He?s been hard at work on his new film ?The Lincoln Lawyer,? and yesterday (August 17) Matthew McConaughey received a visit from Camila Alves.
The ?Dazed and Confused? stud looked delighted to see his beautiful babymama as he strolled around the Los Angeles set in a white tank top and black trousers.
On the home front, it seems Matthew gave his son Levi a special surprise by bringing home a gorgeous gray cat from a vet clinic.
McConaughey has always been an animal lover, as he was active in rescuing pets during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Looking to catch some of the 2010 World Cup action, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves were spotted on a lunch date in New York City today (June 15).
Joined by their son Levi, the ?Fool?s Gold? stud and his lovely lady headed to a local eatery where they prepared to watch Brazil take on North Korea.
And of course, Matthew was showing his support for Alves? home country with a team Brazil soccer jersey.
Though Levi seemed to want to go on his own, the proud papa gently put him back into his stroller for the nanny.

Stepping out for an exciting evening, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves were seen arriving at the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards tonight (April 18).
The ?Failure to Launch? hunk and his lovely babymama looked snazzy as they smiled for the shutterbugs outside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Last night (April 17) Matthew and Camila were at yet another high profile event- the premiere of ?Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3-D.?
The proud parents looked to be having a marvelous time as they hammed it up together at Rave Motion Pictures Theater in Sin City.

Showing off his adorable family, Matthew McConaughey was joined by Camila Alves and their two kiddies in Malibu, California on Saturday (April 3).
While Miss Alves carefully cradled baby daughter Vida in her arms, her "Fool's Gold" actor beau grabbed ahold of Levi as they ventured into a friend's birthday party.
Making for quite the celeb-filled shindig, the beachfront birthday bash also drew out stars including singer Pink and actor Kevin Dillon.
Meanwhile, Matt spent the previous night treating his lovely lady to a romantic dinner date as helping hands took over watching the little ones.

Making the most of their time in New York City, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves were spotted out in Manhattan today (March 11).
Joined by their son Levi, the “Fool’s Gold” stud and his beautiful babymama grabbed some lunch, including a delicious corn on the cob.
Last night, Matthew and Camila were over at Skylight Studios for the Bravo Upfront Party to hobnob with industry bigwigs.
The happy pair gave a quick smile before heading inside, holding hands as they strolled past the shutterbugs.

Embarking on another journey, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves were spotted at LAX International Airport earlier today (March 9).
Joined by their two kids Vida and Levi, the “Failure to Launch” stud and his lovely lady looked like they were prepared for chilly weather as they made their way through the terminal.
In a recent interview, Matthew explained that their baby girl’s name was quite simple to come up with.
“We only had Vida. She came out and she gave us life so we named her Vida.” Vida means ‘life’ in both Portuguese and Spanish.

Making what looks to be the perfect couple, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves attended the MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute to Neil Young in Los Angeles on Friday (January 29).
Both dressed to the nines, the “Fools Gold” actor and his baby mama model girlfriend patiently made their way down the red carpet, stopping and posing for pictures along the way.
As previously reported, the happy couple welcomed baby #2 at the beginning of January, and according to Camila it’s tradition in her home country to abstain from sex for 40 days after the birth to allow the mother’s body to relax.
Of her body she tells, “You give it time to recover and let everything settle down. For these 40 days you really take it easy,” she told StyleList.
Lucky for Matt, the long 40 days will be up just ahead of Valentine’s Day on February 13.

Showing off her already-trim post-baby body, Camila Alves was treated to a romantic dinner on the town by actor boyfriend Matthew McConaughey on Thursday night (January 28).
Celebrating Miss Alves’ 28th birthday, the well-dressed lovers headed into the ritzy BeauRivage Restaurant for a little Mediterranean cuisine in Malibu, California.
Earlier in the day, Matthew was hard at work - as the “Fool’s Gold” hunk strutted his stuff in a tux during a photo shoot on Zuma Beach.
Always the gentleman, Mr McConaughey kindly stopped for a pack of young ladies for a fan photo op while rolling around the set on his John Deere cart before continuing along with the day’s duties.

Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed their second child on Sunday, a daughter they named Vida. Little Vida joins her older brother Levi, 17 months. It seems like Camila has been pregnant for a long time but that’s probably because McConaughey made the announcement on his website in June, when she was only a couple of months along. Yesterday he announced his new daughter’s birth on his website and explained that Vida is Portugese for “life.” Alves hails from Brazil.

Daughter Vida Alves McConaughey arrived Sunday, Jan. 3 at 12:13 a.m., Matthew announced on his Web site. She weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 oz and joins big brother Levi, 17 months.
” ‘Vida’ is Portuguese for ‘life’ and that’s what God gave us this morning,” the actor blogged. “Camila’s recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks.”
McConaughey, 40, and Alves, 26, announced the pregnancy in June, blogging, “We pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time. Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows.”
The couple, who began dating in 2006, chose not to find out the sex of the baby prior to delivery, just as they did with Levi. McConaughey encouraged fans to guess, however.

I will never forget Matthew McConaughey’s description of Levi’s birth. It was one of the best celebrity interviews I’ve ever read and after that I became a true fan. He didn’t mince words when it came to describing the birth scene and explained that “having a baby is a bloody, pukey, sweaty, primeval thing.” As for his delight in learning the sex of his first child he said “I saw the pecker and screamed that we?d been right all along about him being a boy.” In a later interview, McConaughey admitted that he’d saved the placenta from Levi’s birth to plant in his yard as per Australian aboriginal tradition. I can’t wait to hear what McConaughey has to say about the birth of his daughter. The guy has such a colorful way with words and you can tell that he really loves life. Congratulations to Matthew, Camila and Levi on the new addition to their family!
