Jennifer Lopez made a ?triumphant return? to the American Music Awards last night – she performed a medley of her hits “Until It Beats No More,” “Papi” and “On the Floor.” We only have photos of Jennifer?s post-performance gown, though – it?s this interesting Zuhair Murad gown that? I kind of love. I would hate this gown on nearly anyone else, but Jennifer comes really close to pulling it off. It?s a weird effect, but it?s good on her. I just wish J.Lo hadn?t gone full Croydon Facelift.
Anyway, about the medley – Jennifer wore Giambattista Valli at first, and then everything came off in layers until she was ?performing? in a nude bodysuit with sparkles, much like Britney Spears?s infamous VMA performance more than a decade ago. Here?s a pretty good video of J.Lo?s performance – if the video gets deleted, I?ll try to find another one:
People are making a big deal about Jennifer ?copying? something so iconic from Britney, but as a casual follower of Jennifer?s hit-or-miss performances, I can say that this is not even the first time Jennifer has performed in a nude bodysuit with sparkles – bitch loves catsuits and bodysuits, and this is nothing new. Still, I guess it?s interesting to see a 42 year old woman do the sparkly bodysuit thing.
Jennifer also won favorite Latin Artist, AND she got a standing ovation for her performance. Oh, J. Lo. One last thing: did anyone else notice the crassness with which Jennifer shilled for Fiat during her performance? She has a contract with Fiat, she put Fiat in her music video for ?Papi? and she actually did a commercial for Fiat. And now she?s pulling Fiats into her live performances. I don?t begrudge an artist for ?selling out,? but Jesus, even I find this incredibly crass.

Causing a paparazzi frenzy in New York City, Jennifer Lopez and her twins, Max and Emme, were spotted leaving their Big Apple hotel on Tuesday (November 8).
With her luscious locks pulled back in a tight bun, the ?On the Floor? songstress held onto Emme?s hand as Max was carried by a bodyguard just behind them.
Last night, Ms Lopez attended the Glamour Magazine?s 21st Annual Women of the Year Awards and chatted with Access Hollywood about ending her seven-year marriage to Marc Anthony.
?I think I?ve learned in the past year or two is that I can stand on my own two feet, and to give myself credit for that,? Jen told.
?To really give myself a little bit of love, instead of always beating myself up for what I didn?t do or how I could have done something better or what else I?m going to do next,? she continued. ?Just take a minute and a beat to appreciate the things that I have accomplished. That?s something that I have to work on, but I?m working on it. I?m getting better at it, I think.?

Just shoot me in the face, because I think Jennifer Lopez looks fantastic here. Jennifer was one of the big ?gets? last night for Glamour Magazine?s Women of the Year event. J.Lo wore this Atelier Versace gown that was kind of overkill for the event, although there were several big ?named? who ended up wearing formal gowns, so maybe I?m misjudging the ?bigness? of the event. Anyway, the dress. Go ahead and yell at me. She looks great in it. Her body looks amazing in it - Versace really works on her historically, something about her curves in Versace?s usually close-cut, sexy tailoring. That thigh-high slit? Sexy! I even like the way the shoulders are cut - usually I dislike that kind of high neck in a gown, but this is great on Jennifer. Have I gushed enough? Nope.
Because I also love the she wore her hair mostly down. Jennifer does the Croydon facelift much, much too often, and I personally think she looks better when she works a softer hairstyle. I love her hair here too.
According to Us Weekly, Jennifer was the center of attention during the dinner too:
As one of the year’s honorees, Lopez looked uncharacteristically nervous at the podium.
“It’s been kind of a long night, right?” she joked, in a nod to the night’s impressive list of honorees, including Jennifer Aniston, former First Lady Laura Bush, Arianna Huffington, Gloria Steinem and others.
“We all felt a little overwhelmed tonight,” Lopez, who seemed on the verge of tears throughout her speech.
The singer, actress, designer and American Idol judge has, of course, had a challenging year, after she and Marc Anthony announced the end their marriage of seven years in July.
She told the crowd what gets her through the tough times. “It’s the women. Through the ups and the not so ups, that’s the one thing that got me through,” she admitted. “My grandmother, who taught me to cook and not be afraid to serve and be humble. And to go out looking nice because people like that and then they respect you.”
Another motivator? “My daughter Emme [3] inspires me to be a better human being.”

