She?s in the middle of a divorce with Marc Anthony, and Jennifer Lopez is determined to make sure her twins Max and Emme are well taken care of.
The ?On the Floor? songstress was spotted taking her kiddos to a local park yesterday (July 31) in Atlanta, Georgia.
J. Lo carried her adorable boy and girl around the playground as they romped around on the jungle gym and sat on the swing set. Lopez is in Atlanta working on her new film ?What to Expect When You?re Expecting.?
And according to an inside source, Jennifer is relieved that her marriage is over. "She's just so glad to be free. She's really feeling on top of the world.?

More than a month ago, there was a terrible story about Linnocent possibly being the cover girl for the September issue of Vanity Fair. Allegedly, it was going to be all about her crackie trials and tribulations, probably with a healthy dose of crack denial and the same-old BS quotes as always (?I?m sober! I just want to work!?). Thank God it didn?t happen! Jennifer Lopez is the cover girl for the September issue. YAY! It?s her first ?post-split? interview. This is the only tiny, tiny little cover that?s been released:
This is Jennifer second solo VF cover - her first was in 2001. A decade later, and still relevant enough for a cover story? That?s a ?win? for J. Lo. Also a win? I was watching Selena yesterday (it was on TV), and I had the realization that if Jennifer wanted to refocus her energy into a film career, specifically in drama, I would be all over it. She?s a talented dramatic actress, y?all! I?ve always wanted her to find another project like Out of Sight. She was so, so good in that. She?s great when she gets to play ?tough?.
Anyway, I can?t wait for the VF interview. Either it?s going to be total DIVA and she?s going to call Marc out and throw herself a big pity party, or she?s going to be classy and keep her on the record quotes low-key. Well? they gave her a cover. Which makes me think that she?s going to be saying some junk that Marc won?t like. It?s going to be good.

Back to work on the set of ?What to Expect When You?re Expecting,? Jennifer Lopez was spotted in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday (July 28).
The ?On The Floor? singer donned a sexy outfit as she filmed scenes with her handsome co-star, Rodrigo Santoro.
In recent news, it is being reported that JLo and ex fling, Sean ?Diddy? Combs could be attempting to rekindle their romance.
A source close to Diddy told BET that Jennifer is "the love of his life" and he's so excited to be back with his "fantasy girl." But, not everyone in Diddy's circle is happy about the reunion. The source is worried that he will end up hurt, especially since she wasn't there for Diddy when he "needed Jennifer the most."

Seemingly doing quite well as she keeps herself occupied while adjusting to the single life, Jennifer Lopez was in a jovial mood on the set of "What to Expect When You're Expecting" in Atlanta, GA on Wednesday (July 27).
The 42-year-old singer/actress smiled for the cameras during a break from filming the Kirk Jones directed picture about the lives of four couples as they prepare to become parents.
Aside from her current movie project, J Lo's currently in the midst of deciding whether or not to return for a second year on the hit FOX show "American Idol".
According to a just-released report from THR, Miss Lopez is actually expected to ink a comeback deal this week, as CEO of FremantleMedia North America Ccile Frot-Coutaztold The Wall Street Journal, ?We?re in good shape. No worries. No dark clouds on the horizon."
Having earned a $12 million paycheck last year, it's speculated that Jennifer has been holding out for more money - as she's rumored to want a salary closer to that of former judge Simon Cowell's take home pay of $35 million.

In the best of moods since ending her fizzled out marriage, Jennifer Lopez was busy celebrating her birthday in Miami, Florida over the weekend.
Turning 42-year-old on Sunday (July 24), the newly single "American Idol" judge joined family and friends including manager Benny Medina aboard the private yacht "Never Say Never".
Wearing a Emilio Pucci bikini top and matching head scarf, J Lo was first seen lounging on the forward deck of the yacht before spontaneously getting up to dance.
The previous night, Miss Lopez headed out to Scarpetta restaurant at the Fontainebleau hotel with a party of 16 including her mom and sister.
A source told People magazine of the scene, ?Jennifer looked radiant in a purple and silver evening dress. And when they brought out her birthday cake after the meal, she began to sing. She was very happy. The whole group had a blast, staying for hours. They closed down the restaurant.?

