There was a moment, when Britney Spears first came out on stage at opening of the VMAs where it felt like real nostalgia, like ?Hey, remember when Britney Spears used to own this place? Good times.? Instead, what?s notable these days is when Britney shows up and does the bare minimum. I?ll admit it, when I just saw her on stage, I thought she looked pretty good and she seemed ?sharper? than usual. But these photos aren?t all that great. She looks too bronzed, too showgirl-y, too? something.
Britney?s dress is Labourjoisie and it?s too small. I think someone selected this for her as a visual throwback to her infamous nude jumpsuit at the VMAs 15 years ago. Think about that. It?s been 15 years since that moment.
Ciara in Alexandre Vauthier. I?m not into this look AT ALL. Ciara is so pretty and she has a great figure. I don?t get why she wore this or styled herself this way. It?s not flattering at all.
Emily Ratajkowski in Altuzarra. You know how Emily is pretty much famous for having a great figure and being comfortable with showing a lot of skin? How is it that at the VMAs ? where famewhores go to be hot messes ? that Emily was one of the few ladies covered up and looking pretty modest? I like her look here and I think the boots are killer.

Here are some photos from last night?s Teen Choice Awards in LA. You can tell that it?s a kid-oriented awards show because I have no idea who half the people are, and the other half? well, I know their names but I?m not sure why they?re famous. You can see the full list of Teen Choice winners here ? it?s a list of people who mostly didn?t bother showing up.
Someone who did show up? Ms. Britney Spears. She was given the Candie?s Choice Style Icon and she brought her sons Jayden and Sean to the show. She also brought her niece Lexie. Brit-Brit wore this Mikael D which is not really flattering or all that cute, but it?s good to see her in something sort of different. Britney also rocked some ombre hair/extensions. There were rumors last week that Britney has finally ?clicked? during her Las Vegas show and she?s actually showing some glimpses of the old ?I?m A Slave 4 U? Brit-Brit ? go here to see some Vines and such. While on the red carpet for the Teen Choice Awards, Britney chatted with E! News about whether she would consider signing a new deal in Vegas, since her current residency is done in October. Britney said: ?I’m not really sure. I haven’t made up my mind. I really love doing the show. It’s a lot, a lot of fun but I’m kind of torn right now. I don’t really know what I want to do.”
More photos from the Teen Choice Awards? Keke Palmer in Giulietta. I love Keke but I didn?t even recognize her with these bangs! She looks so grown-up all of a sudden.
Lea Michele in Monique Lhuillier. Yikes. It could have been cute if she had done the dress with blue shoes instead of red and maybe done a ponytail?
Lucy Hale in Julien Macdonald. I?m pretty sure 20 other starlets have worn this dress or variations on this dress. Hale is? kind of forgettable.
Sarah Hyland in Christian Siriano ? this is maybe my favorite outfit from the show. She looks young, fresh and cute. When she slipped on stage, she yelled ?Are you f?king kidding me?? Which is kind of funny.
I feel like Nina Dobrev in this Zuhair Murad is much too serious for the venue. Like, she?s all ?take me seriously, people!? and this just isn?t the awards show for that vibe.
Gina Rodriguez is absolutely adorable. Her dress is Alberta Ferretti and her hair is amazing. Does this young lady have a beauty contract yet? She could totally sell me some shampoo.

I?ve long been critical of Britney Spears? conservatorship. Not so much the conservatorship itself ? I think Brit?s father Jamie Spears does a decent enough job managing Britney Inc. ? but with the way the conservatorship is handled in the context of Britney?s romantic and financial life, and with the way the media treats the conservatorship. Like, I?m fine saying that Britney needs the structure of the conservatorship. I think it?s good for her and having Jamie Spears manage her life provides the structure she desperately needs. But can we ? as a group ? understand that because Britney needs the conservatorship, that means she?s not legally capable of deciding who to marry (even if her would-be husband is named ?co-conservator?)? She?s not even allowed full custody of her children. The media covers the conservatorship like it?s just about Britney?s business and it?s NOT. At all. Jamie Spears has control over every aspect of Britney?s life, from how often she sees her children to choosing her boyfriends, to what she eats and where she goes.
In any case, TMZ reports that Jamie Spears and Britney have come to terms with the fact that the conservatorship is probably going to last for the rest of Britney?s life. Sigh?
Britney Spears has been under a remarkably successful conservatorship for 7 1/2 years, and sources familiar with the situation tell us it could last a lifetime. We’re told there are no plans to end the conservatorship, even in the long term, and no one involved is complaining. As TMZ and every other media outlet reported, Britney was so bad off at the end of 2007 her family was in fear she would die.
After she was taken to the hospital on a psych hold, her dad, Jamie Spears, went to court and a conservatorship was established in January 2008. There are actually 2 conservatorships … one for the person, and one for finances. Fact is … the conservatorships have worked remarkably well. Britney — who at her worst was on the verge of losing permanent custody of her kids — is now by any standard a great parent. Jamie and Britney’s doctors have stabilized her to the point she can successfully work and maintain a personal life.
As for the financial conservatorship, it has been a huge success. Last year alone the conservatorship raked in $14 million, and that’s only a portion of Britney’s financial machine. As one source said, before the conservatorship her finances were an absolute mess, and the ship has been fully righted.
We’re told Britney — who has a team of lawyers and doctors, along with Jamie, managing the conservatorship — has “substantial day-to-day freedom” to make her own decisions. Short story … if the conservatorship were to end, there would be significant risk she could backslide. The plan is to continue the conservatorship indefinitely … because it works.

