US Magazine has made the questionable decision to feature pregnant reality stars Kourtney Kardashian and Kendra Wilkinson on their cover this week. US was the magazine that was shoving Speidi in our faces so much last year, so I have this sneaking suspicion that they’re cutting deals with the networks to promote certain shows. Maybe they think people are interested enough in pregnant faux-celebrities to buy their magazines. They’re promoting the story with what is probably the most sensational detail, and it’s not that interesting - both Kourtney and Kendra have breast implants and want to nurse their babies.
Despite having breast implants, both Kendra Wilkinson and Kourtney Kardashian still want to breastfeed, the moms-to-be tell the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now).
“I was so scared that I wasn’t going to be able to nurse that when I saw stuff come out of my nipples the other day, I was like, I can breast-feed?” Wilkinson, 24, tells Us Weekly in an exclusive joint interview with Kardashian, 30. “And I asked my doctor, who said, ‘That’s fine, but it’s not milk yet!’”
Adds Kardashian (who, like Wilkinson, is also due in December), “They say usually you can [breast-feed with implants]. I want to.”

I was told at LaLeche league class that we could breast feed with implants, not that it was ever an issue for me. I heard a story about a friend of a friend that couldn’t produce milk due to a breast augmentation, but that’s just anecdotal and it’s probably different for everyone.
I guess the thing that really sticks out about this story is that it’s yet another overshare from pregnant reality stars Kourtney Kardashian and Kendra Wilkinson. We just heard Monday that Kourtney is being advised to STFU about her pregnancy. She seems to make headlines with some asinine trivial overshare every day. Monday it was all about how she runs “around naked all day at home.” I’m sure that if that was the case it would be on her damn show. Kourtney and Kendra’s network, E!, has more details of their interview. Kendra says she’s been so horny since she got pregnant that she’ll do it in the bushes with her new husband, but that she can’t stand anything more than a quickie:
“I?ve been hornier!” Kendra told the mag of her sex life with hubby Hank Baskett at their shoot. “We?ll be off-roading, and we?ll go at it in the bushes somewhere! Or we?ll be driving, and he?ll pull over. Quickies are the best! If he lasts any more than a couple of minutes, I?m like, ?I?m done!?
Both of the former party girls say their men will be in the delivery room when the big moment happens, but they’re not sure if they’ll watch…
“Scott [Disick] goes back and forth. He?ll say, ?I?m just gonna stand and hold your hand and not look,? and then he?ll say that he wants to see it,” Kourtney told the mag.
Hank is still on the fence, too, according to Kendra.
“At first he said, ‘I?ll be there next to you, but won?t watch.’ But now he says, ?I want to see the crowning moment.? I?m like, ?Will you have sex with me after seeing this?? Kendra told Us.
In case you were wondering, both girls hope to deliver their babies naturally and want to breastfeed, despite their implants.
Once the baby is here, Kendra says she’ll have no qualms about taking her little one to visit the Playboy mansion.
“Hef is a huge part of my life, and I don?t care about any other whore there,” she told mag in her typical candid manner. “I care about Hef. He?s a good dad, a great person, and I want my child to be around him a little bit.”

E! also has an interview with Kendra at the top of that story in which she gets so excited to describe when she first learned she was having a boy. She exclaims “a penis!” all extra loud. I guess if US wanted some candid pregnancy talk they couldn’t do much better than to get Kourtney and Kendra together. E! is probably feeling pretty smug about having two reality stars expecting around the same time. Soon there will be babies to film and fawn over.

Shopping the day away, Kourtney Kardashian was all about shopping for her baby on board at the Juvenile Shop in Calabasas, California on Thursday afternoon (August 20).
Joined by babydaddy Scott Disick, the 30-year-old expectant mother browsed the local boutique’s racks side-by-side as they loaded up with gear for their little one.
Talking about the pregnancy with People magazine, Miss Kardashian explained how she wishes her late father were around to see his grandchild.
She tells, “I wish my dad was here, but I know that he is here with us [in spirit], and I feel like this is definitely a blessing from him. I would love for him to be here and experience this all. I feel like he would be so happy.”