Here are some new photos of Jennifer Lopez in Miami over the weekend. Reportedly, she was celebrating her 42nd birthday with friends, and the dude who seems like he?s escorting her out of the resturant is her on-again manager Benny Medina. She?s fired Benny a few times in the past, and she was without his Svengali talents for most of the years she was married to Marc, but J.Lo hired Benny back? I think it was last year? And now Marc is out and Benny is back to shaping everything about J.Lo.
I read her demeanor as genuinely sad, but like she also wants to be seen as seeming ?sad?. Team J.Lo was all over the place last week, blaming Marc for basically everything that went wrong in their marriage. It would be nave to think that Jennifer isn?t organized, and that she has a very specific plan for her post-divorce life. Quite honestly, I can?t wait to see what she?s got up her sleeve. New boyfriend? New career? New house? New baby? It will be interesting.
By the way, there are reports that while in Miami, Jennifer is spending time with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. That must be seriously depressing. Can you imagine spending time with them when you?re fresh from a breakup? And that?s just when Scientologists strike too - when you?re vulnerable and looking for a new life path. J.Lo and Xenu? No! She would never give up Santeria.

Not letting the media spotlight surrounding her sudden split from Marc Anthony dampen her birthday weekend, a glammed up Jennifer Lopez stepped out solo in Miami, Florida on Friday night (July 22).
The "American Idol" judge looked dashing in a colorful patterned gown as she was escorted into a local sunshine state restaurant by a team of security personnel to grab up a late night meal.
The trip to Miami comes after Miss Lopez has spent the past few days in Atlanta - where she's filming a new ensemble movie titled "What to Expect When You're Expecting" alongside Elizabeth Banks and Chris Rock.
Meanwhile, J. Lo slipped away from set duties for the weekend in Miami, as she'll be ringing in her 42nd birthday on Sunday (July 24) with rumors telling that the celebration will be held with celebrity friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

After 7 years of marriage, Marc Athony and Jennifer Lopez abruptly announced their divorce last Friday. Everyone was left wondering why. Dear God, why?!?!111 They seemed like the perfect unbearable couple. Well, according to Us, it all began when Marc Anthony banged a stewardess in 2009 on a private plane.
“Marc and Jennifer almost split up over it,” the source tells Us of the couple, parents to 3-year-old twins Emme and Max. Seconds another insider: “Jennifer was going to leave him then, but Marc begged her to stay. They went to marriage counseling and she decided to give it another shot. He was someone she truly loved.”
Apparently that wasn’t enough because Marc’s raging… jealousy over Lopez’s career continued to drive a wedge between them. Marc even tried controlling how Jennifer dressed and her business endeavors. Don’t even mention his paranoia about her and other men. All this proved to be too much and led to the dissolution of their marriage.
Figures. Jennifer Lopez is so damn annoying. I’m not surprised Marc cheated on J.Lo. I imagine anyone not named Jennifer Lopez would have been a significant improvement for him.

In case you haven?t figured it out, I?m really trying to use some of the thousands of archive photos of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony for all of these split stories. Part of it is sheer joy on my part: joy at seeing just how many photos of the two of them exist (because when too many couples breakup, there are only a handful of couple-y photos), and plus, I like looking at Jennifer Lopez?s married-girl styles throughout the years. It?s the married-girl styles that take center stage in this story - according to Us Weekly, Marc had very specific ideas on how Jennifer should be styled, and when she veered away from ?conservative wife? style, he belittled her and broke her down. Now, we already heard about how controlling Marc was (and is, probably). Do you believe this?
Us Weekly named Jennifer Lopez Style Icon of the Decade in spring 2010 — but her husband Marc Anthony tried to call the shots over the fashion diva’s clothes during a photo shoot for the magazine last year.
Anthony, now 42, objected to a pic that he found “too sexy and unbecoming for a 40-year-old mother of two,” one insider tells Us.
Ever since the couple tied the knot seven years ago, the Latin crooner strove to curtail his wife’s famous style choices.
“He would make her feel terrible about herself if she wanted to wear something sexy,” says another source. “He likes her to dress in a demure, ‘wife’ style. He hated the fact that she was a sex symbol.”
“Marc has always been a very dominating husband,” another insider says of the couple, who announced the end of their marriage last Friday. “He wants to control everything Jennifer does.”

