Getting back to work a day after sweeping the R&B categories at the Billboard Music Awards, Rihanna headed to a Long Beach recording studio on Monday (May 20).
The ?Diamonds? diva looked lovely in a figure-hugging sleeveless black dress and tennis shoes as she carried her laptop and iPhone from her convertible.
In addition to her three nods for Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Album, and Top R&B Song, the 25-year-old Barbadian also scooped up the Top Radio Songs Artist award at Sunday night?s ceremony, which she did not attend.
Instead of mingling with her fellow stars in the music world, RiRi chose a low-key way to spend her evening with dinner out at G. Baldi in Santa Monica.

Here are Rihanna and Ty Ty at the Game Seven of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals between the Chicago Bulls and the Brooklyn Nets during the 2013 NBA Playoffs at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
RiRi cheered on the Nets, signed autographs and posed for pictures. Following the game, the 25-year-old and her best friend, Melissa Forde hit an after-party for the Mayweather-Guerrero fight at the 40/40 Club. Guests also included Chris Rock, Wale and Adrienne Bailon.

The ?Take a Bow? songstress hit seven countries in seven days for seven shows to promote her Unapologetic album, and she invited a team of cameras to document the whole thing.
In the new teaser, Ri-Ri tells the audience, ?Second show in, it?s already feeling a little brutal,? prior to taking the stage in Toronto, Canada.

The "We Found Love" singer showed off her toned physique in a tiny sleeveless midriff-baring black top and matching shorts with strappy heels as she held hands with a gal pal on the way out.
Earlier in the evening, she wowed the crowd with her concert at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida before indulging in some serious puffing.
Stoked for the unofficial holiday celebrating marijuana, the 24-year-old singer tweeted, "#420 it's a celebration bitches!! Thank you to all my ft. Lauderdale and Miami fam that came through?" with a photo of herself smoking. Later, she hung out with Adriana Lima and even chowed down on a green 420 cake.