She?s no stranger to swanky industry events, and Jennifer Lopez was spotted attending the 2011 Glamour Women of the Year Awards tonight (November 7) in New York City.
The ?On the Floor? songstress, who has been spending her time as of late in Argentina scouting talent for her new show ?Q?Viva! The Chosen? looked radiant as she made her way inside Carnegie Hall to join up with fellow guests including Chelsea Handler and Cindi Leive.
During the course of the evening, J. Lo is being presented with the All-Star trophy by fashion industry icon Donatella Versace.
Lopez was chosen for the award given her well-rounded success in the music, television, fashion, and merchandising industries to name a few.

Greeted by hundreds of fans, Jennifer Lopez was spotted arriving into Buenos Aires on Wednesday afternoon (November 2).
The ?On the Floor? singer looked smokin? hot in heels, shorts and a three-quarter length top as she happily smiled and waved to her Argentine fans.
The sighting comes as the newly-single Lopez and her Nuyorican Productions company recently sold a new comedy show to MTV.
The show revolves around a recent NYU graduate who has difficulty finding a job and is forced to move back in with her family in Texas.

Jennifer Lopez covers the December issue of Glamour Magazine. I?m not in love with the cover shot or the bonus photo from the shoot - I don?t hate it or anything, and I guess it?s okay for Glamour. The best part of J.Lo?s appearance on the magazine is the interview, in which Jennifer tries to put herself out there as the kind of woman who doesn?t want to have every part of her life in the public eye. Now, I?m sure there are some secrets Jennifer would like kept private. But as far as love goes? she?s always going to be carrying on her relationships in the public eye.
Whoa, J Lo! Jennifer Lopez covers Glamour magazine’s Women of the Year December issue — and, in a low-cut skin-tight red top tucked into curve-hugging sailor pants, the star, 42, flaunts a lot more cleavage than she customarily does.

Jennifer says about her style, ?The things I liked when I was, like, 16 and in the Bronx - jeans, cut-up T-shirts - I still like. But I?ve been exposed to so much now from traveling the world and seeing couture clothes. I used all of that when I created my new line for Kohl?s. My style has come from everything, from where I started to where I am today.?
Inside the mag, star (who’s been dating Bradley Cooper of late) opens up about a new relationship in the wake of her split with husband Marc Anthony.
“I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye. You know the media?they want to rush everything,” muses the “I’m Into You” singer.
But, Lopez tells Glamour, she’s ready for whatever romance comes, thanks to some hard lessons learned during her painful split. “I think I’ve finally learned the biggest lesson of all,” she says. “You’ve got to love yourself first. You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else. You’ve got to value yourself and know that you’re worth everything. And until you value yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can’t really have a healthy relationship.”

The whole ?You’ve got to love yourself first? argument is the same one she made in Vanity Fair when she was announcing her split from Marc Anthony. We can be snide and say that Jennifer?s problem has never been lack of self-love, but I?m reading more into her comments - I think she?s saying that she stayed with Marc for so long because she put so much focus on ?them,? on the marriage, on the two of them together, as a couple, not on making herself happy. Which I buy - I think Jennifer shelved some of her desires and ambitions when she was with Marc, and I?m looking forward to seeing what post-divorce J.Lo does. Hopefully, this Bradley Cooper thing will die swiftly and she?ll find someone high-profile who enjoys her company.

She recently opened up to her audience with a tearful performance in Montville, Conn, and just days later Jennifer Lopez stepped out for a charity press conference in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday (October 25).
The ?On the Floor? songstress looked stunning in a sky blue, criss-cross Lisa Ho gown with her long locks twisted into a high bun and accessorized with hoop earrings.
With her younger sister, Lynda, in tow, the siblings stepped out to support the Maribel Foundation, a non-profit organization formed by Jen back in 2009.
Her foundation recently announced its partnership with Samsung and Best Buy, who have pledged to donate up to $500,000 to the cause from the sales of select Samsung products.

