Don?t hate me, but I thought Hailey Bieber was one of the best-dressed of the Oscar Party Girls. This black lace number is Versace and it looks somewhat comfortable and somewhat obvious too. I have to say? I like Hailey?s hustle since marrying Justin Bieber and I like that she?s parlaying the marriage into magazine editorials and appearances at Oscar parties. She looks like what she is: a young woman with hustle. No pretension.
Tessa Thompson in Versace. I like the idea of this more than the execution I know what they were going for, something like ?Grecian warrior princess but modern? and if I may, I think it?s the mint-green color that?s ruining it.

In October, Selena Gomez released two new songs, both of which were very obviously about her tortured on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber. Selena even confirmed as much without saying Justin?s name in interviews, and she said that she hopes her ex listens to the music because it?s about him. A lot of Selena?s fans were like ?she has every right to tell her side of things? and while I agree with that, I also think it?s somewhat inappropriate to still devote so much time, energy and music to an ex-boyfriend who truly moved on and married someone else. Justin married Hailey Baldwin last year and Hailey also appeared to have some thoughts about Selenassongs about Justin, although Hailey denied she was being shady. The point, I suppose, is that Selena is unsubtly subtweeting Justin and then Hailey is unsubtly subtweeting Selena. Toddler drama, basically. But Hailey thinks everything is just about toxic online fandoms. To be fair, toxic online fandoms are like 70% of this?
Hailey Bieber has spoken out to minimise the rumours ?fake drama? between her and Selena Gomez, after years of the women being pitted against each other. Speaking about their rumoured feud this week, the 22-year-old told British Vogue: ?I think social media is a breeding ground for toxicity and people creating false drama between women and trying to put women up against each other and create these narratives that are justtoxic. I think that has to change and that has to stop.?
The newlywed ? who married the ?Sorry? singer in September ? continued, without mentioning Gomez specifically, adding: ?I think there needs to be more people with platforms coming together and saying to each other. Lets kill the conversation, lets kill the fake drama, lets squash all these things, lets move on from stuff. Lets not give people a reason to fuel fire and create drama and being rude to each other.?

On the face of it, nothing Hailey says is wrong the fandoms are toxic and the tabloid media loves pitting Selena and Hailey against each other and creating all of this ?drama.? The reality is that everyone involved loves the drama too. Selena is really making music about a guy who treated her badly and moved on and married someone else. Hailey is one of those people who posts-and-deletes shady sh-t on social media and then plays innocent. How can the fandoms let go of the drama if everyone involved thrives on the drama?
Also: at some point, we just have to worry about Justin Bieber. He?s supposed to be taking time off to work on himself and his mental health. He?s lost an alarming amount of weight and? wow, he just looks unhealthy.

I grew up in a moderately-sized Southern community and I can remember being a little girl and how Halloween was a big, fun deal. Like, there were school-sponsored hay rides and they would turn the school?s gym into a ?scare house? and everything was about witches and blood and gore. And then it shifted in my lifetime. The churches got more involved. Suddenly, Halloween wasn?t supposed to be ?scary,? and maybe it shouldn?t be celebrated at all. Suddenly, churches would sponsor other activities wholesome activities on Halloween night. And schools were no longer supposed to support scaring children. To this day, there?s a lot of conversation in the Southern Baptist and Evangelical communities as to whether good Christian kids should be allowed to go Full Pagan for Halloween.
Well, Hailey Baldwin isn?t part of that conversation. Hailey belongs to that cult-like Hillsong Church, and one of Hillsong?s pastors wrote a screed about how he celebrates Halloween and Hailey agreed with him. She also defended herself against claims that she?s a ?fake Christian? for dressing up for Halloween.

