Newly single Bar Refeali is also in Cannes this week, seen here sunning herself in a bikini on a yacht in the Med. But I wasn’t jealous, because I spent the afternoon sunning myself in a body of water, too. Granted, it was a plastic kiddie pool in the front yard and technically I was more passed out than laying out, but still. It’s the principal of the matter. And unlike Bar, I didn’t have to worry about monsoons or Somali pirates.
If Leonardo DiCaprio isn’t on the third draft of his apology letter yet, he better damn well be now (at amFAR’s AIDS gala, top; bikini ass pics, bottom):

The image I have of Leonardo DiCaprio, in general, is that of a womanizer with a heart of gold. I don?t think he mistreats women. I don?t think he?s a douche to women. I think he?s probably very honest with the women in his life: he likes being a bachelor, he likes having an official girlfriend, and he likes some action on the side. From what I can remember hearing from Gisele, he?s very sweet and generous to his girlfriends, but the dude is simply afraid of commitment, and he makes that clear in every relationship. That?s how his moves are telegraphed to me. Maybe I?m alone in these thoughts. I might be, because if anyone buys this National Enquirer story about ?the real reason? Leonardo and Bar Refaeli split up, then I?ll eat my proverbial hat.
Leonardo DiCaprio has handed his gorgeous girlfriend Bar Refaeli her walking papers because he?s ready to start a family - and she?s not.
Fatherhood has become priority number one for the 36-year-old actor, and he wanted Bar to commit to having a baby right away if they were to get married. But the Israeli-born model, 25, isn?t ready to take the leap into parenting.
?Leo told Bar he expected kids if they walk down the aisle,? said a close friend. ?While Bar sees herself as being a mom down the road, and wants a family, her career is on fire right now. She known that she?s not going to get many modeling assignments with a pregnant belly.?
?Leo is so angry that he basically told her to take a hike - he feels like he was wasting time with her? over the past year, Leo thought long and hard and decided Bar was ?the one? and he wanted children with her. Leo sees how happy his close friend Tobey Maguire is being a dad - Leo wants what his best friend has. But Bar has already told him she?s just not ready. It crushed Leo.?
Despite how angry he is, the friend added: ?Leo will run back to Bar in a minute is she tells him she?s ready to be a mom.?

What came to mind while you were reading that? What came into my mind was Leo nailing Blake Lively from behind. Kind of gross? Sure. But I tend to think Leo just dumped Bar because he was looking at greener pastures. I?ve said this before, and I?ll say it again: Bar is the most busted-looking supermodel out there. It?s not unreasonable to me to think that Leo was looking for some kind of upgrade, looks-wise. Yeah, go ahead and yell at me. I think Blake is way prettier than Bar. And I think Bar would go running back to Leo in a heartbeat, not the other way around. I?m not saying dudes don?t get broody and want babies too - many do. Leo is probably not that guy. Or he won?t be that guy for a while. But just in case he is that guy now, I suggest Blake Lively get pregnant right away! God, that would be so much fun?

Yesterday was The Day Leonardo DiCaprio Officially Moved On. We were gifted with two Leo gems - the first was a report from Page Six regarding a Leo sighting with Blake Lively, in Cannes. Then, hours later, Leo and Blake (Lake? Bleo?) made their official pap-friendly debut as a couple. All of this made me wonder: how does Single White Female extraordinaire Bar Refaeli feel about all of this? Bar is in Cannes as well, and she?s been party-hopping and premiering for several days. These photos are from last night?s premiere of The Beaver. Bar wore this clingy, navy Roberto Cavalli (with jewelry by Chopard). Now? I?ve never been a big fan of Bar, as a person or as a model. Her personality seems at best, non-existent and at worst, snotty. As a model, she?s definitely lacking. She has a girl-next-door prettiness but I?ve never seen a photo of her that I would call ?fierce? or ?gorgeous? or ?stunning?. Her body is great, sure. But she?s only a known quantity as a model because she was boning Leo. Does this Cavalli look good on her figure? Sure. But the face! The face is so meh. She even looks busted here.
If you?re going to get all hot for a model, why can?t it be Doutzen Kroes? I love her. I love her face. I love her build. I love everything about her. She?s my model crush. I don?t know who did the dress. It?s not important what or who she?s wearing when she?s got that face.
And finally, because for some reason The Beaver red carpet was the hot ticket for models, we have Naomi Campbell and her Russian. She wore Azzedine Alaia and a wig with bangs. I have to admit, she?s one of the few women who can really work the bangs (trauma).

Last night, Refaeli enjoyed an evening out at Chopard?s ?Diamonds are a Girl?s Best Friend? party.
She's been enjoying her time with a range of fellow festival-goers while ex Leonardo DiCaprio has been spotted cozying up at Cannes with actress Blake Lively.

The newly-single Israeli supermodel looked stunning in a shiny blue strapless dress teamed with a pair of super-high black heels.
And it sounds like Bar has been teasing her little brother with the prospects of plastering his face all over the internet.
Ms. Refaeli tweeted, ?I really wanted to tweet a cute photo of my 14 year old bro? He said he?ll get mad and, guess what?! I?m actually scared. Ugh.?

The Israeli hottie sported a big smile as she perused the wares and chatted with fellow shoppers while paparazzi watched from afar.
Yesterday, it was more of the same as Bar and a guy pal hit up the Escada boutique and shopped for some new shoes.
