Last Sunday, the latest season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiered. I didn?t watch it. I never watch it. But I do sometimes enjoy reading the recaps, and on Monday, there were so many recaps involving Khloe Kardashian. Apparently, this season was filmed in the immediate aftermath of Khloe and Tristan Thompson?s break up. Khloe claimed in the episode that Tristan was doing the most to win her back, from sending flowers to texting her constantly to hugging her just before True?s birthday. Personally, I think Khloe sounded utterly delusional and like she was pushing this ?I?m so desirable, he?s still all over me? fantasy. He literally cheated on her constantly and she still clung to him. No one is buying her narrative.
So instead of covering that, I?m choosing to cover this part of KUWTK: whether or not Kourtney Kardashian is going bald because of too-tight ponytails and high buns.
Kourtney Kardashian was quick to take action after discovering a small bald spot on her head. On Sunday?s season 17 premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney, 40, took a trip to the doctor in order to address her hair problem.
?Today I?m getting PRP [platelet-rich plasma], which is where they take your blood and spin it and they use your plasma and they inject it in my head for my hair to grow back,? she said. During her visit with Dr. Jason Diamond, the reality star was told that while she should ?be fine,? it could ?take a long time? before everything was back to normal.
?I definitely think that we should get some injections in there,? Diamond told Kardashian. ?I think you probably need two or three series, maybe once a month for the next three months and I think you?ll be fine.?
Fans were first alerted to Kardashian?s hair troubles days before the season premiere, in a trailer that showed Kim Kardashian West advising her sister to go to the hospital. ?Kourtney, you have a really big spot on the top of your head,? Kardashian West, 38, said. ?Look down, Kourtney. Oh my god, I?m afraid for your life. Have you seen that??
?No, but I feel it,? her older sister replied, explaining that she blamed the lack of a hair on having recently worn an extremely tight, high ponytail at a February gala. ?It?s a hole in my head. I swear it?s from my ponytail, it was so tight that I had a bump on my head like this.?

I think it was probably the high pony, but a lot of women experience hair loss too, just not as profoundly as most men. As I get older, the texture of my hair keeps changing it used to be super-fine, oily and mostly straight. Nowadays, my hair person is always like ?maybe you need a hot oil treatment or a good conditioner.? No, it?s just my hair now. Thank God I don?t have any bald spots though it?s bad enough that I have so much grey all over. As for the Kardashians: all of the weaves can cause hair loss too, right? As for the solution of using PRP injections on the bald spot? wow. I truly didn?t know that was an option.

Kourtney Kardashian turned 40 last April. She threw herself a big bash with her friends, her exes and a cake featuring her favorite pastime, showing her derriere. She?s just launched her lifestyle brand, Poosh. She?s in great shape, thanks to her keto diet. All in all, a great way to start off this next decade. But, as we learned from the latest KUWTK Sneak Peak, this isn?t the case. Kourtney tells sister Khloe that 40 has made her anxious about where she is in life and where she?s going.
?I do think that turning 40, like it almost makes you analyze like where you?re at in your life,? Kourtney told Khlo, 35. ?It?s just giving me anxiety.?
When Khlo asked what Kourtney was specifically thinking about, the mother of three ? she shares sons Mason, 9, and Reign, 4, and daughter Penelope, 7, with ex Scott Disick ? admitted that she wished she had more time.
?Now that I?m doing Poosh, I just always wish I had more time,? Kourtney said, noting her lifestyle website, as she began to tear up. ?I feel like I want to cry,? she said.
When Khlo asked ?Why?? Kourtney admitted, ?it gives me anxiety.?
Kourtney tearfully explained that she doesn?t ?know why because then I?m like I have so much and I should just be so happy.?
?But you?re not happy?? Khlo inquired.
?I mean, I am,? an emotional Kourtney replied. ?But then sometimes I?m just like it makes you really like analyze just like where you?re at and then I?m like sometimes, ?What am I doing?? ?
As Kourtney wiped away tears, Khlo asked, ?What are you doing wrong??
While Kourtney believed she was doing ?nothing? wrong, and that she was ?just living life,? she did admit: ?but then sometimes I?m like I?ll just do stupid s? to like distract from really thinking about stuff that is maybe more important. I don?t know. But then half of me is like, ?Live your life, have fun.? ?
Attempting to comfort her older sister, Khlo shared, ?But if that makes you happy, you know that?s completely okay for your life. What if you enjoy the life that you have right now? If you?re happy, that?s all that should matter for any of us. But I really don?t think your soul is happy. I think you feel incomplete somewhere that you?re scared.?