Star Magazine has an interesting article about the drama surrounding Kourtney Kardashian?s pregnancy. Much of it reads like yesterday?s report from the Enquirer - that Scott Disick is a cheater and a wanker, and that Kourtney?s family and friends don?t think much of him. Most of this piece is a confirmation of that, but there is some new information. Apparently, Kim Kardashian was really pissed that Scott didn?t drop to his knee and propose immediately when he learned of Kourtney?s pregnancy. Also - Kim read Scott the riot act about his immaturity. The way Star makes it sound, it?s as if they came thisclose to referring to it as a ?man-to-man chat?. Kim has also been trying to act like Scott?s official chaperon, although I don?t know how she?s managing to watch Scott while she?s allegedly reconnecting with Reggie Bush.
The most interesting part, to me, was about how Kourtney thinks her pregnancy is her ticket to fame. Kourtney thinks the baby will ?raise her profile? and ?the timing is perfect? to coincide with the promotion of her new show. She also has dreams of doing a maternity line:
?[The Kardashians] are all super concerned because Kourtney and Scott have never had a solid relationship,? an insider tells Star. ?He?s a cheater, and he?s really hurt her in the past.?
Kourtney, 30, called off their 10-month engagement in February because of Scott?s wandering eye. ?He was openly flirting - probably more - with other women,? a source said at the time. But by March, they were back on. Then Kourtney forgot to take her birth control pills, and a baby was on the way.
?Kim and the rest of the Kardashians are really rallying around Kourtney,? a source says. ?Thye want to make sure she has all the love and support she needs.? Because she isn?t getting it from Scott.
Kourtney admitted: ?Scott?s had moments when he?s really scared.?
?Kim pulled him aside for a long lecture,? an insider reveals. ?She told him that he needs to stop being so immature and noncommittal.? Kim couldn?t believe that Scott didn?t propose as soon as he heard the news.
But for Kourtney, the ring really isn?t an issue. ?She?s got what she wants,? says a source. ?Attention!?
The mom-to-be seems more concerned with making headlines than playing house. ?She thinks the pregnancy will be great for raising her profile,? says a source.
Indeed, the publicity is perfectly timed to coincide with the start of her new show, Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami. Next, she plans to open a children?s clothing store in LA. And she even wants to design her own maternity line! ?She wants to do something like Nicole Richie did for A Pea in the Pod,? one source explains.
While Kourtney travels to promote her show, Kim is keeping an eye on the father-to-be, even chaperoning Scott to an event on August 12. ?She didn?t let him out of her sight all night!? a source tells Star.
?Kourtney wants Scott in her life, but she?s not going to put up with any drama,? says a source. ?She?ll raise the child alone if it comes to that.?

I don?t find any of this hard to believe in the least. Kourtney has been looking to break out and get more attention for a while now - Khloe too, for that matter. They?ve been eclipsed by Kim?s badonkadonk long enough! And Kourtney?s plan to get more attention is working! People Magazine is now doing daily updates on Kourtney, all with ?exclusive? interviews. Today?s story is ?I Wish My Dad Was Alive?. I have no doubt that Kourtney does miss her father, but I?m starting to find the coverage, the interviews, and the updates a little? what?s the word?? famewhorish. I?m already over it. That was quick!

Out gearing up for their baby-on-the-way, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick went shopping at the Juvenile Shop in Calabasas, California on Thursday afternoon (August 20).
The E! reality star and her babydaddy strolled the local boutique’s racks side-by-side, with Kourtney clad in a loose fitting ensemble draped over her baby bump.
Chatting with press about getting ready for their impending arrival, Kourtney tells of the nursery, “I haven’t done one thing for the room, except look online at a million pictures. But I’m also kind of waiting until I can find a decorator. I just want to work with someone and make it perfect. I have a stylish vision of a room in my head.”
And it sounds as if Scott is getting into the fatherly spirit, with Miss Kardashian revealing, “At nighttime, I’ll make Scott put his hand on my stomach and feel it. Every time he leaves me he kisses my stomach and says goodbye to the baby and talks to it. It’s so cute.”

