She may be only four months pregnant, but Sarah Michelle Gellar’s baby bump is growing at a rapid pace.The Buffy The Vampire Slayer actress, 32, showed off her burgeoning belly yesterday as she enjoyed a spot of retail therapy in New York.Dressed for comfort in the flowing gown, blue cardigan and sandals, Sarah looked like she settling into pregnancy well.Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are reportedly expecting a baby girl. Sources say Gellar, gushed about her unborn daughter on the set of her HBO pilot ?The Wonderful Maladays.??Sarah?s so excited, she?s having a hard time keeping it a secret. She?s been letting little details slip here and there,? says a source. The insider adds that Gellar, 32, is already decorating the nursery. ?Sarah wants the room to look sophisticated, so nothing too frilly or princessy. She?s been shopping for earth tones to mix with plum or magenta accents,? the source says.

Even though Sarah Michelle Gellar hasn't confirmed her pregnancy, I think we can safely say she is expecting a little Buffy. Wonder if now that baby bump, I mean secret, is out, she will make an announcement about Freddie Prinze Jr and her big news.

A few weeks ago it was reported that Sarah Michelle Gellar was pregnant with her first with her husband Freddie Prinze Jr, but she never confirmed or denied the news. Looking at these pictures of her, it definitely looks like she trying to hide something, don't you think?
It seems like she using some of the big TV hide-a-pregnancy techniques…
1 - The oversized scarf draped over the belly.
2 - A large object like a script placed over the stomach.
3 - A shirt several sizes too large to hide any evidence that a baby bump is growing with every shot?
4 - Sitting behind a table or a desk when there is no object to hide the pregnancy.

Good news all you Buffy fans. Sarah Michelle Gellar is pregnant with her first child so that makes her relevant for a day.
I don’t know much about their film or television careers but PEOPLE says Freddie shot a comedy pilot called No Heroics and will shoot another pilot for HBO called The Wonderful Maladays. Two shows which will probably never be picked up because it’s Freddie Prinze Jr.
Congrats go to these two. A word of advice, however. Never put on a Freddie Prinze Jr. movie while Sarah is still pregnant. There’s a 90% the kid will abort itself.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting their first child together, a source close to the couple confirms exclusively to PEOPLE. “They’re very excited,” says the source, adding that the actress, 31, is due in the fall.
Gellar, who has been married to Prinze, 33, for six years, will next shoot the HBO pilot The Wonderful Maladays, for which she serves as an executive producer. Prinze recently shot the comedy pilot No Heroics for ABC.
You know, I willingly watched the first of those Scooby Doo movies, but I was drunk as anything at the time and I still thought it was godawful. And while I liked “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” a lot, let’s face it, Sarah Michelle Gellar hasn’t really mattered in at least five years. I don’t think Freddie Prinze, Jr. ever mattered at all. It’s great and whatnot that these two seemingly happy campers are spawning, but unless this thing is a girl and someday ends up being cast as the new Slayer (and doesn’t fuck it up), then I couldn’t really care less.
I do, however, have this to add:
Buffy: Did Mr. Whitmore notice I was tardy?
Xander: I think the word you’re searching for is absent.
Willow: Tardy people show. And yes, he did notice, so he wanted me to give you this. [hands Buffy an egg]
Buffy: As far as punishments go, this is fairly abstract.
Willow: No, it’s your baby!
Buffy: Okay, I get it even less.
Xander: You know it’s the whole sex leads to responsibility thing, which I personally don’t get. You gotta take care of the egg, it’s a baby. You gotta keep it safe and teach it Christian values.
Willow: My egg is Jewish.
Xander: Then teach it that dreidel song.

There were some rumors going around last week that Sarah Michelle was about to sign on to a film version of her most popular work, the television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The reports seemed weak at the time, and even worse now. Buffy fans will probably have to wait a few more years to see Sarah Michelle as Buffy again.

Finally Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr are going to be parents according to People. The adorable couple that have been married for 6 years are expecting their first Buffy or Fred in the fall!!!
I wonder if Alyson Hannigan becoming a mother influenced her former-Buffy co-star to become one herself. Talking about Buffy there were rumors earlier in the week that Sarah Michelle was thinking of reprising her role as Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I wonder if this news puts a stake in that rumor?