On Wednesday night, the model ? who married Justin Bieber (again!) during their second wedding ceremony last month ? reposted a message to her Instagram Story written by a fellow Hillsong Church member, New York City-based pastor Nathan Finochio, which justifies the choice to celebrate Halloween as a Christian despite criticism from some who see it as a pagan practice and un-Christian due to the popular glorification of things like witchcraft and the devil. Finochio?s explanation was written in response to a question submitted on Instagram which asked him if Halloween was a ?yes or no.?
?I?m a Christian. Do you have any idea what that means historically? It means I redefine everything in culture,? he wrote, as captured in screenshots by BuzzFeed News. ?Pagan Feast of Winter Solstice? Oh that?s now JESUS BIRTHDAY. Pagan Feast of Spring Planting? Oh that?s now EASTER WEEKEND. Pagan Celtic Festival involving dressing up and warding off evil spirits? Oh now it?s All Saints Day and we celebrate the VICTORIOUS CHURCH THAT HAS OVERCOME THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB!!! CANDY PLEASE!!!?
?I?m not afraid of the world,? he continued. ?I?m not afraid of any devil or demon or incantation. They are terrified of me. Halloween is now MY HOLIDAY and I am claiming all candy for the glory of God and the celebration of the Saints. What now? I?ll dress up however I like! My favorite characters, pop culture stuff, whatever. It?s my party and you?re invited. I?m alive today and a Saint tomorrow. Give me candy.?
When Baldwin, 22, reposted the message to her story, she tagged Finochio?s account and added the words, ?YASSS.?
Last week, Baldwin ? who grew up as an evangelical Christian ? was met with some backlash after asking her followers for Halloween costume ideas on an Instagram Q&A posted to her story. Multiple outlets, including BuzzFeed News and Fox News, report that when one follower asked her, ?Aren?t u a Christian?? Baldwin responded by simply writing, ?Yes. I still dress up for Halloween.? When another called her a ?FAKE CHRISTIAN,? Baldwin responded by writing ?our kids are gonna celebrate too? in reference to her and Bieber?s future children.

That pastor sounds like a nutjob, but the essence of what he says is true, and I never really understood why other church folks don?t see it the same way the religious holidays they celebrate are all based on pagan holidays anyway, and those holidays are what you make them. Anyway, I plan on celebrating Halloween as I always do: by turning off my lights and watching a movie. I used to get candy for the neighborhood kids but they aren?t allowed to trick-or-treat anymore. They?re too busy at church.

There were many ways to interpret this year?s Met Gala?s theme ?Camp? and I guess I was surprised by how many women just went for ?Barbie gear.? Hailey Baldwin was one of those Barbies, only I would argue that Hailey was one of the BEST! From the high, bleached-blonde ponytail to the too-dark fake tan to the exposed thong of her dress, everything about Hailey?s look was so spectacularly dated and tacky and PERFECT. Hailey worked with Alexander Wang on this look and I?m shocked to say that she utterly nailed it.
Someone else who nailed it? Elle Fanning in this delightful Miu Miu look. You could tell that she was having fun with it, and she looks like a drag queen?s favorite doll. Her nails! Her orange tan! Her pants! I love it all and she looked like she was having so much fun!
Emma Roberts tried to go for Big Barbie vibes, I think, but this Giambattista Valli is more like? fairy queen/ruffled extravaganza. I mean, it?s big and tacky, but I actually think Emma?s styling let her down? Big ruffles could be super-campy, but the styling edged it more towards ?ethereal fairy queen? drag. Which is camp-adjacent but not really camp?

Hailey Baldwin is in Paris for fashion week, and these are some photos of her out and about and attending events from the past few days. Before she married Justin Bieber, I never considered Hailey to be much of an in-demand model. She got a few magazine covers and she worked some fashion week runways, but let?s be real: marrying Justin was the best thing that ever happened to her modeling career. Within a matter of months, Hailey had new endorsements, beauty contracts and job offers than ever before. I don?t blame her for taking the work either, or from profiting from her connection to Justin now. I want her to get paid. I want her to get work. I think it?s a good thing for her, to have something other than Justin to anchor her.
Anyway, I have to say? I think Hailey looks really beautiful in these photos. I always thought she was kind of a nothingburger as a model, but being in an ill-advised marriage suits her. I especially like her black leather ensemble, she really pulls it off. Meanwhile, I don?t think that Justin made the trip to Paris with Hailey, but I could be wrong. I think it?s just a work trip for her and Justin is possibly home in LA. Could Justin be getting up to something?