Gearing up for her baby on board, Kourtney Kardashian has been doing all that she can to make sure that she’s ready for her motherly duties when her first child arrives.
Preparing for her bundle of joy alongside babydaddy Scott Disick, the E! reality star told People magazine, “We watch these videos together on some random Web site I found called healthguru.com. They have videos which tell you what to expect, like the size of the baby at different stages, what the baby is doing inside. They’re cool. Neither of us have read a book, but we’re going to.”
Also getting in a little shopping ahead of their impending arrival, Kourtney, 30, explains, “Scott and I went to Barney’s and I said to the guy, ‘I need a baby gift,’ and I bought a cute little cashmere hat. Then we went to Planet Blue [in L.A.], and I was like, ‘I need a little cute something cute,’ so we picked up some baby shoes.”
With her soon-to-be auntie sisters also getting in on the baby retail action, Miss Kardashian reveals, “Kim got me like a huge basket filled with stuff. She was so excited. And she and Khloe got me some stuff in Africa when they were there. My mom got me an Hermes blanket that I was dying for!”

Kourtney Kardashian?s newly-announced pregnancy has been getting quite a bit of press lately. I wonder if the next five months will be like this? Perhaps we?ll be given hourly updates on the state of Kourtney?s womb, her revelations about everything from baby fashions and posing nude, to birth control and abortion. What surprised me was that Kourtney gave away her biggest exclusive - she named the father, on-again boyfriend Scott Disick - within hours of the news of her pregnancy breaking. She should have held on to the gossip for just a little bit longer. She could have convinced us that Jude Law was the dad! We would have bought that. Kourtney might even be a better baby-mama than Samantha Burke.
The question I?ve always had about this whole situation is whether Scott Disick is really interested or committed enough to be a father, and be with Kourtney for the long term. On Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Scott always seemed totally boring, and utterly uninterested in Kourtney beyond sex. There were rumors flosting around for a while that Scott is quite a womanizer, and that he cheated on Kourtney quite a bit when they were together last year. Now the Enquirer is reporting that Scott hasn?t changed his ways one bit since learning he?s going to be a father:
Kourtney Kardashian? announced on the ?Today Show? on Aug. 13 that she?s pregnant by on-again/off-again boyfriend Scott Disick. Kourtney blurted out that Scott?s ?very excited? about the baby, adding: ?He was so for it and so excited from the beginning. And we?re really happy.?
But the night before she dropped her baby bombshell in New York, Kourtney?s handsome beau was acting nothing like a blissful father-to-be at an event in California.
?Scott was hitting on a blonde in a short black dress,? divulged a source at the event, an art show at Hollywood?s Milk Studios. ?He was hugging her and rubbing her back. They were ordering vodka drinks for each other. He took a picture with her and even handed her his phone so she could punch in her number.?
And the blonde wasn?t the only woman to catch Scott?s eye that night, said the source.
?Before he moved in on the blonde, Scott was chatting up a brunette,? the source divulged. ?He was on the hunt - not faithful boyfriend material by any means.?
Scott has reportedly cheated on Kourtney a number of times. The two split in January, but recently rekindled their relationship, which led to the pregnancy.
In July, Scott introduced Kourtney - who?s due in December - to an old pal as his ?girlfriend? while they were having dinner at a restaurant in the Hamptons. But his skirt-chasing behavior while Kourtney was promoting her new show doesn?t bode well for their future, noted the source.
?Kourtney?s just starting to show, and Scott is already acting like a horndog,? said the source. ?God help her once the baby arrives.?

