Hilary Duff is just 29 years old, which surprises me. That’s not to say she looks older than that, it’s just that she’s been around for so long (and we see her practically every day) that it seems like she must be older. Plus she has a son and is divorced already, no shade that’s just a detail about her, so I assumed she was mid 30s.
Duff is currently dating her personal trainer, Rise Nation’s Jason Walsh, and US has a new story about how they’re talking about moving in together. A source gets oddly specific about the amount of time they spend together and the fact that Jason has a drawer at Hilary’s house. Apparently they were bicoastal together. “[In NY] She would see him four to five nights per week and he had a drawer at her place. [In LA] they?re talking about him moving in with her.? I would say she should play it closer to her chest, but they’re loved up on Instagram, they’re getting papped together and he’s making sure to be in NY when she’s filming so it’s probably serious.
People has an interview with Duff promoting her role as a spokesperson for Visine. They ask her about her style tips and she admits she can’t do laundry and often ruins her outfits.
What?s something we don?t know about your style?
I?m really bad at laundry actually. I mean, I make sure I don?t put in anything that needs to go to the dry cleaners in there, but yeah, I kinda just put it all in at once. And then I end up ruining things. But when I?m looking at it I?m like that?s not gonna do anything to that and then I?m like, ?No! How did this happen?? But I can do dishes all day long.
Are you a big online shopper?
I used to be [a] strictly online [shopper] ?cause I live in L.A. and shopping at a boutique is like the worst. I don?t want to drive somewhere and then be there for like an hour or an hour and a half. It?s just the worst. I rather it [be] online at night, get on, have it delivered to my house like Christmas. It?s so much more exciting.
But being a New Yorker, I feel like I spend so much more money. I was walking down the street this weekend and I walked by Intermix and I literally was like, don?t look, don?t look, don?t look.

I’ve never lived in LA or the West Coast so I don’t know about boutique shopping being a pain but when I lived in Connecticut, near New York City, I used to get in so much trouble at Lord and Taylor. I loved it at Lord and Taylor. Now I do thrift shopping and get some amazing finds and I love online shopping, particularly the daily sales sites like RueLala.
In terms of what she’s saying about doing her own laundry, how can someone who is 29 years old not be able to do laundry without ruining clothes? It’s really simple, you separate the darks and light colors and wash the dark colors in cold water. I’ve been doing my own laundry since I was a kid though and I suspect Duff only does it when her domestic assistant is off for the day. Plus she mostly wears jeans and casual clothes, judging from the vast archive of her daily looks available online. You just wash those on cold, it’s not difficult.
The jeans Hilary are wearing cost $328, according to The Daily Mail. She probably got them comped but still, they need to be washed on cold if she wants to preserve their exact level of distress.

Hilary Duff is having a pretty good year. She has a hit on her hands with her new show, TV Land’s Younger, she’s dating fitness trainer Jason Walsh and is collaborating with Stella Artois for Host One to Remember. The idea of Host One to Remember according to SA vice president Harry Lewis is, “to inspire as many consumers as possible to leave their own mark by hosting memorable events.” While promoting HOtR, Hilary appeared on Today Monday and spoke about motherhood and how she is really comfortable with her body, whether it’s perfect or not.
As long as she’s healthy, she’s happy! Summer may be right around the corner, but Hilary Duff isn’t obsessing over her bikini body.
“I don’t care to look absolutely perfect in a bathing suit,” the Younger actress, 28, told Today on Monday, June 27. “I’m a normal girl. I’m strong. I’m fit. I feel good about myself after I’ve had a baby.”
For the Lizzie McGuire alum, who shares 4-year-old son Luca with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie, it’s all about perspective.
“I go through ups and downs, being like, ‘Damn, I’m fit right now’ and ‘OK, I’m letting things slide a little’ and I’m totally fine with that,” she said.
To emphasize her point, the “Sparks” singer joked that she does 1,000 crunches a day before almost immediately laughing off the idea as ludicrous. “Never in my life!” she said.

