Now that “Girls Next Door” star Kendra Wilkinson has moved out of the Playboy mansion and gotten engaged, she’s spilling the beans on what it’s like having been Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend. Namely, that she had to sneak out of the house to get a little non-82-year-old wiener action from time to time. She told The Sun
?Besides the nights we went out, I only saw Hef, like, once a day walking through the halls to his office - there were never solo dates. I had to have sex every now and then, so I had to kind of sneak it.
[Fellow girlfriend and co-star] Bridget [Marquardt] told me that she’s been faithful all these years, and I was like, ‘How the hell can you do that?’ I had to have sex so I could feel my age, like a healthy human being.?
I’m sure you felt less like a human being and more like a sea bass futilely sucking on worm-scented Goby lure. You could probably have just as much fun with five inches of uncooked bread dough and a couple of kiwis in an old stretched-out gym sock.

Kendra Wilkinson is dishing on life at the Playboy mansion in the latest issue of US Weekly. It sounds like Kendra is saying that she didn’t have sex with Hef, but was expected to stay faithful to him and found the restrictions too hard to deal with long term. She’s now engaged to football player Hank Bassett and was sneaking out to see him while she live under Hef’s paternal thumb:

?I had to have sex every now and then, so I had to kind of sneak it,? she said, noting that Bridget and Kendra stayed faithful to Hef. ?I was like ?How the hell can you do that?? I had to have [sex] so I could feel my age, like a healthy human being.?
She also says she didn?t spend a lot of time with Hef. ?Besides the nights we went out, I only saw Hef, like, once a day walking through the halls to his office ? there were never solo dates ? Kendra also bitched about Hef?s notoriously controlling ways, saying it was ?way more strict than my life has ever been? and that it drove her ?insane? that staff members would keep track of the girlfriends whenever they left the Mansion. In fact, staff would note the times they left and returned to the mansion in a book, and Hef would review it each morning. And they weren?t allowed to spend the holidays away from the Mansion. And the paycheck? An allowance of $1,000 a week. I kind of have trouble believing that. Shit, their hair extensions alone had to be like $3K a month in maintenance. And the wardrobes?! Those girls were definitely spending more than a grand a month.
Kendra said, ?I hate putting my hand out, but we couldn?t have jobs other than getting appearance fees. Hef was kind of like my best friend, but a sugar daddy at the same time ? Hef made me feel beautiful. Now I?m totally against [Hefner's] way of life, with three girlfriends and all of that.?

It’s widely assumed that Holly was the only one of the three who regularly had sex with Hef, and that’s probably true because Bridget has said that she was celibate for months. I wonder what kind of creepy deal Hef’s new girlfriends, the 19 year-old twins and their college student doppleganger, made in order to get a roof over their heads, free food, and the infamy that goes along with being linked to a dude old enough to be their great grandfather.
I really enjoy “The Girls Next Door” and part of the appeal of the show is the pure excitement all of the women have for the great things they get to do. They all seem genuinely thrilled at the fun experiences they have and it offers a lot of vicarious fun. I doubt that the show will have half the appeal with a new, younger cast of barely-legal women that are likely used to getting their way and take more for granted. Hefner had a great cast of women and although his latest co-eds are some compensation, it’s probably like switching from eating at The Olive Garden to McDonalds. One at least has the surface level semblance of class.

Hugh Hefner and Holly Madison of officially broke up in October, but things were rocky for quite some time. Holly shares that, as we all suspected, reality television break ups are timed for maximum media impact. Which is just the way we like ?em. Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt are featured in a special edition of Playboy, to say farewell to the former girlfriends.
“I directed and produced the shoot,? Madison told Las Vegas Weekly of her own Girls Next Door cover shoot. “I?m really proud of that… I?m just excited to have shot and produced the shoot myself.”
Madison, who is now dating illusionist Criss Angel, said the photos were taken before she split from Hugh Hefner.
“We actually shot it in July,” she said of her photo session. “It was back before I got conservative.”

Bridget Marquardt is also a little pissed at Hef too, for his bad manners. Not about these nude photographs, although selling your ex-girlfriends nude photos would be considered at least bad taste in most situations, but rather replacing the pictures of her around the mansion while she was still living there.
The 35-year-old beauty - who, along with Hugh’s ex-girlfriends Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson, recently moved out of the lavish house after splitting from the magazine mogul - claims Hefner, 82, cleared images of her away and put up ones of his new lovers, twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, with frightening speed.
When asked if she was finding the break-up hard to deal with, the Girls Next Door star replied: “The only thing I have remotely hard feelings about is that we weren’t even gone yet and all the pictures throughout the house were changed to the new girlfriends, and I thought, ‘That’s kind of rude’.
“But Hef is so supportive of the show and of me dating, we are closer than ever.”
Despite hinting that she is ready to embark on a new relationship, Marquardt insisted she is still single and is just looking for fun.
She added to Life and Style magazine: “I would say I’m single. I like some people, but I’m fresh out of the Mansion, and we haven’t been allowed to date this whole time, or not legally anyway. I’m not home much, and there are some people I think are cute and nice - no one famous or anything.

