Making her way back to the States, Cheryl Cole was spotted arriving into Los Angeles, California on Sunday night (October 9).
The former Girls Alous singer was escorted through the terminal by staffers at LAX Airport after having flown into Tinseltown from London.
Miss Cole's international travels come just as she's topped a new poll asking the public to select their fantasy companion for a long-haul flight.
The 28-year-old English beauty landed 37% of the votes while beating out Keira Knightley, Kate Winslet and Emma Watson, who all tied for second place.
Meanwhile, the most desirable travel companion on the men's end was actor Colin Firth, with David Beckham and Orlando Bloom following closely behind.

These are some new photos of Cheryl Cole at last night?s ?Pride of Britain? Awards. Cheryl wore Victoria Beckham, instantly recognizable by Posh?s visible zipper down the back. When Kate Winslet wore one of Posh?s zipper dresses, most of you hated it, but I still really like that design. I think it?s fun design detail, and it brings as much interest to the back of the dress. As for how Cheryl looks in the dress? ugh. This cotton-candy Pink isn?t really her color, but she could have potentially made it work with better hair and makeup. Instead, she?s still going much, much too light with the hair and much too heavy with her makeup. Posh would not approve.
I?ve always wondered if Victoria Beckham and Cheryl Cole kind of hated each other. They?re so much alike - two WAGs, self-styled ?Fashion Girls? looking to break their way into America. It seems like it could potentially be a decent English-style bitch-fight, especially since we know Cheryl can throw down with the best of them, and I suspect Posh is pretty scrappy too. But nearly a decade separates them in age - and it shows. Victoria has already accomplished so much in internationally, with the Spice Girls and with her clothing lines, and I think she loves it in America and wants to raise her kids here. Cheryl only got to stay here for a couple of months and then she was shipped back home, devastated. So, Posh would win on that count and many others. Posh is the groundbreaker, the WAG iconoclast, and now all of the little girl-banders and WAGs are trying to copy her.
Basically, I was trying to find some history of animosity between Cheryl and Victoria, and what I found surprised me. First of all, Posh has said nice things about Cheryl in interviews. Second, Cheryl has said bitchy things about Victoria?s FASHION. Oh noes. In 2009, Cheryl dismissed Victoria?s fashion collection as ?for older women? and ?not something Girls Aloud would wear.? Like ?not something Girls Aloud would wear? is some huge insult, I know. So it?s extra funny that Cheryl is wearing something by Posh.
Speaking of, Cheryl wants to be a designer too. She recently discussed her plans to begin a shoe line, which has caused one bitchy source to tell The Mail, ?Victoria has spent years trying to distance herself from the world of the WAGs that she and Cheryl inhabited when they were friends during the 2006 World Cup,’ a source told Heat magazine this week. She’s fought tooth and nail to be respected in the world of high fashion and last week she was the toast of New York’s Fashion Week. Now she feels as though Cheryl’s trying to piggy-back on all of her hard work.? In other words, Posh looked at Cheryl and said, ?Bitch. Please.?

Stepping out for a swanky event, Cheryl Cole was among the stars at the Pride of Britain Awards in London, England on Monday (October 3).
The former ?X Factor? beauty looked stunning in a long, Pink gown designed by Victoria Beckham as she arrived for pictures on the red carpet outside the Grosvenor House Hotel.
Even after years of hitting the red carpet, a nervous Cheryl tweeted to her fans, "How can I still be nervous about red carpets after 10 years.. Eeek! #flutterbies."
Just before, Cheryl looked to her fans for some assistance by tweeting, ?HELP!! I'm overwhelmed with glamour.. Feeling very very spoilt ;;) which earrings should I wear tonight??

Arriving for a fancy soiree as apart of the London Fashion Week festivities, Cheryl Cole was spotted at The Stylist pick launch party in London, England on Monday night (September 19).
The former ?X Factor? hottie looked glamorous in a red designer dress paired with nude heels complete with a beehive hairdo as she made her way past a group of adoring fans lining the entrance.
Aside from her UK partygoing doings, Cheryl recently made a trip to Camp Bastion in Helmand Province to film a special tribute for The Mirror newspaper?s Pride of Britain Awards.
Sadly, it is being reported that Cole is now receiving death threats from extremists who disagree with her decision to praise the soldiers in Afghanistan.
Hate preacher, Anjem Choudary, told press, "The more she is seen as the sweetheart of the forces and the more she is involved in Afghanistan, the more she will create enemies among the Muslims."

