As a group, I would consider all of the white Real Housewives to be de facto Karens. That is their vibe, on the whole, although I?ll consider arguments that certain individual Real Housewives are not at that Karen level. But sometimes Karens don?t know they?re Karens until someone tries to take away their QVC line! So it is with Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Lisa Rinna. To her credit, I suppose, Rinna has been posting some allyship messages to the LGBTQ community, Black Lives Matter and more. And apparently a roaming flock of Karens complained to QVC:
Lisa Rinna wont let anyone stop her from voicing her political views. The designer of the Lisa Rinna Collection, which is sold exclusively at QVC, spoke out on her Instagram Story on Wednesday after critics she described as Karens allegedly complained to the company and attempted to get her booted because of her political beliefs.
I am sad to report it would now seem I cant use my platform to inform or question or say how I feel politically because the Karens have bombarded QVC begging them to fire me and saying they will no longer buy my clothes, Rinna wrote. It is a shame that I must be muzzled in order to support my family but that is just what it is. Remember you know how I feel. Use your voice and vote, she continued.
In another post on her Instagram Story filled with stickers that said QUEER, PROUD TO BE PROUD, BLACK TRANS LIVES MATTERS, and THIS FIGHT AINT OVER, Rinna made it clear that shes proud to voice her opinions. I will be on the right side of history and in the end THAT IS WHAT MATTERS MOST, she wrote.
The internet has started using the name Karen to describe a woman who acts entitled or demanding beyond what is considered appropriate. The New York Times described a Karen as the policewomen of all human behavior in a 2019 piece. While its not exactly clear which of Rinnas social media posts the Karens were upset by, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 56, has posted in support of the Black Lives Matter movement numerous times, Pride Month and the recent Supreme Court decision prohibiting discrimination against LGBTQ people in the workplace.

So Karens actually contacted QVC to demand that they (QVC) get Lisa to shut up about politics on her own social media? WTF? I mean, it would be one thing if Rinna and her team were posting tons of political messages on the business?s social media, but to complain about Rinna using her own Instagram to post messages? And I looked through Rinna?s IG and IG Stories she?s not saying anything controversial whatsoever. Anyway, I would have thought that Lisa Rinna would be the Queen of Karens but it turns out she?s a victim of Karens.

Lisa Rinna recently showed off her skincare products in an Instagram story. Although several products were from the same line, including a $55 lip balm(!) and a $250 calming serum, she said that it wasnt an ad and that it represented her daily routine. Page Six did a breakdown of the prices and its around $2k worth of stuff, which sounds about right for a celebrity. How many times have we heard stories about expensive skincare routines like this? A few.
Lisa Rinna, 55, took to her Instagram Stories to reveal what ?essentials? she uses on a day-to-day basis, and the price tag adds up quickly.
The extensive skin care selection includes several Dr. Barbara Sturm products, such as the brand?s Glow Drops ($145) and Sun Drops ($145), as well as its Hyaluronic Serum ($300), Calming Serum ($250), Enzyme Cleanser ($75), Face Mask ($160), Face Cream ($215) and Lip Balm ($55).
Rinna also uses the High Maintenance Cream ($106), Deep Exfoliating Mask ($66) and Luminous Glow Cream Complexion Perfector ($60) from Dr. Sebagh, whom she called one of her ?favorite doctors in the world.?
Other slightly more accessible products on her bathroom sink include a Nurse Jamie beauty roller ($69), iS Clinical Hydra-Cool Serum ($90), Dr. Lancer Advanced Retinol Treatment ($95) and affordable picks like Mario Badescu Drying Lotion ($17) and Alba unscented body lotion ($9).
Lest anyone think her collection of products is overkill, Rinna assured fans that she uses ?everything? on her vanity and ?it?s not an ad, just my skin and haircare essentials.?

A few months ago, after we started featuring skincare products in the affiliate posts, I bought a bunch of stuff. I spent over $200 if I include products for my son. That is definitely a splurge for me and has to be more of my disposable income than $2k is to Lisa Rinna. So this number isnt surprising to me and doesnt sound particularly extravagant, for her. I also dont regret it at all. I dont need all that and am not going to replace everything, but some things did make a difference (glycolic acid, retinol, this lip mask) and my skin has been a lot softer and smoother since. Maybe my wrinkles are less noticeable too. Plus Im going to write some of it off Im not going to lie. I reviewed it therefore its a legitimate expense! I wonder if celebrities do that too, like if they show their stuff in an Instagram story that counts as a write off since its promoting their brand. Lisa Rinna just got press for it.
Remember when Jamie Lee Curtis said last year that expensive skincare was a scam? I do think that really expensive stuff in most product categories is a scam. When I used to drink wine I thought that too. The cheapest wine is swill, but you can get good wine around $15-$20 a bottle so why spend more than that? Once I had a $60 bottle though and before I knew how much it cost I thought that it tasted amazing. I wonder what difference there is between cream around the $15-$30 price point and cream that costs $200 and up. The $200 cream cant be 10 TIMES better to justify that cost. I wouldnt mind walking around with $2k worth of crap on my face though. Lets be real, Lisa Rinnas face costs a lot more than that.