I think one little phrase sums up this whole thing, ?we haven’t been allowed to date this whole time, or not legally anyway.? Obviously the whole relationship with Hugh Hefner, and the career opportunities that spring from it, is a contract. All of the girls have at some point spoken about life with Hugh, and it wasn’t always flattering.
A few years ago law graduate Izabella St James wrote a book, Bunny Tales, about her time as Hef?s girlfriend. She wrote about catfights between the girlfriends, Hugh Hefner?s strict rules around the house, and that yes, they did have orgies once a week. Hef has Viagra on tap, and doesn?t do much except lie there. The girls aren?t forced to participate, but they are expected to go watch. Don?t pretend you weren?t curious.

US Weekly has a new interview between former Girls Next Door Bridget Marquardt, 35, and Kendra Wilkinson, 23. It’s very long and chatty and if you have some time to kill and enjoy pointless girl talk it’s a fun read. Kendra and Bridget talk at extensive length about their favorite junk food and the way they use portion control without depriving themselves of treats. They also discuss their workout methods. Bridget loves doing trapese work while Kendra does drill-type exercises with her fiance, Philadelphia Eagles football player Hank Baskett.
On using portion control instead of counting calories
BM: Do you count calories?
KW: I don’t even know what a calorie is. I don’t give a f–k what calories are. I don’t go by calories. I go just by portions, and we’re both very active so we really don’t need to worry about that. And me and you, we’re the same. We want to live our lives. We have one life to live. Why not live it and eat what you want? But be smart about what you it. It’s all common sense. I don’t think you need to be on any special diet.
BM: It has to be something you can maintain for the rest of your life.
KW: Exactly.
BM: Otherwise, it sets you up to fail.
KW: It does, they do. They really do. I really don’t believe in diets. You stress yourself out. You’ll have extra stress on you. “Oh my god, pizza! But I can’t eat it!”
BM: You can eat anything you want but in moderation. Diet is a bad word. You can’t keep that up the rest of your life. And you’re always going to set yourself up for failure.
KW: Yeah, the word “diet” is stupid and it sucks and I don’t believe in it.
BM: And I definitely don’t count calories either. Sometimes, I’ll look just in case something that I thought might be good for you. for instance, those granola bars. Sometimes I’ll look to see how many calories they have, and some might surprise me and it’s, like, 3000 calories in that or something. I’d be like, “Whoa! I won’t eat those as much.” If it only has 100 calories, then I know I’m okay eating a few of these.
On the moment Kendra decided to get fit after a mild diss by Hefner
BM: When did you start to worry about your diet? Like, “Oh I need to start eating healthier?”
KW: You know when!
BM: I do know when. Do you want me to tell it? I won’t say it that bad, I’ll just give the rundown. We’re on our way to a wedding [about four years ago] with Hef in the limo. Holly was in the wedding. At first, you were like, “Oh I need to start working out. I’m getting kind of fat.” And Hef said, “Yeah, there’s a gym downstairs.”
KW: Yeah, Hef, out of all people, said that to me.
BM: Yeah, “There’s a gym downstairs, and you have to be careful with out kitchen.”
KW: And I’m like, [imitates wailing]. I was crying so bad!
BM: I would’ve too. That was so mean.
KW: I was, like, crying.
BM: And then you got super skinny and super toned. And you became like, fitness girl!
Kendra’s workout tips
BM: What are your secret diet and workout tips when you need to lose a few pounds? For like a photo shoot or something?
KW: I do a 22-minute drill on the treadmill. It’s fast, but it does the trick. I do it at a 15 percent incline. I do it all the way up. It just hits that spot. And just taking a big bar, or big weight, and doing a couple squats and just doing regular sit-ups and I’m done. Did you say just before a photo shoot? For me, I think drinking a lot of water the day before and if I have a little time to do it, maybe a lot of protein and not so many carbs. Like I’m trying. If this photo shoot means so much to me and I really have to try hard, that’s what I’ll do. What’s your normal workout?
BM: When I’m home, it’s trapeze, of course. Or I like going on hikes.
KW: And you have your own trapeze bars and stuff?
BM: Yeah, trapeze bars at the mansion. But while I’m on the road with the Travel Channel, it’s harder though so I try to keep it active. We’re doing all kinds of things from climbing things.
Toward the end of the interview just when you’ve had enough diet and fitness talk, Bridget asks Kendra if she’s still planning on getting married at the Playboy mansion. Kendra says yes, but then admits that she’s looking at other places with her fiance, Hank, and it sounds like the mansion is just one potential venue:
BM: Kendra, tell me about your wedding. What’s going on?
KW: I’m waiting for Hank to come down here when he’s done with his football and help me plan the wedding.
BM: It’s going to still be at the mansion, right?
KW: Yeah, we’re going to do our thing and walk it. We’re going to choose together, you know? We might do something in San Diego. We’re still thinking about it. He’s never really been to L.A. so he’s going to be with me and we’re going to walk the grounds. We’re going to walk to places and choose together where we’re going to get married. Do everything together. I’m bringing him to the mansion.
Bridget also discusses her future plans. She’s still living in the mansion and has a friendly relationship with Hef, but says it’s time for her to move on and that the “vibe is different” there with all the new young girls. Both Kendra and Bridget want to have children and joke about how they’ll continue to remain friends at that stage of their lives:
KW: I know, they’re so good! So are you still happy with Hef? Do you want kids someday? Those two are in the wrong.
BM: I’m still happy at the mansion, but I am moving on. I mean you and Holly are gone. There are all new girls and the vibe is definitely different. My career with the Travel Channel is definitely where I want to focus and so I feel like it’s time to move on. I’ve definitely started packing. My relationship with Hef is still really good and we talk all the time. We’re very open about it, but I feel like it’s time for me to start dating and to move on. And I definitely want kids some day so I feel like now is a good time to make the transition. Focus on the Travel Channel.
KW: We should all have kids at the same time.
BM: We could have a baby shower together!
KW: We’ll name our show The Kids Next Door.
BM: I like it.