Part of me doesn?t believe this, just because telling Jennifer Lopez to put away the leather catsuits and Herve Leger bondage dresses would be like telling her not to breathe. That being said, Jennifer?s style did suffer during her marriage. She?s always seemed like the kind of woman who enjoys fashion and styling, and takes great joy in putting a look together, but her best looks were definitely before Marc Anthony, in my opinion. Remember when she used to show up at the Oscars looking like a goddess? But when she was with Marc, every awards show gown seemed frumpy and budget. So? do we blame Marc for these high fashion crimes?

And so it begins. Starting Monday afternoon, speculation and stories about Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony went into overdrive. I guess, technically, it started just as soon as Marc and Jennifer announced their split on Friday, picked up some steam over the weekend, but it seemed like yesterday, all of a sudden there were a million stories about J.Lo and Marc. So let?s take it point by point, shall we?
*Lainey says that Us Weekly had the story early last week, but held it for a few days under the understanding that Jennifer would give them a statement. Then, Marc went behind Jennifer?s back and released the news to People Mag. Keep this in mind in the coming weeks - because I feel an Us Weekly vs. People Mag pissing contest coming on, and we will all be the beneficiaries.
*Us Weekly says that Jennifer and Marc have been ?struggling for years? and that Jennifer ?tried everything she could to make it work? They went to marriage counseling. She was patient and loving and did everything he wanted her to.. She exhausted all the possibilities,” according to a source close Jennifer. Another source says, ?They had a very up and down marriage. They would get into heated, horrible fights. Then, they would also go through times where they were extremely loving and romantic…It was a roller coaster with them from the beginning.” Yet more insiders say, ?She is devastated. Absolutely beside herself. This is someone she dedicated a long time to, and that she truly loved. She is looking forward to the future. She is jumping back into work and being a mom with all her energy and she is really excited. She feels like she has grown leaps and bounds and is a new person now, better than ever.? Jennifer is expected to stay in LA and get primary custody of their twins. She?s also really busy, with lots of ongoing and new projects.
*Meanwhile, People Magazine says that Marc and Jennifer?s split came ?after months of nonstop arguing?. Marc and Jennifer decided it’s best to go their separate ways for the sake of their two kids.? A source says that ?Jennifer is doing okay. In the past two weeks, she has spent a lot of quality time with her kids and her family in L.A. She is, of course, sad that she and Marc didn’t work out, but they both feel they have tried everything.” So far, very similar to Us Weekly?s story. That will change in the weeks to come, I think.
*There were some stories that ?the reason? for the split was Jennifer?s alleged relationship/affair with a Cuban male model named William Levy, known as the ?Brad Pitt of Cuba?. He was the too-pretty dude in Jennifer?s video for ?I?m Into You? (a music video I actually kind of liked). William is 30 years old and he just split from his wife of eight years one month after the music video shoot with Jennifer. BUT! William denied that junk, getting his spokesperson to tell TMZ, ?The only relationship there was or is, is a professional relationship. That?s all there?s ever been.? Also: Levy forces underage girls to fellate him while he strangles them, allegedly.
*One more story, courtesy of E! News. According to E! News? source, Jennifer just kept trying to make her marriage work: “She tried so hard to make this marriage work? She put up with?and kept putting up with?Marc’s controlling ways, which had been going on for a long time, and she was really trying to make the best of it. He would micromanage their lives . He was all over her all the time?about everything?and I know she tried very hard, and for a long time, to act like it didn’t bother her, but I know it did. A lot. He would hover over her, and it was almost antagonizing. She couldn’t breathe.” A source from American Idol (coughDameSeacrestcough) says that Jennifer was almost ?scary? in her devotion to Marc, “She was always saying, ‘Marc likes this’ or ‘Marc doesn’t like that,’ as if he was her manager. We never once saw them fight.” Also: Jennifer had jealousy issues too, and tried to end Marc?s ongoing friendship with his ex-wife Dayanara Torres. Eh.