Yeah, it?s not going to last. They?ll stay together until the baby is born - they might even make it a few months after that. And then they?ll break up, because Scott isn?t ready to settle down. Just my take! But I do wonder why Scott encouraged Kourtney to have the baby - as she told People Magazine yesterday. She said that she told Scott she was considering an abortion, and ?He wanted me to talk about it more, but I just kept to myself. He said, ?I really want you to keep it, but I will support you whatever you decide to do.?? In this week?s Star, there?s another report about this situation, too. Apparently, the Kardashian family is encouraging Kourtney to go ahead and dump Scott now. That?s the advice I would give her if I was one of her sisters.

Shortly after discovering she was with child, Kourtney was thrown into one of the most difficult decisions of her life. What to wear during her pregnancy. Just kidding. It was abortion. She was deciding whether or not to get an abortion.
“I definitely thought about it long and hard, about if I wanted to keep the baby or not, and I wasn’t thinking about adoption,” Kardashian, 30, who was shooting E!’s Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami at the time, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I do think every woman should have the right to do what they want, but I don’t think it’s talked through enough. I can’t even tell you how many people just say, ‘Oh, get an abortion.’ Like it’s not a big deal.”
So true, Kourtney. Most people don’t think abortion through. They don’t even consider the fact that a pregnancy could boost ratings for an upcoming reality series. But not you, Kourtney. You’re a forward thinker. High five!
After scouring the Internet, Kardashian says she started to realize that an abortion wasn’t an option for her. “I was just sitting there crying, thinking, ‘I can’t do that,’ ” she says. “And I felt in my body, this is meant to be. God does things for a reason, and I just felt like it was the right thing that was happening in my life.”
I know. It was as if God himself made you not take your birth control pills and made you pregnant just in time for your show. Blessed you are.
Kardashian says she did some intense soul-searching. “For me, all the reasons why I wouldn’t keep the baby were so selfish: It wasn’t like I was raped, it’s not like I’m 16. I’m 30 years old, I make my own money, I support myself, I can afford to have a baby. And I am with someone who I love, and have been with for a long time.”
Oh, you mean Scott Disick? The guy you broke up with in February only to reunite with after finding out you were having his kid? If that’s not true love, then I don’t know what is.

While she’ll surely be getting support from her loving family when her baby enters the world, Kourtney Kardashian admitted that there was a point in which she thought about getting an abortion.
“I definitely thought about it long and hard, about if I wanted to keep the baby or not, and I wasn’t thinking about adoption,” the E!star tells People magazine.
“I do think every woman should have the right to do what they want, but I don’t think it’s talked through enough. I can’t even tell you how many people just say, ‘Oh, get an abortion.’ Like it’s not a big deal,” the 30-year-old adds.
Kourtney continues, “I called my best friend crying, and I was like, ‘I don’t know what to do.’ She said, ‘Call your doctor, and at least find out the risks and stuff.’ “
Deciding to hit the Web for info, Miss Kardashian explains, “I looked online, and I was sitting on bed hysterically crying, reading these stories of people who felt so guilty from having an abortion. I was reading these things of how many people are traumatized by it afterwards.”
Upon looking over all of the facts, Kourtney decided that keeping the baby was best for her. “I was just sitting there crying, thinking, ‘I can’t do that,’ And I felt in my body, this is meant to be. God does things for a reason, and I just felt like it was the right thing that was happening in my life.”
The brunette beauty adds, “I really wanted to think it through for myself, and not hear what my sisters were saying, or what Scott was saying. Even though I took it all in, I wanted it to be my decision. My doctor told me there is nothing you will ever regret about having the baby, but he was like, ‘You may regret not having the baby.’ And I was like: That is so true. And it just hit me. I got so excited, and when I told Scott he was so excited. But I think if I had said I’m not going to keep it, I really think he would have pushed me into keeping it.”
