Ready to spend more time in the world of movies, Blake Lively was ready to appear with Julianna Moore, Robin Wright, and Maria Bello in “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.”
But a part that involved the Gossip Girl star in underwear made her rethink if this was right for her career.
The 22-year-old said, “It was an odd thing to do but really funny. There was a point when I was crawling on all fours and Julianne was like ‘purr for me’ and I thought ‘what am I doing with my life? I’ve finally got the most respectable job of my career yet I’m being leashed up and asked to purr. But Julianne is such a wonderful, kind and happy person so that made it easy to feel safe crawling around leashed up.”
And one thing Lively loves to do is keep busy, even with friends encouraging her to take a break. “I always have to keep myself really really busy and I can’t stop. All my friends are like ‘oh you don’t need to do something right now, just take a day for yourself. Take a couple of minutes to sit down; you don’t have to do all that.’ My biggest problem is I fill my life with too much business that I don’t need to worry myself with.”
But it’s in the actresses’ nature, growing up with four other siblings, although she doesn’t expect any children of her own anytime in the future soon. “Seeing my parents have their hands full, it was in my nature to want to make the people around me happy.”

I have been tracking the braless trend and it makes a lot of sense if you have perky breasts. I have seen the trend in many forms, but generally it means that you just don't wear a bra and let it all hang out. That does not mean that it is all great. For instance, Lindsay Lohan or Anneliese Louis van der Pol or Rumer Willis were disasters.
On the other hand, Britney Spears or Lilly Allen or Eva Mendes were awesome dressing without a bra.
Now Blake Lively takes it one step farther by even abandoning the shirt and simply wearing a jacket. Hmmm...sounds like a great way to save money.

Blake Lively was dressed to impress and looked great at the premire of “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.” And though most guys that check out this sight reguarly will agree that Blake is most definitely our type, I don’t suspect this movie will be. Yep, it’s a chick flick. But who cares? The only chick I care about right now is the beautiful Blake Lively because she is rocking this odd outfit in a seriously sexy way! It’s different, but I hope to see more women wearing this kind of stuff around the mall.

This is Blake Lively at a screening of The Lives of Pippa Lee last night in New York. That?s right - New York! Not Los Angeles, where this outfit might be slightly weather-appropriate. Blake wore what boiled down to a pair of hotpants and a fitted, barely-there blazer? and nothing else. Now, I love me some Blake (I think she?s gorgeous), but her fashion sense sometimes falls on the wrong side of ?oh my God put on some clothes and stop showing everyone your ladies?. This is one of those times. I would maybe (maybe) accept this blazer/jacket thing with nothing underneath, if Blake had paired it with a nice skirt (that didn?t show her cooch) or a pair of actual pants (which I don?t think Blake owns). This girl and her short shorts. In late fall/early winter! It?s crazy.
In other Blake/fashion news, the rumor going around is that Victoria Beckham has selected Blake Lively to be the face of her Spring 2010 collection. It?s just a rumor at this stage, but I could see it happening. Blake wore Beckham to an event a few weeks ago, and she looked really cute.
Not happy with being her own living embodiment of her brand, Victoria Beckham has reportedly enlisted the help of Gossip Girl star Blake Lively to model her Spring 2010 collection of dresses. The blonde actress who is known for playing Serena van der Woodesen on the hit television series met Beckham in New York during fashion week this September and ?got along famously? the Daily Mail reports.
The new found friendship has reportedly also ready resulted in a guest appearance by Beckham on Gossip Girl so only time will tell if Lively will return the love by modeling for her.
Lively has been seen on red carpets wearing Beckham?s Spring 2010 designs, but it was Gossip Girl?s Blair Waldorf (played by Leighton Meester) that has worn her designs on the show.
Meanwhile, earlier this month Beckham told Britiah Harpers Bazaar about how she would like to dress Burberry model and Harry Potter actress Emma Watson, calling her ?so sweet, so true to herself?. So perhaps she?s just putting a few iron?s in the fire to see who says yes first?

Meh. It may be a smart collaboration - God knows, I doubt Posh could get anyone more famous or fashionable. Emma Watson is a pipe dream at this point - Emma?s the face of Burberry, for the love of God. Like Emma would deign to wear Posh?s clothes. As for the business side of the alleged venture - well, the kids like Blake, and Blake likes wearing tight clothes. Makes sense to me. Let?s hope Posh?s Spring line isn?t dominated by booty shorts!

Celebrity Blake Lively was sighted in Los Angeles looking LA leggy! The “Gossip Girl” actress went a very short skirt and super high heeled shoes! Now, this is the kind of fashion that will get any celeb popular with photographers, so I think we can expect more Blake Lively skin in the future. I mean why quite now? We’ve seen plenty ofthose legs over thepast year. But what else could we expect from someone that failed the first grade? Ok,it really was not Blake’s fault.
“When I was only 3 years old, my mom enrolled me in the first grade. My older brother was supposed to start school, but he didn’t want to go alone, so my mom told them I was 6 since I was so tall. But after a few weeks, they said they would have to put me in mentally disabled classes because I wasn’t up to pace with the rest of the kids. They thought that I was slow because all I wanted to do was sleep while the other kids were doing their projects. [laughs] So my mom took me out of school.”

They’re always up for a good time, and last night (November 15) Blake Lively and Penn Badgley ended out their weekend with a swanky movie premiere and after-party.
The “Gossip Girl” costars/real-life couple hit up the AMC 19th Street in New York City for the premiere of “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.”
And both Penn and Blake were dressed to impress as they arrived at The Cinema Society and A Diamond is Forever-hosted event, stopping to pose for the paparazzi before heading inside.
Afterwards, the CW couple headed off to the ACE Hotel nearby for the exclusive after-party festivities.