More than a week ago, we saw Cheryl Cole come out of ?hiding? in London, complete with a really bad makeover. After being dumped professionally, Cheryl did what so many women do after they?ve been dumped by a boyfriend: she cut her hair, dyed it a hideous color, and spackled on the motherload of makeup. Then, she called an ex and he came over for a booty call. Poor Cheryl! British sources say that she?s pretty much back with her douchey, womanizing ex-husband Ashley Cole, which is kind of depressing for her.
These photos show Cheryl in somewhat better light - they?re from a few nights ago in London Beverly Hills, when Cheryl made a friend come with her as she went out to meet her American ex, Derek Hough. Cheryl (who at this point, we?ve established, has AWFUL taste in men) began dating Derek shortly after she split with Ashley, and Cheryl dumped Derek when she thought her American career was going to be taking off and she could trade up for someone A-list (Clooney’s name was mentioned, hilariously). Cheryl looks better in these pics - see what a difference minimal makeup makes? She?s very pretty when she goes low-key. But! According to the British tabloids, Cheryl was a mess because Derek told her that Ashley was going to cheat on her again and again, and he (Derek) wouldn?t be around to ?pick up the pieces.? For real?
He was her ‘rock’ and her shoulder to cry on when her marriage fell apart. But Derek Hough has told Cheryl Cole that if she reconciles with ex-husband Ashley then he will not be there to pick up the pieces again. According to reports, the dancer, who was also by the pop star’s side when she was gravely ill with malaria, warned her not to go back to the Chelsea footballer because she will end up heartbroken.
Taking Girls Aloud band mate and friend Kimberley Walsh, 29, along for moral support, Cheryl, 28, met Derek, 26, for dinner in Los Angeles on Friday night, and broke the news that she was reconciling with Ashley, according to the Sunday Mirror. But Derek was said to be furious at the news and warned her that she would end up heartbroken again - but he would not be there for her again.
A friend told the paper: ‘He has accepted their relationship is over. But he still cares for her as a friend and is convinced Cheryl getting back with Ashley is going to end one way… with Cheryl in tears and heartbroken.’
Derek is believed to have told Cheryl that she deserves better and was gobsmacked that she would want to go back to the man that she has spent the last year getting over.
The friend added: ‘He told her, “a cheat will never change and whatever you think, he will betray you. If he breaks your heart again, I will not be your shoulder to cry on”.’
It is the first time that Derek and Cheryl have met up since her humiliating sacking from the X Factor USA judging panel two months ago.
Derek, who dated Cheryl for over a year, arrived 10 minutes later and the group spent more than an hour at a corner table talking intimately. But Derek left looking very upset about 15 minutes later, according to onlookers.
Derek, a dancer on American TV series Dancing With The Stars, the US version of Strictly Come Dancing, met Cheryl in 2009 when he was hired to perform in the video for her single Parachutes. At the time, she was still married to Ashley but the couple split after he was alleged to have cheated on her with five different women.

I know, I know. You don?t really care. I just thought it would be fun to cover these people who are on the lower end of the celebrity food chain (in America). Besides, even though I think Derek might have a secret love affair with dong, I appreciate that he?s trying to tell Cheryl something she should already know: she could do better. Much better. I?ll say it again: Cheryl could find a much better boyfriend by simply picking up a random at a bar.

Having just flown to the States for the first time since being dumped from "X Factor," Cheryl Cole stepped out for a weekend beginning meal in Beverly Hills on Friday night (July 8).
The British beauty was joined by gal pal Kimberley Walsh, with the two ladies heading to Sushi Roku to meet up with a few friends including former flame Derek Hough.
Of the trip to the States, a report from The Mirror tells that Miss Cole isn't in the U.S. to meet with TV execs - rather she just wanted a relaxing getaway.
The Mirror's insider said, "Cheryl booked this holiday 24 hours before jetting off.She originally wanted a girls? holiday with the band ? well, assuming Nadine Coyle would be ?busy?. She?s offered to fly Sarah over, and there is a chance she?ll join Cheryl and Kimberley later this week."