At this point, I truly am open to any and all conspiracies involving Justin Bieber, especially regarding his marriage to Hailey Baldwin (now Hailey Bieber). It was definitely one of the weirder stories of 2018, and it will probably get even weirder in 2019. Hailey and Justin The Biebers are dividing their time between California, New York and Canada. Reportedly, Justin really wants to spend more time in Canada, taking a break from music and LA and that whole world. I?ve wondered if Hailey would get pregnant right away? and Us Weekly says she probably will.
Babies are definitely on the brain for Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber. ?They?re both super family-oriented and are excited about the next chapter of their lives together,? a source says in the new issue of Us Weekly. ?Hailey can?t wait to be a mom.?
The model, 22, has even opened up about her excitement of starting a family with the singer, 24. ?I love kids,? she said in the December issue of Vogue Arabia, noting, ?I would say now that?s a closer reality.? Personally, I?m just thinking about Hailey?s life and career long-term. Unquestionably, Justin has been GREAT for her career. Hailey went from ?a nepotism model no one cared about? to one of the most talked-about ?models? in the world. She?s booked tons of jobs in the last six months of 2018. She has endorsements and beauty contracts and she?s getting to walk the best runways of every fashion week. That would obviously change once she got pregnant, but would that change be the worst? If hooking up with Bieber helped her career, it would follow that having a Bieber Baby would help too? But long-term, yeah, she would be tied to Justin FOREVER.

It?s looking more and more like HAILEY and Justin BIEBER considered their low-key civil wedding ceremony at the New York courthouse to be the real thing. Initially, they claimed that while they were technically married at the courthouse, they wouldn?t consider themselves truly married until they did it in a church, or perhaps in some Canadian woods. Last month, Hailey trademarked her married name, and now she?s making the whole thing Instagram-official by changing her official name to Hailey Bieber or Hailey Rhode Bieber:

Last month, there was some back-and-forth about Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin and whether they had really gotten married. TMZ said they just got their marriage license, but People Magazine said they really did get married quietly at a New York courthouse. Well, it looks like People was right. TMZ confirmed it yesterday: Bieber and Baldwin got married? without a prenup.
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin got married TMZ has learned and for some reason, they chose to lie about it. Justin and Hailey actually tied the knot last month in NYC the same day they got their marriage license at the courthouse. They had a preacher on hand Jeffrey Quinn, a member of the faculty at Nyack College near the courthouse. The witness was Josh Mehl, a friend of Justins who attends Churchome in Los Angeles. Fact is People mag got it right.
As we reported, Justin and Hailey both reached out to lawyers for a prenup, but now the plot thickens. Were told they reached out the very same day they got hitched, but there was no way to get a prenup drafted and signed that quickly. So, Justin and Hailey got married without a prenup and theres been no movement to have one drafted now. Its called a postnup same as a prenup but signed after the marriage. One source said Justin is so in love he doesnt see the need for one. Hows this for a need Justins net worth is estimated at $250 million and Hailey is reportedly worth a couple of mil.

TMZ has a follow-up story this morning about how Hailey and Bieber ?dont think theyll truly be until they proclaim it under the eyes of God,? as in they don?t consider themselves married until they?re in a church, saying vows. A lot of people are like that many people don?t believe they?re truly married until it?s in a church. But as TMZ asks: why even do the civil ceremony in the courthouse? I don?t know. And why do it without a prenup? Again, I don?t know. I would have thought that Bieber?s manager and his team would have shut that down quickly. But as I?ve said before, Hailey doesn?t strike me as someone looking to take Bieber to the cleaners anyway. She?s getting more work than ever now that she?s with him.

Something I keep thinking about a lot: when I was a teenager, it seemed so ?grown up? and quite normal to hear about celebrities getting engaged or married in their early 20s. I thought those celebrities were so cool. But now that I?m way past my 20s, I want to yell at these dumb kids for being so dumb. I bring this up because of Justin Bieber, 24, and Hailey Baldwin, 21, and their whirlwind engagement. Reportedly, Justin had been telling everyone who would listen mostly TMZ that the next thing on his agenda was the wedding. I truly expected a Bieber-Baldwin wedding in, like, early September. But apparently that?s not going to happen.
Justin Bieber popped the question to Hailey Baldwin a nanosecond after getting back together in June, but weve learned theyre not rushing to the altar not by a long shot. Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ Justin and Hailey are waiting until sometime next year to tie the knot. Were told its not that theyre unsure not unlike Miley and Liam, were told they feel theyve made the commitment, and thats the most important thing.
Were also told its a mistake to view their engagement as jumping the gun. As one solid source told us, Justins been in love with her for a long time, so this didnt just come from out of the blue. Were told there were a number of times times the public doesnt know about when Justin and Hailey got back together. The upshot everyone thought Selena Gomez was the woman he always wanted, but even when he was with Selena Hailey was on his brain.