You can watch the clip here. The backdrop is Kourtneys beautiful backyard with kids happily playing in the pool. Kourtney spends as much time trying to keep her makeup from running as she does expressing where her head is. But that?s the only snark I will throw at her over this because I actually feel a little bad for her. Like Jada Pinkett Smith said recently, a lot of folks think if you have money, pretty real estate and an extensive wardrobe, you should be happy. As if that?s all thatmakes up happiness. But material trappings don?t equate to peace of mind. I only know the Kardashians through clips. It could very well be that Kourtney is a spoiled brat who doesnt want to work. But I remember when she and Kim had their big blowup (although I suppose any conflict aired on KUWTK should be put in quotes) about Kourtney not working as hard as the other sisters. The line being pushed was that Kourtney is lazy, but I got a whiff of despondency to her un-involvement. Maybe I?m just feeling generous today, but I now see her her Paper Magazine interview in different context. In that article, she said she never expected KUWTK to go anywhere. I wonder, if she went back in time, if she?d choose to be involved with it. And maybe Poosh is more about filling a hole in her and not a hole in the oversaturated lifestyle market. Or maybe she wants to walk away but doesn?t know who she would be if she did, and considers herself too old now to find out.
Or, who knows, maybe this is all just another ?life crisis? conceived in the KUWTK writers room.

All week, I?ve been avoiding Poosh, which is Kourtney Kardashian?s new lifestyle site. Kourtney is the Kardashian sister who is the least interested in branding and co-branding her lifestyle, but I do know that this whole Poosh thing was years in the making. As far as I can tell, the launch of the site went well no big or small technical difficulties, and there was some buzz about it. It feels like these kinds of lifestyle sites were the thing to do about four or five years ago, but nowadays, there aren?t that many people who are just now trying to replicate the model Gwyneth Paltrow gave people with Goop.
That being said, by the time I actually went to Poosh go here I was actually sort of impressed? Kourtney has good people working on her site, and the editorial layout reminds me a bit of the American Vogue site. It?s user-friendly and it?s not banging people over the head with spon-con and advertising. The content is very Goop-lite it?s all about diets and ?looking good naked? and bargain basement pop-culture feminism.
Weirdly, the worst part of Poosh is the name? Is it poooo-sh or PAAW-sh? Apparently, Kourtney named it after her daughter Penelope, whose nickname is Poosh. Kourtney released a statement about the launch, saying:
Named for her 6-year-old daughter Penelope, who is affectionately called Poosh, the site caters to women who carry the same spirit of ?playing by their own rules, coloring outside of the lines and celebrating life with an infectious confidence and ease.?
People are constantly asking me how I do it all, from being a single mom to working full-time to still maintaining a social life,? Kardashian said in a statement. ?I get endless questions about food, kids, beauty and fashion, so I decided to create Poosh, a curated experience and a destination for modern living.?

What do you think? I?m glad it?s not a paywalled/subscription thing. I?m happy that she got professionals to design it and operate it. But yeah, I don?t think many people really were clamoring for Kourtney?s secrets. Still, at least she has a ?thing? now. Her thing used to be ?being lazy and morose.?

