Kate Upton covers the February issue of V magazine. She’s styled as Bridget Bardot, and she mostly pulls it off. The mag’s website has some weird interactive slider where viewers can pretend to “undress” Kate with an overlay image. In reality, all of the hormonal dudes who run to the V home page in hopes of seeing a fully undressed Kate will be dismayed to find they’re only seeing her in lingerie. Silly rabbits.
The interview excerpts release so far aren’t earth shattering, but they will do. I like how Kate’s talking back to that rude Victoria’s Secret rep who called her a “page 3 girl” and “a footballer’s wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy.” Let’s do this:
On getting dissed by a VS rep: “I had just gotten my cover of Sports Illustrated that day. I wasn’t used to that kind of media swirl. I had never met her, so it really came out of nowhere.” Kate says the snarky comments were her “introduction to being in the spotlight and having people you’ve never met have an opinion of you.”
On acting: She admits being “completely out of her league” starring alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann in The Other Woman. “I make no bones about it,” she adds, “I just listened and paid attention.”
Her nickname for her rack “The ladies! Everyone brings them up, so I have to have something to call them.”
Why doesn’t she keep her clothes on? “Because I don’t want to!”

Kate’s obviously having fun with some really lame questions from the journo. We all know that she’s primarily a swimsuit model, so of course she doesn’t keep her clothes on. I think a certain magazine is trying to stir up some controversy where there is none. Kate is a cute, bubbly blonde who is willing to indulge male and female fantasies alike with her various shoots. Men love her, and (most) ladies don’t find her to be threatening. She’s also smart enough to tell us all she’s not a toy. Kate’s here to do her job, plain and simple.

Working on the weekend, Kate Upton headed to the beach for a photoshoot in Malibu, California on Saturday (November 23).
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl wore a plaid button-down shirt that exposed her cleavage and shoulders with black daisy dukes before changing into a green jacket and white shorts to pose with a horse.
Posting a behind-the-scenes shot that gives a glimpse of her atop the horse, the 21-year-old model tweeted, "Fun day on set!"
In more personal news, rumors are swirling that Kate and boyfriend Maksim Chmerkovskiy have hit a rough patch and may have called it quits.

Displaying that sexy smile that captivates millions, the 21-year-old blondie wore a white sweater with patterned black sequins, tight skinnies and black velvet boots.
The Sports Illustrated cover girl also may be going through some heartbreak, as reports and rumors fly about her split from "Dancing With The Stars" boyfriend Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
The couple has not been photographed together since October 28th, and a source close to them stated that, ?Maks has been telling friends that he is no longer bringing Kate to a wedding that they were both scheduled to attend together."

Grabbing a little time for herself after a successful photoshoot in New York City, the insatiably beautiful Kate Upton went for a stroll on Thursday (November 21), and looked great while doing it.
Clad in all black in the big city, the 21-year-old super model wore an overcoat on top of a tuxedo shirt, and she sported sexy black skinnies and high-top leather boots.
The Sports Illustrated superstar is also cast to play a role in the upcoming comedy, "The Other Woman," coming at us from "The Notebook" director, Nick Cassavetes.
According to the flick's synopsis, "After realizing she is not her boyfriend's primary lover, a woman teams up with his wife and plots mutual revenge."

Having some fun Down Under, Kate Upton enjoyed some horse racing action at Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday (November 5) in Melbourne, Australia.
Striking a pose in a curve hugging red dress with a matching hat, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model showed off her presenting prowess while holding the cherished Cup.
Earlier, the gorgeous 21-year-old tweeted, "On the way to the #EmiratesMelbourneCup ! I am so looking forward to being a guest of @emirates & @FlemingtonVRC #melbcupcarnival."
Held yearly, the Melbourne Cup Carnival features horse racing, live musical entertainment and fine dining.

The 21-year-old supermodel looked absolutely flawless in a vibrant red dress as she greeted the shutterbugs waiting for her.
Recently, GossipCenter caught up with Miss Upton to discuss her favorite fall trend.
"I love anything leather," the Sports Illustrated stunner explained. "A leather jacket in the fall or a good pair of leather boots."
Also sharing the item she would take on a trip to space, Kate stated, "I would just be excited to have the opportunity to go to outer space."
"I don't think I would be thinking about anything materialistic," she added.