Back in October of this year, Lisa Rinna finally went in to a plastic surgeon to have his horrible duck lips repaired, after a silicone tragedy befell them many years ago. You see, Lisa used to get hot lead (or whatever) injected into her lips back in the ?80s. And something happened and the procedure became permanent, and Rinna became known as ?that chick with the disgusting lips?. So she had them worked on? only now the cure seems worse than the disease. Prepare yourself, this gets GROSS.
Lisa Rinna is trapped in a plastic surgery nightmare - her surgically altered “trout pout” lips won’t heal!
The former Melrose Place star, 47, recently underwent a procedure to remove silicone from her lips that had been implanted back in 1986. But now her recovery hasn’t gone well - and she’s terrified that if she smiles too much her lips might bust open!
“Her doctors told Lisa it’s going to take months longer for her to heal,” a close pal told The ENQUIRER. “Lisa’s trying not to talk or even smile for long for fear of popping open her lips. She told a pal, ‘I look like I’m mad all the time, but I’m just trying to get my lips to heal properly!’”
While lip injections are popular in Hollywood, the procedure can lead to serious complications, Dr. Anthony Youn, a leading cosmetic surgeon told The ENQUIRER.
“Any time you have anything permanent injected into the lips, you are playing Russian roulette with your face,” Dr. Youn divulged. ?There are serious risks.?
While Rinna was under the examination table, her doctor warned her: ?The tissue is under tension. It?s not coming together.?
According to Dr. Youn, her lips could take up to six months to heal. Her pal said: ?The whole thing has been driving Lisa crazy!?

Her mouth basically looks like (AVERT YOUR EYES IF YOU GROSS OUT EASILY) a ripped, bloody anus. It?s disgusting. And unsanitary. I don?t see how she can even function with her mouth like that - how does she eat? How does she brush her teeth? Ugh.

Despite proclaiming that she loved the end results of her 1986 silicone injection, Lisa Rinna had her top lip surgically reduced on August 26. According to People magazine:
“My lips started to define who I am,” Rinna, 47, [said] about why she decided to undergo the procedure. “That bothered me.”
Public reaction to her plastic surgery confession last year also upset her. After finally admitting that she had silicone injected into her upper lip, Rinna says, “I took a big hit for being honest. It gave everyone online permission to lambaste me. It hurt my feelings.”
[But Rinna] is ready to keep a stiff upper lip about her new upper lip. “It doesn’t matter what other people think,” she says. “I did it for myself.”
People who make a point of saying they’re doing something “for themselves” and that they don’t care what other people think are always full of shit. She just said the reason behind her surgery was that she didn’t like PEOPLE defining her by her lips and she didn’t like PEOPLE making fun of her hemorrhoid mouth. Ergo, it was completely because she cares what other people think. The defense rests, your honor!

She?s definitely known for her penchant for plastic surgery and now Lisa Rinna has once again gone under the knife.
The ?Harry Loves Lisa? starlet decided her upper lip was just too big and back in August she had her doctor surgically reduce the size of her pucker.
Ms. Rinna told press, ?My lips started to define who I am. That bothered me. It doesn?t matter what other people think. I did it for myself.?
Now in her six-month healing stage, complete with a swollen face, Lisa added, ?It?s a work in progress, but I feel fantastic.?

As part of People Magazine’s 50 Most Amazing Bodies issue with super buff Zac Efron on the cover, they have a roundtable interview called “The Body Summit: Stars Tell All.” It features lesser celebrities you may need help remembering like Lisa Rinna, 46, Nikki Blonsky, 21, Dayna Devon, 40, Garcelle Beauvais, 43, and Whitney Port, 25. They’re all talking about body, beauty and weight issues, and Lisa Rinna really dominates the conversation. They discuss dealing with pressure from the media to stay thin and look perfect and it’s common stuff that’s moderately interesting. The best part is when Lisa Rinna complains that she never should have admitted to having her lips done. Lisa came clean about her painful-looking obvious silicone injection lip job about a year ago after sporting those puppies for 23 years. I don’t ever remember seeing her without huge engorged-looking lips. She told People that she wishes she never owned up to the work she had done, though, because people just bashed her for it. (Lisa even got in a Twitter war with someone last month and claimed they were “cyber bullying” her for pointing out that her lips looked bad.)
