Getting back to work on her hit CW drama, Blake Lively was busy on the set of “Gossip Girl” in New York City on Tuesday (January 12).
Decked out in her stylish attire, the Serena van der Woodsen sweetheart boogied on down Madison Avenue as the cameras followed her every move.
Aside from her “Gossip Girl” work, Blake recently filmed the upcoming Ben Affleck directed movie “The Town” in Boston, MA.
Talking about Blake’s audition, Ben recalls, “This girl came in, and no one had said to me beforehand, ‘Hey, look for this person.’ And obviously she was really attractive, and so I thought, Oh, here comes some blond girl. She came in, did one reading, and just crushed it.”
Continuing with his praise, Affleck also mentioned being impressed with her east coast accent, telling, “I was sort of stunned. I said, ‘Jeez, you know, that was really f—king good. Who are you?’ She didn’t mention that she was on a television show.”

Blake Lively wears a leather jacket and no pants on the cover of February’s Esquire.She tells the magazine that her “Gossip Girl” character Serena’s revealing get-ups are not all that different than her own.“I can snap into Serena very easily,” she said. “The way I dress as Serena is pretty much the way I dress as me. I’m living in New York City, shooting in New York City. I’m in a comfort zone.”

As some of you know, I like Blake Lively. I don?t think she?s God?s gift to acting or anything like that, but I find her very beautiful, albeit augmented and enhanced. Still, all of those enhancements made her one of the prettiest young things going, so show some respect. Or don?t, whatever, I?m not that invested in her.
One of the things that cracks me up about my girl Blake is that she?s pretty much incapable of being fully clothed. This goes for the characters she plays, the red carpets she walks, the magazine covers she appears on. Blake is all about her T & A. Now, her T&A are spectacular, but still. I just want to shake her and say ?You don?t have to show everything all the time, Blake!?
So it is with Blake?s appearance on the February issue of Esquire Magazine. Blake is pantless, yet again. Damn? she?s got great legs. I?m so jealous of her thighs. Surprisingly, though, her boobs aren?t on display. Doesn?t Blake know that she?s appearing on a men?s magazine? What gives?
Anyhoodle, Esquire has only released a few little snippets from the interview with Blake (courtesy of Huffington Post), Blake talking about her character on Gossip Girl: ?”I can snap into Serena very easily. The way I dress as Serena is pretty much the way I dress as me. I’m living in New York City, shooting in New York City. I’m in a comfort zone.” In addition to Gossip Girl, Blake recently filmed a supporting part in The Town, directed by Ben Affleck, which will be out later this year. There were some rumors going around about Blake and Ben, but they seemed to leave just as quickly as they came, so maybe there was nothing there.
Blake also recently cast in The Green Lantern, which will star Ryan Reynolds as you guessed it. Blake will be playing ?the girl? - only the girl is an engineer or something. God knows how she?ll pull that off. She?ll probably be the only aerospace engineer in booty shorts. And finally (I?m betting Esquire will want to release their interview more quickly in the future, hmm?), I want to put this blind item out there, mostly because everyone thinks it?s about Blake and Harvey Weinstein:
It was mystifying several years ago why she was hyped the way she was hyped. Just another starlet with no real significant starring vehicles somehow ending up with a prestigious magazine cover proclaiming her as the next It. Well It never happened. And after all this time and a string of failures, she?s been trying to change the course. So she?s gone back to the major player who tried to make it happen for her the first time. There was an arrangement back then ? her sexual services for his professional services ? and apparently the same arrangement was resurrected recently in the hopes that she?ll finally confirm a juicy role to kickstart a stagnant career.
Never mind that he?s married. His wife benefits handsomely from his generosity and while he may not fulfill her with fidelity, he certainly makes up for it through client exchange. Probably better that way. And given what he looks like, it totally makes sense. But he is a legend in the business? both for his accomplishments and for the way he leads these ladies to their accomplishments, counting a couple of award winners and a few box office heavyweights on his resum?which is why he quickly tired of our poor girl and discarded her.
But not before drying her out. One day late summer, they were joined in a hotel suite by a third gentleman (identity insignificant), both of them enjoying her as she allowed herself to be taken, and, um, decorated appropriately, all for a reward at the end of the session ? the privilege of simply looking at a script, no promise, no confirmation?just an advance read. And a suggestion to show up at a premiere for a few introductions. She is so desperate, it?s been so meagre, she submitted to the humiliation although gamely seems to have enjoyed it. An actor after all, obviously able to shut out her husband and child waiting for her back at home.
And then he just cut it off. Told her he could no longer help her. That her body in his bed was no longer required. Which of course only added to her degradation. She tried and tried to offer up more, willing to engage in further depravity, but was only met with rejection. Because he?s moved on. He?s hunting his next target. A young, nubile, blonde babe with a large profile and a perky rack who so far has been able to resist his advances but is trying to graduate from supporting roles in film, as the fact that she?s a headliner on the small screen has not helped with the quality of scripts she?s being offered, or with many of her auditions so far. She?s currently waiting on a big break and he?s trying to make sure it doesn?t happen, so that in her disappointment, she?ll come running to him, ready to wheel and deal.

