Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing made a big show of bringing several top models to Cannes yesterday. Balmain is pretty model-heavy these days, and the Balmain brand is now all about glitz and glamour (rather than innovative design). One of the big ?gets? for Balmain was the reappearance of Irina Shayk, who only gave birth to her first baby back in late March (daughter Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper). I get that her body bounced back like crazy and she?s all about the modeling work, but seriously? there will be other film festivals! Irina?s look here is Balmain, obviously.
Lara Stone also wore custom Balmain. Her body is bangin? and this dress shows it off, but this just seems sort of meh?
I love Doutzen Kroes and she has my dream body. But this silver Balmain dress is kind of meh. Granted, she elevates it. I would loathe this on a Kardashian, but on Doutzen, it?s okay.
Elsa Hosk is really feeling herself in this wrinkled Alberta Ferretti ballgown. Elsa is also my candidate for the annual Who Wants To Be Leo DiCaprio?s New Girlfriend event.
Tina Kunakey wore Armani and I honestly love this dress. It?s really pretty and summery and cute. If the v-neck was a little bit higher, I would wear this with a light cardi and flip-flops.

I genuinely find Irina Shayk to be one of the most beautiful models around. My favorite is still Doutzen Kroes, but I really like Irina?s ?look.? But not here. This just goes to show you: you can be arguably one of the most beautiful women in the world, and there are still looks and hair colors that you can?t pull off. Irina Shayk can?t pull off blonde. Now we know. Irina posted the above photo to her social media, writing: ?Who said I can’t be blonde?? I DO. I say you shouldn?t be blonde, not that you can?t.
Irina tagged the photo with Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott?s names, so I?m assuming this is for a magazine editorial, or possibly an ad campaign. In other words, it?s likely temporary and she?ll be brunette again in no time. I?m sure some of you will even theorize that it?s a wig, but I really don?t think so? I?ve been fooled before though, so who knows?
Meanwhile, Irina is still going strong with Bradley Cooper, despite the now monthly tabloid reports of an impending split. They were out in NYC just a few days ago, holding hands ? go here to see the photos. Meanwhile, did anyone else read Lainey?s blind item last week and immediately think of B-Coop and Irina? The other man has a very beautiful girlfriend. And it?s been a while since he?s had a very young boyfriend. Getting wild with young, ripped men has been a compulsion for him. But since she came around, he?s been able to deny those desires and has committed to straight living. It helps that there?s a payment plan. Multiple independent sources have told me over the last week that the story going up and down her circle is that on the 15th of every month she receives a direct deposit amounting to almost a million dollars. So I suppose he sees it like an investment?

The only part (literally, the only part) that makes me question if this is really B-Coop and Irina is the money stuff. I?m not sure Bradley would be so free with the money, and I question whether he would drop $10-12 million a year for a girlfriend (or ?girlfriend?). And does he have that kind of money to blow? Cough cough blow cough.
PS… Her brows are really throwing me off too. Right?

The 30-year-old supermodel threw on a skimpy bikini top for the impromptu photo shoot and smiled brightly while her posing partner looked significantly less amused.
Earlier in the week, Irina teased fans with still more social media posts, along with the caption, ?Secret project #MondayMorning,? begging the question- just what is Bradley Cooper?s girlfriend up to these days?!

She?s fronted campaigns for the likes of Guess, Bebe, Intimissimi and Avon, and now Irina Shayk is broadening her horizons even more with a new L?Oreal Paris contract.
The Russian supermodel was just named as an ambassador for the French cosmetics brand, joining the ranks of Karlie Kloss, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lopez and Blake Lively.
On their official Instagram account, L?Oreal Paris posted a photo of Ms. Shayk along with the caption, ?Welcome to the #lorealista dream team @irinashayk!? Irina also tweeted, ?I?m so excited and honored to announce that I am joining the @lorealparisofficial family as their new international spokesperson!!?

These days she?s a household name, but Irina Shayk told Fashion magazine that she began life in virtual obscurity.
The 29-year-old supermodel explained, ?Growing up I was born in the middle of nowhere, in a place called Yemanzhelinsk. My father was a coal miner, my mother a piano teacher. We had a garden because in Russia to survive you have to have a garden. We planted tomatoes, potatoes and cucumbers. I had to take care of it after school and help my mother.?
As for how she got discovered, Irina noted, ?My older sister went to a beauty school that was next door to a modelling school, and she asked me to join her there. One day an agent approached me. He's the one who discovered Natalia Vodianova and all the big Russian models. He wanted me to go to Paris. After a couple of months I said yes; I thought it might be a great opportunity to help my family.?
