments will begin airing once again on January 10, 2012 with an episode titled "It Just Got Normal"

Are you guys watching “Ringer”? I’ve heard mixed reviews for it, like it’s supposed to be super cheesy but soapy and fun. Sarah Michelle Gellar is enjoying a comeback of sorts with the show, and she has a large loyal fanbase from “Buffy.” The 34 year-old mother of one is on the cover of Self’s December issue looking hot in a little gold sequin mini and off the shoulder sweater. She tells Self that she doesn’t own a scale, that she doesn’t believe in weighing herself at all and just goes by how her clothes fit. She exercises and eat healthy though, and also tries to buy fresh food every day with her husband, Freddie Prinze, Jr.
On working out
I still work out, but not five days a week. I do Pilates, I run on the treadmill, I walk to the soundstage rather than taking the cart. I wish I could say I was in the best shape of my life right now, but I don’t put the same pressure on myself that I used to. So I don’t rock a bikini on Wilshire Boulevard — but I don’t know many people who do!
On not owning a scale
You can’t live your life by the scale. We don’t even have one in our house. I’ve never believed in them, because your weight fluctuates. It’s more about how my clothing fits than a number. Besides, if you deny yourself everything because you’re so focused on the mirror or the scale, then when do you get to enjoy life?”
On being judged by her weight
If you wear one bulky sweater, you’re pregnant or you’re fat. When you’re 5-foot-4 like me, any weight gain can look like a lot. People dissect you for 2 pounds. That can be incredibly difficult, but I don’t take it as personally anymore.
I care only that I’m healthy. Besides, I’m not an actor who is known for her body necessarily. I hope I have a few other things going for me!
On having cake when she wants
Every weekend we?re at two or three parties. Now I?m not going to eat the cake at every one, but when it is homemade or looks particularly good, I?ll indulge.
Really, how is eating a piece of cake bad? Being bad is murdering someone. That?s bad. Don?t do that.
On unplugging
Everybody is on text and Twitter. People don’t have conversations. I turn off my iPhone every evening, and my games aren’t on it. I keep my games only on my iPad, so I don’t have to hear the buzzing of Words With Friends all the time.
On not googling herself
I never Google myself. There has to be something better I can be doing than reading about myself!
On being a mom to 2 year-old Charlotte
Charlotte is my best friend and any free time I have, I want to spend with her. But ? I can?t define myself as only Charlotte?s mother ? one day she?s going to be an adult, and then where am I?
On her relationship with her husband
Freddie and I get our time together, too. Relationships are like flowers: They need attention to grow and develop.
On shopping every day and clipping coupons
People think it?s so expensive to eat like that, but there are ways to do it so it?s not as pricey. We shop at Whole Foods, but we ask which fish is on sale.”
And I clip coupons all the time. Why should you pay for something that someone else is paying less for?

I can’t relate to not using a scale because I usually weigh myself every morning and then I write it down in a little book. This may sound obsessive to some of you, and I know that a lot of diet plans, like Weight Watchers, recommend that you weigh in just once a week because you can get frustrated by the daily changes. For me, though, I need to know that I’m on track and weighing myself is my way of doing that. When you see those numbers go up, you are motivated to reign it in. By the time my clothes start getting tight, that feels too late, you know? Other people have different relationships with food though.
Anyway Gellar also told Health Magazine a couple of months ago that she never looks in mirrors and probably has body dysmorphic disorder. So she may not be stepping on a scale or even looking in the mirror but she’s looking amazing by everyone else’s estimate. She also seems really candid and down to earth. I love that she’s still with Freddie Prinze, Jr. Can you belive that they’ve been married for 9 years!

Sarah Michelle Gellar covers the latest issue of Health and talks about her feeling of insecurity. She diagnoses herself with body dysmorphic disorder and swears she rarely looks in a mirror. She’s just like us! Or, you, rather.
“I’m a female! I totally have body dysmorphic disorder. I think most women do. A make-up artist friend once said, ‘I don’t think I’ve ever seen you look in a mirror’. I’m surrounded by them all the time – you sit in hair and make-up – so I guess I just have this mechanism where I tune it out. So every once in a while, I’ll look and I’ll be like, ‘Wait, that’s what I look like?’
“I just have to remember that I’m human, and I’m a mom. Being a parent changes the vanity at least a little bit. It has to. Your priorities are different.”
I’m the same way about not looking into a mirror. Not because I have body image issues but because if I do, there’s a good chance I might fall in love and stand there for hours staring at myself. I’m so handsome.