Most people think it?s about Harvey, Blake, Gretchen Mol and Harvey?s wife Georgina Chapman. Those are really the only names that fit exactly, when you think about it. Although I think Blake might not need Harvey - she must have every producer in Hollywood just dying to work with the hottest T & A going right now. I mean, her talent. Yes, that?s what I meant.

Enjoying a break from work duties, Blake Lively was spotted out shopping with a few friends in the Meatpacking District of New York City on Friday (January 8).
Joking around with her pals while strolling down the Big Apple street, the “Gossip Girl” beauty grabbed up a chocolate milk on the go as she picked up a few new additions for her wardrobe.
The sighting comes just as it has been announced that Blake has nabbed the female lead to star alongside Ryan Reynolds in “Green Lantern”.
According to Variety reports, the “Green Lantern” will begin filming in March, with a release date slated for June of 2011.

Here?s Blake Lively at last night?s New York premiere of Sherlock Holmes. I can?t even imagine how cold she was - the whole Eastern corridor is in the midst of a huge cold front, and we?re getting lots of snow today and this weekend. I just checked - it?s hovering around 20 degrees Fahrenheit this morning in New York, so I can only imagine it was in the teens last night for the premiere. The men at the premiere were bundled up in scarves - meanwhile, Blake is prancing around in what basically amounts to a pair of panties and a lace chemise. She looks flawless, though. Great hair and makeup. Perhaps this look would have been better during a warmer season, though.
As many know, I?m a big fan of Blake Lively. I don?t watch Gossip Girl or anything, so I can?t really say I like her for whatever acting chops she has. I think my affection for her is that she?s one of the most interesting girls on the red carpet these days, and because I think she?s very, very pretty, albeit in a surgically altered way. Every day that I see Blake on a new red carpet, I?m happy. She?s likes to show off her T&A, as well as her legs - but rarely in a ?look at me, I?m so sexy? Pamela Anderson way. Blake tries to be high fashion while she?s showing off her asset. I appreciate that. That being said, I think she should cover the hell up! I feel like her mom - but she?s seriously going to catch something if she doesn?t start wearing more clothes.
As far as the rest of the red carpet, everybody else at least made some concessions to the cold weather. Robert Downey Jr. wore a fabulous brown suit which looked great on him. Rachel McAdams opted for a strapless jumpsuit that was kind of blah. Jonny Lee Miller was there too! He looks amazing, and he was probably there to support his bestie Jude. Mark Strong is a total cueball now, but I still find him sexy. And Guy Ritchie?s date was his son with Madonna, Rocco. Rocco looked uncomfortable, which makes me feel for the poor kid.

There is something about actress Blake Lively that I really like. Blake always looks amazing, so that is a big part of my fascination, but there is just something aboutthe celebritythat gives off a sense of class and sophistication. Maybe it’s because she alwaysappears to be confident in her look and she keeps her wardrobe looking top-notch. This dress, which Blake wore to the premiere of “Sherlock Holmes” in New York, was amazing! Rather, Blake Lively looked amazing in this dress! Theyeach did the other justice.

Stepping out for an exciting evening, Blake Lively was spotted at the New York City premiere of “Sherlock Holmes” last night (December 17).
The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” actress looked excited as she arrived at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center for the high-profile event.
And of course, Blake was dressed to the nines as she posed for the paparazzi on the red carpet, sporting a sexy black lace minidress teamed with a pair of gold heels.
Also in the house was Blake’s “Gossip Girl” costar/real-life boyfriend Penn Badgley. Not a bad Thursday night date!