Here are some photos from Saturday night?s LACMA Art + Film Gala, which is usually one of the bigger A-list events of the LA social calendar. This year?s fall event honored the filmography of Guillermo del Toro and the work of photographer Catherine Opie. The event was sponsored by Gucci, and like always, most of the women wore Gucci. I always wonder why Gucci wants to completely burn their entire collection in one fell swoop on one event I mean, no celebrity is going to want to wear ANY of these dresses to another event for the rest of the season. It?s weird, right?
Weirdly, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian were smart about wearing Gucci they didn?t go for new pieces from the latest collection, they picked out some ?vintage? Gucci. This looks like Tom Ford-era Gucci to me, and by that I mean? late ?90s, dark witch slipdress realness. I enjoy it.
Speaking of dark witch realness, I?m actually really enjoying Dakota Johnson?s witchy vibes lately. She wore this witchy Gucci dress to the event it?s from Gucci?s Spring 2019 line, so this witch-wear is burned. No one else will wear it on any red carpet now.
Oh, here?s Lana Del Rey to really bring the dark witch realness. Lana wore some Gucci Spring 2019 witch wear. I love her, but this dress is horrendous.

While I havent weighed 100 pounds since I hit double digit ages, I would like to point out that Kourtney Kardashian is quite short. Shes just 5 feet tall, so 100 pounds puts her at a BMI of 19.5 which is not underweight. At her height she wouldnt be underweight unless she lost about six pounds. So shes thin but not worryingly so and she doesnt look sickly or anything. Still, its kind of shocking to hear someone say that they try to keep their weight at a hundred pounds. Kourtney made this admission through a source quoted on People. Apparently she was eating on KUWTK and people trolled her for it. She responded because its her job to respond to trolls. Then someone told People that she tries to maintain at a hundred pounds which isnt underweight.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 39, spoke out on Twitter after getting criticism and jokes about eating throughout Sunday?s episode.
?I swear I just read 100 comments about me eating on tonight?s episode and some of you are very offended. Let me live,? Kardashian tweeted, along with a laughing face and several food emojis.
The 5?0? mom of three is known to try out trendy diets, like keto and intermittent fasting, and stays committed to her workouts. A source tells PEOPLE that she works to keep her weight consistent.
?She works out and eats in order to try to stay around 100 lbs.,? the source says, adding that Kardashian doesn?t want to get too skinny. ?Yes, she eats very healthy but she wants her body to be healthy and not underweight or malnourished.?
Kardashian also has to focus on keeping her weight up, because ?her body type is very different from her sisters?,? the source says. Kim and Khlo have long documented their efforts to lose weight
Kardashian tries to eat organic foods as much as possible, and limits her sugar intake.
?I always try to avoid sugar ? especially refined sugar ? for so many reasons,? she previously said on her app. ?First, sugar is addictive and I notice that after I eat it, I need it. Sugar doesn?t sustain you when you actually need energy, like for a workout. Also, when I eat sugar, I find that more cellulite appears.?
But, like everyone, Kardashian gives herself a break from time to time.
?When I?m traveling (and sometimes on the weekend), I?ll cheat?I?m a little more lenient now than I was when I first started this whole thing,? she said. ?But when I?m home and in my day-to-day routine, I try to exercise five to six times a week and eat healthy every day.?

As I mentioned, technically thats not underweight. We shouldnt concern troll people for being any weight though. Plus, its also her job to be hot and post revealing photos. Also to date young guys. Shes really quite boring but shes filling that role of the hot boring sister. She has relationships on her own terms and has less drama in that department relative to her sisters. She dealt with Scotts drunken mess for years and then she dated dudes who wouldnt challenge or cheat on her. When the last one did cheat on her she dumped him and switched him out for a younger model. Also, she tells no lies about sugar being an evil cycle *eats another Hersheys kiss* Protip: put chocolate and candy in the freezer. It slows you down somewhat, but not totally. At least its an effort to eat the whole bag.