These are photos of Jennifer Lopez and her sister Lynda Lopez at an event yesterday in West LA. The event was some kind of press conference in which Samsung and Best Buy pledged $500,000 to J.Lo?s charity, The Maribel Foundation. To read more about what Jennifer is doing, go here. The foundation has already donated $1 million to underprivileged children in LA.
What I really wanted to talk about was the fashion, though. J.Lo hasn?t been doing very many public appearances lately (beyond the odd concert), so these are the first ?red carpet? type photos we?ve had of her in a few months. Jennifer wore a Lisa Ho tulle cocktail dress for the occasion. Now? I like the color on her. I like the skirt too - I?m glad Jennifer didn?t pour herself into some tight little dress, and I?m glad Jennifer isn?t flashing her bits and pieces at us in some short little minidress. That being said, I don?t find the bodice of this dress flattering on her at all. And taken with the ?Croydon facelift? hair, everything from the waist up is pretty much a mess, right?
Oh, and remember how Jennifer dared to show human (famewhore) emotion during a weekend concert? She teared up while she was singing (?singing?) and most people were like, ?The famewhore is crying because she?s lost her love!? Jennifer told Extra that she only broke down when she saw her mother: ?I didn’t see her the whole time until this one moment, and I was a bit emotional?[I?m] a regular person like everybody else. I have feelings and emotions. My life goes great and it goes not great sometimes. But you know what? We keep going, and that?s what it is.” I still don?t see the controversy with J.Lo tearing up.

I have no idea why this story is picking up so much coverage. Everybody always claims they?re so ?over? Jennifer Lopez, and then J.Lo does something famewhore-y and then suddenly everybody has to comment. So, Jennifer was performing this weekend at the Mohegan Sun?s 15th anniversary celebration - these are not photos from the event. We don?t have access to photos from the event, but if you really want to see them, go here. I?m using photos from one of Jennifer?s concerts in May for this post, and if it makes any difference, I think she was wearing this same glitzy Spiderwoman catsuit over the weekend too. Anyway, J.Lo was ?performing? an acoustic version of ?If You Had My Love?? and then she broke down.
Her own lyrics hit a little too close to home for Jennifer Lopez, who broke down in tears onstage after singing a song about loves from her past.
“I’m going to sing you the last song I wrote about love,” Lopez, who recently split from husband Marc Anthony, told the audience at the Mohegan Sun’s 15th anniversary celebration on Saturday night after singing an acoustic rendition of her hit “If You Had My Love.” “A lot has changed since then.”
Lopez, 42, then launched into “Until It Beats No More” while dancers re-enacted scenes with the singer and some of the men from her past. A Lopez lookalike danced with guys who looked a lot like her exes Diddy, Cris Judd and Ben Affleck.
The final couple to appear in the spotlight danced much like Lopez and her estranged husband during their American Idol performance in May, just weeks before they announced their split.
After she was done, Lopez told the sold-out crowd, “I took a trip down memory lane” ? and then started to cry as the crowd applauded.
But it wasn’t all sadness for Lopez. A photo of her twins Max and Emme, 3, and said flashed above her and she said, “There’s love ? and then there’s love.”

There?s some video too - but prepare yourself. When Jennifer tries to ?sing? instead of merely ?talking? the lyrics, it?s pretty bad. Plus, this video only features some of the ?emotional? performance, not the part where Jennifer DANCES with dudes who are made up to look like her exes.
So, was this just a famewhore move from a diva? Sure. But was there also some emotion involved? Probably. I think Jennifer is a diva, a famewhore, and obviously, she?s probably pretty crazy. But I?d never accuse her of being a robot. She?s allowed to get weepy on stage. I would get weepy too if I was fake-dating Bradley Cooper.