Hilary says she keeps fit by running after Luca, which does burn many calories but so does dating a personal trainer with his own studio. Whatever her secret is, Hilary looks great and sounds happy. I agree that the point should not be as much about fitting into a bikini but being okay when I don?t look great in it. I have days that I feel fit and some days when I see every roll and jiggle. Whereas I used to cry into a carton of ice cream before, now I shrug and promise to skip the Chex Snack Mix the next day. Or not, because I love Chex Snack Mix and I can always wear a coverup.
Hilary also said that when she?s with Luca, “The easiest way for me to really connect with him when I’ve had a crazy week is to unplug from all my devices.” Man, this is so important and really hard to do. I was rewarded recently, however, when my Female Progeny told me I am more fun to talk to now that my phone gets ?grounded? at 5pm.

Turns out both have proven to be the best thing to happen to Hilary. Not only did her TV series Younger just get renewed for a 4th season before season 3 even aired, but she seems to have found romance with her personal trainer, Rise Nation?s Jason Walsh.

The actress and her fitness guru, who have been seen enjoying each others’ company for some time now, are “casually dating,” a source tells E! News. The casually clad couple were most recently spotted stepping out together in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood earlier today.
The pair have been spending a lot of time with each other in recent months, both in the gym and out at various restaurants to enjoy some fine dining, and it seems this budding romance began as a friendship between the two. “They weren’t all over each other. He’s her trainer and they hang out,” a source previously told E! News. “They hang out and they are friends.”
Duff and Walsh were also recently spotted on a dinner date at pizzeria il Fico in Los Angeles. The duo enjoyed some slices while watching Kobe Bryant’s last basketball game in the NBA.
“It was just the two of them, but it was a busy night, so the restaurant was packed and they were watching the game like everyone else,” an insider tells E! News. “They looked like they were having fun, because the game was crazy, but I didn’t notice them acting affectionate or anything. They were just watching and cheering with everybody in the restaurant.”

A girlfriend of mine who tried Rise Nation described it as ?combining your love of clubbing and hiking.? It is very popular in LA and from everything I?ve heard it?s really fun and really tough. I just workout differently; I run alone on the street while it’s still dark in the morning ? often one or more items I am wearing are inside out. However, most people agree that Jason is a great trainer and his methods work because he looks out for your well-being as much as your progress. Hilary looks great so if she is anything to go by, he?s amazing. The important part for me is that Hilary looks happy and I like the emphasis that this is casual and they are just enjoying each other for the time being. Hilary mentioned she doesn?t need to get married again. Maybe she learned that it should be more about enjoying the relationship than working so hard to make it last.

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie?s divorce was finalized this week. It was a surprisingly long process ? two years! ? perhaps because they tried to give their marriage another shot after they split up the first time. Comrie was a professional athlete with the NHL, and he comes from an incredibly wealthy family. So imagine my surprise when I read that Hilary actually had to pay Comrie money in the divorce!
Hilary Duff is now a single woman, and former NHL star Mike Comrie’s a single guy, because their divorce is now final. According to new legal docs making the divorce official, Hilary must pay Mike $2,408,786 to settle their financial split. She gets to keep their Bev Hills mansion and other property as well.
Hilary and Mike get joint custody of their 3-year-old son Luca. They split the child-rearing costs and neither gets spousal support. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Hilary gets to keep her interest in a Malibu mobile home — it’s a very ritzy thing among the rich. He gets to keep his 2014 Bentley coupe, a 2013 Mercedes G-Class SUV and a bunch of jewelry.

Comrie?s father, Bill Comrie, founded a Canadian retail company and the family is worth ?hundreds of millions of dollars.? Which goes a long way towards explaining why Mike Comrie always came across like such an entitled douchebag. But Us Weekly explained that Duff had to pay off Comrie because A) they had a valid pre-nup and B) because Comrie is ?letting? her keep the Beverly Hills mansion. Meaning, they co-owned the mansion and she?s buying him out of the property.
Also: Us Weekly says neither spouse will receive spousal support from the other. Yeah? I get that the pre-nup was valid, but who wrote the pre-nup? Is it the same lawyer who convinced Hilary to pay out to Mike? Because I feel like she could use some better representation. I?m sure Duff has money saved and some money coming in (she?s worth somewhere in the ballpark of $20 million, allegedly), but it seems like her interests were not being properly represented. Please tell me Comrie is at least paying some child support?