Here are some newish photos of Cheryl Cole from her birthday party this weekend. Cheryl has been ?in hiding? for weeks since she got pink-slipped by her supposed friend Simon Cowell, when she got dumped from the American version of The X Factor and replaced with Nicole Scherzinger. Notice anything different? Yes, Cheryl did what too many do after getting publicly dumped - she radically changed her hair. And it is NOT good. Cheryl chopped off her dark, pretty brown hair and lightened it to this gross-looking rusty-blondish-red color that doesn?t suit her at all. The cut is fug too. Poor Cheryl. AND she?s still wearing way too much makeup. What is wrong with her?!? She could be so attractive, and she just seems intent on making herself look so trashy and budget.
If all of that wasn?t enough, Cheryl is so depressed that she?s spending time with her womanizing, cheeseball ex-husband Ashley too. Gross.
Cheryl Cole’s exclusive 28th birthday party was THE place to be seen this weekend ? or at least it was for all the guests bar her ex-husband Ashley. For although the Chelsea and England footballer went to great lengths to attend the lavish bash ? making a midnight dash from Heathrow to the five-star venue ? he was very keen not to be spotted arriving or leaving. His chauffeur-driven car sneaked into the Sanderson Hotel unnoticed via the underground car park ? and when it was time to leave in the early hours of yesterday, he concealed himself in the back seat as the Audi A8 whisked him away at high speed.
Ashley?s four-hour appearance at the party, direct from his holiday in New York, has renewed speculation that he and Cheryl are getting back together, despite his reported infidelity. Last night Miss Cole?s publicist confirmed that Ashley had attended the party, but refused to be drawn any further on their relationship.
But a source close to the star told The Mail on Sunday: ?It was a small, private party held by Cheryl to celebrate her birthday with those who are really close to her. There were about 20 to 30 guests there. It was just friends and family, and Ashley was invited as well. She was over the moon that he had come because he had only just arrived back from America. The two of them are taking things slowly and it is early days, but Ashley is doing all the right things now. Most of the guests left the party at about 3am but Ashley stayed around for almost an hour longer to spend time with Cheryl. They are getting very close now and she needs someone to rely on.?
After sipping on Belvedere vodka, which the event was sponsored by, Cheryl and Ashley are said to have started dancing together by the DJ booth. Ashley?s mother Sue and brother Matthew told the News Of The World: ?They are very happy together.?
The tabloid also revealed that Cheryl?s mother Joan, 51, approached Ashley at the party and led him by hand to her daughter.
?That was Joan?s way of giving her seal of approval?, an insider told the newspaper. The pair then went to the bar to order more drinks, before Cheryl went home at 2am, leaving Ashley to go back to their former marital home alone.
The Girls Aloud singer, humiliatingly dumped from the American version of X Factor just over a month ago, spent an estimated 25,000 to effectively rent out half of the elite hotel for two days to pamper herself and close friends and family. She was in the 1,000-a-night penthouse for three nights, and booked the plush bungalow suite below her for her mother, Joan Callaghan, along with 20 more rooms for other party guests.
Sporting her new blonde bob, Cheryl wore a white Sixties-style Stella McCartney chiffon dress and high-heeled sandals to the party, which was the first time she has been seen in public since her exit from the US X Factor. After cutting an extravagant cake, designed to look like a pile of boutique gifts, Cheryl danced and chatted the night away.
But her ex-husband?s presence is believed to have caused tensions within her family, who are thought to have advised her not to let Ashley back into her life. Miss Cole?s mother is said to be furious that he has wormed his way back into her heart.
After the party, Ashley, 30, returned to their 5 million former marital home in Godalming, Surrey, where he is currently living. Cheryl reportedly stayed there overnight with him three weeks ago, but it is thought the pair did not spend the night together.
A source said: ?Who knows what is going to happen in the future with them? Ashley is a predator, he likes a challenge, and Cheryl is so tired and emotional that she may just give in.?

I wish I could give Cheryl a style and a life makeover. I would make her dye her hair back to that lovely brunette color, I would make her wash all of that junk off of her face and teach her how to do a ?natural? makeup look. I would put her in some cute, low-key outfits that flattered her figure (although, honestly, her clothes aren?t the biggest problem). Then I would encourage to spend time with dudes that bear no resemblance in character or disposition to Ashley Cole. She should date a lawyer-type, or a banker, maybe. Isn?t she one of the most desired women in Britain? She could do much, much better by simply picking up a random at a bar.

The former US ?X Factor? judge dazzled in a flirty white dress and heels and was all smiles as she made her way inside.
With a new, shorter, light-colored ?do, celebrity hair stylist, Andrew Barton, weighs in on the change, telling, "It?s something women do when they go through big upheavals in their lives, whether in their job or personal life ? and, let?s face it, Cheryl?s had both.?
He added, "She?s obviously making the most of this opportunity for change because she?s had a good chop as well.?