As I said, I agree that the conservatorship has been a good thing. But Jamie still has so much legal control over everything in Britney?s life. I believe that without that structure, Britney would backslide and be in bad shape. So? the conservatorship should go on indefinitely, for sure. So can we all agree that we shouldn?t pretend that Britney is making all of these decisions for herself? It?s very much like she?s still a child and she?s just doing whatever her daddy tells her.

No stranger to the red carpet scene, Britney Spears got plenty of attention as she arrived at the Microsoft Theater for the 2015 ESPY Awards on Wednesday night (July 15) in Los Angeles.
The ?Baby One More Time? singer turned heads in her silver sequined David Zanine ensemble teamed with black heels by Le Silla and her trademark doe-eyed smile.
Britney recently revealed her secret to staying in such great shape- ?Dancing is a great cardio workout. Tough and fun at the same time. I like my workouts to be effective in a short amount of time. I start with 20 minutes of intense cardio - usually running - move on to light free weights, body-weight exercises such as push-ups, squats, and sit-ups, then finish it off with a stretch.?

Britney Spears came out to the ESPYs, y?all! This was Brit-Brit?s first red carpet since she split with Charlie Ebersol. To her credit, Britney seems to be taking the breakup in stride. She deleted all of the photos of Charlie from her social media, she went home to Louisiana for some rest and relaxation and who knows? She might have even tried to find a boyfriend at the ESPYs. Britney?s dress is by Davidson Zanine. It?s very ice-skater-chic.
I?ve seen so many sites talking about how Halle Berry looked amazing at the ESPYs. Really? Don?t get me wrong, she?s a beautiful woman, but I remember when she used to own the red carpet with show-stopping looks. This minidress did not impress me. It looks like? something Britney Spears would wear?
Give the people what they want? and what they want is MOAR GRONK.

Here?s Rhonda Rousey in a great cocktail dress. I watched her interview on HBO Sports a month ago and I was SO impressed with her. She?s well-spoken, compassionate and very, very fan-friendly. She?s also ambitious and a major ass-kicker. Love her!

Another one bites the dust! Britney Spears and Charlie Ebersol have broken up after eight months together. Now that they?re over, can I admit that I always though Charlie looked like a budget version of Rob McElhenney? It?s true. Anyway, eight months is actually kind of short in Britney?s world. I think that when a dude signs on to Britney, Inc. as the ?official boyfriend,? the contract is usually for a year to start. But Charlie was supposed to be different/better, wasn?t he? He had his own life, his own career, his own stuff going on. Of course Papa Spears still had to monitor the relationship, but this one did seem better. And now it?s done.
Britney?s single, one more time. Britney Spears and her boyfriend of eight months, Charlie Ebersol, have called it quits, Us Weekly exclusively confirms. The pair, who started dating in October 2014, last attended a public event together at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards in mid-May.
Spears, 33, deleted all photos of her ex from her Instagram account, though many of her Twitter pics remain. For Valentine?s Day, the son of Saturday Night Live co-creator Dick Ebersol and actress Susan Saint James gifted his former love with a massive cake that read ?Charlie [hearts] Britney,? and Spears posted it on Twitter, writing, ?Cake war over! Charlie wins!!!! Happy Valentine?s Day everyone.?

Us Weekly was the first to report the breakup, but People Magazine followed quickly, with a ?source close to Ebersol? confirming the split. Much like Charlize Theron and Sean Penn, this breakup seems suspiciously sudden. Britney is forever in love with love, the idea of love and the dream of getting remarried and possibly having another baby, I guess. She goes into every relationship thinking that they?ll get married, and she said as much about Charlie a few months ago.

Here are some fashion photos from last night?s Billboard Music Awards ? you can see the list of winners here. Every year, it just seems like fewer people really care? Maybe that?s because Billboard kind of chose the worst possible night to air their awards show. Well, I think it?s the worst because I?m an adult. I?m sure the kids thought it was cool and those kids weren?t interested in Game of Thrones or Mad Men.
So, let?s talk fashion. Britney Spears in Yousef Al-Jasmi. It?s a pretty boring dress, but she looks fine. Britney posed with Iggy Azalea on the red carpet (they performed together) and then Britney posed with her boyfriend Charlie Ebersol.
Jennifer Lopez wore this Charbel Zoe dress that looks like dozens of Zuhair Murad and Elie Saab dresses that J.Lo has worn before. What I?m saying is that I?m pretty tired of this look and J.Lo needs to mix it up!
Taraji P. Henson in Alexandre Vauthier Couture. She?s so sexy! I?m not in love with this dress, but it?s an okay choice for a fun music awards show. I like the glimpse of her tattoo as well.
Laverne Cox in Marc Bouwer. I like a cute minidress and this is pretty cute. I think the cut on the shoulders makes her look wider than she really is though.
I?m sure it took all the king?s horses and all the king?s men to get Mariah Carey into this revealing Tom Ford mullet dress. Poor Mariah? she just canceled some Vegas shows because she has ?bronchitis.? You can?t blame Mariah for that ? blame the poor bastards in Las Vegas who thought it would be a good idea to give Mariah a residency.
I actually think Olivia Culpo is incredibly pretty, and I love that Nick Jonas is in a serious relationship with her. Olivia wore an Elie Saab playsuit, basically. Only it was fancy and sparkly. It?s sort of a perfect choice for the girlfriend of one of the Billboard artists.

Having won multiple awards for her Piece of Me Las Vegas residency, Britney Spears has her live performance down to a science.
However, on Wednesday night (April 29) the ?Toxic? songstress ended up taking a wrong step and sprained her ankle while dancing around in a jeweled leotard, tights and high heels.
And though Britney ended up painfully wobbling around to find a seat on the stage, it sounds like she?s already on the mend. After the gig she tweeted, "Thank you for all of the sweet wishes! Had a little scare on stage tonight with my ankle but I'm ok!"