Sarah Michelle Gellar covers the October issue of Health to promote her new television show, “Ringer,” in which she plays identical twins. If the show succeeds, this will be her first successful return to television since the conclusion of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” in 2003 after a grand total of 145 episodes. In keeping with the “mirror image” concept of her latest show, Gellar has admitted that she’s not always comfortable with her own body when she catches a glimpse of her own reflection. So basically, she’s just like the rest of us, right?
On Her Body Image: I’m a female! I totally have body dysmorphic disorder. I think most women do. On Going Into Labor At The Gym: It was funny, too, because I was getting cranky, and I said to my trainer, “I’m just cranky today.” She was like, “Maybe it’s because you?re going to give birth!” And I was like, “Nah, not yet.” It turned out I was in labour, I didn’t realise.
On Teaching Healthy Habits To Her Daughter: Well, we’ve already taught her to love healthy food. I think it?s important at a young age to enjoy different tastes. And we make this green juice for her. It’s basically everything but the kitchen sink. We go to the farmers’ market and buy everything and just put it in the juicer: kale, Swiss chard, carrots, celery. You name it. And now we’ve all started drinking it, and we’ve all been healthier.
On Dutchess Kate & Pippa Middleton: It seems like people are worried that Catherine’s stressed. I feel like 10 years ago, it would have been like, “Oh, she looks incredible.” Whereas you look at her sister, who has such a fabulously athletic body. . . I think there’s this movement now, where more women, finally, want to look like that.

Oddly, I had close to the same experience as Gellar with my early stages of childbirth. Perhaps I got lucky and had it easier than most, but I honestly expected much worse and didn’t realize that I was in labor until about eight hours after the process started, and I nearly got to the hospital too late. In addition, I also agree with her that most women in contemporary society have some degree of body image issues although they may or not be clinically described as having body dysmophic disorder itself. Still, Sarah Michelle has a pretty great body, and she seems fairly grounded in life. She’s been married to Freddie Prinze Jr. for nine years, and she’s finally returning to television. Let’s hope she sticks around for awhile.

Spending some quality mother/daughter bonding time, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Charlotte were spotted out for a stroll in Brentwood, CA on Sunday (July 10).
The former ?Buffy the Vampire Slayer? star looked lovely in a gray skirt and white tank as she pushed her little lady in a stroller while chatting with a female companion along the way.
Aside from doting on her daughter, Gellar?s brand new CW show that begins this fall will make its debut at this year?s Comic-Con at the San Diego Convention Center on July 21.
According to Inside TV, ?Ringer? surrounds ?a troubled young woman on the run who hides out by living the life of her wealthy twin sister, until she learns her sibling?s life has a bounty on it as well.? It premieres on the CW on September 13.

She's all set to make a triumphant return to the small screen, and Sarah Michelle Gellar was front and center at the 2011 Critics' Choice Television Awards in Beverly Hills on Monday (June 20).
Held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the "Buffy" babe doled out the trophy for Best Comedy Series while also spending time mingling with new co-star Ioan Gruffudd and the lovely Cat Deeley in the backstage area.
As for her television comeback, Miss Gellar is all set to headline the new CW series "Ringer" - which premieres this Fall on Tuesday, September 13th.
On the show, Sarah plays a character named Bridget Cafferty, who's described as "a recovering alcoholic with a troubled past who flees to New York after witnessing a murder."

Making her way back to nighttime television, an extended preview for Sarah Michelle Gellar's new show ?Ringer? has just been released.
The CW show centers around Bridget Cafferty, who is on the run from the mob and thinks she?s in the clear by pretending to be her wealthy twin sister before realizing there's a price on her sister?s head too.
The drama will begin airing this fall while scheduled to show on Tuesday nights at 9PM.
Of her character, Gellar recently told press, ?This is the person who in the middle of ?The Sixth Sense? yelled out, ?Oh my, God! He?s dead!?? she said about herself. ?Usually I see it coming, and I didn?t see [Ringer's plot twists] coming.?

Stepping out for a morning coffee run, Sarah Michelle Gellar was spotted out in Santa Monica, CA on Tuesday morning (May 17).
The ?Buffy? babe looked rather serious as she sipped on her iced beverage while at one point holding it over her face to avoid the on-hand paparazzi cameras.
As for her current career doings, Sarah will be making a big return to primetime television with a brand new series called ?Ringer? set to air on the CW.
?Ringer? centers on Bridget (Gellar), who is described by a studio release as "a troubled young woman on the run from the mob who hides out by inhabiting the life of her wealthy twin sister, Siobhan, until she learns that her twin?s life has a bounty on it as well."

Traveling with her tot in tow, Sarah Michelle Gellar and adorable daughter Charlotte arrived on a flight at LAX airport on Monday evening (April 4).
The "Buffy" beauty and her baby girl donned similar cute and casual outfits, both sporting fun, flowy tops, black leggings and mid-calf leather boots.
As for the travels, the 33-year-old actress spent time in New York City last month to work on her new highly- publicized pilot for CBS, "Ringer."
Sarah stars opposite "Life Unexpected" alum Kris Polaha in the show's liftoff, which tells the story of a young woman who?s hiding from the mob.

Taking care of her motherly duties, Sarah Michelle Gellar was spotted out in Brentwood with her daughter Charlotte Prinze yesterday (October 31).
The ?Cruel Intentions? actress helped her little one around town during the Halloween trick-or-treat time, herself sporting a Dorothy from ?The Wizard of Oz? costume.
As of late SMG has been concentrating on spending time with her family after having finished up work on ?The Wonderful Maladys.?
Starring Adam Scott and Molly Parker, ?The Wonderful Maladys? is about three adult siblings who lost their parents at a young age.
