I was surprised by the lack of interest in my fashion posts over the weekend ? some of the A-list women of Hollywood came out to play at the Variety ?Power of Women? event, and Jessica Biel in particular did not look all that great. Anyway, after appearing at that event on Friday night, Jessica flew to Paris for some reason. Some sites are claiming that she?s doing a magazine photo shoot in Paris, some claim she?s filming a new ad. She?s the face of Revlon lipstick and mascara, so maybe that? Or maybe a new ad campaign? I can?t imagine who would hire her. No disrespect ? she?s a pretty girl and she has a great body. But I can?t imagine that Biel is a great ?get? for any brand.
Should we talk about her clothes in these photos? The black outfit is fine. I think the black outfit is hers, or maybe she was paid to wear it or something. But the studded leather outfit?! WTF??? The photo agencies once again have mixed opinions about exactly what is going on with that outfit. My first thought was that it was an editorial look, and Biel is definitely doing a magazine photo shoot which is being styled by someone Totally ?80s and Michael Jackson-obsessed. But the photo agencies say Biel is just out and about in Paris, stopping by the Fendi store to do some shopping. Are these clothes that she picked out herself? Oh dear God. (That being said, I kind of want the blouse, even if it makes Biel look pregnant.)
Meanwhile, can you believe that we?re still on Wedding Watch with Biel and Justin Timberlake? His bachelor party extravaganza was a few weeks ago. So when is it going down? When Biel was at the Variety event, she told E! News that she?s definitely not a ?bridezilla? and that “I’m just pretty much cool as a cucumber in general in my life. So no, I’m cool? I’m one of those people who is not very detail-oriented? I’m sort of the . . . big idea person, so I’ll probably give an idea and then let it be created.” Jesus, can you believe the way she describes herself? And what?s funny is that I?m pretty sure she?s made of lies. The reason she?s not a bridezilla is because her fianc thinks she has awful taste (true story) and HE is in charge of the wedding.

After attending the wedding of celebrity publicist Meredith O'Sullivan, Jessica Biel headed to the airport in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to return home today (September 3).
The "Total Recall" star dodged puddles in a light blue shirt dress, and flats while carrying her passport and a black handbag.
While the 30-year-old may be on a strict diet to prepare for cameras filming at every angle, after work ends, she likes to indulge.
She tells Grazia magazine that as soon as filming for "Total Recall" was wrapped, she went out and splurged. Miss Biel said, "I love anything fried. I trained for months for 'Total Recall', ate really healthily and didn't drink alcohol. When it was over I ate a big bucket of fried chicken."
However, moderation is the key. "Taking a yoga class at the end of a day's work. That helps me to completely unwind," she says.

After an annoying trip on Friday (August 31), Jessica Biel was heading back to the skies as she was spotted arriving at LAX in Los Angeles on Saturday (September 1).
The 30-year-old stunner donned a chic ensemble with jeans, a vintage sweater matched with an oversized scarf as she made her way through the busy terminal..
During her late night travels, the "Tall Man" actress shared, "i have to get on another plane now. Joy. I wish all of you an audibly temperate afternoon. #WHISPERINGISFUN!"
Although she isn't having the best traveling luck, Miss Biel recently opened up about her better days, speaking on receiving compliments and explaining, It's a lovely compliment, absolutely. Beauty - I think is so backwards. It's so about physical and it's just really not about that."

Toting along her own luggage, Jessica Biel touched down at LAX airport in Los Angeles, CA on Friday (August 31).
The "Total Recall" actress wore a white top with a gray sweater, skinny light blue pants, and flats as she let her long brown hair hang naturally.
Unfortunately, the flight experience wasn't the greatest for the 30-year-old star. Yesterday she shared her frustrations with her nearly 150k Twitter followers, tweeting, "Has over laughing and ridiculously loud talking always been accepted in airplanes and airports or am I becoming a curmudgeon? #weallhearyou."
Later, the noise apparently continued as she complained, "I have a bad right ear too, so if I can hear you, YOU ARE REALLY LOUD. #SHUTIT"
Finally, after her connecting flight, the weary traveler quipped, "i have to get on another plane now. Joy. I wish all of you an audibly temperate afternoon. #WHISPERINGISFUN!"

These are some photos of Jessica Biel yesterday in London, as part of the neverending, whirlwind promotional tour for Total Recall, I?m sure. Before we get to the fashion (I can?t wait!), let me first clarify something for several complaining commenters: when we?re yelling about how ?awful? Jessica Biel looks, we?re ALWAYS talking about her styling, not her inherent beauty. She?s a pretty girl ? I feel like I type that caveat into every single Biel post, but there it is again. She?s a pretty woman? a pretty woman who has some of the worst stylists and hair people in the world. I?m becoming convinced that Jessica must be a monster a real life, because that?s the only way to explain why her style people are kneecapping her so consistently: she MUST be treating them like crap, so they?re getting back at her.
First look (chronologically, she wore this first): a Valentino jumpsuit in a subtle off-white, with beading and lots of lace, accessorized with orange pumps. My first reaction was ?DOILY FUG.? My second reaction was ?What?s going on in her midsection?? Right? Whatever it is, it?s just unflattering, and I believe it?s a design flaw, not a Biel flaw. This jumpsuit was designed to look bulky and weird in the waist. Because? why not? And I?m sorry for those of you who enjoy the ?pop of color? but I think orange shoes look really clownish with this white jumpsuit.
As for the second look? my God. WHY? This is Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 Couture - go to Red Carpet Fashion Awards to see the runway look, which actually manages to be as bad as Jessica’s version. Shall we break this down? Because this is awful from start to finish. It’s not a situation where you can say, “Oh, just take off the FEATHER TUTU and it will be fine.” The situation with the collar is particularly disturbing, as is the sleeve situation and the cummerbund ON THE FEATHER TUTU. My God. Jessica’s stylist loathes her.