19 year-old ex-felon twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon were the first of Hugh Hefner’s replacement girlfriends to step in when the Girls Next Door trio fell apart. While dark-haired January 2009 Playboy cover mode Dasha Astafieva was thought to be joining Hugh Hefner’s team of post-Girls Next Door replacement girlfriends, she has yet to officially join the crew. Ukranian-born Astafieva may have hurt her chances at a spot on the reality dream team by wearing a see-through knit dress with only a pair of thong underwear to a Playboy event and proceeding to remove the thong on the red carpet. Instead of Astafieva, who seems to have pissed off the competition, Hugh has a more typical third girlfriend. 22 year-old San Diego State coed Crystal Harris has announced that she’s officially in the mansion along with the Shannon Twins. From the way Harris words her introduction, she’s in on the decision making process as to who is allowed in the mansion and Astafieva may have stripped her way out of the blond clique:

The 22-year-old lesser-known girlfriend has frequently been photographed by the 82-year-old Playboy founder’s side, but never got a proper public introduction after former girlfriends Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson exited the Playboy Mansion.
Instead, fellow girlfriends - and 19-year-old twins - Karissa and Kristina Shannon nabbed headlines with their arrest records and, well, twindom, in the aftermath of the shake-up.
Harris introduced herself on an E! online message board over the holidays, telling fans that “Hef gave me permission to fill people in on the new updates as a voice from the mansion.”
No other girlfriends are in the mix at this time, she says, but “there are a couple that we have interest in. … As for now, it is just us three.”
Despite her low-key status, Harris already has a fan site, but seems to focus most of her attention on her MySpace page.
“I believe in opening your heart and letting your walls down, it is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all,” Harris says on her site, which is peppered with Disney characters, cute animals, inspirational quotes and plenty of pink.

According to the Daily News, Harris hasn’t yet appeared in the print version of Playboy. She was an online Co-Ed of the week under the name “Crystal Carter.” It’s unknown whether the series will continue on E! but you can bet they’re trying to plan for it with this latest girlfriend. You kind of hope there is a follow-up season in the works and that these super young girls aren’t just hanging around a guy old enough to be their great grandfather for the free publicity and perks that go along with “dating” him. They should at least get a show out of it.
I can’t help but wonder if any of these women actually do some kind of, you know, service for Hefner. You would hope they draw the line at heavy petting, but it’s doubtful. Maybe he just likes the company.

Holly Madison, until recently one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends and a star on The Girls Next Door, has introduced her boyfriend, illusionist Criss Angel, to her parents. Considering that her parents have never met any of her former boyfriends, this may be a precursor to wedding bells. The rumors are substantiated by a shopping trip to Berger & Son Fine Jewelers on Christmas Eve, where another shopper claimed to have overheard a proposal:
“They were looking at one ring and Criss said, ‘Would you marry me?’ ” our spy reports. “Holly didn’t say anything. She just looked at him.”
But then the couple saw that a crowd was beginning to form in front of the store,so they quickly took off.
“Criss handed the ring back to the sales guy and said, ‘Thanks,’ ” the spy said.
Reps for Madison and Angel say we shouldn’t go looking for their wedding registry just yet. “Criss bought Holly a ring for her birthday,” Madison’s rep said. “It’s a flower ring.”

