Joining Brittany Murphy’s family in mourning this holiday season, Minnie Driver is grieving the loss of her beloved father Ronnie.
The “Good Will Hunting” actress lost her dad last week when he suffered a massive heart attack and subsequently passed away in London, England.
Minnie and her family held a funeral yesterday (December 23) in the English capital where Ms. Driver wore a bright red dress and read a tear-filled eulogy.
Of her wardrobe choice, Minnie told press, “I am not being disrespectful. I am wearing red because my father always used to tell me that I was the kind of girl who would a wear a red dress to a funeral. So I wouldn’t want to disappoint you, Dad.”

Getting in a full day’s PDA, Minnie Driver was spotted making out with a mystery male in Santa Monica, California yesterday afternoon (October 8).
The “Good Will Hunting” actress kissed her gentleman caller goodbye and hopped into her car shortly after she realized that there were shutterbugs nearby.
Earlier in the day, Miss Driver made the most of the SoCal sunshine with a trip to the beach in Malibu with her pooch pal.
Minnie frolicked in the sand with her dog, playing fetch while looking cute and casual in a pair of Pink Victoria’s secret sweatpants with a v-neck top and beach hat.
