Some celebrity pregnancies seem to drag on forever, with expectant celebrity moms seeming to gestate for what feels like a year and a half (case in point: doesn?t it feel like Gisele is due any minute now? She?s not.) Anna Faris was not one of those women. Anna and her husband Chris Pratt announced their first pregnancy in May, and Anna just gave birth yesterday. The baby came early ? which Chris and Anna say in their statement. The baby was due ?in the fall? according to their original pregnancy announcement, which makes me think the baby probably came more than a month early. So, the baby is in the NICU for now, but the fact that they released a statement already makes me think that everything will be fine and everybody is being taken care of. Anna gave birth to a boy ? they?ve named him Jack!
It’s official: funny couple Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are parents!
The Dictator star, 35, and the Parks and Recreation actor, 33, welcomed a son, Jack, on Saturday, Faris’ rep tells Us Weekly.
“Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are happy to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy Jack,” her rep says. “He arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU. The happy parents thank you for your warm wishes and ask that you honor their privacy during this time.”
Earlier this month, a source close to the couple told Us the pair is thrilled to be starting a family together. “They planned for this baby and now seemed as good of a time as ever,” the insider explained. “They really will be the best parents.”
A second source says Faris and Pratt, who wed in 2009, were “so excited” to become first-time parents. “Having a kid is a big deal to both of them — they didn’t take this lightly.”
Pratt, who shows off his musical skills as goofy MouseRat frontman Andy Dwyer on Parks and Rec, is also “excited to have a little guy to teach guitar,” the insider added. After his critically acclaimed performance in 2011?s Moneyball (opposite Brad Pitt), Pratt “has been into baseball again,” the insider revealed. “I’m sure he’s going to sign his son up.”

Congrats to Anna and Chris! I truly hope everything is fine with Anna and the baby, and that they can bring the little fella home soon. I really enjoyed how low-key her pregnancy was, but maybe I liked it so much because it felt so brief. And while I personally love the name Jack, it really feels like every other celebrity named their son Jack or Jackson. I imagine the kindergartens from here to 2020 will have at least of a third of all the boys being named Jack or Jackson. Or Pilot Inspektor.

Stepping out to make sure her health is in tip-top shape, Anna Faris was spotted arriving at a local medical building in Los Angeles, CA on Monday (July 16).
The "Scary Movie" actress kept her office visit comfy and casual wearing black sweatpants, a t-shirt and black baseball cap before heading inside.
Though the 35-year-old is starting to show her adorable growing baby bump, she was recently featured in the latest installment of Flaunt magazine.
Now that she's having a little boy of her own, Anna opened up to the publication about her wild imagination as a child saying, "I had two really good girlfriends, and for awhile we called ourselves 'BBMs,' which was Big Boobed Mamas. Which, of course, really wasn't the case. I was like the most underdeveloped. I was concave-chested. I had a lot of inside jokes with myself. And I was always constantly imagining things, constantly imagining that I had an audience in the woods. If I was making something to eat, I was on a cooking show, or if I was in my room, I would pretend to be like Oprah."
Also in the article, Miss Faris opened up her thoughts on appearing nude in a film, "I get asked the nudity question all the time: 'Would you ever do it?' I don't know what that means, I think what they're really trying to ask is, 'Where do you view your career? Are you desperate enough to do something like that?' I don't know what it really means. What's the difference between showing your boobs in a comedy and showing it in a dramatic movie? And I don't know. It's a frustrating one. In the first 'Scary Movie' I had funny boobs. We actually shot pig tits where I like opened up my blouse, but I don't think it actually ever aired. They tested it and people got freaked out."

She?s excited about becoming a mother, and Anna Faris has revealed that she?ll be giving birth to a baby boy!
The ?House Bunny? babe and her husband Chris Pratt (married in 2009) couldn?t be happier about the news, and are planning on welcoming their baby this fall.
An insider told press, "She's very excited about it. She's six months along and everything is going great, just as planned."
The source added, "They're both happy and are really looking forward to being parents." After their wedding, Anna had revealed, ?We want to populate!?

Putting her baby bump on display, Anna Faris was spotted taking her three dogs for an early morning walk with her husband, Chris Pratt, in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday (June 13).
Hanging onto two of her dogs' leashes while her husband took the other, the "House Bunny" actress tried to keep a low profile in sunglasses, a hat, blue sweats and a loose fitting grey tee-shirt which revealed her growing tummy.
Anna and her "Parks and Recreation" husband announced last month that they are expecting their first child together, however, the baby isn't slowing down her career.
While she prepares for her bundle of joy to arrive later this year, the 35-year-old actress is keeping busy filming "I Give It A Year" which follows the trials and tribulations of a pair of newlyweds during their first year as a married couple, and is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2013.

