Words can’t even begin to describe my simultaneous elation and disgust at Miley Cyrus’ new photoshoot with Terry “Creeper” Richardson. First I laughed (because obviously), and then I cried (from the laughter but also because I can’t stand that starlets love to debase themselves for Uncle Terry). Once I recovered from “the feels,” I wondered whether Miley’s visit to Terry’s studio was a condition of Terry shooting Miley’s September feature for Harper’s Bazaar, which just so happened to make her look like the chick in a bad R. Kelly video. Because Miley didn’t get the cover, but getting a feature in a fall fashion issue is still pretty damn huge.
Regardless of the cause, Miley has willingly posed for disgusting Terry, and the product is utterly ridiculous. First, let’s please remember that we recently enjoyed a relatively civilized conversation about Miley and “black” culture, and then let’s endure these portraits from Terry. Warning: Each of these photos grow progressively “rebellious.”
That last picture is fairly impressive, no? Ahhh, the flexibility of youth. I left out several of the photos including the one of Terry and Miley miming a beej together. For the ultra-curious and masochistic types among you, you can just go to the source for that gem. Usually, I have no shortage of words concerning Miley, but I think these photos should just speak for themselves.

Sigh. Aside from the distraction of Miley Cyrus’ hot assistant in the above photo, this post will (inadequately) attempt to broach a topic that I’ve been dancing around for months. Miley, who has been announced as one of the performers at the MTV VMAs, has found herself in the midst of a Twitter kertuffle. Mind you, Miley is also using her Twitter account to promote her status as the most- nominated female artist of the VMAs. Don’t ask me how that happened with one lousy single.
At any rate, Miley has pointed her stans (and detractors) towards her new collaboration with French Montana, the “Ain’t Worried ?Bout Nothin’” remix. I won’t embed the video here because it contains NSFW language, but you can watch/listen to it over on YouTube. In the aftermath, Miley must have been receiving even more backlash because she decided to talk back to those who are accusing her of “trying to be black”:

Looking excited to do what she loves, Miley Cyrus headed to the recording studio in Studio City, California on Tuesday (August 13).
The "We Can't Stop" singer smiled in a white cutout top, floral print miniskirt, and platform Chucks as she made her way inside.
That same day, MTV announced that the 20-year-old songstress would be performing at this year's Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 25th.
Stoked for the news, Miley tweeted, "I <3 my life. Waking up to another nomination and my fans going ape s--t cu they just found out I'm performing. I live for this #votemiley."

Another day, another Miley Cyrus photo-op where she can?t keep her lizard tongue in her mouth. These are photos from The Teen Choice Awards, which aired last night. Miley wore this skimpy Saint Laurent outfit which? ugh. I don?t get why Miley is doing so much leather these days, and I also don?t get why Yves Saint Laurent is trying to rebrand itself into ?Saint Laurent, the home for twerking pop stars and reality show famewhores.? The outfit might have been cute with different shoes, I guess. The shoes say ?I work in an office.? The Saint Laurent leather ensemble says ?I want to be Rihanna.?

I have a bizarre confession: if you lined up Cheryl Lloyd, Victoria Justice and Nina Dobrev, I would never be able to tell them apart. Right? They all look alike? Or am I crazy? Anyway, this is Cheryl Lloyd in The Hellers. There was a lot of midriff-bearing at this year?s Teen Choice. It?s like 1994 all over again.
Kerry Washington in Stella McCartney. A rare victory for Stella, I think. It?s a cute little dress, rather girlish and sweet. It doesn?t fit Kerry properly, but I think we just have to accept that Stella?s dresses never fit properly.