You know how Kourtney Kardashian is the sister who seems the most normal and the least hard-working? (Even according to her sisters shes not upholding the family brand.) Shes good at getting papped with whichever guy shes dating, wearing clothes well talk about when were bored because they arent as fug as her sisters outfits, and posting revealing photos of herself to Instagram. She has a formula and she sticks to it. Sometimes shell post pseudo-scientific wellness junk, but overall she stays with what she knows, and thats dating younger guys and looking hot.
Kourtney, 39, was spotted out in LA going to dinner with a 20 year-old model named Luka Sabbat. She was last with a 25 year-old model named Younes Benjamin for a little over a year, but Younes didnt like it when Kourtney posted thirsty pics to Instagram. They broke up, got back together for a minute, Younes cheated on Kourtney (or broke his contract by being seen with another woman) and they have obviously broken up again because Kourtney replaced him with another younger model already.
On Friday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 39, was seen outside The Nice Guy in Los Angeles with 20-year-old actor and model Luka Sabbat.
Kardashian dressed up for the occasion, wearing a sparkly white mini-dress that clung to her curves, while Sabbat wore a low-key black t-shirt with matching pants and sneakers.
Sabbat is close with the famous siblings and was one of the lucky famous faces who scored an invite to Kylie Jenner?s 21st birthday party in August. He also was in attendance for the Kardashian?s Labor Day party earlier this month, as was the newly single reality star.

Kourtney is going to be like that. Shes going to get older and still be as hot because shes Kourtney and doesnt look half as plastic as her sisters, and her boyfriends are going to stay the same age. Has enough time passed to properly mourn the death of KourtnYou so we can discuss it? I mean, everyone none of us could have predicted Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima wouldnt last, but alas, they didnt. Now they want us to talk about their split, which I guess is our punishment for not caring enough to talk about them when they were together. So here?s the latest: Kourtney is not messing around. She dumped Younes when he became a drag and she?s not looking back. And all that?s fine, I could sign off on this story if that was the end of it. But it?s not the reason she?s deleted Younes from her phone is because she?s not one to deal with ?drama.?
Kourtney Kardashian isn?t looking to make the same mistake twice.
After breaking up with boyfriend Younes Bendjima earlier this month, a source tells PEOPLE that Kardashian, 39, has cut off contact with her former beau.
?Kourtney is doing great,? the source says. ?She isn?t seeing Younes. She is happy being single for now.?
And after a tumultuous nine-year relationship with ex Scott Disick, Kardashian exactly knew when it was time to call it quits with Bendjima, the source says.
?After all the drama with Scott over the years, she wasn?t going put up with any drama from Younes,? the source says. ?She cut him off. She is focused on her kids and herself.?
?Kourtney doesn?t play games. She seems okay with [the breakup],? the source added. ?Younes was always supposed to be a rebound.?

Drama is all this family puts up with. They can take the most mundane issue and blow it up, resulting in #teams and silent treatments. Even this story is trying to incite some drama by claiming to be drama-free. As we know, Younes was caught canoodling in Mexico with a mystery lady. But Younes said he wasn?t cheating because he and Kourt were already done. Kourt?s camp claimed that they weren?t done, but the relationship was having trouble ever since they returned from their latest European vacation so they?d cooled off. But now they?re done because he?s a big cheater and, I guess, because she said so. This reads a little drama-ey to me, but maybe that means that Kourtney is finally doing her job.
And I understand the ?not making the same mistake twice? point, but her relationships with Scott and Younes are not equitable. As mentioned, Younes was a rebound that proved mutually advantageous for both so it lasted longer than anyone expected (the couple included). Scott and Kourtney share three children and a lucrative contract for their reality show. He was never going to disappear from her life.
As for what the future holds for Kourtney and Scott?s love life, it depends on who you ask. Kourtney maintains that she will never get back together with Scott. Scott, on the other hand, supposedly has on/off girlfriend, Sofia Richie, strapped to the ejection seat to make room for Kourt if she deigns to take him back. I don?t have a bet on this race but my guess is that Scott and Kourtney will commence their ?will they? or won?t they?? dance for the cameras but ultimately, won?t.