On The Girls Next Door, Holly talked about getting married to Hef almost every episode. This was usually followed by a resigned sigh and a comment about how Hef doesn’t want to get hitched again. So it isn’t that surprising that there is talk of a wedding already. Adding to the speculation is the fact that another of Hef’s former girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson, is already engaged to her boyfriend of three months, Hank Baskett. Their wedding will happen on June 27 at the Playboy Mansion. Holly’s rep doesn’t do a very good job denying her client’s engagement, so it’s still possible we’ll see a double ceremony.
It’s also interesting that two of the Girls have found love so quickly after their “breakups” with Hef. Although there was of course media control surrounding their removal from the Playboy Mansion due to the filming and subsequent airing of their reality show, it seems so orchestrated. While both Holly and Kendra are said to have been dating their significant others since October, after they broke up with Hef, there were rumors circulating about their love lives before the official “breakup.” The date that Holly uses as her anniversary with Criss is probably way off from the official date. But with Kendra celebrating her wedding at the Playboy Mansion,it’s obvious that Hef is, and has always been, in on the joke.

Holly Madison is no good at getting guys to propose to her. She spent years by Hugh Hefner?s side, itching for marriage. After way too long she finally wised up ? only to land herself with another guy who doesn?t seem interested in popping the question. Holly recently told Us Magazine that she?ll propose to boyfriend Criss Angel ? but only after he agrees to wear the paper ring she made him.
Things are getting serious between illusionist Criss Angel and Holly Madison, but don’t expect him to pop the question any time soon.
“I actually made Criss a paper ring, but he won?t wear it,” Madison, 28, told Usmagazine.com at Las Vegas club LAX on Friday. “When he starts wearing his paper ring, I will be the one to propose.”
Added Angel: “You know, what Holly and I have is really something that money can?t buy. She is enough for me.”
In between passionate kisses, the couple — who were celebrating joint birthdays - Angel turned 41 on Friday - while Madison turns 29 on Dec. 23. - opened up about their Christmas plans.
“I am getting him all snowboarding stuff. But I?m not supposed to tell you that!” Madison whispered to Us.

It?s hard to tell if that thing about the paper ring is some inside joke/pretend fight between the two of them or if Criss really doesn?t want to wear it, and Holly?s saying she?d propose to him if he puts it on in a ?when hell freezes over? sense. But they seem pretty into each other and happy, so it?s probably more of a joke.
The pair are ? not surprisingly ?spending New Year?s in Vegas as well. In fact they don?t ever seem to leave. Lest you think it?ll be a romantic night for them, they?ve managed to make sure that doesn?t happen ? by inviting their parents along. Holly noted that it?ll be the first time they all meet, which sure sounds like they?re getting serious with each other. I?m guessing a non-paper ring will probably be in the works in short order.

Living it up in Sin City, the “Girls Next Door” were spotted out for a book launch at the Forum Shops in the Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino on Saturday evening (December 20).
With Kendra Wilkinson (who showed off her engagement ring), Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt all on hand, the three lovely ladies smiled as they posed for pictures and greeted fans - trying to build up sales during the holiday shopping season.

Aged player Hugh Hefner most likely is adding another woman to his passel of girlfriends. Ukrainian model ? and, of course, Playmate - Dasha Astafieva seems likely to join the show. Dasha is on the cover of the January 2009 Playboy. Hugh squired her around for the evening at Playboy’s 55th anniversary party this weekend. ?Girls Next Door? costars ? and ex-girlfriends ? Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison failed to show up for the event.
Hugh Hefner showed off yet another new addition to his posse (besides twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon) at Playboy’s 55th anniversary party: Playmate Dasha Astafieva.
While Holly Madison was in Las Vegas with Criss Angel and Kendra Wilkinson was in Philly to watch fianc Hank Baskett’s Eagles game, Girls Next Door costar Bridget Marquardt came out for the bash at One Sunset.
She told E! News that Holly even helped handpick Dasha to pose in the mag. So will the Ukrainian export be joining Hef’s harem?
Sounds like a strong possibility, according to Hef himself. “You think we’re gonna let her get away?” he replied, when asked if Dasha will be moving into the mansion.
Bridget says they’re still trying to figure out what will happen to The Girls Next Door, what with all the changes at the mansion, but it will be something that’s good for everyone.

Dasha is much prettier than Karissa and Kristina Shannon, who both look trashy. Part of me wonders if Hugh picked her just to spite Holly. It must really eat away at her to have her ex ? who supposedly broke her heart ?move on to another lady who she personally selected for the magazine. I think it?s clear where Holly and Kendra are going with the show. If they can?t show up for Playboy?s 55th anniversary party, obviously they don?t want to be involved with it anymore.