CB and I were just debating Jessica Biel?s hair, and why Biel seems incapable of finding a decent hairstyle. These new photos ? from yesterday?s Dublin premiere of Total Recall ? are a great example of Jessica?s lack of self-awareness about her styling. CB thinks the problem could be that Jessica simply has an awful hair stylist whom Biel trusts completely for whatever reason, thus bangs trauma and this raggedy mess. My take: Jessica is so convinced of her own beauty, so overconfident in her ability to pull off extremely versatile looks, that it simply doesn?t occur to her that she should just stick with a simple chignon.
Anyway? obviously, I think Biel looks pretty rough here. I even dislike her Zac Posen dress on the red carpet, although Biel did change for the afterparty (into the lacy Dolce & Gabbana cocktail dress in rose-beige). The Posen dress just doesn?t suit her ? maybe I would like it more on someone else, I guess. As for Biel?s costars? Kate Beckinsale wore a Donna Karan gown in hot pink. It?s a pretty gown. I?m not sure it?s right for a Dublin premiere, but whatever. And Colin wore a D&G suit. He looks meh to me these days.
Ugh. I still cannot even fathom why an attractive girl would consistently allow herself to be styled so poorly. What is Jessica thinking? Is she getting bad advice? Or is it a matter of insane overconfidence?

I’m not sure if I’m the only one who feels this way, but I think that a good quality sideboob shot is almost as hot as a full on cleavage shot. These days we see cleavage everywhere we look, the female border agent when I went to the Dominican Republic was dropping like six inches

Carrying on with her busy day in the Big Apple, a brightly-dressed Jessica Biel was spotted leaving her swanky New York City hotel on Friday (August 3).
Fresh of her early "Good Morning America" appearance, the future Mrs. Timberlake swapped out her green patterned dress for a a pair of orange sunnies, matching knit top, tangerine-toned shorts and classic oxford footwear.
During another round of "Total Recall" promotions on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" last night, the brunette stunner made sure to reiterate that the film is more than a remake.
Jessica explained, ?We went back and looked at the short story, and that?s the impetus for this particular re-imagination, reboot, whatever you want to call it. It?s a different movie. It?s not a remake of the original. It?s taken from the source material more than anything.?

I just felt an unfamiliar pang of pity for Jessica Biel as I was going through these photos. Jessica is in New York now, promoting Total Recall? all by herself. Last night was the NYC premiere, and Jessica was the only headlining star to show up. No Colin Farrell, no Kate Beckinsale, not even John Cho. Just poor Jessica in her sad white, lace dress. She looks like Miss Havisham. This Elie Saab just screams ?bridal!? to me? and it?s a sad look. Check out the original runway look with sleeves ? wouldn?t that have looked much better on Jessica? It still would have been bridal, but at least it would have looked designer bridal and not David?s Bridal. That doily wrap isn?t helping either. She was aiming for ?breezy, summery? and she ended up looking like she was the jilted, forgotten bride at a budget beach wedding.
Jessica is still sticking with her story that she and Justin haven?t even set a date for their wedding, by the way. There were lots of rumors that it would be this summer, very soon, like mid to late August. And the tabloids are keeping the hope alive that it will happen soon, because if not, they might run out of these ?Sad Jessica Biel? stories:
Before Jessica Biel becomes Mrs. Justin Timberlake, she?s hitting some snags in planning her bachelorette party. Namely, that she doesn?t have anyone to invite.
?Jessica doesn?t have a lot of girlfriends,? says an insider. ?Her plan right now is to fly to Colorado and meet up with a group of her hometown friends.?
Meanwhile, her hubby-to-be is planning a bachelor party that a source reveals is ?going to make The Hangover look like Driving Miss Daisy.?

Jessica doesn?t have a lot of girlfriends? On one side, I think that claim is BS ? she?s friends with Jennifer Garner, and Jessica does charity work with a lot of women from Revlon, plus some other charitable organizations she?s involved with. On the other side? I could totally see how Jessica would end up alienating long-term girlfriends because A) Justin tried to sleep with them, B) Justin actually slept with them, C) Jessica thinks that Justin might sleep with them or D) Jessica talks about Justin too much and her girlfriends are tired of the same neverending conversation.
I?m also including a photo of Jessica in brown and black Giambattista Valli outside The Daily Show yesterday. I?m not a huge fan, but I like it better than the Elie Saab doily.

Pulling double duty on her promotional tour, Jessica Biel made a pair of media appearances in Los Angeles last night (July 26).
The ?7th Heaven? hottie plugged her new movie ?Total Recall? at both ?The Tonight Show with Jay Leno? and ? Jimmy Kimmel Live,? and was sweet enough to sign autographs for her fans at both locales.
During her chat with Kimmel, Jessica talked about having to film intense battle scenes with her beautiful costar Kate Beckinsale.
She explained, ?It was fun. It was weird though because Kate and I always fight dudes in movies, usually. We?re always fighting a stunt guy, or she?s fighting some vampire or another crazy monster, but I?ve never fought another woman before.?
?It?s Kate Beckinsale. I don?t want to make a mistake and punch her in the face. Plus her husband (director Len Wiseman) is right there staring at me.?
?Yeah, but he was probably rooting for you in that situation,? Kimmel joked. ?I mean let?s be honest you know what it?s like to be [in a relationship].?
