Last year, Fergie was the cover girl for the American edition of Cosmopolitan, all to promote her role in Nine. Now she is the August cover girl for Cosmo UK, and I think they just used the same old interview, but added a new photo shoot. Either that, or Fergie talks about the same old bullsh-t in every interview. No, I think this is a repeat. The one quote - ?In Italy, Catholic boys are raised to believe there are two types of women: the Madonna and the whore … And me? I’m both? is repeated in both interviews. So let?s just enjoy the pretty photos. They are nice - sure, Fergie looks a bit ?Shopped in them, but she also looks pretty healthy.
Fergie shows off her newly slim body on the cover of Cosmopolitan UK’s ‘Body Confidence’ issue, and in the interview she talks about gaining weight for ‘Nine’ and husband Josh Duhamel, though she does not get into the stripper incident. Here are some excerpts:
On her universal appeal:
“You know, in Italy, Catholic boys are raised to believe there are two types of women: the Madonna and the whore … And me? I’m both.”
On not knowing whether Josh Duhamel was “the one”:
“At that stage of my life, I don’t think I’d have thought that about anybody. I’d made my lists of qualities that I wanted, and you can’t find out if someone has those in a week. It was learning what he was made of that made me fall in love with him.”
On how Josh reacted to her weight gain for her ‘Nine’:
“When I came home from filming, he was excited. He enjoys having both: the extra meat to grab when it’s there and the tight stomach when that’s there. He always gives me compliments.”
On having kids:
“You can be a mother and still completely sexy … Right now, I don’t want anything clouding my focus. Right now, I’m living in the present.”

I actually doubt Fergie still feels the same way about having kids. My opinion? She and husband Josh Duhamel are already trying, or are about to start trying to get pregnant. I believe that not everything is going well in the Black Eyed Peas, but instead of quitting outright, Fergie is probably going to try dialing down the drama by just getting knocked up.

After a rumor began circulating last week, Fergie has confirmed that she will not be leaving the Black Eyed Peas.
Recent reports claimed that the ?My Humps? singer was set to quit the group due to tensions with bandmate Will.i.am.
Of the situation, she tells, ?I get girlfriends phoning me saying, ?Are you okay? Is everything alright? Is it true???
Clearing up the rumor, Fergie told press, ?I really don?t know where these rumors come from but I can say right now I?m not pregnant and I?m not breaking up.?

The Black-Eyed Peas are about to lose their only black-eyed pants pee-er, because Fergie is rumored to be leaving the band after clashing with Will.I.Am. According to Radar Online:
?Fergie is saying she wants out of the band,? the source said. ?Things have gotten really bad with Will.i.Am. And it?s not just Fergie who is clashing with him. So is the rest of the band. His ego is out of control.?
Fergie has kept the news so secret that very few people know and she is not ready to make the announcement right now.
?I don?t know if she?ll admit or deny it when it leaks out, but I do know that it?s 100 percent true, she?s got everything planned out and she says she can?t be convinced to change her mind. And she really wants a baby with Josh,? the source said, referring to Fergie?s husband Josh Duhamel. ?Between that and the bad blood with Will, it looks like the 2011 tour is in big trouble and she?s saying she?s going to split for good.?
I don’t think Fergie’s really thought this through. Misguided meth-faced singers with no discernible talent are a dime a dozen these days. Perhaps you’ve seen audition week on “American Idol.”

Joining in on the weekend's red carpet festivities, Fergie and her Black Eyed Peas bandmates were among the stars on hand for the 2010 BET Awards.
Held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (June 27), the "I Gotta Feeling" hitmakers looked in high spirits as they greeted the crowd and posed for pictures ahead of the annual ceremony.

Despite being a widely-successful hitmaking machine, it seems as if tension may cause a split of the Black Eyed Peas.
While the "I Gotta Feeling" group is currently booked for the entire summer, plans to spread their sound with a 2011 trek aren't going so smoothly - as Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson is said to be considering leaving the group due to her ill feelings for Will.I.Am.
With the report being unconfirmed, sources tell Radar Online that Fergie is fed up with dealing with her bandmate while also getting the itch to start a family with actor husband Josh Duhamel.
Radar's insider tells, ?Fergie is saying she wants out of the band and the second half of the tour isn?t confirmed for early next year. Things have gotten really bad with Will.i.Am. And it?s not just Fergie who is clashing with him. So is the rest of the band. His ego is out of control. Fergie just wants to get away from the whole thing.?

With the world focused on South Africa, the Black Eyed Peas were among the many stars to take the stage in Johannesburg on Thursday night (June 10).
Playing at the Orlando Stadium, Fergie, Will.I.Am and Taboo energized the packed house during the FIFA World Cup Kick-off Celebration Concert.
Other acts to perform on the emotionally charged evening were Shakira, John Legend and Alicia Keys, as well as South African musical legend Hugh Maskela.
The festivities come just as the 2010 FIFA World Cup prepares for its first day of matches on Friday, June 11th.

Joining the long list of our favorite celebrities to team up with Avon, Fergie has joined forces with the cosmetic brand and will be launching her own perfume.
The ?Meet Me Halfway? songstress is the latest face of the US company and the perfume is set to be called Outspoken.
The fragrance is said to be feature hints of blackberry, starfruit, saffron, jasmine, passion flower, ebony, black leather and vetiver and will cost around $28.00.
Of her latest venture, Ms Fergie told press, ?Avon has really allowed my personality to come through.?