The main character has already made red carpet appearances and we've caught a few small clips, but now Paramount Pictures has released an extended sneak peek for their new film, ?The Dictator?.
On Monday (May 14), just two days before the movie is set to hit theaters, the new clip was revealed via iTunes movie trailers while giving eager moviegoers a taste of what they can expect.
The clip opens with a speech from Sacha Baron Cohen, who plays the dictator, as he talks to his iPhone while asking Siri to remind him to ?behead? certain individuals and DVR the Real Housewives of a fictional city.
The clip later moves to Cohen and a co-star getting on a helicopter ride in New York City and accidentally scaring their fellow American passengers by making terrorist-like statements.
The R-rated comedy is the heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.
Also starring Anna Faris, John C. Reilly and Megan Fox, "The Dictator" is set to hit theaters Wednesday (May 16), but you can watch the hysterical extended clip below!

With her new movie "The Dictator" set to hit theaters on May 11th, Anna Faris churned up promotions by landing the cover of the April/May 2012 issue of BlackBook magazine.
The 35-year-old actress showed off a steamier side for the Kate Orne shot spread while talking about her upcoming movies and getting her start in acting at the young age of nine.

On landing a role in 'The Dictator':
?We shot a lot. It?ll be a surprise to me what storylines they keep in and what they don?t. When it comes down to it, I think I got the role because I?m willing to just make an a** out of myself.?
On shooting 'The Dictator':
?You have to really be on your toes be very malleable. Sacha definitely thrives on making people uncomfortable. He?s like a bulldog that way. When he senses he?s making someone mildly uncomfortable, he just clenches on and won?t let go. It?s fun for an actor to be able to play off that. You just had to be alert. There was a lot of Red Bull-drinking on my part.?
On getting her start at the age of nine playing Young Clara in Arthur Miller?s Danger Memory:
?I got $200 for the run of the show and I bought myself a piano phone. That was my first big purchase. I was cast in all dramatic stuff: a play about the Holocaust, Heidi, To Kill a Mockingbird, and these plays that my parents just loved and were very?whatever the opposite of Scary Movie is.?
On her new project titled 'Besties':
?It?s inspired by a stalker roommate. My agent wants me to be the girl who is getting stalked, but I really want to be the stalker girl, I really do. It would be so fun. I think I?m going to have to put my foot down. It would kill me to work with another actress who is having all the fun.?

Hoping to stake its claim as one of the breakout comedies of the year, "What's Your Number" has made it's theatrical debut (September 30).
The romantic flick stars Anna Faris, Chris Evans, Andy Samberg, Aziz Ansari, and Joel McHale, along with a few other funny castmates to boot.
?What?s Your Number? is based on Karyn Bosnak?s novel ?20 Times a Lady? about a woman who beings a wild search for the best ?ex? of her life after reading a magazine article that leads her to believe she?s going to be forever alone."
As for a girl's "number" in real life, Faris told press, ?It?s a funny thing. As a society, we associate so much with that number. It?s really tough for women. Let?s say you?ve only been with your guy. That says something about you. If the girl has slept with 50 people, it says something else."

I just can?t get over how completely odd and jacked Anna Faris?s face is looking these days. We discussed this last week, but I?m still disturbed. What is going on here? I think it?s a combination of Botox, lip injections, too-blonde hair, some weird eyebrow situation and bangs trauma. It?s terrible.
Anyway, Anna?s new film, What?s Your Number?, comes out this weekend. It doesn?t look very good - and the reviews aren?t great either (22% on Rotten Tomatoes). The movie is basically about a chick who has boned 20 guys and she decides to go back and re-examine all of her old lovers to see if any of them are her ?soul mate?. To promote the film, Anna revealed her own ?number?: FIVE. Six really, if you include her current husband Chris Pratt.
Anna Faris candidly revealed that she bedded a total of five guys before marrying her husband, ?Moneyball? star Chris Pratt, in 2009.
?I?m at five,? the star said at a screening of ?What?s Your Number?? ?Don?t you think five is kind of low? I?m 34!? During a pre-screening interview Tuesday night with Marie Claire editor Joanna Coles, Faris added, ?I?m not a very good lover. I?m so nervous about my sexuality.?
In the film, Faris plays an unlucky-in-love woman who frets she?ll never find Mr. Right after learning the average woman sleeps with 10.5 men before finding ?the one,? and she?s bordering on 20.
?I think 20 is kind of low,? she told Coles. ?Shouldn?t it be like 70?? Faris — who was recently hailed by Tad Friend in the New Yorker as the future of female comedy — also said that she doesn?t read reviews.
?I try not to read [them],? she said at the Joseph Urban Theatre. ?The bad ones really cling. And I?m lucky that I?ve been part of a lot of poorly received movies, so I?m immune. ?Scary Movie 4? was a brilliant movie. I?m shocked it didn?t get nominated.?

I do think five is pretty low, but I?m not sure if I believe her, especially after her description of her ?wild years? - the time right after she divorced her first husband. As for ladies and our ?numbers? - I?m not going to reveal mine, but if you?d like to reveal yours, go ahead. I won?t judge or slut-shame. *quietly waiting to judge and slut-shame*

Here’s Anna Faris at the premiere of What’s Your Number looking great. Especially since she used a dress to scrunch up her tits. And this is why I’d be a terrible designer. The ultimate goal of every one of my pieces would be to see how far I can push a woman’s breasts up. While other designers would be working with new material and introducing new trends, I’d be designing complicated pulley systems to push out a chick’s boobs even more.
