Here is Ariana Grande performing at the NBA All-Star Game halftime show this weekend.
A few places on the ‘net have chided Grande’s dry, almost stiff dancing style, but when you take into consideration that (it looks like) she’s not lip synching, and stayed in almost perfect tune the whole time, it’s hard to not be impressed.

I was half expecting her to perform some of her smash hits like ?Break Free? or ?Problem?, but Ariana Grande switched things up a bit and gave a powerful and touching performance of ?Just A Little Bit Of You Heart?.

She?s experienced a meteoric rise to fame, and last night (February 8) Ariana Grande kicked off her very first performance on the 57th Annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center.
The ?Problem? songstress decided on a slow and intimate rendition of her hit song ?Just a Little Bit Of Your Heart,? backed up by a grand piano and several stringed instruments, and everything went tremendously well.
Grande wore her hair in a sky-high ponytail as she belted out her emotional lyrics, which just so happen to be co-written by One Direction?s Harry Styles. She?ll also make an appearance at the forthcoming ?Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life- An All-Star Grammy Salute.?

It feels like Ariana Grande?s rise and fall happened pretty quickly, like within the span of about four months. Suddenly she was everywhere and the #1 pop diva, and then the backlash was swift and merciless. I?m not saying Grande isn?t still popular ? I hear her songs on the radio all the time, and I?m sure she has a large ride-or-die fanbase. But it feels like she?s not the young hot It Girl of the Moment these days, and like her bad attitude has pissed off enough people. Good.
Ariana arrived at the Grammys with her boyfriend, Big Sean. I think Big Sean and Ariana are going to end messily and probably sooner rather than later, and when it happens it will be so, so funny. But for now, they are loved up, but only when Ariana gets to show her ?good side? to the cameras. Ryan Seacrest dared to put her ?bad? right side on E! and she almost cried. Her dress is Versace ? I like it more than what she usually wears, but the silver fabric seems like it was tacked on at the last minute.
For some reason, Paris Hilton was there. I guess it?s because she?s a super-successful DJ, you guys. She wore a too-tight Yousef-Al-Jasmi gown which made her girls look like they were suffocating.
And here?s Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett. It?s funny how no one really gives a crap about Gaga now. I wasn?t into their performance last night either. Her gown is Brendan Maxwell, jewels by Lorraine Schwartz. Not the worst, far from the best.

True story: I kept seeing the headline ?Ariana Grande is ?repulsed? by Santa? and I thought to myself, ?That?s probably because she?s literally the most sardonic person in the world.? And guess what? She literally uses the word ?sardonic? as an explanation for why she?s repulsed by Santa. For real. Literally. Ariana loves the word ?sardonic.? It?s the word she learned in 2014. Anyway, Ariana has a Christmas song called ?Santa Tell Me? ? you can see the video here. Like with most of Ariana?s songs, the lyrics are muddled because chica cannot enunciate to save her life. Maybe that should be her 2015 word: ?enunciate.? To hear Ariana tell it, her silly Christmas song is not a happy, light Christmas pop song though. No, it is dark, grim and (YES) sardonic.
Ariana Grande revealed she is ?repulsed? by Santa Claus. The ?Santa Tell Me? singer opened up about her hit holiday song on Friday and explained that the Christmas tune, in which she asks Santa for help with her love life, is actually ?depressing.?
Grande noted that she isn?t a fan of old St. Nick because of all the past heartbreak and relationship angst she associates with the holidays. ?I?m repulsed by Santa,? she told the Daily Star. ?My song may sound cheerful but its really quite sardonic and depressing. I?m like saying, ?Santa what is your deal bro?’?
The pop star continued, ?I?ve had my heart broken multiple times around this time of year. I feel although it?s one of the most cheerful times of the year, I see tons of heartbreak and they make movies about it. It?s like a (Wham!) Last Christmas vibe.?

She?s trying too hard to sound like this deep, affected artist. Girl, you?re a straight-up pop artist! Your music has no ?edge.? Your music is not deep. And that?s why you?re a pop star. As for being ?repulsed? by Santa? eh. Whatever.

Clad in a sexy black getup, the ?Problem? singer put on quite a show and had audience members tweeting up a storm with the #Y100JingleBall hashtag following her set.

As it turns out, Ariana is a huge lover of the holiday season because it gives her a little extra time to bond with her loved ones. She explained, "I do get a little bit of time off to be with my family, which I'm definitely looking forward to. Just watching my Nonna cook is always fascinating. I can't eat any of the things that she prepares anymore because I'm vegan. But I love being in the kitchen just watching her be her, in her element. It's so beautiful."

Ariana told the star-studded crowd, "I want to share this honor with two women who inspired me ? not you, Frankie, I'm sorry. My mama and my nonna.?
